'You can't do this! We've been serving your family for over 3 generations!' A man said.
'I don't care, your family.. you, your SON have done nothing short of start chaos in this house. Breaking vases, flooding bathrooms, destroying furniture. That son of yours is a menace. He nearly drowned my daughter-'
'With all due respect Mr. Heartifila, it was YOUR daughter who did all those destructive things. As for the drowing, Akio lost control of his magic. He's been working every day to gain control over the it. Lucy however is constantly falling into or on everything. Running carelessly through the corridors. Akio has been nothing but responsible and because he cares for the girl he always takes the blame!'
'How dare you blame MY daughter, for the mistakes of your lowly son. Get out! Get out now!' Lucy's Dad yelled.
'With pleasure you incorrigible, rude, bastard.' Akio's father retorted turning to leave.
'Shhh don't move so much' a small voice said.
'Ouch you're on my foot ' another voice said.
Little Lucy Heartfilia was crammed, with her best friend Akio, into her fathers curio cabinet inside his office. They had ran to hide when she and him had heard her father yelling that Akio's dad be brought to him. In order to avoid more trouble Akio thought it best to hide before anyone caught them playing again.
'I can't see Akio, what's happening..' she asked.
'Our fathers are arguing. I think Mr. Heartfilia is sending us away Lucy.' Akio said frowning.
"What, but I don't want you to leave..." Lucy said sniffling.
Despite their age, Akio being only a couple years older, understood precisely what was happening. He had gotten his father fired and now is being thrown out.
'It's a miracle Layla could stand you as long as she did...' Akio's father said as walked out the door. Jude Heartfilia, Lucy's father, sprang from his seat and rushed over to the man grabbing him by the collar.
' What the fuck did you just say about my wife? ' he demanded.
'Nothing I just said it's a wonder Layla lived as long as she did with you, You heartless bastard. You have no love in you. Look at how you've treated your daughter. ' Akio's father said.
Lucy's fathers face went white, then a scowl formed as he balled his fists. A loud cry was heard from Akio's father. Jude's fists began an all out assault on him, landing strong blows all over his torso. Watching his father suffer a gruesome beating, Akio reached down and covered Lucy's ears when he felt his friend grab his hand and begin to cry.
'It's okay Lulu-chan' he said to reassure her in the hopes it would reassure him as well.
'Akio what's going on Akio.. why is you daddy screaming? Oww" Lucy said stumbling causing the doors to burst open and reveal the two.
'Akio...' his father said coughing up blood as his breathes we're labored.
'Lucy...' Jude said hiding his fist behind his back scowling at his daughter. She flinched.
'Daddy... what are you doing...' Lucy said horrified looking at the man bloodied before her.
'Akio, take your father and leave this place at once. Remember this.. don't you ever come here or around my daughter again. Count it mercy I've let your father live...' Jude said picking Lucy up and exiting the room.
'Akio!' She cried but disappeared with her father.
'Otosan...'. He said quietly as tears filled his eyes.
"It's okay...Akio...' his father said in a shaky pained breathe. ' I'm alright..' he said collapsing to the floor .
'Otosan! Otosan!' Akio yelled as panic took hold shaking his father trying to wake him. When that proved fruitless, he knew he had to move his father but how on earth would be be able to lift him.
'Guess I have no other choice then.,' he said, putting his hands together he used his magic. 'Soul render, Darkness Embrace..' suddenly tons of purple and black tendrils seeped from the floor creating an almost onyx like webbing that cradled his father. Willing it forward it scooped him up and carried him alone side him as he left the Heartifilia residence that night. Taking his fathers things and his own with him. Akio had wanted to say goodbye to Lucy but weighed the risk and it was too great.
'I'll come back one day for you Lucy,' he said walking into the forest, just a kid and his father.
Lucy POV
"Lulu..." I repeated, "Akio... how could you... how could you do this...I thought we-"
"We were what? Friends? " he said smiling as he came into better view. His tendrils still coiling around my body. "That ship sailed honey, you know honestly I did plan to come back for you. A couple times too. First to rescue you from your father. Then rescue turned to stealing you from him. That Detestable oaf. After he kicked my father and I out, along with the rest of anyone from my family, we were unable to find work. My father was badly beaten, his ribs broken. It caused irreparable damage you see. His lungs never really recovered after the ribs breaking. Luckily my aunt knew healing magic and cured the punctures the ribs made, but it did a number on him. A few years later when he died I vowed to end your terrible father as well. Luck wasn't on my side though, he lost his fortune and ended up dead in some shack somewhere. Even if I didn't get my own revenge I was rather pleased with how he died. He used to cry at night in that shack. 'Lucy Lucy... where is my Lucy? I know she's alive.' As if he even cared for you. I cared for you. I was the only one. Or do you not remember that either Lulu?" He said as his tendrils tightened.
"Akio I-"
"I said, don't touch what ISN'T YOURS! Fire Dragon IRON FIRST!" Natsu yelled, flying towards Akio.
"Ah ah ah...tisk tisk pesky dragon, can't you see mommy and daddy are talking?" Akio said grinning as he licked his lips. "Abyssal Domain"
A flash of black exploded from the ground encasing Natsu. It shrank smaller and smaller effectively pinning him to the ground.
"Requip!" Erza shouted as her armor glowed changing.
"Meteor" Jellal yelled turning golden he sprang forward, "I'll get Lucy, you free Natsu".
"Could everyone please just shut the fuck up for a moment?" Akio said raising his fist. Natsu's domain shrank even more, and two more formed around both Erza and Jellal, "I'm trying to reconnect with my best friend here. Damn. I'm starting to get angry now."
"Natsu! Erza! Jellal!" I screamed.
"You too sweetie, I'm trying to tell you a story." Akio said as one of his tendrils draped across my mouth gagging me. "Now where was I? Oh yes, anyway, like I said I had planned on stealing you or rescuing you whichever the fuck you prefer, but when I finally made it back to the estate, sometime had passed."
Flashback- No one POV
'Otosan! I want to be a guild wizard!' Lucy yelled.
'No! You will not, it is unbecoming of a Lady, you will go to this matchmaking meeting and marry Daniel! That's final!' Jude yelled back at her. Lucy sprinted from the room running back to her own. Reaching under bed she pulled out the numerous sorcerer weekly magazine she would have the servants buy her in secret.
'Fairytail... I WILL be a fairytail wizard, just you wait and see father!' Lucy said suddenly pulling her keys and whip from under her dresser. She had kept them safe from her father. He would have never approved of this type of behavior. Her mother though, would she see her differently? Would she see her heart yearns to be a mage like she was, a strong celestial wizard. Capable of summoning many spirits. Who knows... 'What I do know is she wouldn't want me to rot away here'. When there clock rang 3am Lucy made her escape from the Heartifila mansion, estate, and ultimately her father.
Being on the road was difficult. She traveled from city to city. Always looking for work as a mage, trying to help anyone in need. 'YOSH! I will make it to fairytail and join!' she exclaimed. 'Ahhh I'm so excited! I can't wait- ara?' she said puzzled suddenly tumbling to the ground.
'Oh! I'm sorry miss, I didn't see you there.' said a voice. Looking up she saw a handsome man, not too much older than her perhaps.
'Excuse me! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump into you-' she said quickly bowing apologetically.
'Oh no it was me! I am sorry, I didn't see you' he replied bowing as well. Both still bowing they tilted their heads up and smacked right into one another again. Her head hit his chin.
"owwwwwww' she said rubbing her head, looking at him as his lip was bleeding, 'oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, I'm a bit of klutz.."
He chuckled, 'It's fine, don't worry about it. Looks like we both can't help it.' Smiling his gaze met hers.
'Do..do I know you?" She said, 'I can't place it, but I've seen you before or something.
'Haha, I doubt that, but be careful on you way miss. Bandits roam these hills.'
"I'm going to be a guild mage! I can take them!' Lucy said grinning.
'Wow! You're a celestial wizard right? Aren't those gate keys?' he asked.
'Yes they are, I'm on my way right now to Hargeon, I'm hoping to join a guild once I'm there. I'd love to join Fairytail, I heard Salamander is there now, I want to meet him myself and try to join his guild.'
'Cool! We'll good luck Lucy, I know you'll do great' the younger guy said smiling.
'Thanks!' she said as she walked away. Completely oblivious to the fact the man said her name. The guy watched her as she left.
'I guess you don't remember me anymore then, huh Lulu?' he said to himself, 'my how beautiful you've become though.' he said turning to leave and walk a different direction.
Continuing down the road he wondered how she had managed to convince her father to let her leave. The asshat of a man surely wouldn't approve of his baby girl just galivanting off to become a guild wizard.
'I saw her go this way a few hours ago, she looked juicy. Hey you! Did you happen to see a blonde girl come through here?' a scraggly man said. He looked to be in his late 30's, his belly large, and he reeked of alcohol and smoke. 'Answer me boy, did you see a blonde girl go through here?'
'No' Akio said as he continued on his way.
'Piss off' the man replied shoving him down to the dirt as a group of men walked by.
'Lucy,' he whispered. Getting up he followed them through the roads tree line.
'Oh ho ho, there she is boys! Wait up pretty thing! Let's have a drink!' the older one said approaching Lucy, throwing his arm around her, grazing her chest.
'Let go of me!' she yelled. Shoving him back and turning to take a fighting stance.
'Look boys, this one is a fighter, complete with a whip' he cackled. Lucy cracked her whip and slit him across his cheek.
'Try me...' she said boastful, looking triumphant at the small cut she inflicted.
'What are you doing Lucy..' Akio whispered, sighing he started to step out from the trees.
'Open! Gate of the Crab, CANCER!' she yelled.
DING DONG
'Ebi ebi, what do you need?' Cancer said snipping his scissors.
'Let's make some oragami cancer' she said.
'Hai! Ebi!' cancer replied launching forward snipping his scissors, he cut the first mans hair clean off, as well as his clothes.
'Ahh,' the man yelled covering himself, ' don't just stand there you dumbasses, get her!'
The rest of them ran at Lucy, 'Close Cancer. Open! Gate of the Bull, Taurus!'
'MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO no one can touch Lucy's lovely body but me!' Taurus yelled, swinging his axe he hit the men. Sending them flying.
'LUCYYYYYYYYY KICK!' Lucy yelled kicking one man in the face. Needless to say, Akio was impressed watching the blonde mage. How she could fight was a complete mystery to him.
'Enough!' the now semi clothed first man yelled. Using his magic he sent thunder waves towards Lucy. Taurus took the first hit, ' Sorry Lucy' he said as he turned golden as his gate closed.
'Taurus!' Lucy yelled. Another wave of thunder was sent, zapping Lucy. 'I can't move...' she cried.
'Ah. Yes my magic has temporarily paralyzed you. Now shall I get even? You publically shamed me, maybe I should strip you bare for these men to see'
'YEAH!'
'WOOOHHH', the men said in different cheers.
'Darkness...Expanse...' Akio whispered.
'What the.. its dark, I can't see. What is this liquid? What are you doing girl?' the man said panicked.
Purple tendrils came from the ground. Gripping all the men. Closing her eyes Lucy waited, but there were no tendrils on her, no screams either, when she opened them, she was laying on the road, alone.
'What was that?' she said to herself. Getting up after sometime, she ran for Hargeon.
"You really don't recognize my magic do you?" Akio said, "I find that funny seeing how now thats three times you've seen it. First when we were children, I lost control in the art gallery. Do you not remember the black flood and Aquarius saving us? You nearly drowned. If not for her we both might have. The second was on your way to Hargeon way back when, you don't remember my tendrils pulling those men off you, or bumping in to me? I suppose that makes sense it wasn't exactly a memorable meeting. Man you were beautiful though. I loved you even then, not having seen you for years, it shocked me really. I was ready to like ol' flame brain over there. Burn and slaughtered everything and everyone between me and you."
"Akio, I'm sorry about what my father did to you, I'm sorry for not remembering you, what is it that you want? What happened to you? To make you this way?" I asked. His eyes grew dark.
"As my life continued, and things got shitter, i joined a dark guild. I slowly came to the realization that my life wouldn't have been hard and my father would have lived, if I had simply ignored the little blonde girl. But oh how she used to beg me to play with her. Sad really, being all alone in that big mansion, I took pity on her and did. If I hadn't who knows where my family would have ended up. I'm guessing I wouldn't be the last one alive then." Akio said his stare piercing.
CRACK CRACK BOOM!
The black sphere encasing Natsu exploded"...Let... Lucy... Go..." Natsu said, as fire expanded from behind him.
"You broke out huh? Hmm..odd I don't think anyone has ever broken out. This is new for me.. one sec I need to take this moment in, this emotion, what is it?" He said, "Ah yes, shock. Normally people go in the domain and just die from well... not sure really Usually I drown them or something I'm guessing you burnt your way out. Well, glad you survived. Lulu over here probably would never speak to me if I killed her husband, or wait your not her husband, just a friend then right? You mind if I keep her? Watching her fight Jirima everyday in basically nothing sure burned that body into my memory, I might just have to keep her to myself" he snarled, as his tendrils clamped on my wrists even more.
"Nat...su... run..." I choked out as one curled around my throat.
"ah ah ah" Akio said as Natsu's fists engulfed, "I could snap her neck and I don't think either of us want-"
"REGULUS IMPACT!" Loki shouted, landing a blow to the side of Akio's head causing him to stumble back. Natsu raced forward, "Fire Dragon, Claw!" Natsu's flames ripped through the tendrils. Scooping me up as he jump back away for Akio.
"You really are getting on my nerves..." he said standing back up.
"Stardress! Leoform!" I yelled, my clothes changing in to a black and golden evening gown to match Leo perfectly as the small zodiac sign showed on my skin. Pulling my whip I stood at the ready to fight. "Akio. Please don't do this.." I said.
"Abyssal Domain...Darkness... Expanse" he said. Hearing the words, triggered Lucy's memory...
A room, filled to the brim with black opaque liquid, 'Hurry', Akio yelled. Calling me over to him, he was standing on one of the sculptures as the black liquid poured from his hand.
"I can't turn it off... I can't stop it Lulu! Quick come over here" he yelled.
"I can't swim" I yelled, starting to sink into the pool of black... It invaded my nose, my lungs I couldn't breath. Kicking with all my might I breached the surface, shooting my mothers key out, "Open Gate of the Water Barer! Aquarius!" I screamed sinking back into the abyss.
Ding dong!
The black water was replaced with blue water, and slowly the water level sank."Don't you ever do that again.." Aquarius said, yelling at Akio. "Magic is dangerous if you cannot control it. You could have killed her. You! Don't you ever summon me in this black shit again you hear me girl? I'm leaving.. I have a date with my boyfriend".
"What.. was...that..." I said coughing out the black liquid.
"I don't know.." Akio responded.
No one POV
The Black semi-sphere appeared this time, encasing Natsu, Lucy, Loki and Akio." Quick we have to break out, the liquid.." I said yelling as black liquid again pooled at my feet. This one didnt smell rotten like Jirimas. This one just seemd... sad or lonely.
"Akio, Don't!" Lucy yelled.
"Don't what? Drown you? You don't have Aquarius anymore, if you had, you would have already done something about this.
"Open! Gate of the Maiden! Virgo! Virgo drill us out" Lucy said, "Loki shine a light!"
"Yes hime!" Virgo responded.
"Regulus impact!" Loki yelled.
"Whoa two at once? Who knew..." Akio said grinning as his tendrils formed to create a chair for him to sit in. "I'll just watch you drown if that's okay".
"Drown..." she whispered. Fear set into Lucy. Her memories of being trapped in the liquid started to make her panic. Effectively freezing her in place. She sank to her knees as her face went white.
"Lucy! Lucy!" Natsu said shaking her, "Lucy get up".
"She can't" Akio said, she's been trapped in this before. She's scared. I almost killed her when we were children. Pity... maybe I should have."
Natsu bent down, taking Lucy's hand," Luce, just breathe. Like me. Here, feel" he said placing her hand on his chest. The rise and fall of his chest seemed to calm the blonde.
"I won't let anything happen to you. Lucy" he said brushing his thumb over her cheek.
"UGHHHHHHHHHHH so much talking," Akio said opening a small hole in the sphere, ejecting Natsu from it then sealing back up. "That's better".
Taking in a deep breath, Lucy stood. "Open Gate of the Seagoat, Capricorn!" Lucy yelled. "Virgo, Loki, Capricorn, Lets go!" Running at Akio the spirits and Lucy began fighting.
"Alright! This is a party" Akio said smiling.
"Regulus Impact!" Loki yelled.
Capricorn rushed Akio swinging his punches and kicks trying to land a blow. Chains shot from Virgo wrapping around Akio's legs and wrists.
"Nice!" Lucy shouted, "LUCYYYYY KICKKKKKK" landing a blow straight to his face kicking off and stepping back from him...
"Natsu! Where is Lucy?" Jellal said as he and Erza ran towards him. The heat surrounding his body caused their skin to turn pink.
"He has what is mine..." Natsu said angrily... "he has her in there..." he pointed.
"Jellal get have you finished the circles? " Erza asked
"Yes" he replied.
"Alright I will break the sphere, Natsu be ready to hit him with everything, Jellal you too" Erza commanded, "Requip, Nakagami". Erza's armor changed into her second origin legendary set. Using her halberd she cut, "NAKAGAMI STARLIGHT" she yelled.
The sphere cracked and split in two as black liquid seeped from it. Akio jumped back as Lucy and her spirits did the same. She fell to one knee. "Close..Capricorn" she said falling forward on her hands. "Close Virgo, Close Loki". All three spirits vanished. Breathing heavily she reached in to her side and pulled another key.
"My my full of surprises aren't we..." Akio said glancing at Lucy, then the rest of her friend, "I can see now why you wanted to join Fairytail..." he laughed.
"FIRE DRAGON KING...ROAR!" Natsu yelled as searing hot flames flew at Akio, but be dodged. Stepping back, his foot activated two red and gold circles. Suddenly a golden and red constellation appeared overhead and 7 matching circles lit on the ground.
"Unison Raid! GRAND CHARIOT" Erza and Jellal together. As the stars aligned and fell onto Akio impacting him from every angle.
"Argghhhhh" Akio screamed.
"Open gate of the twins... Gemini" Lucy said breathlessly. Gemini and Lucy joined hands. Bowing their heads they spoke simultaneously,
"Measure the heavens, and open them wide...
Through the shining of all the stars of heaven,

Magic pulsed around Gemini and Lucy as the 88 bodies descended from the heavens. Raining down on Akio in unison with the Grand Chariots from Erza and Jellal. There were too many for Akio to evade them all. Taking hits from each direction Natsu waited for the perfect moment where he couldn't even him...
"Got ya...Fire Dragon King's BRILLIANT FLAME!" Natsu yelled from behind Akio. Striking him with a large fire ball.
"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Akio yelled. His black liquid evaporating as the dark expanse faded from the light of then heavens. Sinking to his knees... he fell forward...
