-Underground fighting arena
-3rd pov
The crowd cheered on as the match began
Between the champion Baki Hanma (picture)
And the cord-cutter Koushou Shinogi (picture)
The fight begins as Baki jumped to deliver a flying sweep with his leg only for it to be blocked by Koushou using his hand drawing blood.
As Baki landed Koushou delivered a flying kick to the face barely giving Baki time to dodge.
But as Koushou landed blood began
spewing out from behind Baki's ear.
"It seems that you managed to avoid most of the damage from my kick with your reflexes alone your indeed impressive" Koushou said with a smile on his face.
"Now this time I will be taking the initiative" with that he charged at Baki with his two middle fingers directed towards his neck only to be surprised as Baki decked under his attack delivering a straight punch to his chest sending him flying to the edge of the arena.
And as the crowd roared with excitement Baki followed up with a flying knee to his face.
But as he was backing away he was caught off guard by Koushou counter-attack.
He shoved his fingers into Baki'S bicep and pulled out his nerve severing it with a clean cut.
A testament to his style cord-cutter being based on the principle of transforming his limbs into sharp weapons and his mastery over it.
-Jack's pov
As I was standing in the back of the crowd out of view I couldn't help but think about koushou's style after seeing it in action.
'Cord-cutter is quite the style from what I can see and remember it was a branch off from karate, other than that I can see some similarities between it and razer's edge' I think as I watch koushou deliver a flying kick.
'the application method is quite different though, cord-cutter works by minimising the area of contact thus increasing the pressure applied similar to how swords work'
'But razer's edge works by relying on superhuman pinch grip in tandem with acceleration to tear through flesh and steel alike'
'I guess in that sense cord-cutter is more like the kaiwan style that Kuroki Gensai uses (picture)'
'But then again the true difference between cord-cutter and razer's edge is one is the by-product of hard training and the other is of a natural born ability or in my case cheating' i think as I glanced at my skill panel
[Razer's edge lv 42]
Looking back at the fight they were in a heated exchange of blows as Baki managed to adapt to Koushou flow but as Baki started taunting Koushou he said.
"Baki Hanma I respect your prowess above all else boy with one arm you have done well to avoid me" he said laughing.
"for 12 years I have trained with my master doing push-ups and pull-ups until my fingers bleed and I spent 3 years after that perfecting my style.
the only thing pushing me was my desire to be strong" he said smiling as if remembering fond memories.
"But know you that you have proven yourself worthy, it's time to experience true pain" with that his smile turned blood thirty as his stance changed to that similar to a wild cat baring its claws.
I watch on with interest as Koushou starts attacking aggressively backing Baki into a corner multiple times.
Only for Baki to finally manage to counter by breaking his arm only for Koushou to laugh "yes Baki I knew you would do that" as he took the opening to sever the nerve to Baki's right eye.
'Ouch that got to have hurt a ton but that the fight over as far as I remember no point in watching any longer' i thought as I saw Baki graps Koushou's arm.
I turned around heading towards the hallway as I heard a thud signifying that Koushou lost as the crowd cheered Baki's name.
-3rd pov
As Jack was walking through the hallway he saw someone he didn't expect to meet for quite a while, Doppo Orochi (picture)
"ahh Jack san welcome to Japan I hope it is to your liking" Doppo said with a large grin on his face.
"Doppo Orochi to think that the great god of war knows my name I'm honored but I can't help but wonder why you are standing in the hallway so early after the match it wasn't boring to you now was it? Or have you run all the way here to meet me" Jack asked with a lazy smile on my face.
"Now now don't be so humble Jack san after all you have got quite the reputation for being damn near invincible after all" Doppo said with some merit in his voice.
Trying to ignore the fact that he got caught "as for the fight it is quite the opposite in fact it got my blood so boiling that as soon as i noticed you I had to come and see you and I must say the rumours don't do you justice"
"Thank you mister Orochi but I am afraid I got some business to attend to maybe another time" as Jack was saying that
Orochi proceed to deliver a flying kick to Jack's jaw "oh sorry Jack san it seems I got a bit too excited Orochi said looking cheapish but still maintaining his stance.
Only for Jack to give him a side glance as he smirked while continuing to walk away
-Doppo's pov
As i watched Jack walk away 'what the hell is that guy made out of' I couldn't help but think as i felt my foot ache from that kick
"Doppo.. Doppo there you are where did you go I turned around and you were gone" I turned to see Tokugawa and Katou (picture).
Coming my way "nothing was Just having a chat with someone" "wait are you talking about that big guy you were looking at during the fight" katou asked.
"Big guy? who are you talking about?" Tokugawa asked "it was Jack hammer"
"WHAT did you guys fight hi who won, how was he" as Tokugawa throw all his questions at me I said "he was quite friendly".
Thats chapter four done.
I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that i will be skipping mount toba since there isn't much i can add to it or a way i can avoid yujiro.
And if any of you are wondering I'm basing this of the manga since its easier for me to cross examine and faster, I may take some bits and pieces here and there from the anime since it will be better known but the majority will be from the manga
