Hey everyone, so, I usually don't do stuff like this. I know the website is for stories and not opinions, but I want to give my overall opinions on the Disney plus MCU shows.
WandaVision. At first it was something odd and weird. It was nice the homages to old tv shows and later down the line it gets really, really good. I have to applaud the writers of the show for making all those decisions and hell it made me want to read and look more into both Scarlet Witch and the Vision. I hope that we see more of her in the future, and I hope that she can get her children back. Also, the villain was something really powerful in that show. Agatha stole the show and I hope this series get Emmy. I have to say this is what I wanted the most on the MCU, something fresh and not the same repeated thing ever since the Avengers.
Falcon and The Winter Soldier. At first, I thought this was going to be just like any Marvel movie, but the one thing that kept me watching was Antony Mackie and Sebastian Stan chemistry. Those two really work well together. Now here is something that you might disagree with me. I didn't hate John Walker; I knew that once Sam gave the Shield to the museum the government wouldn't let that thing just sit there get dust. At first, I thought he was just a generic soldier that they took out of hat, but he is super dedicated and doesn't seen what he is doing. I mean he knows about all those stuffs and doesn't at the same time. I have to say when he decapitated that Flag Smasher my jaw dropped. I don't know much about U.S agent, but it has a following. Also, this shows has weak villains. I didn't care for the Flag Smasher or its leader, in fact I was happy because she died because she was one of those annoying villains that say she isn't a terrorist when she everything that a terrorist does. They get rid of Batrock the leaper who is a ton of fun. Zemo I got admit…I like that he is revealed to be a Baron. Why? Because one thing that annoyed me on the Civil War movie is that the Avengers, Wakandas and US government were easily tricked and hacked by one guy with a lot of free time. Now that its established that is a lot more it makes scene. Yes, that dance…not funny in my book. Also, I am happy that Sam became captain America, he looks awesome, and I hope the future move give us a new direction. Also, the stuff with Isaeh was just beautiful.
Overall, I enjoyed these shows. Wandavision more. But to be fair I been addicted to Invincible. I read the comic all the way in 2018 and I loved what they have done. Is not copy and paste, Robert Kirkman is doing a lot of new stuff and I am loving it. Let's just hope Loki lives up to expectation.
