-Jack's pov

It has been 4 weeks since the maximum tournament ended and i must say things have been looking up.

Me and Yuuri are know living together and I have to say I didn't realise how empty my house was until now.

Waking up beside her has become one of the things I look forward to every day, I was surprised to see that I didn't get stressed because I couldn't have my alone time like I first thought.

That was one of the reasons why I hesitated at first when It came to living together.

I have always been an introvert past life or present one so I was worried that I will scare her away If my social battery ran out around her and she saw me grumpy.

But to my surprise I found out that being around her doesn't drain my social battery like other people it's comfortable I can relax even with her right next to me.

I also found a couple of her quirks that I didn't know about for one she is a neat freak just in the first week she rearranged my whole kitchen with labels and special containers for everything.

Honestly watching her work is really damn satisfying it's like watching one of those quick reload videos from my past life all-over again.

She does have a hard time getting up in the morning though she really likes using my chest as a bed it feels like I have a cat especially with her pyjamas that have cat ears on them.

I ended uo taking multiple pictures of her sleeping in them for... research purposes that she cannot know about.

Right know me and her a just cuddling while watching a movie after a long day, I look down at her and see that she fell asleep so turn off the tv and start carrying her off to bed as she clings to me like a baby koala.

Smiling as I lay her on the bed and covered her I usually would join her but today I need to finish off my project.

This project was my way of keeping my loved ones safe knowing about those 6 coming soon

And the unexpected visitors the grandmaster which I found out was coming from my most recent hunt and "chats" with one of his men

I started installing and hacking into every camera in Tokyo and connecting them together to form a web it has take me along time and a decent amount of the XP I gained from hunting down the human trafficking Ring that was connected to the grandmaster.

My web is almost complete with only a few key areas that needed sensors installed as I cannot possibly have the whole of Tokyo covered in such a low amount of time.

I was currently heading to one of the parks as I need to cover the exits as I know that Spec and Hanayama fought in one.

Consider how loud most of the fights were I'm not worried that I will miss anything my main concern between all of them is the Grandmaster as I know that he Is coming to see what is causing problems around here i.e me.

I have also invested most of my stored XP into Increasing my strengths I increased my muscle and bone density even more to 3 times pushing my weight higher being 460kg(1014lbs) while also trying to perfect my mind scape so I can improve my techniques with more battles.

I also modified my tattoo so now it has the added effect of reducing my weight to 250kg(551lbs) without effecting my mass.

Besides that I spent some time with bonding with Baki as my mother went back to Canada 3 weeks ago after she made sure I was happy here and was actually building a life for my self.

we did have some family dinners before she left with me him and mom and from what I could tell he seemed quite happy even with all the teasing about him dating Kozue from mom and me.

he still owes me a dinner though but I'm letting him slide since I know that he mostly doesn't have much money outside of what Hitoshi is sending him every month. (Picture)

I was brought out of my thoughts as i felt someone's eyes on me causing me to stop.

-3rd pov

Jack stopped walking as he turned around to face the man who was approaching him as the man himself stopped a couple of feet away from him.

"You wouldn't be kind enough to tell me who sent you now would you" Jack said calmly as he looked at the man before him.

He stood around 186cm with black hair and eyes probably in his 30s he wasn't Asian based on his futures and he looked well trained from the way he carried himself and the amount of muscles visible through his his clothes a leather black jacket and jeans.

Seeing that the man hasn't answering him in the couple of seconds it took to look him over Jack sighed "hard way it is".

As soon as Jack said that the man pulled out a hand gun and shoot multiple bullets into his stomach.

If it wasn't for the silencer on the gun the entire neighbourhood would have woken up but the only sound that could be heard was of Jack hitting the floor.

The hitman came in closer and took a knee to check if Jack has a pulse only for his eyes to widened as Jack grabbed him by the face and lifted him up.

He quickly raised his hand to shoot Jack again only for Jack to grap the gun and crush it along with his hand with the only thing stopping the terrified man screams from coming out being Jack's hand around his mouth.

Seeing the look in the man's eyes Jack spoke "Seeing as you are almost crying from just that, why don't you tell me who sent now?"

(10 minutes later)

-Jack's pov

After storing the corpse in my inventory for now I wipe my hand with a cloth that I also put away in my inventory as to not leave any evidence behind as I already checked for cameras.

'That gave me quite the scare there I thought that the grandmaster was on to me turns out it was just Igrai being an idiot'

I let out a sigh turning my attention to my shirt seeing 6 holes in it 'what a waste of clothes.. but I guess that should teach me to have extras on me at all times but for know let's just head home.
