Chapter 3: Topsy turvy

at the Teashoppe

luffy zoro and they're new wonderlandian friends were enjoying their time together eating sweets and sipping tea and small talks while luffy was too busy stuffing his mouth with food as for zoro he got use to drink tea for the time bieng as maddie was pulling Luffy's cheeks "its so stretchy" she said playfully lizzie couldn't help but giggle

"say kid what ever did happened to that book you said you had a while ago" zoro asked

Alistair spoke up "i just dont understand what could've happened"

"Unless" said bunny putting down her tea

"unless what?" asked Maddie as she lets go of Luffy's cheek

"well after we got the book we did run into someone" bunny replied as Alistair just got a hint "thats right!"

"who?" kitty asked the two looked at each other as bunny answers "Your mom" luffy perked up then swallowed his food as he stops eating

"really my mom" kitty said "you think she switched the storybook of legends, with the riddle book?..that is Hexellent !"

"kitty" lizzie was surprised her friend would be saying that i mean of course she would anyway kitty kept talking how smart her mom is " i thought i was good at causing chaos, but she's another page she's spelltacula-"she was about to finish her sentence then all of a sudden luffy Hits the table and shouted at her "THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" everyone at the teashoppe then got startled by luffys sudden anger

"your friends were just bringing the book back to where it belongs and now because of your mom everyone didn't believe them and here you are praising her as if everything is just a joke to you "Luffy Said looking straight into her eyes maddie

lizzie Alistair and bunny was surprised to see luffy so angry

"Luffy's right kitty i know we've all been friends forever after but you gotta learn that some jokes are not funny" Alistair told her as she stood up crossing her arms

"hmph and i thought my wonderland friends would understand me i guess not charm you later" kitty huffed before using her magic to teleport

zoro took a sip of his tea and said "that went well, sounds to me she just want to impress her mom"

"yeah she always wanted to be like her mom i guess you could say she looks up to her" said Alistair

"doesn't she knows that you dont have to be like your parents i never became a navy just because my gramps told me to even after he beats me up" luffy said while eating some tart's

"dont be a worry flurry she'll come around she just needs some time to herself" said maddie then sighs

a cartwheel carrying sweets and tea with strawberry tarts came up to their table it was the Mad hatter Maddie's father as he put his hat on top of maddie

"Dad" maddie giggles

"Alright more food" luffy smiled

"its nice to see a familiar face" said Alistair

the mad hatter and maddie were doing their signature handshake and rhyming in unison

"Whistle,cradle, Up top, down sideways,shake and to the moon"

he poured tea to everyone at the table

"the train runs on tracks,birds in the air and we believers must always take care" he riddled

"hes right a little food would totally help us think" said Alistair

"weird" said zoro

"thanks for the food weird hat guy" luffy chuckles as the mad hatter smiles at him

"your very welcome my dear boy" he said before going back to work

" no this isn't right there's no pie ginger baked her message in a pie" said brook the young narrator

"maddie can hear us" said brook as her parents didn't like that

"Brook no!" both her parents denied

"im sorry i have to do this, maddie ginger baked a message for you in a pie its somewhere in the teashoppe hurry" the young narrator told maddie as she stood up from her table

"thank you young narrator"

"Wait did i hear someone said Pie?" luffy questions as he looked around

"*gasp* you can hear the narrator's too luffy" Maddie asked luffy "that is Hat-tastic but we should probably find a pie and talk about this later"

"you have me at pie maddie" said luffy as the two were now getting each and every pie in the teashoppe putting them all at their table

"Hat-tastic" said maddie

"Pie~" luffy was drooling at the pile of pie

"why did you do that maddie and you too luffy" lizzie questions the two "ginger baked us a message the voice told me and luffy so" maddie replied

"luffy here eat up" maddie slicing the pie and putting into Luffy's mouth so they can find the message

seems its been hours after eating The whole pie and no luck finding the message luffy couldn't eat another bite

"thanks for the pie cant eat anymore im full" he suddenly slept down on the floor with his bug stomach

"Luffy's already eaten every pie but no message" said Alistair

"will luffy be alright zoro" lizzie asked

gesturing luffy

zoro just puts his hand at the back of his head "Yeah its normal"

the mad hatter returns to their table with another pie in his hand "Well maddie your friend here really made himself clear that he loves to eat pie" he said putting another pie at the table

"i found this one fresh from the kitchen that you really must try" he left the table once again

maddie sliced the pie in the middle and suddenly a mouth appears as it was repeating a message

"Uh so what do i do?, do i just start talking test test" it started to say "oh guys!, this is ginger ever after is in danger, theres a riddle book and its cursed you have to find it" ginger warned them and gasps in shock "uh so what do i, do thats it"

"What do we do?" asked Alistair

"Hmm cedar was the last one with the riddle book" maddie replied

"and where did you see her last? zoro asked maddie "at the spring fair"

Suddenly luffy woke up "well what are we waiting for Lets go" the gang was surprised luffy wasn't stuffed anymore

"how did he" bunny asked as luffy then said "im made of rubber remember"

"oh yeah"

"come on " maddie told the others as they all stood up and exited while maddie took a quick peck on her father's cheeks "thanks Dad"

"your welcome, wait what did i do" he Wondered

at the Springfariest

the gang soon arrived at the fair searching for Cedar as they looked around and there found her as she was complimenting the people around her but something wasn't right about her

lizzie was the one got to ask her "Cedar where is that book of riddles?"

"uhh i dont know what your talking about" she lied

"oh yes you do i saw you reading it during the chef showdown and, oh!" she said covering her mouth "Cedar is lying!"

"okay this curse is not Hat-tastic"maddie pouted as she crossed her arms

"well how are we going to find the book"bunny asked as zoro walked up to her with a grinned look on his face

"ok wood girl I'll give you two options either you tell us where that book is" he said getting his sandai kitestsu pointing at her "or I'll cut you into pieces" the others gasps

"y-you wouldn't" said cedar as zoro got closer to her with a cold look "wouldn't i?" cedar was now shaking in fear as she had no choice but to talk

"Okay okay! ill tell you, i threw it in the dumpster behind the castleteria" zoro puts his sword away as she ran away in fright

"that really wasn't necessary zoro but it worked lets go" said Alistair as they all went

zoro suddenly stoped at a nearby alley he looked around as if someone was watching him "i know your there might as well come out" he said after a few moments a Cat woman appeared in front of him "I never imagined a man would see through me" she grinned at him

"im guessing your kitty's mom" he asked

"quite right and you are~" she replied running her fingers on his chest while purring

"im someone who's not from around here

you realize that you just put everyone here in danger"

"oh its just a prank and i like causing chaos" she said as zoro crossed his arms "a prank that might hurt someone?" zoro questions her

"im a Cheshire its what we do, we like causing Chaos because it keeps people guessing and that make this cat purr~" she said getting too close to zoro as his face was getting red "i better leave now tata~"

she disappeared infront of him, zoro was still there shaking his head bringing him back to the world

"where was i?, oh yeah dumpster book got it" he was about to run and suddenly he saw some teens running like something was chasing them he looked and saw the color Fading "What the hells going on!?"

he decided to follow the teens and lead him back to the fair when he got there he saw them arguing with another group of teens it was the princess and prince's something was off about them

"hey do you any of you know whats going on here?" he asked as the goth girl known as Raven queen answers him

"its my friend here sir shes not acting like herself" she said as zoro looked at the blonde princess she rolled her eyes

"what? were just playing around why dont you join us" she offered

"yeah i dont play games dont make me do something i might regret"

"wait" she said and got a ripped off page

why dont you read this first" zoro raised and eyebrow as if its a trap "im not falling for it"

"aww please i promise we'll stop playing right guys" she said at the rest behind her they all agreed

zoro took the ripped off page and read it

"Dont be fooled, staying would be a blunder" his eyes soon turn grey and with a grinned look "have room for one more"

"of course" said the blonde " but first things first would you please take care of them" she pointed at the Raven and the other girls with her

zoro smiled wickedly and got out his black blade" with pleasure " the girls gasp and backed away

the girls were now in fear as zoro was slowly getting close to them with his sword ready to Strike...
