Normal POV
Tracy is Ratchet's lab. She is working on her Valentine for Bobby. On the inside of the card was a picture of Hotshot shooting for the cannons on his arms. On the other side, it had an image of a huge fire on it. Along with the words, Bobby, my feelings for you can't be extinguished. The sparks in my heart are in fuel, so I hope you feel the same way. Happy Valentine's Day. She added some glitter onto the glue line she just put down underneath the words fire and sparks.
"So, are you about finished? The recruits are excited to learn about this Earth holiday," Ratchet says as he walks in.
Tracy jumps and drops the container of glitter. She groans and stumbles back when some glitter goes into her eyes. Ratchet catches her in his hand and sets Tracy on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," Ratchet says.
"It's ok. I know it was an accident," Tracy says as she rubs her eyes to get the glitter out.
"You shouldn't rub your eyes like that. It can cause the glitter to scratch your eye. which can cause permanent injury to the eye or introduce an ," Ratchet says.
"When did you learn that?" Tracy groans.
"Bobby had a similar experience happen to him a few moments earlier. Medix looked up how to help him on the internet. You should go to the eye in Griffin Rock as well," Ratchet suggests.
"OK, but I need a ride," Tracy says.
"I can give you and Bobby a ride," Medix says as he and Bobby enter.
"Yeah, it looks like we get to spend Valentine's day at the eye doctor," Bobby says.
"Yeah, a super romantic outing," Tracy joked.
The group heads to the ground bridge, and Medix transformed into his vehicle mode.
"Where are you three going? Cody asks.
"To the eye doctor, we had a small glitter related mishap while we were making our valentines," Tracy says.
"Sorry, you three, but the eye doctor is closed on the weekend," Cody says.
"Well, Bobby, it looks like we get to spend Valentine's day in the ER," Tracy sighs.
Ten minutes later, the trio returned from the ER; Tracy and Bobby are happy that they didn't damage their eyes with their attempts to rub the glitter out. They did have to get antibiotic eye drops to prevent an from forming in their eyes.
"So, Bobby, you don't give off a glitter kind of person, so who was going to get that valentine you were working on?" Tracy asks as she, Medix, and Bobby head to the classroom for Earth's culture class.
"It was yours, who was going to get your special valentine," Bobby answers.
"You," Tracy answers blushing.
"Were you able to finish it?" Bobby asks.
"Yes, what about you?" Tracy asks.
"Can you go get them so that we can exchange cards too?" Whirl says as the group enters the room.
"Yeah, but before you do, why do humans celebrate Valentine's day?" Hoist asks.
"Why is giving someone a card part of the celebration?" Wedge adds.
"Some humans believe that Valentine's day is a day that honors how love conquers everything in the world. While others use this day to show appreciation to anyone in their life," Tracy says.
"According to what I read on the channel website, By the middle of the 18th, it was common for friends and lovers of all social classes to exchange small tokens of affection or handwritten notes," Bobby says.
"So, is Valentine's day also a day where humans tell one another that they might have feelings for someone?" Whirl asks.
"Well, they could, but there isn't a rule that says they have to," Tracy replies, blushing.
"But, some do use Valentine's day as the best time to drum up the courage to do it," Bobby adds, blushing as well.
"Aww, so, that would mean that the Valentine's you made of each other have something written in them telling the others that you think of the other as more than just best friend," Blades says as he enters the room hold Tracy and Bobby's valentines.
After the two take their respective card out of Blades' right hand, they take turns what each wrote on the inside.
"I know that what you two wrote was personal and everything, but what did Bobby write?" Hot Shot asks.
"Hot Shot," Heatwave snaps.
"It's okay, Heatwave," Tracy says.
Tracy, each year that goes by where we remain friends, I love you even more. No matter if we're one mile or 1,000 miles apart, each year of friendship keeps getting better and better. I hope I have proven myself to you the way you have proven yourself to me, even though you never even needed to—happy Valentine's Day to my future girlfriend, Tracy.
"Aw, that is so sweet," Tracy says as she kissed Bobby on the cheek, "You found this on the internet, right?" Tracy asks as she put the card back into the envelope.
"Yes, but I searched several websites to find the perfect one," Bobby replies, giving her a quick peck on the cheek.
"Bobby, what did Tracy's say?" Hotshot asks.
"Bobby, my feelings for you can't be extinguished. The sparks in my heart are in fuel, and I hope you feel the same way. Otherwise, I'm making a fool of myself in front of you. Happy Valentine's Day." Bobby says.
"I have one question, how long have you two had feelings for each other?" Blades asks.
"I started developing feelings for him when I was thirteen," Tracy adds.
"I did too," Bobby admits.
"So why did you two wait over five years, give or take, before talking to each other about your feelings," Ratchet asks.
"in our defense, we were teenagers, navigating middle and dealing with the stresses of puberty was tough enough," Bobby says.
"Plus, I was too afraid of messing up our friendship and the dynamics of our group if I told Bobby how I felt, so I did my best to ignore my feeling of affection," Tracy adds.
"Did Ashley ever pick up the face you two liked each other as more than friends?" Medix asks.
"Yes, but I made her promise not to tell Bobby," Tracy answers.
"At least now, our family will stop telling us we are a cute couple," Bobby adds.
"Wait, did your parents force you two into liking each other?" Wedge asks.
"No, Wedge, they just teased us by saying they could picture us at our wedding," Bobby says.
"Neither of us could picture it since they always said that while we little kids and believed that cooties were real," Tracy says.
Later that night, Tracy and Bobby are snuggled up on the couch watching TV.
"Tracy, I'm glad we waited until after graduation to admit our feelings for each other," Bobby says.
"Why is that?" Tracy asks.
"We didn't have a pressure to act like all those other couples in school," Bobby answers.
"Yeah, we'd be forced to kiss each other before going to class and share our lockers," Tracy adds.
"Right, was tough enough taking those AP classes," Bobby adds.
"Bobby, I'm glad we are a couple now. It helps in ways you can't imagine. Now, I don't have to worry about my anxiety as much as a did since I know you'll be there to help me when things get too overwhelming, and you'll always listen when I need someone to talk to," Tracy says as she snuggles closer into Bobby's chest before drifting off to sleep.
Bobby smiles as he tries his best to get in a comfortable position and avoid waking up his new girlfriend before he goes to sleep as well.
