Chapter 5: first day of School
we see luffy Zoro sanji robin and chopper walking along a pathway towards a castle Also a school called Ever after high and their guide was apple white
they crossed the bridge which had a troll under it and come across the entrance to the school luffy was awe struct how big the castle was
"this is a school its so huuuge" luffy said
"it sure does remind me of the time we were at Alabasta" said chopper reminiscing their past
apple went up ahead of them at the entrance "it would be my pleasure to welcome you all to ever after high"
as they all entered and saw various students inside going in about their days
and they all looked at the pirates enter
three pigs were walking by when luffy saw them he started giving them a hungry look as they ran away squealing
"this place is not that bad" zoro said as sanji move up infront of them
"Yeah and whats even better is that this school is full of Princess!" said sanji excitedly as he start to ran up to some random girls who ran away from him
"I need Princesses!!~"
chopper then sigh's "and there goes sanji again" and Robin said "i think we would like to find the one who is in charge of this school"
"oh i know just the right person our headmaster Grimm and giles grimm I'll lead you to their office" apple offered "oh and be careful some students here can get lost"
luffy robin and chopper slowly looked at zoro
"What?"
as they made their way to the headmasters office a blonde girl dressed in childish Victorian-Esque fashions such as Alice bands, ribbons and innocent bear prints she Came up to them with a cameraman with her as she starts to say
"Blondie locks here with a special report as we welcome ever after high's first Pirates who claim to be from another world and guiding them is our apple white" she said talking to the camera and got next to luffy
"care to give our viewers a comment" she said pointing her bear like microphone to Luffy's cheek
"uhh whats going on?"
"Blondie give luffy some space you can have an interview with them as soon as we got out from headmaster grimms office" apple said as sanji Walked up at blondie
"excuse me miss can i ask you something?" he asked
"yes of course anything" blondie replied
"can you tell me why your so adorably beautiful!" he said which cause the blonde to blush
"o-oh well u-mm i" she stuttered as sanji then said "would you like anything miss if you do please let me know id be very happy to-" sanji was about to finish til he was Bieng dragged away by zoro
"come on shitty cook you can ask these girl's out later"
"hey i was still talking to her dont you have any manners at all you unchivalrous brute!"
he said while Bieng dragged leaving blondie a blush on her face
they reached the headmasters office as everyone entered he was with his brother doing some paperwork when he noticed them as well as his brother
"Ah miss white and i see you brought mr zoro and his friends i presume" he said as robin spoke up to him
"greetings its a pleasure making your aquatints headmaster i am robin archeologist of the strawhat's" robin said while taking a bow
"really you dont say, we haven't had any archeologist these days, i hope you may find our school intriguing madam" he turned to the monster trio and chopper
"i don't believe i ever had your full names we'll except for mr zoro here" sanji Spoke up first
"blackleg sanji" he said while getting a smoke even though it was against the rules but he smoked anyway
"Tony tony chopper at your service" chopper said giving a cute salute as headmaster looked at luffy
"Luffy was it?" he asked luffy nodded
"yep im Monkey D luffy"
that made the headmaster eyes widened realizing the Name he just heard
"di- did you say D?!?" he said in shocked as apple seemed worried "headmaster grimm what is it?" she said, his brother Giles went to his side
"brother is everything alright?"
he took a deep breathe fixed himself and sat back down "yes im fine" he said rubbing his head before looking at luffy again
"old man is something wrong?" luffy asked him
the headmaster stayed silent for a moment he took a deep breath and he spoke
"Do you perhaps know a man with the same name who's also known as" he hesitate at first and said
"Gol D. Roger"
there was a brief silence no one said a word until the pirate group was shocked
"WHAAAAAT?!?" they all said in unison
"Gold roger as in the pirate king gold roger!?" luffy said getting close to his table
"i remember my mother use to tell me about him" said apple
"Yes he use to attend here at ever after high for a short time, and by your reaction id say he really has become king of the pirates"
"it would seem that there's more to this story" said robin the headmaster nods at that
"how did the pirate king even got here before" zoro asked
"Roger had the same situation as you five are now having, i welcomed him and he became an official student, and made quite a name for himself here" said Headmaster
"is that so awesome" Luffy said in interest
before getting a hit from sanji "No its not luffy!"
"where he is now is he doing well" the headmaster asked the pirate group and they shared looks with each other
"What is it?" he asked before luffy was the one to tell him
"Gold roger the king of the pirates was executed a long time ago" luffy said as the headmaster and his brother including apple gasps "his last words drove countless pirates to the seas me and my crew are one of them"
the headmaster was devastated at the death of his former student and he didn't even knew he died his brother came to comfort him
"this is just all so suddenly and we haven't even informed" he said rubbing the bridge of his nose
"we never expect this to happen even for a man like Roger" giles said as he comfort his brother
"headmaster may i ask on how did roger get here specifically" robin asked as headmaster replied "he did say about a book that resembles our Storybook of legends"
"that reminds me could you explain this storybook of legends it sounds important to you" said robin
"certainly madam you see the storybook of legends is where fairytale characters signed and declare their destiny to the world, if you sign the book then you must follow your destiny" he explains
"i see" said robin rubbing her finger on her chin "and what will happen what if to say didn't sign"
"i wouldn't think about that madam if not then that person and his/her story Will
go poof" he said causing apple to look sacred
"and is there any record of anyone going poof headmaster" robin asked
"well so far we haven't but some fear it might come true" he replied causing luffy to speak up
"so your telling me your forcing students to sign some book if they dont they'll disappear and you have no proof if its real" said luffy
"i wouldn't use the word force think of it as doing for their own good" he replied "now on what were going to do with you all i have to ask you some questions first" he pulled out some list from his desk
the first he asked was sanji "what are your specialty sir?"
"i can cook it seems these students needs some food for their heads you can't focus on an empty stomach"
sanji answers as headmaster then said "would you be willing to help out in the castleteria were open for more help" sanji just nods at that and start to think of princesses admiring his cookings
next was chopper "what of you mr chopper"
"im a doctor sir and i want to help anybody and there's no disease that i wont cure" chopper said in seriousness but cute at the same time "I'll put you with miss baba yaga the schools faculty advisor she might need some assistance"
and comes zoro "what can you mr zoro judging by your swords it would seem there's more to it"
"i can nap and drink booze do you have any of it now"he said causing both headmasters to deadpanned
"brother how about he can be our official guard we haven't have that in a century" he said as the headmaster agreed "alright then"
next was robin "madam what would you like to do?"
"I would like to visit your library i may need to know more about this world" robin said
"certainly" headmaster agreed as he looked at luffy the last one of the group
"luffy how old are you?" he asked
"im 19"
"have you been to school before" he added
"nope ive learned on my own" Luffy said remembering his childhood with ace and sabo
"ahh then this will be your first day of school, would you like to be an official student here?" he asked as luffy Thought for a few moments and he Nodded
"hexcellent congratulations mr luffy here are your schedule oh and miss white will show you around"
"i would love to show you around the school luffy" apple said
"cool so old man whens it time to eat" luffy asked as headmaster checked his watch
"your in luck its lunch time you ma-" before he could finish luffy already jumped out of his seat and ran to the door
"Oh yeah food here i come" he said excitedly while drooling in hunger
"mr luffy wait a moment" he said causing luffy to stop and looked back at him "what is it old man?"
"tell me what is it your going to achieve" headmaster asked as luffy smiled at him
"To be the Next king of the pirates, and find the legendary Treasure One piece" luffy said causing the headmaster sweat dropped as he saw luffy resembling to Roger
"Well see ya" luffy said as hes out of the room
"w-wait a spell Luffy wait for me!" apple then rushed to the door chasing luffy
"well we best be on our way be seeing you headmaster"
"see ya around"
"bye"
the strawhat's said their goodbye leaving
the two headmasters in their office the Headmaster was staring blankly at the door as his brother was a concerned
"brother are you sure your alright we might have to get baba yaga if" he said but the headmaster cuts him off
"its alright brother im in perfect condition its just that seeing mr luffy reminded me of a feeling that i thought was long gone" he said as they continue to do their work
Castleteria
the schools castleteria was a filled with students nurturing themselves with food as luffy entered the room he couldn't help but smell a delicious aroma
"is that it it meat" luffy then rushed to get a plate full of meat he grabbed two turkey legs with Five stakes and added it with one big chicken bone
the other students then looked at Luffy's big plate of meat as he tried to keep his balance "where to lets see"
"Luffy!" he looked at maddie as she was sitting with bunny and Alistair "come join us we got a seat for you" maddie offered as luffy sat down with them
"whoa luffy thats alot of meat, gotta warn ya it is not good for you stomach" Alistair said as luffy started to stack his mouth up with some meat
"ive been wanting to feast myself with these juicy meat sanji usually makes the best food" Luffy said continue to Eat when a girl in red Hood came up to them
"hey maddie this seat taken "she asked
"nope its all yours Cerise"maddie said as she took her seat and she looked at luffy
"who's your friend maddie hes got good taste in meat?"
"oh where are my teacups Cerise this is luffy hes a pirate from another world" maddie introduce luffy who just swallowed a meat
"Hi"
"nice to meet you luffy" Cerise said "its cool to see someone who likes meat" she said taking a bite on her own meat
"i love meat it's so tasty juicy tender" Luffy replied grabbing a chicken leg and eating it whole getting the bone out of his mouth
as it landed at the middle of the table
"i got it" luffy and Cerise said at the same time as both of their hands touched each other
cerise and luffy was now looking at each other Cerise face was starting to turn red as luffy just looked at her they kept looking at one another til Cerise broke it by slapping his hand as her eyes turn to gold with a growl
"Ow what was that for"
Cerise eyes went back to normal and looked sorry "i- im s-so sorry luffy I didn't meant to do that, i need to go sorry again" she said taking off
"whats that all about" luffy asked maddie
"cerise is well mysterious there's somethings that we dont know about her" maddie answers taking a sip pf her tea
"anyway luffy whats your class after lunch" Alistair asked as luffy took out his schedule
"it says damsel in distressing class whats that?" he asked as Alistair replied "hey i got the same class guess were going to together its a class where prince's practice rescuing their princesses"
"thats it sounds easy" Luffy said as he stood up "come Alistair let's go" he grabbed ahold of Alistair's shirt and ran away with him" H-hey luffy stop i wasn't done eating!!" maddie and bunny just giggled at that
Kitchen
with sanji he was walking along the hallway while smoking he couldn't staring at some Princesses
"every girls ive seen here is so damn cute and beautiful could this be my all blue" he thought as he made it to the schools kitchen entrance
he got in and saw a colorful kitchen the utensils were in correct order he smelled something good and went to see someone
"excuse me do you need any help" he asked as the person was a girl with a pink pigtails it was ginger she fixed up her glasses
"oh hey mr sanji i wasn't hexpecting you and yes i do need help"
"whats that your making" sanji asked as the she tooked out a Tupperware "ive been baking these for my school presentation for general villainy class"
"may i try some" sanji asked which the she nodded
sanji got one of the sweets Took a bite
"its So sweet and delicious" he said in delight
"im glad you liked it mr sanji" ginger smiled not anyone would ever try her baking not once until now
"I woul like to return the favor by Making you something as in return" he offered
"you can bake too mr sanji?
"i can cook as well" he said folding his sleeve and grabbed kitchen knife flipping it "i will do the honor of Making you the new kama kempo technique recipe ginger chan"
"new kama technique?" she asked as sanji was now starting to cook ginger couldn't help but look in awe
a few minutes of Cooking sanji added the last ingredient
"here you go ginger chan new kama kempo 99vital recipe hormone soup with sea pork the dish that was made from my love" he said giving it to ginger
ginger took a sip of it as her eyes widened "its...its so Delicious!"
"im glad you liked it ginger chan" he said but ginger fainted
"Ginger chan are you okay ginger chan!" sanji was getting worried luckily ginger woke up
"oh your okay" said sanji gently helping her up
"sorry mr sanji its just that i never tasted anything thag good before not even my moms baking" she then looked at sanji
"can you teach me to cook please i want to learn to that i can put a smile on everyone's face" sanji didn't know how to react to this it was his first time a girl asked for her teaching he smiled and said
"of course ginger chan" which caused the Pinkette to smile
"thank you mr sanji"
sanji then began his teachings to ginger and maybe even give her a recipe the two were now cooking and baking together
"wow ginger got a cooking teacher" said brooke
"but that is not her destiny" her mom added
"by the looks of that i think she wont be doing destiny anymore ooh I can't wait what happens next"
"ah ah ah brooke i good narrator doesn't spoil" her father said
"but but aw come on ugh"
