This place...

I've been here before...

At least... It seems...

I'm all here...

Sora, our beloved protagonist, wakes inside his deep slumber.

What Sora sees is an immaterial world, where a liquid surface that resembles the ocean divides the sky, covered by clouds and starfields, from it's mirror projection. Both seemed to reach the infinite by the human eye's perspective. Wondering if that's a side effect of the previously mentioned moments that happened as suddenly as he stepped inside the mysterious capital, where his friend, Riku, happened to be there as well. Sora touched his hands to check if the reality that surrounded his was real. 'Was or wasn't?', those where the words inside Sora's mind. Sora deduced he was, indeed, real, but that place... Was a rather familiar and odd place. He them looks further at where he is currently located, to relief such uncanny discomfort.

"(Althought my memory ain't in a good shape, it seems I've been here before...)"

Sora still remembers this is his second visit to that place. His first time, this place he's now standing had a shining daylight bestowed the place. Now that's nighttime, it all seemed different. It was like all that remained after darkness engulfed the place was silence. The only sounds Sora could hear were the water surface whose feet stepped in, and the blood circulating inside his body.

"Hey! Is there anyone out there?"

Sora shouted, but there were no answers. Nothing. Just the silence who were broken by the only voice Sora heard... His own.

"Heey!"

Indeed. I shouted – two times in a row – and no one answered, so I did it again. Seven shouts, one louder than the previous one, and there's still no response. The only voices I can hear are the echoes of my inner thoughts, thought I recall there was someone, but strangely, I couldn't see... Whatever was it. Forget it. I'll do the shouting again.

"Hellooo!..." As I expected, no answ-

"Hey!"

Uh? Did I heard someone reply? I'm sure I heard an answer. Or maybe it was just an echo... I guess there won't be any problem if I ask...

"W-Who's there?" I asked. It took some time for they answer came to my ears.

"...Where are you?" I heard it once again. That ain't my voice... It must be someone else!

"Over here!"

Sora ran over the water surface, wondering if that voice he heard were from someone else. His expectations were high.

"Stop. I see you."

From a small distance, Sora saw the one whose voice were coming from. It was a boy, a teenager, seemingly as younger as Sora himself. But his gray hair and outfits wore in black distinguished Sora from him. When the moon shone up the sky, both his eyes glowed like two juxtaposed gemstones. One was blue as a lapis-lazuli; and the other, red as a cinnabarite.

"Hey, aren't you-" That face... That composture... It looked rather, uh... It was as if I've saw him somewhere before.

"...You... You do know me?"

He asked. Of course I knew him. I saw him in a place before. Not a real place, but inside that place. I believe I saw it, but I just can't remember exacltly how. Something tells me I'm supposed to be there, to meet this guy. His name, Yozora.

"You... You're Yozora, right?" I asked.

"How did you knew my name is Yozora!? W-Who are you?"

"Me!? I'm...Sora." I said. Yozora stood quiet for a moment. Then, his lips were unsealed.

"Sora..."

"Yes?"

When I asked, Yozora glared at me. Like a father figure, his eye stood upon my soul.

"No, you aren't Sora."

"What?" What did he said? Ain't I Sora?

"Fool! Why are you using Sora's name?"

"Uh... Because... I am Sora (Am I?)"

"Really? Are you the main character of a story called Kingdom Hearts?"

"Well, I guess so..."

"If you are who you saw you are, and if was Fate who brought us here, then there's something I need to tell you first, before-"

"Before what?"

"Shut up and listen to me, kid."

When Yozora shouted, Sora stood on its defensive stance, by unconsciously relaxing his legs and feet, allowing him to avoid some sort of attack coming from any direction. That Yozora seemed more than a threat than a potential ally. Sora saw his expressions, the same did Yozora. A fight where about to start, when...

"Listen. Your body has been damaged recently..."

"(I'll ignored his words. They are meaningless at the presage of a fight.)"

"Sora?"

"? (I heard another voice, coming from behind Yozora's. This time, it sounded familiar. Unlike Yozora, it was a female voice. The owner of this voice appeared before I. It can't be...)"

"...because he's a kind soul..."

"(K-Kairi?)" I saw what it looked like Kairi's figure for a lapse of instant.

"...you and your friend are in a hospital, awaiting in the ICU..."

"Kairi! How... How could you... Oh, Kairi... What have I done for your sake? The power of waking... Did I?"

"Hm? What's up, Sora? You let down your defense."

Yozora was right, but I couldn't agree that Kairi was there, next to him. Did he noticed it as well? Or it was just me? Kairi. There was no reflection of her self in clear water, unlike the glance of mine and Yozora's. Her clothes vanished like powder, as the water below us dissolved them. Before I could even blink, 'Kairi' then ran in my direction and-

"GWAAAAaaaahhhh!"

I screamed. At least, I thought I did. For a second, I felt nothing, like a sea in lull. Then, a later interval of less than a second, me and the structures of the world collapsed. My head ached, my lungs stopped breathing, my veins were about to explode. My heart pounded on a peerless speed that I couldn't take it. Thus I felt on the water surface, in agony, like a slow death from a kinky neck. Yozora frowned and gazed upon my pain. He seemed so dissapointed, and so confident at the same time.

"How utterly dissapointing. As I thought... You're not Sora! You're... Y-You're... YOU'RE NOT SORA ANYMORE!"

"K-Kairi... Kairi's inside me (again)?"

"Release it, at once!" Yozora shouted. His words were louder than the silence from before. What did he meant? Release it? How?

"I... I..."

"Enough! If you can't release her for good, then I shall do it on my way..."

A crossbow materialized into Yozora's left hand. At first sight, it looked like a gun, a weapon Sora never saw in his life, before it turned into a crossbow. The place where Sora was before changed. Instead of a dreamy view, all he saw was the view of a city, atop a building company. That city was the same he saw a few moments before that incident.

"I went to this same place you're standing. I went throught some trials, to prove I was worth of saving you. 'Save Sora'. 'A' is 'A', and 'Sora' is 'Sora'. No matter which reality those 'Soras' belongs, they share the same attribute in common." Yozora pointed his crossbow right throught my chest. A sword with a unique design came into his right hand. Like his crossbow, it shared an unique design. "I shall purify your heart before it overcomes you, Sora. That's my task to be fullfilled."

"This it... Wait. What do you mean, Yozora?"

"Even dogs can wait, Sora. Now it's time. To end this."

I brought my keyblade. The same for my defensive stance. Yozora stood there, carefully watching me. As if his eyes were able to penetrate throught my skin. He then shooted a flare of light, coming from its bow. I avoided them with my keyblade, as they dissipated on thin air.

Later, as our swords clashed, for some unknown reason, Yozora dissapeared, and I couldn't move. My legs can't move, nor my arms. I felt like a stone. I felt a little dazzed. Fragments of a memory that didn't belonged to me appeared right in my eyes. The cry of a girl, heartless pursuing her, the gates of a castle... I stood there, unable to move, when a figure with white hair's hand came next to me, for a short moment, before a flare of light crossed throught my heart. I layed down on the floor, but I didn't felt the fall. Was the battle... Over already?

It was Yozora. He caught me unfocused. Was it his hidden ability, althought he never mentioned it to me in a foreshadowing way? This wasn't the first time my memories were messed up, but as far to mess up with someone else memories and channel them into me is far from beyond my comprehensiom.

"Check. Mate. You didn't even sacrificed your bishops, did you? I'm more dissapointed than yours, Sora. I expected more of you. You said to me you were powerful, but that's all your skin could tell me. I forgot to analyze your soul. You just keep commiting the same mistakes, as a roundabout spins to form a circle of deception you can't even notice, you foolish idiot. All the way you go happy-lucky, with his dumb smile of yours... But that's you, Sora. And we need you..."

So his hidden ability is to analyze its target. If that had something to do with messing up my memories, then this battle ain't over.

I couldn't move. Then, his sharp blade made a cut throught my skin.

"Is that... Blood?"

"Hm... You do bleed, and my blade's not even sharp. Don't worry. Did you felt something?"

"No... Wait! I appreciate your skills, Yozora... But as far to mess up with someone's memories?"

"What... Did you said?" Even Yozora was surprised. "Nevermind. Allow me to purify your heart... At once."

"Why? Is that the it about to overcome me? I want to know."

"This ain't a concern of ours." Yozora said, as if he needed to do something in a rush. "Quick, let me-"

"I want to know, Yozora! I'm so tired of living with unanswered questions. Heck, I don't even know who are my parents. Say at once, what is that thing about t-"

Sora's lips were sealed. He went into an innert state. His body were being slowly crystalized as soon as he started floating above that ciy. Yozora couldn't do anything, except look.

"No... Too late. How foolish was I!"

"W-w-hat-"

"I can't let your body overcome you. I'll save you."

Or, maybe, Yozora's head split into two and half of it ran away. The other half came next to crystal clear Sora and...

"OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU! OKIRU!..."

"...aaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

Sora's crystal shattered into pieces. Like rain pouring down, he scaterred on the ground. Everything was black, at first glance, until Sora opened his eyes. Slightly, he let light penetrate his retina.

It was all but a weird dream...

But... It felt so real...

I can still feel it. My body...

My body ain't obeying me...

Anymore...
