Ok you all this is a little disclaimer that I want to make. I didn't want to put this on the last chapter because I already put that much on my thoughts about my writing and this will be the same because I want to say a few things about this story.
So you this all started because I was so inspired by ´´Smallville Xevolution.´´ Which was an interesting idea that involved what would happen if Clark Kent of Smallville end it up going to the X-mansion. I thought at first that the author would go this pattern, doing some Smallville episodes, doing some X-men evolution episodes, doing some original stuff, repeat etc. But no, he did something more, he started that story in 2010 and he end it in 2020. He spent an entire decade crafting that story and that world. He incorporated Smallville, X Men Evolution, MCU, Ultimate Marvel stuff, regular Marvel stuff, some things from the Tinn Verse DC and some DC comics ideas. I highly recommend you all to check it out that series.
So, Hunter X-men came from that but also at the time I was watching the Hunter X Hunter 2011 anime for the first time. I never read the manga; I never knew about the 1999 anime version. All I know was that this was one of the ´´Must see´´ amines of all time. A very praised and said to be one the best and it is true, I love Hunter x Hunter it is on my top 10. I of course watch Yu Yu Hakusho but that was when I was a kid.
Back to this story. Some of you might ask why including Leorio and Kurapika since one of the key factors of Hunter x hunter is not following the typical shonen formula. Once Kurapika and Leorio job is done in the arc, they leave so they could focus on their own dreams. Leorio to become a doctor and Kurapika to restore the Kurta clan eyes back. Those things are still going to happen but…I wanna try out what will happen with those twos if they stay around in the rest of Yorknew, Greed Island, The Chimera Ant Arc and the election. I know this against Hunter X Hunter logic but come on it doesn't hurt. Plus, I think it can benefit the characters a little bit.
Leorio is pretty much the only one that is ok after separating from the group but Kurapika. I´m not being dramatic or anything but Kurapika was becoming a villain. Think about it, in between the beginning of York New to the start of the dark continent arc, he created his own black hunter agency where he gathers all kind of bounty hunters and if you mention anything about the Kurta eyes, he will kill you, naturally Mizaistoin being a Zodiac could kick Kurapika ass, but this is something that I will tackle with Kurapika, his unhealthy obsession to keep his rage all inside of him. That is not good, and the X-men will make sure that this behavior don't keep growing in him otherwise…you will all see what will happen. After Yorknew and before Greed Island I have some arcs that will dealt with the aftermath and the Phantom Troupe. Also don't worry about characters from York New I will introduce them to the Marvel Universe like Melody and that one guy that didn't guy from the bodyguards. I get it what Tagashi was trying to do in the Succession War arc with Kurapika being charged into taking care of Prince Woble, he sees something so innocent and fragile being in the middle of a bloodbath over the throne. But remember Mizaiston still doesn't know if he will tell him that the spiders are in the Black Whale and if he says that all of them are there including Chrollo and Hisoka is doing his murder spree I think he is going to lose. Let's hope that Kurapika gets his happy ending. I will try here anyway.
Speaking of the Spiders, I am going to do something with them that when reveal will make you all look confused and weird out that I took this direction. We know that after Yorknew they disappear, pop out in Greed Island to help Chrollo introduce Kalluto, they fight the Chimera Ants , they don't show in the election, Hisoka and Chrollo fight with two spider dying and then they appear in the Succession War arc with intention to kill Hisoka. Well prepare to see a lot in Spiders after the New York arc because they are going to get a lot more of screen time and character development and backstory made up. But don't worry they are still the same as their Cannon with their total devotion to Chrollo.
So here is something that I want to ask? Do you think I reveal their identity too soon? Like should I have kept a mystery for like 5 or more chapters do a little arc with them or something? I felt like I don't know, I just jump the gut and didn't had time to establish the characters relationship to each other. This is something that I will regret later but I don't feel like go and change the entirety of the previous two chapters, too much work and I already have a life and so many stories to work on it. I know is not healthy, but I found a way to balance my life and those things. Like Gon is friends with most of the mutants, Leorio with most of the boys and Kurapika with the more intellectual people of the institute. Killua part I will show later in the story and his storyline I am actually kind interested to make. I promise that in later chapters I will develop how is the friendship between everyone in the mansion and who is like who.
Like I am not here to make the X-men all storylines revolving things that will happen because these characters are around. I am mostly focusing on Gon just like in the main story, sometimes I will shift the attention towards other people but in the end Gon is still the main character. Also, unlike ´´Smallville Xevoluton´´ I don't have any major character arc for some of the x-men or marvel characters alike, I have most for the Hunter x Hunter character. Seriously the author of that series was like a true comic book writer with ideas out of every conner.
I am also sorry for the constantly Marvel popping up. Like characters referring characters out of nowhere. Some people appearing for nothing, I really don't want stuff like this to keep happening on the story. It will drag and make things boring and I want you all to have fun. I hope to get a better pace later and write more chapters.
So here you have guys, I hope you all understand this. I just wanna make sure this story is good because I have so many ideas and interesting combos for later. This will be the entirety of the Hunter x Hunter manga with Marvel characters.
About the Dark Continent, it will be mentioning a lot but I won't write it. You know why? Too much convoluted and work to do. I am not that good of a writer to deal with that.
Next chapter will be Ging Tape and what happen to Hisoka after Magneto rescue him. See you all.
