After escaping the cave full of body remains, the Straws and Lara figure out that they are dealing with some more deadly than they ever thought. Using Chopper nose they are able to get a scent of Sam smell and use it to find the girl.

They heard about the cult and think the worst. Specially Usopp that think they are going to sacrifice them and use as an offer to the gods, Zoro wants nothing to do with this and wants to cut down Himiko since Luffy already took down a God in Skypia.

The group soon hears that Lara friends were capture and with some good time and thinking they are all able to take down the enemies and save the rest of Lara friends.

Later they find Whitman unharmed. Sanji thinks he is working with the cult and demands to lead them to Sam. Whitman tells them that the cult doesn't seem him as threat, so they are now cooperating with him, he offers to be on look out and give the information where Sam was. While Lara, Zoro, Luffy, Nami, Robin and Franky go after Sam the rest of the crew stay on the look out with Whitman.

Soon they find Sam with Mathias and they heard that she was chose to be the reincarnation of Himiko and that she will be the only reason to let everyone go. Mathias than heard about the problems and leave Sam alone, Lara embrace her friends but that was a trap and soon it is revealed that Whitman and the rest of the crew was capture too because they knew where to hide and attack much to the Straw Hats annoyance.

The group manages to fight back Mathias man and let Sam go, since they want her to be the reincarnation or some crap they make sure that she is safe.

I would cut down the helicopter scene because I thought it was getting receptive how in the game you have tons of hope to get out the island only to be destroyed.

Once the crew gets out of the temple, Mathias arrive with an army and they have Roth as prisoner, they say that if they don't surrender, they will kill him. Listening to Lara the crew agreed. Mathias with a smirk decides to just be a sadistic bastard and was ready to kill Lara if wasn't for Roth protecting her, getting an ax stab in his back. Sanji manages to kick Mathias straifht to the face and the crew takes out the rest of the army in no problem, but Mathias runs away.

Chopper does his best, but Roth had enough of damage and dies. Luffy scream in anger and tells that Mathias is going to pay.

The scream of Luffy draws the attention of Lara friends that appear out of nowhere and they see the group with the corpse of Mathias. The group then think that they should use the Sunny to get out of the island, while some agree Lara, Robin, Luffy and Nami think that if they try the Sunny might be damaged. Robin points out that every attempt end up in failure and in the death of someone, is like a divine power is making sure that they stay on the island. Some of Lara friends are pissed and thinking that a good night of sleep might make them think rationally.

Later both Robin and Lara figure out that the Sun queen and the storms are connect and using a map that Nami had stolen the group ends up going to a river which leads to a ritual room. The group thinks this is the place where they can stop everything.

In the morning while everyone is getting ready to enter in the Sunny, the girls try to make sure that everyone follow their plan to stop everything. Before more tension can start Whitman appear and they think he is leading them to death. Before any more casultiy happen Jonah try to calm everyone and that kind helps.

The group see that Alex is not with them, Lara, Luffy, Usopp, Nami, Robin and Brook go to find them. The later find him trap and soon things get worst when tons of members of the cult appear and they try to kill them. Luffy try his best to save Alex but the metal that he is stuck is too hot and soon he will lose a leg, Alex tell them to leave and before they could do anything he shoots a gas chamber and the entire room explode. The group is in shock specially Luffy who is tired to see people dying for nothing. He promises that he will avenge Alex by kicking Mathias ass and defeating the Sun Goddess.

Back in the beach Franky tell them that the Sunny is ready, and they can leave, before they can do it Lara and Robin talk about some weird ruins that might be connected with everything. Since Robin is the one with the most of brain of the crew, Luffy declare that nobody is leaving until they see the ruins.

On the ruins Lara and the Straw Hat crew find the skeleton of an old Japanese samurai with a note. They read and they discover that before the priest that would be Himiko offer committed suicide ruining the ritual, making the goddess soul trap in a decay body. That makes Zoro laugh while the others get chill in their spines. They see that the storms and horror are caused by Himiko anger because of her soul.

They figure out that in order to get everything to stop they need to destroy Himiko body, Zoro offer to be the one to do it because he wants to be the one to end this goddess reign.

Before they could do this they heard that Mathias and Whitman attacked again and have captured Sam. They convince the rest of Lara friend to take a shot at their plan and drive their boat near the river where they need to stop the ritual.

In the morning they get ready for the sneak attack. The group see Mathias and Whitman holding sam and they are going to end their mess. While Whitman try to talk with the oni guards of Himiko they kill him, much to some of the crew shock. Mathias uses this to pass them and take Sam with him to the rituall

The monster trio defeat the two oni guards while the rest enter in a restrict area. Luffy, Zoro and Sanji soon join them, and they find the symbols for the ritual. It takes the group a while, but Robin and Lara figure out everything, the ritual doesn't transfer power it transfer a soul.

The group rushed towards Mathias where he is performing the ritual. Sam screams in agony as her soul is about to be taken away, Mathias try to attack the group, but he is defeat in the most humiliated way possible, shot in the eye by one of Usopp tobacco shot and falling down the cliff. With Mathias gone they need to take care of Himiko, Zoro charged with two sword style and cut the head of the corpse ending the Sun Goddess reign and freeing Sam.

Now with everyone free they sail away on the Thousand Sunny but not before giving a pray in honor of those who died. They soon see a rescue ship and land the explore there because they need to go to another world.

Everyone says goodbye and Lara tells them that this was the most excitement days or her life. Nami even joke about raiding Tombs, where Lara gets the idea of the name Tomb Raider. Luffy tells Lara to follow her heart and go where she needs to go. Lara thanks him and the Straw hats sail away soon taken out by a white light.
