"Father-"
"Calm Thor, I am not about to throw her out." Odin raises his hand stopping the blonde from continuing, "In fact, I wish to thank you for all that you have done, whether you did it for Loki as your brother, or from the kindness of your heart. You deserve some thanks."
"I want for nothing Your Majesty, though I thank you for the offer. I just wanted my brother to be safe, and his well-being sound." Rachel says dipping her head.
"Be that as it may, I will not hinder you from coming to Asgard, or Loki or Thor going to Midgard. When you are in Asgard if for a long period of time you will have rooms here, in the same corridor as Thor and Loki."
"Father that is in the royals wing, guests are rarely permitted there," Thor states confused, as Loki hugs Rachel tight.
"It means he is giving Rachel trust," Loki says slightly dazed.
"Not just she, might I add, I expect the both of you to not abuse this privilege. While you are here Lady Stark you will want for nothing. And if I know my wife as I do, you will be practically adopted as it is, blood relations or not. If later on, you wish to pursue citizenship here in Asgard we shall talk then, for now. I give you leave to call me Odin, as I am sure my wife has given you leave to call her Frigga."
"Th-thank you Your Maj-Odin" Rachel blinks in surprise bowing her head as she was sitting down and could not curtsy, or even stand to try with how tightly Loki was clutching her, "Then please call me Rachel or Chele" Odin nods his head in acknowledgement.
"When the statements are given about the sentencing of Loki, it shall be added in of your placement." Odin states as Frigga rushes to her feet grabbing Rachel's hands and pulls her from Loki, who gave a startled noise.
"Oh, this is wonderful my dear! We will need to get you proper attire and decorate your room. Oh, we simply must have a feast and introduce you to the nobles! It will need to happen after we get you fitted, I see you are accustomed to trousers, which is fine, there are a few women who are, usually, they are warrior. I do believe it is a trend that should catch on, such movibility trousers give." Frigga hugs Rachel as though Odin just claimed her as a daughter anyways.
"This is rather generous, Father," Loki says sceptically, staring at Odin as though waiting for him to pull the rug from under them.
"My way of thanks for all that she has, and will likely do, and no reason to put her in an inn when she is likely to be here quite a bit for no other reason than to spend time in the Library with Loki, or being accosted by your mother." Thor snickers at that looking at the wide-eyed look Rachel is sporting as Frigga continues to talk. Time continues as the family, and Rachel, continue to talk Odin observing more than anything, as Thor and Loki begin to relax causing Rachel to relax. Yes, Odin saw many good things coming with Rachel's influence on his sons, both of them. Soon it was time for dinner and Odin stood, gathering the attention of the room, "It is growing late, and dinner is to be served soon. We should adjourn there." Their heads turn towards the window, showing the sky of the setting sun, "Tomorrow, the houses will convene to hear of what has gone on, and to hear the sentencing then a royal proclamation afterwards to the masses." Frigga stands, and the three 'children' stand.
"That sounds lovely dear, and he is right, go clean yourselves, show Rachel her rooms, there should be a change of clothing there, it won't be the best of fits but it will be clean," Frigga says smiling at her family, of which she gained a daughter who she will be able to dote on.
"Yes, Mother/Ma'am" The three answer, the two herd the woman between them towards the door, just before leaving Rachel turns and curtsies, though it was unneeded.
"Thank you again, for listening to us, and for the privileges you have given me." She tells the King and Queen before letting Loki usher her out the door, bowing slightly to his mother and father before leaving and closing the door behind him.
"So well mannered, how long do you think Thor will last with his Lady Jane, before realizing he is enamoured with Rachel?" Frigga asks her husband amused by it all.
"Hmm, the same amount of time it will take Loki to realize that Thor is enamoured with his sister," Odin says amusement lacing his voice, Figga laughs and moves to her husband, lacing her arm with his.
"Thank you, my love," Frigga says gently.
"I have done nothing more than what I should have aeons ago, and simply paid attention to both of my sons."
"Be that as it may, I can tell they brought Rachel in an effort to maybe circumvent a harsher punishment, and to get you to listen."
"True, and by the Njorns, it worked," Odin says dryly, causing Frigga to laugh and lean into her husband.
"We actually did it." The disbelief laced Rachel's tone as the three walked towards the royal living quarters.
"And Father-" Thor adds, though stops as though unsure whether or not to continue, though just as in as much disbelief as Rachel.
"We will be allowed to go to and fro without hindrance." Loki breaths, blinking as though in shock.
"I wish we could bring the Avengers here, Steve would lose his mind. Clint would be looking for the highest places to perch, like the bloody bird he is." Rachel muses out loud looking at the city which was visible from the huge windows that lined the wall as they walked.
"What of Tony?" Loki asks true curiosity laced his voice.
"Mm, Tony would likely be impressed by the gold, just because he loves the colour, but he'd go insane quickly due to the lack of Midgard technology. No cellphones, no computers, no Jarvis. Bruce would be interested in how magic and Technology seem to be one and the same, and if it can tell what truly happened when the Hulk was created. Natasha would be challenging the warriors to fights, and to be taught all sorts of fighting styles." Rachel answers, adding the other Avengers in knowing Thor and Loki didn't really have a good hand on what their personalities.
"And you?" Thor asks as they turn a corner.
"Me? As a scientist, I am interested in the technology, and how things are looked at here as it seems to be a blend of what Midgard would say is old, and new all at the same time. But the academic in me is also begging to go sleep in the library for a few years." Rachel scoffs, rolling her eyes at her own thoughts on herself, "Not to mention wanting to learn the fighting styles myself, while expanding my knowledge in Magic to hopefully get it to be on par with Loki." Thor hums acknowledging the likeliness and truth behind her statements.
"You were getting quite good whilst in London, Sister." Pointing out as they stop before a set of double doors, "This room was made incase Mother was able to bear more children, I think she wanted more than just Thor and I, a girl specifically."
"I saved her nine months of pregnancy and many hours of labour, not to mention the months it would take to get rid of the baby fat. Let's add on the baby years and the teenage rebellion." Rachel comments dryly, neither of the men comment, though she could feel Loki rolling his eyes. They stare at the doors for a few minutes, in silence, while Rachel bites the corner of her bottom lip nervous for some reason.
"Rachel?" Thor asks, jarring the girl from her thoughts, she looks up at him as though she were lost and he just found her.
"Hm? Oh sorry." She shakes her head and reaches for the door.
"It's ok to not want to be adopted by Frigga," Loki says in a low voice, just loud enough that the two could hear him.
"I-it's not that, I promise," She looks to her brother, "It's more of, I didn't think we'd get this far, you're going free, though not sure what Fury is going to do, and Odin plans on playing advocate there. And then Frigga basically intagrates me into the royal family, which I'm ok with, but I figured I was going to be kicked out from Asgard quite a few times, or imprisoned cause I was trying to break you out. But here I am with my own quarters in the Royal wing, with Frigga planning on showering me with everything and being able to come and go as I please so I don't have to leave Tony. Plus both of you can come back to Midgard with me so all three of us can be, quote-unquote, normal. I just, it seems too easy, it went without a hitch, there has to be a catch, something has to go wrong. Nothing in life works this smoothly!" Rachel turns her back to the door so she can look at both Thor and Loki, of which they were looking as worried as she sounded.
"While your worries are founded Rachel, let us not take it for granted, and while we can enjoy it-" Thor states, his blue eyes sad, but understanding of her fears.
"And when the catch comes, we will take it as well as we can, and roll with the punches." Loki finishes Thor's statement grabbing Rachel's hand with a sad smile.
"How is the uncertainty of it not driving you both up a wall?!" Rachel exclaims looking from Thor to Loki and back again, the two look at each other and shrug, causing Rachel to groan and let her head hit the door with a small thud.
"Rachel we are also far older than you-"
"Do not bring age into the Loki, you and I both know age has nothing to do with it." Rachel cuts a glare to her brother, who huffs through his nose and glares right back.
"Except it does, at least in this part. Thor and I are a lot more accustomed to talking down from our parents, and Mother's way of always wanting to baby." Loki shrugs at that point, "While I am sure you are worried more about what Fury will try and enforce, or accidentally angering someone in the Court, or a dignitarian from another Realm, or a sudden barment from Asgard-"
"O.K! Stop, I wasn't but I am now!" Rachel cuts Loki off, her glare going from one mostly filled with playfulness to one that clearly stated if he didn't shut up then she'd hurt him, "My worries more aligned with if Odin decided to punish you, reneging on his statement of, quote-unquote, forgiveness of the whole situation! But now! I am not made to be around Royalty." Rachel's eyes grow wide at her last statement, "Oh G-ds what if in the celebration that you two are brack they plan on bringing in other Realms, I am going to be introduced as a new member of the Royal family."
"Rachel Marie!" Thor's voice booms through the hallway, gathering the sparse guard's attention, at which Loki waves them away. Rachel's quick thinking brain comes to a stuttering halt as she looks at Thor wide-eyed, only for it to narrow.
"I did not tell you my full name so it could be used against me."
"No I am sure you did not, but I needed to gather your attention. While yes, when on Asgard you are bound to meet dignitaries from other Realms, you will be in constant company of either myself, Loki, or our mother. All of whom understand that while you are well versed in etiquette you were not raised with the knowledge in how to navigate your way through a conversation they would be expecting. While they do not expect a fully intelligent conversation that does not account to fights from myself, Loki and Mother, on the other hand, are well versed in the political side of gatherings, so worry not. And if at any point that you grow tired of it all, you are able to retire. While it may garner attention Mother and Loki will be able to talk their way through it. In that, I am sure both would be happy to set aside time for lessons to help acclimate yourself to Asgard Royalty." Thor states calmly talking Rachel's overactive mind into a calmer state, the whole time Loki looks at his brother in a new light, "Now Mother and Father may start wondering where we are as I am sure they are already in the dining hall, go change wash your face and take a few deep breaths to calm yourself. In that time Loki and I should be finished and will come collect you, alright?"
"Yeah, alright." Rachel states as the doors open behind her, a squeak of surprise as she was leaning on the door and started to fall before Loki, using the fact that he hadn't let go of her hand, pulled her towards him saved her from landing on the floor. Three pairs of eyes fly to who had opened the door, only to see a bashful servant.
"I apologize, M'Lords, M'Lady. I was told to come here and wait for Lady Stark to help her get ready for dinner, I did not mean to overhear." The servant curtsies, not meeting their eyes, fearful of what was to happen to her.
"Mother sent you I presume?" Loki asks, almost coldly, his head inclining a little in disdain that the servant was there.
"Yes, M'Lord." Rachel elbows Loki in the stomach hard before moving towards the door and the servant, who flinches a little.
"Don't worry..um? What may I call you?" Rachel says kindly, her tone almost a complete opposite of Loki's.
"Oh, Kasperie M'Lady." The servant, Kasperie, curtsies again.
"Oh-kay, Kasperie, don't worry. It was our own fault for having this conversation in the middle of the hall, um corridor. I suppose you've been assigned to help me specifically, over others?"
"Yes, Ma'am."
"Perfect, I am glad to have someone help me into the clothing. And please call me Rachel or even Chele, I'm not exactly used to the honorifics," Rachel turns back to her brother and Thor, with a small smile, "I am sure with Kasperie here I'll be fine getting ready, I'll see you both in a few moments?"
"She should be-"
"Thanked for coming forward when no one expected her to and tell the truth about the situation, you are right Loki, how nice of you to point out," Rachel says, cutting him off with a glare. Loki looks angry for a second before nodding with a sigh, mumbling out a thank you to Kasperie he turns on his heel and enters the double doors that are straight across from Rachel's, that she hadn't taken notice of before.
"Rachel is right, thank you for being noble enough to step forward Kasperie," Thor states warmly, his eyes dancing with laughter at Loki being scolded by Rachel, nodding his head to both women he also turns and goes down the hall to his own rooms.
"Well, shall we?" Rachel turns back to the girl in the doorway with a smile. Kasperie quickly moves from the door, opening it more letting Rachel entry. Though mostly bare the room was grand, straight ahead of her a wall of windows each with their own heavy red curtains. The bed draped in red against the left wall near the centre on a three-step dais with a nightstand on either side of it, the four-poster bed looking rather comfortable to the emotionally exhausted Rachel. Turning her attention away from the bed she takes in the rest of the room, a vanity almost straight across from the bed with what looked to be some makeup, and a hairbrush on it already and a straight-backed chair before it, a full-length mirror off to the left, while a closed door to the right of it. Taking a look on either side of the double doors she just entered were two huge wardrobes, probably empty ready to be filled with clothing in Rachel's size, the whole room golden with accents of red everywhere. To most, and even to Rachel who prefers darker colours, it would be a garish sight, and while it did hurt her eyes a little, it also made her think of Tony which was also a comfort in the whole ordeal. Rachel walks through the wide-open area, with a red rug under her feet, that stood between the bed and vanity.
"Are you ready to change M'L-um, Rachel?" Kasperie asks, pulling Rachel from her taking in the room.
"Right, dresses, fun." Rachel sighs to herself sending a sheepish smile to the servant, "I first want to thank you, not only for stepping forward to admit you had accidentally eavesdropped, but also helping me in all of this, I would have probably just washed my hands and put on the dress before waiting for Loki or Thor to escort me to the dining hall."
"Oh no thanks necessary Ma'am," Rachel gives her a quick glance, "Um, Rachel." Kasperie gives her a hesitant smile.
"Right, so where to start?" Rachel looks to the girl expectantly.
"First we will do makeup and hair. Though little will need to be done for your makeup, as you are already wearing, it is generally only married women who wear their hair down," Rachel pats her head, bringing a strand of black hair forward so she can look at it, "Though we don't have to do anything with it, it would make it easier to eat some of the courses."
"No, no, don't worry Kassie. I'm putting my look in your hands, as I am sure you are capable." Rachel smiles at the girl and goes towards the vanity.
"Kassie, M'L-Rachel?" Kasperie stutters a little, following the woman.
"Oh! I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend if I did, it's a nickname, a show that we're friends," Rachel states turning to look at the girl, who now closer than she had been before looked to be about the same height as her, "I can not call you that if you'd prefer." Rachel's eyebrows furrow worried she had offended the other girl.
"Friends? You wish to befriend me? A servant?" Kasperie looks a little startled, her brown eyes, which Rachel was able to finally see due to their closeness and the girl raising her head enough.
"Of course! Why wouldn't I? Not only do you know all the ins and outs of the palace, but you are also about as normal as it gets for me from my own Realm. A working woman trying to get through the day without making anyone angry. Plus you seem rather nice, and honesty is always an amazing quality, specially since you are going to be helping me with my fashion sense." Rachel rambles a little, looking at the girl earnestly, "Besides you look to be close to my age, and while I am sure there are plenty of wonderful people in the court I am bound to be introduced to, it will be nice to have someone my age to talk with as well."
"I would be honoured." Kasperie breathes out, relief lacing her tone as some of the tension leaves her body, as a servant one was never sure what type of master or mistress they'd end up serving.
"Really?!" Rachel's face lights up, and when the other girl nods it breaks into a smile, though she holds herself back from grabbing the other girl in a hug as she wanted, "Oh that is such a relief! I was hoping, but wasn't sure! And as friends, I have to insist you call me Chele then. Rachel is so stuck up, if you ask me, I'm still trying to get Thor and Loki to realise this." Rachel rolls her eyes and waves her hand at the door as if the men were outside it, Kasperie smiles and gives a small giggle before guiding Rachel back to the vanity.
"Men are known to be thick here, most of them warriors and taken a few too many hits to the head," She states as she leans over Rachel's side and picking up the brush, before gliding it through the girl's hair.
"But at least they are chivalrous, something that has fallen from practice on Midgard. Most guys think women will fall over themselves if they walk up and act like utter pigs!" Kasperie looks at Rachel in horror from the mirror.
"You jest, surely?" Rachel shakes her head a little, careful to not interrupt Kasperie's hands.
"I only wish! Where it use to be guys would come to the door, and meet the parents of their date, now they sit in their vehicles," Catching Kasperie's confused look Rachel changes her term, "Um, automated mounts, Midgard no longer uses horses, they either make noises to let their date know they are there or send an instant message telling them they've arrived. Not getting out of the mount and helping them in, or on."
"Oh my!" Though still confused she understood a little of what Rachel was saying.
"I know it sounds confusing if you'd like during dinner I have something from Midgard you can look at and play with." Rachel offers as Kasperie puts a few more pins in her hair.
"Oh do not worry M-Chele, I would be scared to break it." She waves away the offer with a quick shake of her head.
"Don't worry about breaking it, I helped invent it and came up with many possible ways it could be destroyed and put in some safety measures. Besides, it will give you a look on what I mean, once I can get communication set up between Asgard and Midgard where I can use all forms of abilities it gives it will be even easier to explain." Rachel reaches into her pocket trying to stay still and holds her Stark phone out for Kasperie to see.
"What on Asgard is that?" Kasperie questions, as Rachel tries to hold in her laughter as the common Earth exclamation.
"This is a Stark Phone, think of it like a messenger that delivers messages instantly, it can also connect you via voice with someone so you can have an in real-time chat without having to be right next to them."
"And you helped invent that?" She asks Rachel nods smirking to the girl using the mirror to make sure she could see it.
"I help invent the device itself, so people wouldn't have to use wires that are running through the ground on Midgard, these are able to be used on the go. While the phones that connect to the wires are stationary, and can't be moved."
"That's amazing! Can it do anything else?"
"Yes, but it's a bit more difficult to explain, and would take longer than dinner to try and explain it properly." Kasperie nods placing one last pin in Rachel's hair, "I will gladly explain other features to you when we have more time if you want Kassie."
"I think I would like that." The girl smiles at Rachel before looking at her face critically to make sure no touch-ups to the woman's makeup was needed. Nodding once Kasperie nudges Rachel to stand as she turns to the closest wardrobe, "Her Highness had me bring some old gowns she had, for you to use until a seamstress could be brought in. I think to complement your eyes a soft red with some light green accents would be perfect, I saw one I believe. If you would go ahead and remove your Midgardian wear."
"Um, including my underthings?" Rachel asks as Kasperie opens the wardrobe and starts to look at the dresses.
"Yes please, we will be putting you in a light corset." Rachel blanches at the thought but does as she is told, "While I am looking for the dress, why don't you go wash your hands as you had planned before."
"Right," Rachel says uncertainty weaving its way through the word.
"It'd the door beside the vanity."
"Thank you." Rachel scampers into the bathroom without removing her clothes noticing the basin with a stopper in it and a pitcher of water next to it, she pours some of the pitch into the basin and washes her hands before looking up into the mirror in front of the sink, turning her head this way and that taking in the elegant braid and curls Kasperie did, not a wisp out of place and how the woman was able to do it without any hairspray Rachel could never guess.
"Are you ready Chele? I found the dress." Kasperie states through the door.
"Oh yes, coming!" Rachel replies slips off her shoes before shimming her way out of her pants, and shirt on her way to the door, opening it before reaching behind her and undoing her bra, "Where should I place my clothes that I will want back at some point."
"On the chair," Kasperie states, amusement dancing in her tone and eyes, knowing why Rachel had said that, considering Kasperie was planning on getting rid of them. Rachel places her clothing on the seat of the chair, crossing her arms over her chest since her clothes weren't handing her breast anymore, "You will need to place your hands down so we can get you into the corset Chele." More laughter being withheld as Rachel blushes brightly refusing to look at the other girl, "There is an undershirt for you to wear so the corset will not pinch the skin."
"Why didn't you start with that Kassie!" Rachel exclaims finally looking at the other girl, who was doing a valiant job as holding in her laughter, Rachel holds out her hand for the undershirt, which was more like a nightgown than a shirt, moving away from the vanity and full-length mirror Rachel turns and quickly slips into the silky smooth underlayer.
"What were those odd things you are wearing under the slip?" Kasperie asks moving towards Rachel with the loosened corset to slip on over the woman's head.
"They're called underwear, or panties. It's just another layer for women to try and help maintain dignity. I think I'm not actually sure, I know it use to be that they were knee-length trousers, then known as pantaloons, or longer. As time went on they got smaller and smaller, these are actually known to be used by older generations, while most women our age wear a thing called a 'thong', which covers nothing, and is basically a string going between your legs. Rather uncomfortable, but guys tend to find it 'sexy' and thanks to the misogynist look upon women, which I am sure is kind of continued here as things seem to be here, women tend to do things to make guys find them more desirable. Basically a piece of meat they get to look and touch as they like, but I am going to stop there before I end up on a tirade on how women are treated." Rachel scowls at the end as Kasperie starts to tighten the strands.
"What you seem to think is rather forward-thinking here, and while women tend to be looked at like the weaker, there are some women who challenge that notion, like Lady Sif."
"Sif?" Rachel thinks a moment going through her Norse knowledge, "Isn't she known as the Goddess of War? And the main suitor for Thor, though he sees her as nothing more than a comrade, a sister in arms?"
"Goddess?"
"Oh yes, on Midgard a lot of the big names here on Asgard, like the King and Queen, Thor and Loki, even Sif and the Warrior Three, are known as Gods and Goddesses. I think all of those on Asgard are known as Gods if for no other reason that you have a longer life expectancy than mortals on Midgard, who live up to around 100 years if they take care of their body properly."
"So, Asgard is?"
"To most, well was until recently, a Myth. The last time anyone from Asgard came to Earth was over a thousand years ago. With humans not living that long, and stories given by mouth can change over time, and no contact had been made in that time, Asgard and it's residents, as well as the Nine Realms have been reduced to nothing but stories, and Mythology. Tings studied, and speculated, but never given definitive answers. People came to think of Asgardians as Gods and Goddesses as they are able to do things humans can't. Like Loki and his magic, or Thor with Mjolnir."
"You said until recently?" Kasperie ties off the ends of the corset and goes over to the dress.
"Well until Thor showed up in New Mexico yes, and then again when Loki popped up in Germany, then New York. All of a sudden the mythology of the Norse Pantheon is being questioned, and if one is around, then what of the others. I wonder if I can get Loki and Thor to sit down with me and tell me which stories are correct or not."
"What do you exactly mean by mythology?" She asks while slipping the dress over Rachel's head and helping her get her arms through.
"Mm, legends would be the best word, stories that have been passed down, and though twisted slightly through each retelling, I am sure some of them ring at least mostly true." Kasperie buttons up the back of the dress before going back to Rachel's front and settling the dress properly.
"If the legends are anything of which we have here, I am sure some of them will have falsehood as well as ringing truths." Rachel hums and nods, before looking around for shoes.
"Um, Kassie, what am I supposed to wear on my feet?" She looks up in time to see Kasperie hold up some golden flat sandals, "Makes sense." Kassie points to the bed for Rachel to sit since her Midgard clothes were on the chair. Sitting down on the edge of the bed Rachel sinks into it a little, "Oh goodness, are you sure I have to go to dinner, this feels heavenly." Rachel sighs wistfully running her left hand over the bedspread.
"I am afraid so M'L-Chele." Kasperie chuckles as she buckles the shoes. Standing up and backing away motioning for Rachel to stand and go before the mirror the girl smiles. Though not born to royalty Rachel still somehow glides down the three small steps as though she were, "You have the grace of a royal Chele."
"Oh, I took lessons in fighting and dance back on Midgard. And grace is one thing they all require to have, well that and balance." Rachel smiles sweetly at Kasperie before looking at herself, a small gasp leaves her as she takes a good look at the dress, "Oh my! I would rather go to dinner my clothing! Oh, now I'm going to be worried all night that I'm going to ruin the dress! Why ever would Frigga lend me something this splendid!" Rachel runs her hands over the smooth material, something Rachel had never felt in her life, almost a mixture of velvet and silk an odd combination, but somehow the perfect blend.
"I am sure the Queen would have you dress nothing less a princess here on Asgard." Kasperie nods one in finality as though she had a say in it.
"Oh wait until Tony hears this one. Ugh, Clint will never let the 'Princess' nickname go now." Rachel mutters to herself, knowing Kasperie will hear it.
"Tony? Clint? Suitors of yours Chele?" The woman asks as she moves next to Rachel giving her a side glance from the mirror.
"Oh ew no!" Rachel's nose wrinkles as her face pull as if smelling something foul, "Tony is my adopted brother, he's eleven years older than I am, practically raised me after our parents died. And Clint is a brother in arms, and I am pretty sure has eyes for Natasha, who is a sister in arms." Kasperie's face falls a little disappointed at not getting any juicy gossip, Rachel smiles and shakes her head, "There are no suitors for little ol' me, which is fine, I have part of a company to run, as well as my academics, I don't need a man or woman for that matter."
"Women?!" Kasperie turns startled looking at Rachel wide-eyed.
"Yes women, I am bi-sexual, which means I will happily date either gender, male or female. While something that isn't exactly accepted, it is something that is slowly becoming part of the normal on Midgard, along with men dating men, or women dating women. I've even heard of a few relationships that are more than just two people, rather interesting that one is." Rachel eyes the other girl critically, "You don't have anything wrong with that do you? I mean it wouldn't ruin our friendship, I would keep from talking about it with you though."
"It caught me by surprise, there are a few relationships that are with the same gender, but not something that is really looked highly on as people are expected to carry on the bloodline." Kasperie shakes her head and shrugs.
"Sounds about the same as on Midgard, our parents never really pressured Tony about it, and in turn, he never pressured me about it. And I know my brother has had relations with both male and female. And there is lore about Loki changing genders as he pleases as well, one-story actually states while Loki was able to change genders, he had Thor dress as a female and flirted with someone." Kasperie begins to laugh and nod.
"Oh yes, one of the elder maids told me about that! I do not know all the details, though I am sure you can get them from Prince Loki, he is probably rather proud of that."
"Oh, I'm sure he is!" Rachel starts to laugh with the other girl when a knock sounds on the double doors.
"Rachel?" Loki's voice sounds through, as Rachel gives the door an amused look.
"Speak of the devil, and he shall appear. I'm decent Loki, come on in."
"I'm sorry?" Kasperie asks confused.
"It's a Midgardian saying, basically it means if you mention someone they are likely to show up. Though it was made when a religion about one God was made, called Christianity, and the opposition of God is the Devil. So it use to be, if you speak of the Devil, he will appear to tempt you to evil. Now it's more of a joke about someone showing up after a conversation about them." Kasperie nods in understanding as Loki enters slowly.
"Of course you'd end up in red." Loki states rolling his eyes, Rachel gives him a playful glare as she smooths her hands down the gown.
"Red brings out green eyes, you'd know that if you wore it, could you imagine the people you could make swoon with your eyes that way?" Loki rolls his eyes again as he makes his way next to Rachel.
"I was more of meaning red is a colour that is associated with Thor than anything Sister." Rachel gives him a dry look humming slightly before turning to Kasperie with a smile.
"Thank you so much, Kassie, for your help, I left my phone on the vanity if you end up wanting to use it. To turn the screen on all you have to do is tap it twice, the code is thirteen twenty-two. That will bring you to the home screen, from there you can click on anything. And don't worry about breaking it, Thor could use it just fine, so I'm sure nothing you do to it will do any damage."
"Why are you comparing her to the Oaf?" Loki asks curiosity plain in his voice.
"Thor is like a bull in a china shop or a toddler with electronics. He tends to break anything that isn't the toaster to heat his pop-tarts." Loki snorts amused, as the conversation goes over Kasperie's head, "I'll have to bring you to Midgard one-day Kasperie, if for no other reason than to give you a demonstration of what I mean." Rachel places her hand on Kasperie's lower arm and gives it a light squeeze, the girl smiles brightly and nods her head, before curtsying to Loki, grabbing Rachel's Midgard clothing and leaving the room.
"I will bring back your Midgard clothing after washing it Chele." The girl states before heading down the hall, just as Thor stops at Rachel's open door.
"Thank you, Kassie!" Rachel exclaims in relief as Loki and she heads towards the door as well.
