Before we start, I wanted to say sorry for the huge delay. I know what you people are going to say but this is my style. I like to create stories and the website isn't limiting me for how many I can make it. I have an idea and I run it, don't worry this story already has an ending in mind is just is going to take a while. Well let's make this show be on the road.

The group took a look at the one that saved them from the ants. The tall man just looked at them with a crypt look and nobody had any idea of what he could it be or what he was planning, he did saved them from the ants so that mean he was an ally or something.

''Is everyone ok? Are the ants gone?'' Asked him.

''Yes, they are not biting us anymore.'' Said Erza.

''Good.'' Said the man

Before anything could be said he vanished with incredible speed and punched everyone in the group really hard.

Pow pow

''Argh.'' Said Gon and Killua.

''Aaah!'' Scream Natsu in pain.

''Ouch.'' Said Gray.

''AAAAH.'' Said Wendy, Happy and Charla.

Everyone on the group was just trying to make sure that the damage was cured quickly and then focus their attention on this mem.

''What was that for it!"' Scream Natsu.

''You kids deserve it for being reckless.'' Said him.

''Hey these are just ants. We could have end them pretty quickly.'' Said Gray.

''This way of thinking in these parts is why these insect devoured so many humans before.'' Said the man.

The group was now in shock. Those ants have killed human before? But they were so tiny.

''What! They are that dangerous.'' Said Lucy in horror.

''Idiots! All of you were to be bone by now. If I didn't stop them it would be only skeletons right in front of me. That's what I get from people who don't know the lands.

''Please sir, don't be mad. We didn't know that a nest was here. Please don't be mad.'' Said Wendy.

Wendy words made the man a little calm. Maybe because listening to childlike innocent voice really calm the situation or he didn't wanted more headaches.

''Fine, I just had a pointless kill already. I don't need more headaches.'' Said him

''What are those thing called?" Asked Erza

''They are called Chimera ants.'' Said the man.

''Chimera Ants?'' Asked Killua.

''But I don't see any wings or lion features.'' Said Happy.

''They have this name for being able to have multiple genes samples. Is a long story.'' Said the man.

''Those thing look a lot like fire ants or any regular ones, but the front are sharp like freaking blade. No wonder they killed human before.'' Said Gray.

''Is not just that. This was a recently made colony, the trick is to notice that your surroundings are pretty much clear. If there is no life form near that means trouble.'' Said the man.

''Wow, great advice thank you Ging.'' Said Natsu.

''I am not Ging.'' Said the man.

The group then looked confused at all this. They thought this man was Ging, sure he didn't look nothing like Gon but it could be more relation to his mother or something.

''Then why did you stood up when we said Ging?'' Asked Juvia

''I….'' Said the man but Gon cuts him.

''His name is Kite.'' Said Gon.

Kite then looked at Gon and he recognized the kid from all those years ago.

''Oh it's you again. Man Gon you have grown.'' Said Kite.

''Yes, I have been training and exploring a lot over these years.'' Said Gon.

''Wait a minute you know him?!'' Asked Natsu.

''Yes, Kite-sama was my dad pupil, and he was the one that told me that he was alive and still being a hunter.'' Said Gon.

The news really shocked everyone. They all heard great stories about Ging but this was really a new one.

''You are Ging pupil!' Scream Natsu.

''Yes, Gon´s dad is the reason of hwy I became a hunter in the first place.'' Said Kite

''Wow so you must be full of crazy moves and powerful nen attacks.'' Said Gray.

''If we get out of here I challenge you to a fight Kite!'' Said Natsu.

Kite just smile at that. At least Gon made some good friends.

''Well I am flattered but before we can continue I would like to learn your names. I already Gon´s so…'' Said Kite to the group

''I am Killua Zoldyck.''

''Natsu Dragnell.''

''Lucy Hearthfelia.''

''Gray Fullbuster.''

''Erza Scarlett.''

''Juvia Lockser.''

''Wendy Marvell.''

''I´m Happy and this Charla.''

''Do you wish to explain why are you in a land full of deadly insects mister Kite?" Asked Charla.

''I am on a mission right now in this country. Its hunter business.'' Said Kite

The mages were all impressed by this, even Killua was admitting the power of this man. That was a real hunter.

''By the way kid, did I miss heard or you are a Zoldyck?''' Asked Kite

''Yes, the world-famous family of assassin.'' Said Killua.

''But don't worry mister Kite, Killua is pretty much harmeless. He doesn't kill anymore.'' Said Wendy.

''don't call me harmless because this is something that I don't associate me with.'' Said Killua.

''Oh sure.'' Said Lucy

Soon Kite saw that they look cold and possibly hungry, an attack from chimera ants were something that you should brush off.

''So you kids want to get some food?" Asked Kite

''Yes, we would love it.'' Said Gon

''Come with me.'' Said Kite as they all sit on his little bonfire as a stew was being made.

''So you been here for a while?" Asked Wendy.

''Yes, over a few months. I was hired by a empire to do some investigation.'' Said Kite.

'It must be good be trusted by a kingdom.'' Said Lucy.

''By the way Gon how is your aunt?" Asked Kite

''You have meet Mito?" Asked Gon

''Sure, but she didn't know I was Ging apprentice. I just went to her bar and I saw his picture. I ask around town and they told me who she was.'' Said Kite.

''She is good. A little mad that I became a hunter, even tried to break my license, but she is doing fine.'' Said Gon.

Lucy was liking this talk. Gon was having a nice bonding moment, she wished she had something like equivalent of a parent. Mostly Makarov has filled the role of a father or grandfather to her since she joined the guild.

However while the talk was nice there was something that the Fairy Tail mages wanted to know.

''Kite, can you tell us how Ging is?'' Asked Erza

The Hunter felt that this question was going to show up so he decided to tell them.

''Well he is a good man. That I can start with.'' Said Kite

''A good man?" Asked Wendy.

''Exactly, he is pretty much the strongest man I ever meet. The chairman said he is on the top 5 nen users in the world. He is like someone you don't wanna mess with.'' Said Kite telling more about the legend of Ging Freesc.

''Hey, don't be so sure about this. Once we find him I am challenging him to a duel!'' Scream Natsu

''Aye! Natsu is going to burn his butt.'' Said Happy.

''Why does a cat has wings?' Asked Kite

''I am an exceed.'' Said Happy

''Never heard of you kind. Must be from the foreign countries all the way down the sea.'' Said Kite.

''You would be surprise what is on the other side of the world.' Said Gray

''So you were trained by Ging-sama? How was he as teacher?" Asked Erza

''He was ruthless. I worked hard every day and I felt that I couldn't reach his level. Even thought I had a rough time those were the best years of my life.'' Said Kite

''Was Ging a good master or is kind his situation with Gon?" Asked Juvia

''Sort of it. Sometimes he was there and other times he was completely gone and I haven't heard from him in weeks. I felt that teaching me was like a side quest for him while he was busy doing his real job.'' Said Kite

The group was all amazed by this. Ging was treating the training as a side quest, he truly was great adventurer.

''How did meet him?" Asked Gray.

''I was a rough kid stealing to survive. Never meet my parents and was a street rat. All I had in company were wild animals in the city. One day after getting food I saw Ging in my sewer lair with a ton of animals that I have befriend in town. Even the horse that took a like of me was there.'' Said Kite.

''How did a horse end up in the sewer?" Asked Happy.

''Let's not discuss this.'' Said Kite.

''Ok.' Said Happy.

''So why this sudden obsession with Ging?" Asked Kite

''Well Gon is his son and since we are friends we are going to help him meet his dad.'' Said Natsu

Kite knew this wasn't the true, it was half so he went and deduced right on.

''Ging wants you to find him?" Asked Kite looking at Gon.

The mages and hunters were amazed by that deduction. Kite was surely someone good at deductions.

''Exactly, I have been looking for him almost a year now.'' Said Gon.

''Do you have clues?'' Asked Kite

''Well yes. When we arrived in Fiore we were looking for all kinds of messages.'' Said Gon

The Hunter was confused by this. He had heard this name before.

''Fiore?' Asked Kite confused.

''don't tell me you haven't heard of Fiore if you are Ging pupil.'' Said Gray.

''Of course he has it. Ging is a member of Fairy tail, of course he heard about us.'' Said Natsu

Kite was only looking at them with a confused look.

''Fairy Tail? What is that?" Asked Kite

''Is our guild. Look our marks.'' Said Lucy showing her hand as the other show their marks.

''We became members when we arrived at Fiore.'' Said Gon

Then the gears in Kite brain started to work and he remembered where he saw those marks.

''That's explain that story.'' Said Kite

Flashback

Kite was just a young boy doing some running with Ging. It was a huge forest at night, and it was a huge storm happening at the moment. It was a death sentence but for who wants to become a hunter it was a piece of cake.

''Hurry up. We have still 8 miles to run!' Scream Ging

''Sure.'' Said Kite

As Kite was catching up to him he saw some kind of weird symbol in his body. It looked like a phoenix or something.

''Huh….'' Said Kite

''What is wrong?'' Asked Ging.

''master what is that?'' Asked Kite pointing to the Fairy Tail mark.

''Is just a tatoo. Nothing more and I don't want to tear my skin. Now hurry up.'' Said Ging

Kite just decided to move on but he never forgot that mark because well it was a part of his master who he highly regarded it.

Present

The members of Fairy Tail were both shocked and intrigued by that piece of story that Kite told them.

''What! Ging called his Fairy Tail mark as nothing!'' Scream Natsu

''I guess it makes sense, I mean I wouldn't be around telling where I got this mark. It would lead to people going there and attacking looking for me.'' Said Killua.

''So you all are a guild?" Asked Kite

''Yes, we are from the most powerful guild in all of the city of Fiore.'' Said Natsu

'I take that pride is right on the bat for you all.'' Asked Kite

''Pride a big part of this guild.'' Said Gray.

''Of course. We might not be smartest guild but we sure value our members and everyone associate with them.'' Said Erza

''Sorry about this. Is the way that the guild has.'' Said Lucy.

''Fairy Tail is the best! You should go.'' Said Happy.

''Yes they are this kind of desperate to make sure you don't forget who they are.'' Said Killua.

''Hey!'' Scream Natsu and happy angry.

Kite just smile at them. That was a good bunch who would become great Hunter if they had the chance.

''So Kite I see that you were taking a break from you big mission?" Asked Charla.

''Yes, nothing has been happening lately. So I was just fishing for fun.'' Said Kite

''It must be good to have a lot of free time and not have to worry about money.'' Said Lucy.

''Wait a minute. I have a question. If you have this much free time, do you know where Ging is at?" Asked Gon

The group was confused at first but then that make sense, that was a logical question, and it would be good to know.

''Yes, I know where he is. Do you wanna know the location?'' Asked Kite.

Gon just smile and answer right away.

''No.'' Said Gon

The hunter just smile and nods at Gon.

''Good answer. I knew you were a real hunter.'' Said Kite

''So you really going to let this clue pass?'' Asked Erza

''If I get this information, I am pretty much cheating from the quest. After this everything will be worthless to look for.'' Said Gon

''Mister Kite, is Ging-sama like you as a hunter?" asked Wendy.

''Oh not at all.'' Said Kite

''What kind hunter is Ging-sama like?" Asked Juvia.

''He is a double star hunter.'' Said Kite

''We have S class mages on our guild like Erza here. She did a super test and pass it.'' Said Gray.

''So is like that?' Asked Wendy.

''No. I get that be an S class you need to do a lot of training and quest in order to achive it. To become a star hunter, you need to do some special type of quest that the hunter association wants. As far you progress it you need to do one or two more request to become a star more, the highest is three starts which are those who full fill the biggest request set by the association.'' Said Kite

'Interesting. In order to become a S class the challenge is changed every year and only one member of a guild can become one. In fact we were in the middle of a S trial before things got interrupted.'' Said Erza.

''What happened?" Asked Kite.

''We had to prevent the end of the world from a dragon and then we got stuck in time and space for seven years.'' Said Gray.

Kite just heard that and decided not to ask. They were handling fine and both Gon and Killua seemed ok also.

''Ok.'' Said Kite

''So mister kite, what were you doing so far in your investigation?" Asked Wendy.

''Well at the moment, I send my students to do some research while I was here.'' Said Kite.

''Your students?" Asked Happy,

''Yes, I am training a group of future hunters. I helped them with a cause and know they are under my care.'' Said Kite

''That so cool.'' Said Natsu.

''Yeah, it's amazing what people can do.'' Said Killua.

''Right now, they are doing more research and are a bit late. I don't blame them, I send some hard question todays.'' Said Kite.

''At least you are not as ruthless as Ging.'' Said Gray.

''Maybe later.'' Said Kite that was all calm and then Natsu stopped everything.

''Hey! How about you meet the guild?!'' Asked Natsu.

The group were all confused at that. How would Kite met the guild.

''Really? You want me to meet Fairy Tail?" Asked Kite

''Sure, your master was member which makes you a member by legacy.'' Said Natsu.

''that's not how it works.'' Said Killua.

''Plus, you can teach us all kind of cool stull. Like how did you that explosion!?" Asked Natsu.

''Please kick him in the face.'' Said Gray.

''Mister Kite, can you tell me more about your years of adventures? I am writing a book and I think this would be pleasant.'' Said Lucy.

''Or teach me about this weird ecosystem. I am curious.'' Said Wendy.

''I guess you weren't expecting this.'' Said Gon with a cheap smile.'

''Be ready to find them annoying.''' Said Killua

The hunter heard those rambling and just smile. Just like him and the others kids in the streets.

''Sure, I would love to meet Fairy Tail.'' Said Kite.

''Hurray. This is going to be awesome.'' Said Happy.

''I just need to send a message to my students. Saying that I would be out for a day or two.'' Said Kite.

''But what about these ants?" Asked Lucy.

''So far they are on the level of infestation 1. They can be killed off by others hunters.'' Said Kite

''If anything happen you are send back here?' Asked Erza.

''Yes, I made a contract and I wish to full fill it.'' Said Kite

''Good, we will wait for you.'' Said Erza.

5 minutes later

After talking with his students on the phone, Kite was ready.

''Ok I am done. I told them to contact me if the ants start to act crzy.'' Said Kite.

''How are we going to get back on the guild?" Asked Gon.

''We were sent via go card. We can't used it to go back.'' Said Killua.

''Not exactly.'' Said Kite.

''Huh?" Asked the others.

''Let me show a ´´cheat code´´ that Ging thought me when he was developing Greed Island.'' Said Kite.

''What?'' Asked them.

''Gon do yous till have the card?' Asked Kite

''Yes, but the effect is over. It doesn't work.'' Said Gon.

Kite then grabbed the card and started to fold it.

''Left, left, right, right, up, up, down, down, 1, 2, 3 and…go.'' Said Kite

The card stated to glow much to everyone surprise.

''What is this?" Asked Gon.

The card looked like its original state but it felt like a rewind button.

''Is this the card?' Asked Gray.

''Is a mixture of magic with Zetsu. Don't tell Ging about it or he is going to throw me in the dungeon of the castle.'' Said Kite.

''that's so cool and creative.'' Said Lucy amazed at that.

''Yes, that's how the brain of Ging work.'' Said Kite

''If is not a trouble can I put that too in my book?" Asked Lucy.

''Is ok, but don't tell that I did this trick. I memorized from watching the game masters, if they find out they are going to get me and you.'' Said Kite.

''You are kidding right?' Asked Lucy

Lucy was a bit confused at first but the serious look from Kite, Gon and Killua meant to that the game masters were not a joke.

''Sure.'' Said her.

''Ok, now everyone get together. Accompany now, return!" Scream Kite as the group was teleported back to Fiore.

Soon a huge beam of a light hit the streets of Fiore. It didn't hurt anyone but was near enough of the guild.

The Group now with Kite were just amazed on how fast this trip was.

''Wow, I don't feel my stomach all mushed up again.'' Said Erza

''I do.'' Said Lucy

''Still better than trains.'' Said Natsu.

''Shut up Natsu.'' Said Killua

Kite was just seeing the huge building with the mark that his master had for years and he looked at that amazed at it.

''So this is the building?" Asked Kite.

''Yes, impressive isn't?" Asked Gon.

''Ging never talked once about it.'' Said Kite.

''Talk is one thing, now is time for you to experience it.'' Said Gray.

Kite just smile as he follow the mages.

''Ok everyone, show me what this guild has to offer.'' Said Kite.

Kite was now on his way to the guild where a bunch of crazy people were ready to meet and greet him.

Meanwhile the chimera Ant queen was starting to get more big and strong animals in her diet. This way she could get more creatures to eat.

So yes we are going to have Kite talk with Fairy Tail. Don't worry him and the others are going to return. I want Fairy Tail to make a real connection with Kite before the horror that awaits him. It makes sense, a huge problem that people have with the 2011 anime is that while Kite is a cool character, we don't have a lot to get attach to him emotionally. The manga and the 1999 anime did a good job, sure he is kind forgot because Gon isn't doing what Luffy do in relation to shanks. In the 2011 anime it was weird, it was said that Kite saved Gon, punched him, Gon looked at him and then he vanished like that. Really weird but hey I wasn't there. Ok next time is Kite meeting Fairy Tail.
