Ok guys so a little explanation. While this is technically a X-men evolution story, I am going to tackle a lot of marvel characters through the Hunter x Hunter characters. Also this chapter is going to answer you all to a question that you all might be wondering since the beginning, I am going to go with the route of the manga, the 1999 anime or the 2011 anime? While most is the 2011 anime, I will be using a lot of all the other forms of media. The kite example is going to be a major point here because some of you ask that in the comments.
Also, something else that I wanted to say. Once I introduce certain Hunter x hunter characters, I will give them backstory. Like Ging friends that made the Greed Island game, only Razor got a backstory and the others didn't. Same thing with all the other characters in most of the arcs, I got the feeling that backstory isn't Togashi strongest point, even Yu Yu Hakusho had this problem.
Anyway let's start this out.
Separate in three part because of time in my life
The mutants were all baffled over this explanation, they were expecting the boys being from another world and not this level.
''Another dimension?" Asked Jean
''Exactly.'' Said Gon
''This can't be real.'' Said Kurt
''Yeah, we saw you use your powers. You are all mutants.'' Said Bob and them every student looked at the ice man with a funny look
''Bob for a moment you taught they were aliens and now you are saying they are mutants. Make up your mind.'' Said Kitty with a smirk
Bob only looks away in some kind goofy way as he tries to play nice.
Soon they all went back to discuss about the trio of hunters.
''Where did you all came from?" Asked Scott.
''Well I don't how to explain but our world are kind similar in some regards. But yours is more technological advance while ours have some more of the mystical side.'' Said Kurapika
''Do your at least know how you all got here?'' Asked Rogue
''We don't know. We all were doing our own stuff before someone decide to sent us to this place.'' Said Leorio.
''What were you all doing before…I can't believe I am saying this…coming to this dimension?" Asked Jean
''Well I was doing some training with my abilities to be enlisted into a very specific job.'' Said Kurapika
''And I killing on my studies to be a doctor.'' Said Leorio with a grim
''What about you Gon?" Asked Kitty
''Well I was at my home in Whale Island where I had spent most of the last months relaxing and having fun with Killua.'' Said Gon
The mention of that name made the students confused.
''Who is Killua?'' Asked Ray
''Well since the cat is out of the bag, we might as well explain this. Gon explain that he, Leorio and Kurapika were not the only one sent to this dimension they had a fourth member in their group. There is another person called Killua Zoldyck who sadly while they were going down from the sky young Killua was swept away and we haven't been able to locate yet.' Said Charles explain the situation. That the group fall from the sky near Bayville and they were with another person name Killua who got separated from them. That made the students gasp.
''You were with another person when you all got sent here and you all lost him in the fall?" Asked Roberto
''Yeah. We still haven't idea where he is at.'' Said Gon all frustrated.
''Poor guy.'' Said Kurt
''How old is he?" Asked Jean
''My age.'' Said Gon
''Oh my god!'' Said Kitty in shock someone this young with a power like Gon in this racist society is not safe.
''don't worry Killua is fine. He can defend himself.'' Said Kurapika with a smile
''Yes before we meet him he was able to take care of himself thanks to his training.'' Said Leorio with a smile
''Oh really. He was like a martial arts expert or something in the general?" Asked Jamie
''No, he is different.'' Said Kurapika all simple
''Why is that?" Asked Amara
''Is kind messed to tell you all.'' Said Leorio trying to not tell the truth to these innocent mutants
''Let's hear I´m sure that is no problem.'' Said Rogue
''What is the big horror? Was he a super spy before meeting up with you guys?'' Asked Bobby all joking
''Oh no, he was an assassin.'' Said Gon all simple
That answer made all the mutants of the room a little uncertain and a bit horrifed. Did Gon said that correctly
''He is a what…'' Said Kitty confused
''An assassin.'' Said Gon still with a smile
They were still in shock over that revelation. Gon appeared to be a person that tells no lies so him saying that in his cute voice really made things escalate quickly.
''You are joking?'' Asked Scott
''Yeah, you are making it up.'' Said Ray
''Oh no we are seriously.' Said Leorio
''Yes, Killua is part of an infamous family of assassins called the Zoldyck. They have been around for generations and honestly Killua is a perfect example.'' Said Kurapika making the whole students more nervous.
''Your best friend is from a family of assassin? Does he do nasty things?!'' Asked Roberto now a little horrified.
''Oh yes. On one occasion. We were faced in a brutal serial killer called Johness the Disector. I´m telling you all this guy was a killing machine coming to life he killed for pleasure and Killua was the one that was going to face him.'' Said Leorio making the whole team a little bit in horror, a person of Gon age facing of a killer like this.
''What did he do?" Asked Rahne.
''He walked toward him and in blink of an eye he took out his heart. It was so awesome.'' Said Leorio remembering that scene
That alone got everyone in the room a little bit uncomfortable. Even the older mutants were a bit off by this, because the hunters mention that killua was strong but not this level.
''He took someone heart out?" Asked Kitty shaking.
''Indiana jones style?'' Asked Ray.
''Yeah and then he squashed in front of everyone.'' Said Gon all normal with not a care
That made things even worst, now the mutants only see Killua as a violent killing machine. Even though they aren't the best heroes, they are still heroes, they go around to protect people and prevent killing. So how they will cope now knowing that their friends have an assassin for a friend. Xavier, Beast and Ororo would question that later, but Logan was having none of that.
''Why didn't you stop him?" Asked Logan all pissed
''We couldn't stop him, that was the rules of the game that were at.'' Said Kurapika all simple.
The older mutants looked at each other with a hint of doubt. How they will cope with this, is not like none of them ever killed before. Logan killed people both in army and before joining in the group, but he had his reasons and was older, but this Killua need some serious talk.
''Ok taking about Killua another time. I´m sure we will discuss this better and you will tell us all that we need to know once we find him.'' Said Xavier
''Oh, sorry professor. We didn't know we drop all bomb here about Killua. We should have watched our tongues.'' Said Leorio.
''Despite his flaw he stopped being an assassin. He doesn't kill any more so those are some past waters. So, don't worry about your safety.'' Said Kurapika calming the mutants.
''Yeah Killua is a great. He is my best friend and is one of the most awesome people that I know.'' Said Gon with a smile
On a Shield base
Killua was walking with Coulson, Hill, Dugan and Carter toward a hall so he can a new mission to take when suddenly he sneezed very loud.
Achoo!
''What is wrong Zoldyck?'' Asked Coulson.
''I feel a bad sensation.'' Said Killua feeling a weird thing in his stomach.
''What is it?'' Asked Carter with a raised eyebrow.
''I don't know. Is like someone was talking about me.'' Said Killua a little uncertain.
''I usually get these things when Gon is embarrassing me. If I find him he going to get a punch in the head.'' Thought him.
''Are you coming or not?'' Asked Hill wanting him to move.
''Yes, I am coming Hill wait!'' Said Killua all pissed as he walked in the older agents direction.
As Killua go with his mentor he still couldn't stop thinking that Gon might have something to do with this bad sensation.
Back at the mansion
Gon was still trying to put killua in a good spot and despite some horrified look of some of the mutants Scott finally decided to speak up.
''If you say so them I´m sure that your friend will be welcome here. Sure is not gonna be easy, but is worth a try.'' Said Scott as the leader of team and most of the group agreed while others were still uncertain about all this.
''So, what is your guys story? Like what did you all do back in your dimension?" Asked Kitty
The trio looked at each other and decided to give the full story for the mutants.
''We are licensed Hunters in our dimension.' Said Gon with a proud smile alongside Leorio and Kurapika
''Hunters?" Asked the teens all confused
''Yes, where we come from we are license hunter from the Hunter association, in other terms we are part of a very cool group.'' Said Leorio
''What are they talking about?" Asked Kurt confused
''Being a hunter is that crazy?'' Asked Ray
''You bet it is. '' Said Gon
''And you three just go around shooting and killing innocent animals for fun?" Asked Kitty in disgust.
''What no. Why do you ask that?" Asked Gon confused.
'She is a vegetarian, so she is totally against any kind of Hunting.'' Said Roberto
''Yeah. Kitty is such a buzzkill.'' Said Bobby.
''OH, shut up you two.'' Said her.
''No Kitty you understand. We don't hunt and kill animals. That's not our type of Hunting.'' Said Gon
''What do you mean?" Asked her
''Hunters can be any type that they want, depending of what job they wish to fufil.'' Said Kurapika
''What kind Hunters are you three?" Asked Storm
That got the three by surprised that Storm asked that, and they decided to naturally answer it.
''Well I still don't know what kind hunter I wanna be so I´m still trying to figure things out.'' Said Gon
''I´m a blacklist hunter.'' Said Kurapika
''And I'm using my license to pay my medical school.'' Said Leorio
''So, you are really a medical doctor?" Asked Jean with a smile.
''Yes, I wanna be a great doctor just like Doctor Mcocy here.'' Said Leorio pointing at his teacher.
''Oh, mister Leorio you are making me blush.'' Said Beast.
''Actually, Leorio you never told us why did you want to become a doctor so bad. Is there a main reason?" Asked Amara
Leorio smile them went to become a sad one as he remembers where he came from.
''I come from a very poor region in our dimension. We didn't have enough to eat, much less pay medical fee. One day one of my best friend got all sick and I tried my best to save him but nothing worked, so after that I promised myself to become a doctor and save all that need the best kind treatment. I wouldn't care for how much would cost or how much is going to take as long my patience is fine it is all enough for me.'' Said Leorio all serious.
After hearing Leorio backstory the mutants all had a different view of the tall teen. At first, he seemed like the lazy kind guy with a heart of gold, but they soon saw that this was much moore deep that they imagined.
''So, you are really fixed into becoming a doctor?" Asked Jean amazed at that.
''Yeah, I did the hard part survive my childhood and passed the hunter exam. Now I just need to pass the tests.'' Said Leorio.
''Well is good to see that you are going toward a noble path Leorio and you can count me to help you achive your goals.'' Said Xavier
''And you should be thankful that this is how you meet him Xavier. I told you that at first that he wanted to be a hunter for the money but now he goes on his way to sound all pure.'' Said Kurapika
''Shut up Kurapika!'' Scream Leorio
''Ok.'' Said the blonde.
The mutants were now laughing at this. The truth was Leorio was a super gentle guy with a noble cause.
''Leorio you just won my respect.'' Said Kurt
''You are going in a good light and I hope that you keep climbing.'' Said Rahne.
''I hope you become a great doctor someday.'' Said Amara
''Wow guys you are all the best thank so much.'' Said Leorio loving those comments.
Everybody was now smiling at that and soon a new topic was raised.
''But about you Kurapika, where did you come from?" Asked Rogue
Kurapika smile then turn into a sad look as he look at Xavier.
''I think is time to say.'' Said him
''Kurapika are you….'' Said Xavier with a horry tone. He remember checking that horror scene in the Kurta brain so he didn't know if this was a good idea.
''Yes Xavier. It is time.'' Said Kurapika.
''Time for what?'' Asked Bobby
''To tell them all about the Kurta Clan.'' Said Kurapika all serious.
Sorry guys. I have to end things right here. I know is kind anti climatic, but I have some stuff to do and I don't have time to write more today. But don't worry I have the drafts of the chapter almost done, so I promise next week you might get not one but two chapters. I know this is kind bad pace, but I am not a professional writer, I am a fanboy who is using his free time to write down stories.
