The Hunter trio was stunned about that entrance. That wheelchair man arrived in a huge airplane and announces himself to help them. Could that be true? He is trustworthy. What kind of offer does he have?
"An offer?" Asked Kurapika.
"Yes. I would you all go with me?" Said Charles giving a smile.
"Oh yeah. Like we will get on a plane with a strange bald man that appears out nowhere." Said Leorio.
"I assure you that I am trustworthy." Said Charles.
"What is happening?'' Asked Gon peaking up the situation. He was still on Leorio back.
"He looks younger compare to the other you two." Thought Xavier.
"You said your name is Charles Xavier." Said Gon.
'Yes, my boy." Said Charles with a smile.
'Nice to meet you. I´m Gon Frecess and these are my friends Kurapika and Leorio Paladiknight."
"Gon. Don´t give our names, he might work for the police." Said Leorio all irritated that Gon gave their names to some bald head stranger.
"I don´t work the police mister Leorio. I work for a very different faction." Said Xavier.
"Like what." Asked Kurapika.
"Have you all heard of the term mutants?'' Asked Charles.
When he said that Gon and Kurapika look at each other. They both heard that word in the bar where those drunk idiots were shouting racist things.
"Yes, indeed we had. Earlier we went to eat in a bar and some bikers called our friend this term.'' Said Gon.
"I heard is because some people are born different.'' Said Kurapika.
"Wait really?' Asked Leorio confused. This was the first time he was hearing that.
"Indeed. Is because mutant is born with a different gene in their body called the X gene. This organism causes the individual to develop superhuman abilities that are way beyond the eyes of the regular man." Said Charles explaining mutant origin.
"ok mister. The idea of a different gene in someone's body is a whole different situation. Do you imagine the kind problems your body would have?' Said Leorio perplexed about this story of this X gene. One gene could mess the entire body if was wring.
"Is that seriously Leorio?"' Asked Gon.
"Yes, Gon. It could dispose your whole body.'' Said Leorio.
While they're argue Logan and Ororo step out of the plane.
"Chuck, what's is going on?" Asked Logan
"Whoa hello there." Said Leorio seeing Storm and how pretty she was.
"Leorio this is not the time." Said Kurapika all irritated that Leorio was trying to do that in this time.
"Are those the three?" Asked Logan seeing the trio. The hunters got surprised that they were recognized.
"Wait how did you know about us?" Asked Kurapika.
"You all in the news." Said Ororo and that got the hunters by surprise.
"Oh man really." Said Leorio all sad.
'Great. Now I have a bounty on my head." Said Kurapika all angry. That statement made the mutants very confuse.
"Bounty? What is blondie talking about?" Asked Logan.
"Logan let me handle." Said Charles moving toward in his wheelchair.
"I´m sure that a few explanations could help you three clear your name's" Said Xavier with a smile and Gon could feel a good thrust from this guy.
"Really thanks mister Xavier and…I´m sorry I didn´t get your name." Asked Gon looking at Logan. The hero only looked confused as Charles chuckles a little and introduced his colleges.
"This is Logan Howlet and this Ororo Munroe. Logan, Ororo theses are Gon, Kurapika and Leorio." Said Charles presenting the trio.
'Nice to meet you." Said Kurapika to the three.
"The pleasure is mine." Said Ororo with a smile, while Logan stay silent.
'So, you three are the mutants that the news had been talking about?" Asked Logan.
"We are not mutants." Said Leorio confused.
"That's another thing that attract my attention to you three. I can see that you are not mutants, but you are not like the average man." Said Xavier. That was a really good question that he had in his head.
"Of course, we are not like the average man. We are hunters." Said Gon all proud and that statement made the mutants very confused.
'Kid hutting is not such a big deal." Said Logan, kind offending the trio.
"Is not a big deal!" Scream Kurapika all irritated. Being a hunter was one the most noble jobs in the world.
'You don´t know the hell we passed to get our licenses." Said Leorio all angry. As a license hunter he couldn't let himself be insulted by some punk with a jacket.
'Yeah we almost die if we weren't for each other." Said Gon remembering the exam.
"It is ok we are not judging. But we heard that you three had abilities. We heard that you Kurapika could some chains." Said Charles trying to make the situation with less arguments.
"That's is true." Said Kurapika. That was the power of his nen.
"We heard that Gon is super strong.' Said Charles looking at Gon.
'He sure is. Kid may be tiny but he could beat out many people. And what about me?" Asked Leorio with a grin, just wondering what the news told about him.
"The said you could run fast." Said Charles with a sweat in his head.
"Not bad." Said Leorio with an enormous grim. Gon did not understood this situation while Kurapika signed over Leorio tactics.
"But this is not something in connection with your Mutant proclamation. This is our nen abilities." Said Gon.
"nen.' Said the three mutants confused.
'What in gods is that?" Asked Storm.
The three hunters got very confused over that statement. Sure, they discover about Nen a short while ago, but this people look like they were Nen users.
"Where did you three come from?" Asked Ororo now curious.
"I come from Whale Island." Said Gon being honest.
"Never heard of this place." Said Logan.
"Look can we don't´ super get serious right now. I´m still super tired." Said Leorio almost dropping tired.
"What's happen to you three?" Asked Ororo.
"oh, we fall out of the sky." Said Gon like it was nothing. The mutants were confused, while Kurapika and Leorio were nervous.
"GON." Scream the duo.
"What. But is true. We all fall from the sky this afternoon and we have no idea where we are." Said Gon.
"Chuck this is…'' Said Logan not believing in this story. Even after a long life like him, he couldn't see that. But Charles cut him to gather more information.
"Are you saying the truth, Mr. Gon?'' Asked Charles
'Yes, mister Xavier.'' Said Gon very seriously. Charles looks also to the other hunters and they give an approval face.
'You can trust him. Gon pretty much is an honest person.'' Said Kurapika.
"Too much for my taste.'' Said Leorio. Sometimes Gon was very goody.
"Oh my goodness your legs.'' Said Ororo seeing the state of Gon legs, they weren't destroyed by them were not fine.
"Oh yeah. I messed them on the fall. Kurapika and Leorio also got hurt.'' Said Gon with a tired laugh.
"But don´t worry I already treated our wounds.'' Said Leorio.
"Are you a doctor?" Asked Charles.
'Of co…'' Said Leorio with a grim but Kurapika cuts him.
'He is a medical student. He is not licensed yet.'' Said Kurapika exposing Leorio.
"Shut your mouth.'' Said Leorio annoyed by that.
"Come on to the Blackbird. We have medical supplies. Ororo can you help out Gon?'' Said Charles going back to the airship.
"Of course. Can I?'' Asked Ororo.
"Sure.'' Said Leorio helping Gon with Ororo be inside the Blackbird.
"Thank you, mister Monroe.'' Said Gon.
''The pleasure is mine.'' Said her with a smile.
"You two are coming along. We need to check your wounds.'' Said Logan to Leorio and Kurapika. The two hunters agreed and decided to go to.
"Sure. But if you try any trick we are forced to fight back.'' Said Kurapika all coldl.
"Yeah. You don´t wanna mess with us.'' Said Leorio trying to act tough but with no success.
"Rgh.'' Said Logan growling, with stun the duo.
'Logan.'' Said Charles calling out Logan.
"Whatever.'' Said Logan as he instructed the two hunters into the airship.
Blackbird.
While Storm and Wolverine were helping out the trio with their injuries, they were listening to their stories. All of them were sleeping normal and sundley they were falling from the sky. Xavier imagined that could the effect of some mutant power, but he remembers the word Nen that Gon used it. Could be this ´´Nen´´ also related to the X-gene. He left his thoughts for the moment and saw the newcomers all better.
"How do you feel?" Asked Ororo.
"Way better. Thanks.'' Said Gon all happy that he was able to feel his legs.
'Good. As soon we go back to the mansion Dr. Mcocy will check your injuries.'' Said Charles.
'Who is Dr. Mccoy?" Asked Kurapika with a few bandages.
'And why didn´t you say ´´Mansion´´?" Asked Leorio.
"Because we are tanking you are all to my school. The Xavier Institute of high learning." Said Xavier.
"What is that?" Asked Gon.
'Is a school for young mutants.'' Said Ororo.
"We are not mutants.'' Said Kurapika once again confirm the statement.
"But you three are not humans. For your description, the fall should have turned you three into pastry.'' Said Logan being honest.
'Ew;'' Said Leorio in disgust.
"Wait a minute. With this whole talk about mutants. Are you three-part of those species?' Asked Kurapika.
"Yes, Kurapika. We three are mutants'' Said Charles with a proud smile, with Ororo nodding and Logan just being silent at this whole conversation.
'Really' Said both Gon and Leorio in shock
"That's so cool Mister Xavier. What are your powers"? Asked Gon.
'Gon. This is not polite.'' Said Kurapika embarrassed.
'Sorry.'' Said Gon.
'That's ok Mister Kurapika. I am a telepath. Which means…' Said Charles using his powers.
"I can talk with people via their minds.'' Said him communicating telepathic to three via their heads.
"Wow.'' Said Gon.
"Impressive.'' Said Kurapika astounded by that.
"That's disturbing as all senses.'' Said Leorio afraid of what that man could find in his head.
'Miss Monroe has the power of control the wheatear. She can manipulate storms, rain, and wind.'' Said Charles pointing at Storm.
'That's is so great Mrs. Munroe. With your power, you can help outcrops around the world.'' Said Gon just imagining what a person that can control whether can do.
"Such a sweetie thing to say Gon. Thank you very much.'' Said Ororo smiling.
"And you?" Asked Leorio looking at Logan who was still very silent.
"Do you have power?" Asked Kurapika wanting to know too.
"I do. Here.'' Said Logan popping out his claws.
"AAAAH.'' Said Leorio in fear.
"What is that? Asked Kurapika in wonder.
'Those are my bone claws. If I were you I wouldn't try to make fun of me bud.'' Said Logan with a menacing grunt.
"Wait a minute. You said bone claws, but they looked like they are covered in metal. Can you explain?" Asked Kurapika seeing the shiny metal in the claws.
"Not now blondie.' Said Logan retrieving his claws back to this body.
"You have these powers. This is so cool. You look like…what the world I´m trying to say. Super hunters.'' Said Gon.
"I think you were trying to say Superheroes.'' Said Leorio.
"Oh yeah. Sorry.'' Said Gon with a tired laugh.
Charles saw those words and decide to tell the truth.
'Not that's ok Mr. Gon. In fact…' Said Charles with a smile and the trio at first didn´t believe but then the mutants had a very serious look of determination. Just like very powerful hunters.
"Wait a minute." Said Leorio confused.
"You all…' Said Kurapika in disbelieve and Charles answered to his question.
"Exactly. Not only I direct the school for mutants, but I also help them to use their powers to help out mankind in the battle against crime. We trained a group called X-men.'' Said Charles.
'X-men.'' Said Gon.
"You two are apart?" Asked Kurapika to Ororo and Logan.
"Yes. My code name is storm, Charles is professor X and Logan is Wolverine''
"Wolverine. as in the wild animal?'' Asked Leorio curiously.
"Gotta problem.'' Said Logan with a grunt.
"No.'' Said Leorio in fear.
'Wow. This is so cool to hear. So, this is because of a gene in your body. I really thought it was your nen.'' Said Gon and son as Nen was brought the mutants got confused.
'That word again.' Thought Logan curious.
'Mr. Gon, Mister Kurapika and Mister Leorio.'' Said Charles calling out the trio.
'Just called us by our names prof.'' Said Leorio with a cool mood.
"Ok. What is this Nen that you are all talking about.'' Asked Charles.
The three hunters look at each other and while they weren't the best to talk about Nen since they were only newbies at that, they decide to give it a try.
"Well is kindly complicated you see…'' Said Gon remembering Wing explanation.
After that Charles, Ororo, and Logan were listening for an hour about all of the bases of Nen. The explanations that Mister Wing gave him was really to good use. He explains the fact that the technique allows the living being to use and manipulate their own life energy or in some case their aura. Charles, Logan, and Ororo were surprised by that form of use of their own energy, it could be something mystical, Xavier knew that the supernatural is not something that is only in books, after all, he was a close friend of the surgeon turn sorcerous supreme Doctor Steven Strange.
Gon kept talking about the four major principles of Nen. That would be Ten, Zetsu, Ren and Hatsu. Ten being the one that keeps your aura in their body to not go away in the world. Zetsu which makes the user aura to not leak away from their body, it was like a water in a valve. Ren that focuses outputting a larger amount of aura than Ten, projecting it outward explosively. And finally, Hatsu which make the user to carry out a certain technique that is unique. Later he and Kurapika explained the six types of Nen (Enhancer, Emitter, Manipulator, Specialist, Conjurer and Transmute), that got Charlie attention on how a normal person could activate some kind ability and not be classified as mutant, if that information got out that could cause a crisis or some kind revolution. God knows what he thinks what Erik would do if he got this information.
(Author note: Yeah and making a very poor summary but I don´t write like three pages of Gon and the group explain Xavier and the rest what is Nen. That would take most of the chapter and I wanna do more things. The main thing is that Mutants got the idea of what Nen.)
"Interesting.'' Said Charles with so many questions and wondering. He had so much to discuss Nen and had so little time.
"I gotta say this is a really crazy explanation for some weird powers.'' Said Logan rubbing his head in annoyance, the kid gave them a really long-ass explanation.
"What categories are you three?" Asked Ororo.
"I am an Enhancer. I can make my strength and my healing go way beyond my body can handle.'' Said Gon.
"Isn´t that reckless.'' Asked Logan seeing Gon state.
"That's why I am always training no matter what.'' Said Gon all serious and deiminated.
'Kid got spark.'' Thought Logan with a smirk.
"I am a conjurer myself. Meaning that I can an object appear in thin air. Which means.'' Said Kurapika making his chains appears.
"Your chains.'' Said Ororo.
"Exactly. My Nen allows me to conjure theses chains as my main weapon. Not only I´m skilled with fight with them but I also possess various type of attacks that normal people couldn´t do.'' Said Kurapika.
"Interested. This could easily be confused with a mutant ability.'' Said Charles observing Kurapika.
"Yeah both of them are kind prodigy.'' Thought Charles looking at both Gon and Kurapika.
"What about you Leorio? What type of Nen are you?" Asked Gon with a smile. Leorio sweat a little nervous but gave an answer. Treu that he was not as the same level as both Kurapika and Gon, plus he was busy studying day and night to become doctor. Still he had some training in the free hours and he was able to awaken his power.
"I am an Emitter. But I had got so much training myself, got carried with my studies. The hunter license really help me paid the tuition.'' Said Leorio trying to act cool.
"That's really good to hear.'' Said Kurapika with a small smile.
"Exactly.' Said Leorio.
'Did you say Hunter license?'' Asked Charles.
"Yes, mister Xavier. This is a hunter license and…'' Said Gon showing his hunter license but before he could finish his sentence Logan picks up the card.
"Let me see.'' Said Logan.
"Give back.'' Said Kurapika angry that something important to Gon was stolen.
"In a minute blondie.'' Said Logan not carrying for the threads. He looks at the card and got surprised. He never saw this type of card or symbol anywhere in his life.
"Monroe, Chuck.'' Said him addressing the other two.
"Yes.' Said Charles going near Logan alongside Storm.
'Look it.'' Said Logan showing the card and the two mutants got surprised by that.
"Weird. They speak fluent English but the things that written are completely off.'' Said Charles observing the weird language from the card.
"Might be some kind weird language.'' Said Logan with a ground.
"Or for another dimension.'' Said Charles making an assumption that surprised both of his collogues.
"What.'' Asked ororo in shock. Charles returned the card to Gon and make a statement.
"Gentleman. I would like to welcome to you three to come to my mansion. Were my students live, until we figure out what to do in your situation you can stay with us.'' Said Charles.
"Really?" Said Gon and Leorio confused.
"This seen a little suspicious.'' Said Kurapika.
"Say the three guys who fall from the sky. You luck that chuck´s here is a saint, it was me things would get ugly.'' Said Logan.
"When we get there, we make an arrangement and I have my good friend Hank check on you Gon. If anything, your legs will be better in a week.'' Said Charles.
"Thanks mister Xavier.'' Said Gon accepting the invite.
"So, what is your two answers?" Asked Charles to Kurapika and Leorio.
The duo looked at each other wondering what to do. They also saw Gon who was in need of medical care, so they all decide to accept the offer.
'What other options do we get ?" Asked Kurapika.
"Yeah. Is either going to a mansion or live in the woods.'' Said Leorio.
"I appreciate your decisions. Logan we will be heading back to the mansion.'' Said Charles.
"Right. Buckle up.'' Said Logan pointing at the seats.
"This is new." Said Kurapika putting his belt as Leorio put one in Gon and one in himself.
"Yeah, I never fly in one theses thing before.'' Said Leorio.
"Wherever we are in the world this is way different from what we went thought.'' Said Gon flying for the first time that wasn't an airship.
'I assure that we will have a better explanation once we get there.'' Said Charles putting his belt.
"Another thing. What are your ages?'' Asked Ororo.
"13" Said Gon
"17," Said Kurapika.
"19," Said Leorio.
The last one made the mutants all confused.
"You are 19. Give me a break.'' Said Logan annoyed with Leorio.
"Is true I am still a teenager.'' Said Leorio that nobody believes him.
"Is true we saw Leorio ID.'' Said Kurapika being honest even that he didn't believe.
"Yes, believe or not he is a teenager.'' Said Gon with a smile. The mutants gave a weird look, Leorio looked like someone in his 20s.
"Some kids develop late in their teenage years.'' Said Ororo with a confuse laugh.
"Got that right Mrs. Monroe.' Said Leorio trying to give some charm but with no success.
"Don´t be a smart ass four eyes.'' Said Logan growling at Leorio.
"Jerk.'' Whisper Leorio.
'I heard that.'' Said Logan irritated which made Leorio jump in fear.
"Leorio don´t cause a confusion.'' Said Kurapika.
"Why does everyone like to make fun of me?" Said Leorio all sad.
"I don´t make fun of you.'' Said Gon confused.
"You do. You just don´t realize sometimes.'' Said Leorio all sad as they leave the woods thanks to the Blackbird and going to the Xavier Institute.
Shield Facility
Hill, Coulson and their team enter in the hidden Shield Warehouse. When they enter everyone saw the many man put down thanks to Killua attacks.
"Dear god.'' Said Hill looking at the many fallen soldiers.
"A mutant can do this.' Ask a random shield agent.
"Yeah. They are monster that can wipe us out.'' Said another agents with a racist arguments. Just hearing those words make Hill irritated with her man.
''Hey if keep hearing another stupid debate speech about humans and mutants. I am sending you two to Siberia for six months. Understood.'' Said Hill was all cold.
"Yes miss.'' Said the two now quiet.
"Good. Any sign of the intruder?''' Asked Hill to Coulson who was also looking around with a flashlight and a gun.
"No.'' Said him kind nervous.
Killua was sneaking in the shadows. Going very sneaky, a specialty of him. All he need was go outside put the keys on the jeep, learn to drive, get out of there and find Gon and the others. Everything was going fine, just a few steps to the door until a light spot out him.
"I found him.'' Said a random shield agents and soon everyone had their guns pointed at him.
"Crap. How did I let my guard down? If was still an assassin this would a dawn shame in my record.'' Thought Killua all irritated.
"Is just a kid.'' Thought Coulson in shock. A kid cause all this?
"Stop right there. You are under arrest for the assassination of many Shield agents." Said Hill all cold and pointing a gun at killua.
"Kill. I didn´t…'' Said him trying to argue but Hill kept insisting.
"Come with us.'' Said her still very rigid. Killua tired of that woman decide to go.
"No way.'' Said Killau using his electric nen ability to be increase his speed to get out of there.
"He is running away;'' Said a random Shield soldier.
"Shoot at him.'' Said Hill and many of the agents except Coulson aimed at Killua. And all of them were missing.
"Really is the best that they got?'' Thought Killua with a smirk. Typical military shoot everything and its done. When he heard that the shoots were over and they were reloading, one thought come to his mind.
"My time to take them out.'' Thought Killua going super-fast to knock theses agents.
Vroom
"What was that?" Asked Hill seeing Killua had vanished and many agents were being taken out. The only standing were her, Coulson and some other agents.
"He is running really fast.'' Deduced Coulson seeing a weird blue sparkle.
"Exactly'' Said Killua behind Hill with a murder glared.
"What that…'' Said Hill looking behind her.
"Hill lookout.'' Said Coulson.
"Peek a boo…" Said Kilua trying to just scare Hill and it succeeds.
"Whoa." Said Hill falling to the ground.
"Sorry for this.'' Said Killua starting to run away but Hill managed to scratch his arm with a bullet.
"Not gonna happen.'' Said Hill all determined.
"Whoa you have some spark old lady.'' Said Killua looking at his damage.
'Old lady.'' Said Hill all angry and starting to shoot at Killua repentantly.
"I hit a nerve. Nice.'' Said Killua dodging every bullet.
"Shut up brat.'' Said Hill all irritated.
"Ok. I just wanna get out of here and live but I think I had to…." Said Killua stopping dodging once he saw Hill was out of bullets. His plan was now to get out of there, but before he could make a run he was hit by a tranquilizer bullet behind his back.
"What.' Said Killua seeing the bullet clinched to his back.
"Coulson you shot a tranquilizer.'' Said Hill irritated that Coulson didn´t bring a regular gun like asked.
"Ha nice try man. But one shot is not gonna bring me down. You better…'' Said Killua feeling cocky, but then Coulson shoot multiple times and hit Killua 5 more times.
Shot Shot Shot.
"Ok now I feel dizzy.'' Said Killua feeling sleepy thanks to the tranquilizer for the first time in years.
"Nice shoot there Coulson.'' Said Hill glad that her colleague stopped this mess.
"Here. You don't look in critical conditions.'' Said Coulson giving Hill a hand.
"Just a few scratches, but he could do worst.'' Said Hill standing.
"Right.'' Said Coulson glad that the operation was done. But Hill had a critique to give.
"You went here with a tranquilize gun?' Asked her looking at his gun.
"Yes, but this is a chemical so powerful that just one could knock out an elephant. The fact that various shoots could knock him.'' Said Coulson kind nervous that it took one than more shoot to make Killua sleep.
"Ok. Now you can end the mission.'' Said Hill remembering Fury orders.
"What.'' Said Coulson as Hill gave him her gun.
"What are you thinking! Shoot him.'' Demand Hill pointing at the peaceful and sleepy Killua. Coulson knew he was dangerous, but he was just a kid.
"I can´t." Said Coulson lowering his gun.
"What." Said Hill angry.
"Look at him Hill, he is just a kid. I know he is dangerous but…'' Said Coulson giving his reasons, but Hill was not with time for that crap.
"Don´t give some sappy speech Coulson. He could have killed me. And that's are the director orders.'' Said Hill pointing at Killua.
'I´m not doing. Furry can do whatever he wants with me. I am not killing a child.'' Said Coulson still refusing to take that action.
"Fine. I will do it.'' Said Hill taking the gun and having to take the shoot. Coulson was going to look away when a standing Shield agent gave a report.
"Agent Hill, Agent Coulson. The agents aren´t dead, they are unconscious.'' Said him checking the down agent's pulse.
"What.'' Said both of the agents.
"Yes, none of them are dead. They are all unconscious...' Said the random agent surprised by that.
'So he didn´t kill anyone.'' Said Coulson.
"But he is not walking on this free.'' Said Hill still pointing her gun at Killua.
"Hill don´t…' Said Coulson wanting to stop but it was too late. Hill already took the shot.
Shot.
"Ops I missed.'' Said Hill looking at her shot. She had purposely missed Killua head and aimed a little higher so she wouldn't hit his head.
''What.'' Said Coulson confused. Hill gave a tired signed and look at him and said:
"Look I am not sappy as you, but we need to have some answers and this kid is gonna have to answer. Man.'' Said her addressing the reasons and ordering the agents around.
"yes, Agent'' Said the man grabbing Killua by the arms.
"Bring a prison cell and enough tranquilize to last for hours.'' Said her.
"Yes, agent hill.'' Said two agents dragging Killua out of the facility and into their helicopter.
"What are you gonna do?" Asked Coulson intrigued to what Hill was going to do now.
"Call fury.'' Said her grabbing her communicator and calling the director.
"This is Fury talking.'' Said the eyepatch man over the phone.
"Coronel Fury. This is Hill, we has a change of plans. We neutralize the mutant but we didn´t kill him.'' Said Hill.
"Why not?" Said Furry angry that his orders were ignored.
'He didn't kill any agent, he knocked all of them unconscious. Coulson tranquilized him so we are bringing him to the hellairc to questioning.'' Said Hill giving her reasons.
Fury thought a little bit about this decision. It would be good to know how the mutant did all of this, but if backfire everything was going to him. But he didn´t have a choice.
"Alright. But if this backfire the blame is on you two.'' Said him all cold.
"Fair enough.'' Said Hill finishing her conversation.
"Let's go, Coulson.'' Said her walking back to the helicopter with her partner.
"You have a soft spot you know that Hill?" Said Coulson intrigued.
'I don´t. This little monster is a dangerous thing. And if try to attack me, I will be shoot in the head.'' Said her all cold and menacing, but Coulson was not buying that.
"Sure.'' Said him with a laugh.
"Let's go man.'' Said Hill to her man ordering the helicopter to go.
"Yes.'' Said the pilot.
While a medical team was sent to the knocked-out soldiers. Killua was still unconscious of the tranquilizers and being carried to the biggest agency of the world. When he wakes up, he was going to be so lost.
Xavier School for the Gifted
The Blackbird had just arrived at the school. The three mutants were all calm when they landed, however the three hunters were still very shaken by the new way of transportation. The three were a little shaken but they didn't look sick.
"We arrived.'' Said Logan landing the plane.
"Oh good.'' Said Leorio catching his breath.
"If you gonna puk, do it outside of the plane.'' Said Logan.
"Hank we arrived.'' Said Charles telepathic to his friend.
"Oh good. I will be there in a minute with the stretcher to help the young one.'' Said Hank with his mind. in the medical facility of the school
"Right.'' Said Charles with his mind to his friend.
"Let's get off the plane.'' Said Gon excited to see the place.
"I will pick you, buddy.'' Said Leorio putting Gon back in his back, while kurapika take off his belt.
'Thanks, Leorio.'' Said Gon.
The three hunters step outside of the Blackbird and saw a big mansion, with a gigantic field and some other things around. It wasn't as big as Killua mansion but was still impressive.
"This is my school for mutants.'' Said Charles.
"Whoa.'' Said Gon amazed by all that.
"It is huge. Look like an enormous mansion.'' Said Kurapika.
"It's been in my family for generations. I decide to use for the good of humanity.'' Said Charles.
"That's incredible mister Xavier.'' Said Gon.
'The kid is way too happy for me.'' Said Logan kind underwhelming by Gon enthusiasm.
While they were looking around the main entrance a new person arrived, but this one was all covered in blue fur and wearing only a black trunk. For the hunters this was something new.
"Charles, I had arrived.'' Said Hank McCoy the mutant knew as Beast arrived at the main door with a stretcher.
"Hank.'' Said Charles happy to see his friends.
"Whoa.'' Said the trio amazed by that.
"What is…'' Asked Kurapika not knowing what kind thing that was.
"Gentleman this is my collage and dear friend Doctor Hank Mcocy also known as Beast. Hank those are Gon, Kurapika and Leorio.'' Said Charles introducing everyone.
"Hello there.'' Said Hank giving a salute.
"Is nice to meet you doctor.'' Said Gon with a smile
"You must be Gon. Come here I will help your legs.'' Said Hank seeing the state of the young boy legs.
"Ok.'' Said Gon.
"Right there.'' Said Leorio putting Gon in the strechet.
"Thanks, Leorio. Can Leorio help too? He is a medical student and wants to be a doctor, he did this treatment on me before Mister Xavier arrived.'' Said Gon asking for his friend to help.
"You did. Impressive.'' Said Hank looking at the bandages, for someone that was in the woods Leorio did a really good job.
'Oh, thanks.'' Said Leorio blushing over the complement.
"Well is always good to have another person to help. So, you can come Leorio.'' Said Hank inviting Leorio to help treat Gon.
"Really thanks.' Said Leorio following Gon and Beast.
"Since Gon and Leorio will be busy with the treatment. How about a cup of coffee or tea mister Kurapika.'' Said Charles offering a beverage to the kurta boy.
'Fair enough.'' Said Kurapika actually feeling thirsty.
One hour later
Kurapika was having a nice cup of tea with Professor X and Storm while discussing the things that he and his friend had experienced. Logan was out of the kitchen, probably working on his bike. He explained stuff like the Hunter Exam and the rescue of Killua from the Zoldyck family.
"I understood. So, this Killua friend of yours is missing?" Asked Charles.
'Yeah. When we were falling, he got separated from us. Gon tried to go after him but if he did it, he would also got separated. So, we stayed together, Killua told me and Leorio to take care of Gon until we are reunited." Said Kurapika.
"Is he and Gon good friends.'' Asked Storms, which Kurapika only smile.
'I believe Gon would say they are best friends. They are really playful with each other. It is kind amusing actually.'' Said Kurapika
"That's interesting'' Said Storm.
"But being serious again. We don´t know how we got here. This place and all this information that you and Mrs Monroe had explain to me is kind amusing. Is true that our world is so big that not the majority was discovered yet. That's why exist explore hunters.'' Said Kurapika being serious while looking at his Hunter license.
"The way you describe Hunters is seen as a major thing.'' Said Xavier, ever since he meet the three, they only talk about hunters.
'It is. Is almost the most prestigious job in the world.'' Said Kurapika being serious.
'You don´t say.'' Said Charles with a curious face
"Charles.'' Said the voice of Hank and everyone saw the blue-furred man going to the kitchen.
'Hank.'' Said Storm.
"Doctor. Where is Gon?"' Asked Kurapika standing up.
"Ask him yourself.'' Said Leorio pushing a wheelchair with Gon sitting.
'Kurapika." Said Gon all happy.
'" Gon! Are you…'' Said Kurapika in horror. He thought Gon became handicap but Dr. Mccoy gave the explanation.
'This is just for precaution. He need a full week to healed up his legs if he wants to run again. I got say that your body is truly a marvelous itself mister Gon.'' Said Hank
'Oh, thanks Doctor Mccoy.'' Said Gon.
"This is time you gonna listen do the doctor. You hear Gon.'' Said Kurapika being strict with Go.
"Yes, Kurapika calm down.'' Said Leorio backing off.
"Good the three are here.'' Said Logan coming back from the garage and saw the hunters gather.
"Mister Logan.'' Said Gon.
'Just logan is fine kid.'' Said Logan.
"Right.'' Said Gon getting the information.
"So, Chuck.'' Said Logan looking at Charles for what he gathered. He didn´t wanna hear all that explanation so he hoped that the telepath had done the searching.
"I am not an expert of Nen. But by the looks, where you live maybe someone was trying out his ability and it end up bringing you all here to Bayville for reason yet unknow'' Said Charles giving an explanation, in the same way it was a mutant power and not Ne.
"Can Nen do that?" Asked Gon.
"It is possible. We all are beginners in both being Pro-hunters and Nen users.'' Said Kurapika thinking.
"Kurapika is right. We never know what kind of mystical powers someone might have.'' Said Leorio.
"How you three learn about Nen?" Asked Charles.
'Once we separated. We all went to train to become our types of hunters.'' Said Gon remembering when the group separated.
"Really do Hunters have so many variations?" Asked Hank
"Yes.'' Said the three.
"Interesting. Can you all give some examples? Like what hunters are you three and what you plan to achieve?" Asked Charles. After that each one gave their type of profession that they want to achieve.
'I want to become a blacklist hunter. So, I can track down the worst kind criminals in the worlds and bring him down.'' Said Kurapika being very cold and strict.
'Sound like an assassin.'' Said Logan.
'I don't kill it is not necessary.'' Said Kurapika being serious with Logan. He wasn't afraid of the Kura kid, but he knew that he wasn't joking.
'What motivates you to do that.'' Asked Ororo.
While they discussed Charles try to look on Kurapika mind and saw what appear to be a massacre happening.
'What is…' Thought Charles in horror seeing a little village being destroyed by 13 people. That was something really haunting to see. No wonder Kurapika wanted to be a blacklist hunter.
'Mister Kura…' Said Charles wanting to talk about that but Kurapika cut him direct.
'Professor Xavier!" Shout out Kurapika surprising everyone. He was always so silent and reserved but this time he was pissed. He didn't even looked at Xavier but his face was full of sorrow and sadness.
"I will tell the story about my Klan later professor.'' Said Kurapika all cold. Leorio and Gon gave their friends sympathetic smiles while the mutants got all confused by that.
"What happen.'' Asked Ororo
"Something that reminds me of Erik.'' Said Charles.
"And you mister Leorio?" Asked Ororo trying to change the subject.
'Well I decide to get the license to help me pay my tuition on medical school.''
'That's a noble goal.'' Said Hank smiling.
"Yes. I wanna be a doctor to help those who are in worst needs and don´t charge them for nothing.'' Said Leorio telling his dream.
'You are truly an incredible man Leorio.'' Said Charles with a smile.
'Stop you are making me blush.'' Said Leorio.
"And you kid? Why did you wanna become Hunter?" Asked Logan to Gon.
"Oh, is because my dad is one too. You see he left me with my aunt when I was just a baby so he could focus entirely on his hunter life.'' Said Gon telling about Gin. The teacher really were surprised that Gon talked about that subject like it was normal and not sad.
"Gon…'' Said Ororo feeling sorrow for him.
'So, your old man skipped on you?' Asked Logan being direct.
'Yes technically. But I don't hate him for that. If he abandons me to become a hunter, then this job must be so much cool.'' Said Gon.
'I don't think this the right idea Gon.'' Said Hank with a doubt face, like was Gon so fascinated with his father that he didn´t care for the neglect. He better-checked latter.
'Well my goal is to find my father and talk to him.'' Said Gon.
'That's an interesting goal to pursue.'' Said Charles interesting goal.
"Yes. Find your deadbeat dad.'' Said Logan.
"Logan.'' Said Hank and Ororo anger by Wolverine remark to the kid father.
"Is ok Logan I'm no offended. I never meet Gin, so I don't know how he is.'' Said Gon being very optimistic.
"Is that his name?" Asked Charles.
'Yes.'' Said Gon.
'I think we should go back to talking about your world.'' Said Ororo and the three hunters agreed on that.
'Do any of you know a place of your region that could help us track?" Asked Charles and Gon was the first one to answer.
"Whale island is where I was born and raise. Also where I meet Kurapika and Leorio, they were there to begin the exam.'' Said Gon remembering that faithful day.
'You right Gon. We meet there.'' Said Leorio with a smile alongside Kurapika.
"Hank can you check on the computers for Whale Island?" Asked Charles.
'Of course.'' Said Hank doing a quick to the laboratory and looking for Whale Island. However, he found nothing
"No search found.'' Said Hank coming back to the kitchen.
"What.'' Said the trio confused.
"This is gonna a little more difficult than I expect. However, I think I have a theory.'' Said Charles gathering an idea.
"Oh, Charles don´t you mean?" Said Hank with a silly nod I his face.
"Yes, Hank this time is a possibility.'' Said Charles very seriously.
'What do you mean?" Asked Kurapika.
'Have any of you three heard about the multiverse theory?" Asked Charles.
'No.'' Responded the trio of hunters.
'Is a theory that suggest that are different Universes and reality outside of ours. Some of those can be something simple like I have hair, or we are not mutant. Or in other cases…'' Said Charles giving an explanation and the hunters understanding (Gon not as much) what he was saying.
'Another world.'' Said Kurapika.
"What.'' Said Leorio and Gon confused.
'Professor Xavier are you saying that we were send to another world by someone or by something.'' Asked Kurapika.
"Yes. While you three speak perfect English your writing sure is peculiar.'' Said Xavier remembering the writing on the license
'So, we are not at home.'' Asked Gon all sad.
'I´m afraid not.'' Said Kurapika feeling bad. Leorio also was sad but he kept quiet. Charles then decides to stop this sad moment with more news.
"But don´t look sad. Because I promise that while you are here, I can find a way to bring you three back to your home.'' Said Charles surprising everyone.
'Your mutant powers can do that? "Asked Leorio.
'Well no. But I have a vast connection with great people. All of them very intelligent and full of surprises. Maybe one of them can help me out in figuring out this situation.'' Said Charles.
"Really.'' Said Gon all happy.
"Yeah. We can go back home.'' Said Leorio being cheerful
"In the meantime, you three can stay here in the mansion.'' Said Charles surprising everyone again.
"What.'' Said everyone in the kitchen.
"Charles….' Said Hank confused. The trio was good, but could they be trustworthy.
''Chuck, are you?" Asked Logan.
"Yes. They prove to be good people and all they want to do is go back home.'' Said Charles putting his faith on the hunters.
"We promise to not cause any trouble for you Logan.'' Said Gon. Logan decide not to argue with Gon, so he accepted.
"Fine. But if you cause anything here, you answer to me.'' Said Logan with a grunt.
'Right.'' Said the trio.
"I got say Charles not a bad idea. With their so-called Nen Abilities (Charles explain to him via telepathic conversation), they can bland as mutant in our society's.'' Said Hank.
'Yes…I think I have an idea.'' Said Charles with a smile.
"What is it?" Asked Ororo.
'Can you tell us?'' Said Kurapika
'I will tell the students that you three are mutants that we rescue in the bar fight. Tomorrow I will call the police and explain the situation.'' Said Charles.
'Thank you, professor.'' Said Kurapika.
"And by the looks of you three I will say that you are all from Japan.'' Said Charles.
"Japan?" Said Leorio confused.
'What is that?" Asked Gon.
'Is a country from our dimension.'' Said Charles.
'Chuck is right. You three look like Japanese.'' Said Logan.
"Thanks.'' Said Kurapika confused if that was a compliment or an insult.
"Also, Kurapika we need a last name for you. Here having no last name is a problem.'' Said Charles.
"Oh, I have a suggestion.'' Said Leorio.
"What is it Leorio?" Asked Gon.
'How about Kurta?'' Asked him.
"Good idea. Kurta is the name of Kurapika tribe.'' Said Gon remembering Kurapika stories.
"Was. That means….' Asked Hank but Kurapika cut Beast phrase.
''Please I don't wanna speak about that. But Gon and Leorio are correct. In this dimension I shall care the Kurta clan name. I will be Kurapika Kurta here.''
"Good.'' Said Charles happy to see this.
'That's the way Kurapika.'' Said Gon giving a cheer up to Kurapika and the blonde smile at that.
"They are all good people.'' Said Charles.
"You are right Charles. I just hope the student like them.'' Said Ororo.
"I bet they will.'' Said Charles.
"This a great moment. The Xavier institute has gained three new members.'' Said Hank.
'There are more mutants here? Can I meet them?'' Asked Gon excited.
'There are girls mutants?" Asked Leorio smoothing his hair.
'Oh boy Leorio.'' Said Kurapika with a sweat.
'Well is already late at night. But tomorrow is Saturday and they all be here to greet you all.' Said Charles.
'Great.'' Said Gon all tired.
"Interacting with people. That should be interesting.'' Thought Kurapika.
While they were all discussing, out of know were Gon shout out something.
'Wait a minute.'' Sai him.
"What is it Gon?" Asked Leorio worried.
'We were also supposed to train our Nen. We need to get stronger once we come back.''
"You right.'' Said kurapika agreeing.
'That's is not gonna be a problem. You can go to the danger room and train with both teams.'' Said Charles offering training.
'Are we gonna be superheroes?"' Asked Gon excited.
"Don't got this far Gon.'' Said Leorio with a laugh.
'Wait a minute. If we gonna be mutants, what is gonna be our powers?'' Asked Kurapika.
"Easy. Kid there is super strength. Blondie is chains. Four eyes is….'' Said Logan pointing at each one but having some difficulty to put a power to Leorio.
"I'm still learning Nen.'' Said Leorio all down.
'We will say you can run fast.'' Said Logan putting the first thing that pops in his head.
'You right. If mister Leorio can outrun 80 miles this will be enough proof.'' Said Gon remembering the test.
"Velocity huh. I can get used to that." Said Leorio
"But we are also not going home without Killua.'' Said Gon.
'You are so dedicated to him.'' Said Charles amazed by that.
"Of course, he is my best friend.'' Said Gon with a smile.
"Hum...'' Said both Kurapika and Leorio feeling left out.
"One of my best friends.'' Said Gon reassuring that he was in good terms with the two guys.
"Ha Ha Ha.'' Laugh at good
"That's so good to see.'' Said Ororo
"Yeah they are not that bad.'' Said Logan
'Is a miracle you are being so welcoming Logan.'' Said Hank with a smile.
'Watching fur ball.'' Said Logan all annoyed.
"Well gentleman is late. I shall guide you three to your room.'' Said Charles looking at a clock.
'Right.'' Said the trio following Charles.
Third floor
While going to their room. The three hunters analyzed the huge mansion that Xavier give his students class. It looked like a very old and had a lot of history. While quietly walking around the halls to not wake anyone Xavier and his staff stop to the last door in his right. A room with three beds.
"This will be your room.'' Said Charles.
"For us three?' Asked Leorio kind annoyed.
"Yes. That way you can all stay together and talk peacefully.'' Said Charles.
"Share a room with him...' Thought Kurapika and Leorio looking at each other.
"That's great. Since we are all in a new dimension we can discuss regular things from our region.'' Said Gon and immediately they decide to go share the room.
"Well he is right.' Said Kurapika with a defeat smile
'Yeah. The right bed is mine.'' Said Leorio jumping to his bed.
"Leorio don't be so childish.'' Said Kurapika shocked to that action.
'I´m tired.' Said Leorio taking his glasses and jacket of.
'Good lord. I will have the one in the left.' Said Kurapika pointing at the other bed.
'" And pick the one in the middle. 'Said Gon.
"Here you go.'' Said Kurapika helping Gon out to lay on his bed.
''Thanks.'' Said Gon.
"Sleep well gentleman.'' Said Charles as him and his staff were about to leave.
"Mister Xavier, Miss Monroe, Dr. Mcocoy, Logan.'' Said Gon
"Yes, gon?''Asked Charles and they all saw Gon bowing.
"Thank you for everything. You truly are good people, I don´t care what they are saying you mutants are very good people and we were lucky to come across you all.'' Said him with a smile. They were all taken by the kid optimism.
"Have a good night.'' Said Charles with a smile
"I will.'' Said Gon as him, Kurapiak and Leorio fall asleep Charles closes the door.
"What a good kid.'' Said Ororo.
'Yeah. He looks very naïve; the people are going to tear him apart.'' Said Logan.
"Logan.'' Said Ororo annoyed by that.
'Charles what are you doing is an incredible thing. Think about what we could learn and that license that you showed me. It was like nothing I haven't seen before.'' Said Hank.
'I know Hank. Those are three are more special than the students and I promise to make their way home.'' Said Charles.
"But first they wanna find their friend.'' Said Ororo remembering Killua.
'That's alright. Tomorrow after presentation and a tour of the mansion we will ask for a picture of Killua. Plus, we will also do a fitness test to see their capability.'' Said Charles.
'I will not go easy.'' Said Logan being serious.
"I know you are not gonna push over.'' Said Hank with a laugh.
"Now if you excuse me I need to start making arrangements and meeting with some people. Like Reed Richards, Steven Stranger…' Said Charles with a ton of plans in mind but his staff stop him.
'Charles is late. Worry about this tomorrow.'' Said Ororo.
'You right Ororo. Also, I need to call the Bayville school.'' Said Charles putting a mental note
"For what?'' Asked Logan.
"Hank can you make two very convince school background for Kurapika and Gon?" Asked Charles to his blue friend.
'I sure I can come up with something.' Said Hank interested in the challenge.
'You want them to go alongside the brats. What about four eyes.'' Asked Logan now worried that the kids are getting involved in this mess.
"Leorio is almost an adult. We will see what he can do.'' Said Charles.
'Alright, Charles.'' Said Hank accepting the challenge. Tomorrow he makes those.
"Well, I guess this is a good night to everyone.'' Said Charles to his staff as each one goes to their room.
"I still think this gonna be a mess Chuck.'' Said Logan walking away.
"We never know Logan. We never know" Said Charles with a smile.
Shield interrogation room. Helacair
Killua was waking up. From his body he must been inject with a powerful drug, even though his body was immune to poison they were some stuff that could still make him dizzy.
"Great. I have been capture.'' Said Killua annoyed looking at his chained body and the empty room that he was
"You are awake." Said a mysterious booming voice.
'Oh, how suttle a booming mechanical voice.'' Said Killua with a smirk.
'Who are you?"
'Name is Killua Zoldicky. And yours?'
'What is your mission?"
'What!' Said Killua confused over the mechanical voice question.
'What were you doing in Shield property?"
'I wanted information on how to get the city. But then your idiots soldiers decide to shoot fire at me.'' Said Killua
"Those were there orders.''
'Well you precious soldiers suck. I knock them with no problem.'' Said Killua.
"Why didn´t you kill them?" Asked the voice.
'I could but I am not doing this anymore.'' Said Killua being honest.
"Anymore.' Said the voice now confused.
'Yes. I am an ex-assassin." Said Killua. But after that answer, the voice had stopped and Killua got confused.
"Hello.'' Said Killua wanting answers, but then someone walks to the interrogation room. Some old guy with an eyepatch.
'Oh hi…'' Said Killua confused but the man cuts him out.
'Don't talk. One thing and we tease you until your sanity.''
'Who are you eyepatch?" Asked Killua
'My name is Colonel Nick Fury. Director of Shield and you kid has a lot to talk about it."
'Ok.' Said Killua not afraid and decide to tag along to see what happen.
Bayville
Four seasons hotel
The magician/clow Hisoka managed to sneak into the room of a five-star hotel even though he had no money or information where he was. How did that happen? Simple. Knock unconscious a guest of the hotel. Look at his information to make sure you remember the name of the person banking this room. Don´t make a scene. Sneak the cameras or block them with your nen and relax until trouble arrived.
Hisoka had been eating an expansive steak and some vegetables while watching some TV. Apparently, the place that we have was surrounded by something called mutants and how they were walking atomic bombs that could kill people in an instant.
That got him a devilish smile. His plan was to after Heavens Arena meet up with the Phantom Troupe and go to Yorknew city. Apparently now he was near a place called New York city but maybe it was not connected. That's was something really bowling his blood, the only reason he joined the group was to fight their leader Chrollor Lucifer who many speculated to be one of the strongest people in the world.
While Hisoka still wants to fight Chrollo, he got interested in this superpower beings. Not only the mutants but also teams called Fantastic Four, Avengers and a troublesome vigilant called Spiderman. He looks all about them on the internet and with no need for his hunter license. There he got an idea.
"I don't where I am. But as long I´m stuck here, I can try to find something interesting do too.'' Said him looking at a calendar.
"They're still a few months before the reunion. I thinks this will be a learning experience.'' Said him looking at something.
'I will find you all.' Said he looking to his personal board full of people and heroes that he was interested in fight.
In his board where pictures of the superheroes/ supervillains that he wanted to fight. Sure he would fight across any big power person that challenged him, but those got his eyes and ´´need´´ to fight. It was: Spiderman, The god of thunder Thor, Thing from the Fantastic Four, the Hulk and the mutant terrorist Magneto.
"This will be. An exciting hunt.'' Said him with a lick in his lips as he gets excited to fight someone.
