Chapter 18: Dragon Games part 1
"remind me why we didn't arrived at our destination yesterday?" sanji asked as we see the entire crew groaning in the morning while walking
"because sanji my friend" usopp began "its because of a certain someone had to eat a house made of gingerbread and made some troll angry at us and not to mention someone had to steal gold from all those leprechaun and then we got trapped in a cave for a day!!" he gesture's both luffy and nami
luffy chuckled and nami was holding a gold in her hand as she giggled
"ah come on you gotta admit that house was tasty" luffy said only slapped by usopp "we were supposed to arrive at ever after high yesterday you idiot!"
yamato on the other hand couldn't help but giggle at the sight she was next to jinbie and robin "is it always like this?"
"unfortunately yes" replied robin
"ive only been in the crew for a while but yes" laughed jinbie
"I dont think i can walk any further my bones are killing me" brooke complained
"your already are all bones" chopper points out
"oh yes thats right yohohoho"
"the sooner we get there the better" said zoro "i gotta have myself a booze" franky was behind him along with carrot on his shoulder
just as they continue to walk the straw hats soon found themselves in an abandoned stadium of some sort
"whoa" they all said in unison
"what is this place?" asked luffy
"oh my this ever after highs Dragon stadium" robin answers causing the crew to gasp
"did you say dragons" usopp shivers alongside chopper
"yes it was said to be closed down because its considered dangerous so the headmaster had to shut it down"
just then they all heard an echo
"Nevermore!~~"
"what was that?" chopper nervously asked while holding on to usopp
"sounded like a g-g-ghost" usopp stuttered
"i dont think there's any ghost here probably someone just calling out" sanji said
"yeah but who" questions franky
the sound of the echo got closer and the straw hats got into a defensive circle
"see anything that moves or well you know what to do" zoro told them
"Right!"
"Nevermore!~~"
usopp snaps and started screaming with his slingshot "ahhh come on out you monsters I'll take on all of you!!"
they were expecting a monster but instead a group of girls one was a lavender haired girl next to her was a cute blonde and two twins but one had long hair and other had a naturally auburn hair is cut short and half is dyed purple on the right side and the last one looks similar to the lavender except the color of her hair
"whoa wait a spell l-luffy!?" raven gasp with her eyes widened in surprised
"it-its you guys luffy mr sanji chopper mrs robin sir zoro!" said apple in surprised
"hey its been a while" luffy smiled and sanji knelt down infront of apple with his heart eyes
"apple raven chan~~ how i missed you both melorine~" apple giggles at that as chopper went and hugged the blonde
"so good to see you all again" chopper said while burying his face in apples chest
"its so fabelous to see you all again too but what are you doing here?" apple asked
"we were trying to get to the school but ended up here" zoro answers
the rest of the crew except for the ones who knew the fairytale's already started to whisper
"wow i gotta admit the blonde sure looks cuter in person like sanji said she was" usopp said next to nami
"i can see why she's the princess i bet her parents must be loaded with berries" nami said
"i dont think thier currency here is berry" said franky "i can tell"
brook himself got himself infront of the blonde princess apple for once in her life saw a walking corpse she started to tremble
"princess apple san your so beautiful yohohoho" brook greeted then took a bow
"oh um th-thank you" apple nods still shaking in fright
"can i take a look at your panties?"
*BONK!*
brook said but only to get punched by nami
"dont ask the princess that!"
apple's shiver never go away she stood behind raven who let out a giggle raven wasn't scared not even a bit its because she's use to seeing things like that when her mother turned her puppy which was a gift from her father into a bone rat for example
"so luffy this is the whole crew?" asked raven
"yep everyone meet God Usopp the sniper" usopp puts his slingshot on his shoulder and gave a two finger salute "sup"
"nami our navigator" nami gave raven a peace sign "nice to meet you"
"brook our musician" brook did a tip of his hat like a gentleman "yohohoho a pleasure meeting you all"
"Franky our shipwright" franky did his signature pose what raven and her friends couldn't believe was that he wasn't wearing any pants "its suuuper good to know ya gorgeous"
"jinbie the helmsman" jinbie took a respectful bow "greetings"
"and our newest addition Yamao and carrot" Yamato waved and carrot smiled cutely and went up to raven surprising her and started to rub her cheeks against hers "garchu raven"
"great to meet all of you" raven smiled as carrot let's her go
"you sure do have quite the unique crew luffy" apple admired
"yep so what are you guys doing here and who are they?" luffy points at the one who looks like raven except for the color of her hair and the twins
"that's holly and poppy o'hair they're twins" apple introduced the twins waved

"and this is mira shes new from what i know" raven said the girl named mira smirks at the crew "whats down"
everyone then looked down
"our feet's" luffy said
"i think she meant was whats up thats it!" said apple as if she was covering her and everyone blinks at that
"anyway we cane here looking for my dragon nevermore she went missing have you seen her?" raven desperately asked
"im sorry raven san but we only arrived just now we didn't see any dragon" robin replied and raven let's out a sigh
then a cry could be heard alerting everyone mira points at a stable not too far from them "thats a dragon cry"
"nevermore!" raven quickly ran up to the stadium with the rest behind her
soon as they all entered the stable in a haystack nevermore hopped out and raven hugged her pet "there you are"
"whoa you have a pet dragon?!" luffy asked in amazement
chopper looked and saw a dragon with it a blonde boy it was Daring charming they all soon went over to the blonde
"something is wrong with legend" he said worriedly
"i think thats the dragons name" Luffy whispers at sanji and he gave luffy a deadpan reply "oh gee we haven't noticed luffy"
chopper went over to the dragon and got out his medical equipment out "her temperature is high wait a minute she's actually pregnant and i think its time" hearing that the twins holly and poppy began to awe that it was that time the miracle of Birth
the blonde stood up "wait a spell i thought legend was a boy"
"news flash Daring your dragons a she and she is about to do birth" mira corrected him "oh that oooh" like that the blonde fainted
"doctor chopper can you do the operation?" asked holly and she got a thumbs up as a reply "lets get to work
after a while twelve baby dragon eggs and lets say it wasn't pretty coming out as chopper wiped a sweat one by one the eggs were gently put into one place
"Dragon babies must be so cute" said poppy
"can you imagine that dragon could lay this number off eggs ouch" yamato grimaced
"at least it didn't get stuck" said luffy who was sitting on top of one egg and was dragged down by usopp
"luffy! your not supposed to sit on top of the eggs they're not chickens they're Dragons!"
"so how long till These eggs will hatch" asked sanji
"well according dragonpedia in the wild mother's lay thier eggs near an active volcano to keep the egg warm them until they hatch" holly explained with her mirrorpad
"but apparently it takes years" poppy told them luffy chopper usopp carrot Yamato where disappointed
"aw man i wanna see baby dragons now" Luffy whined along with apple "me too luffy i cant wait that long"
"i bet they must be really cute" chopper said
"we'll i could cast a spell to keep them warm" raven offered
"hot idea raven" holly agreed and so was luffy "yeah thats a good idea"
"hold on i know we just met but isn't that a bit dangerous i mean you do know how to properly use a spell before right" usopp asked but raven was confident that she could do it
"dont worry i got this ive been practicing now lets see" raven cleared her throat and began to cast her spell with her hands flickering to pink flames "incubation incantation warm with lava imitation" pink flames surrounded the eggs warming them up
"whoa" said the strawhats in awe but unbeknownst them mira who was standing behind them cast a spell of her own "this spell could use a power up" she used her magic and increased the fire on the eggs
"i-i must have over done it!" exclaimed raven, luffy chopper usopp carrot began to panic
"oh no the eggs!"
"they're going to get burned quick get a bucket of water fast"
"no problem bros and sis i got this" franky offered and raised his left metal palm and out came a a fire extinguisher and quickly putting out the flames "there"
with the fire gone the eggs started to crack surprising them
"whats going on?" carrot asked
"they're h-hatching" usopp answers her luffy was getting excited so was the girls
"its happening its happening"
"i want the cutest one"
soon the eggs hatched and out came baby dragons and man aren't they the most cutest thing, everyone let's out a round of aws and picking them up as they chirped cutely
"so cute shishi" luffy cooed as he picked up one light blue colored dragon
"what are they saying chopper?" asked nami holding on a dragon
"they kept saying mommy" he answers while a red dragon was licking him
"oh my godmother this is so hexciting"
the other four eggs however wasn't like the rest they were dark ones usopp took noticed and asked
"hey how come those dragons are different?"
"they must have gotten too hot" holly said "that could turn them evil"
"what!!" everyone gasp in unison luffy went and picked one up
"hey zoro check this one out he looks just like you"
"that doesn't even looked anything like me"
the dark dragon growls at zoro but it soon whimpers in fear of zoro's glaring "yeah thats what i thought"
after hearing the news that baby dragons were born not only that but also the return of luffy and his crew some went to see it for themselves especially blondie locks soon maddie darling lizzie alistair bunny rosabella blondie arrived one by one they all shared hugs with each other and introduce with the rest
"its been forever after luffy its so wondrous to see you again all of you" said alistair next to bunny and she took noticed of carrot "another bunny"
carrot went over and greeted them "garchu you must be bunny nice to meet you"
"wow a skeleton" maddie gawked at the sight of brook
"hello I'm brook but as you see im all dead and bones which i am yohohoho"
"*giggles* your funny mr skeleton"
with lizzie she passed through the others who were having a conversation and found luffy and couldn't be more happy to see him i mean he did help get her home back so why wouldn't she "luffy!"
luffy turned and smiled "ooohh lizzie how are ya"
"im doing quite well so good to see you again luffy" just then she looked at sanji who was in a love dose
"lizzie chan did you miss me~~" lizzie huffed and walks away from sanji and moves towards luffy
blondie locks began Live streaming in the stables not a moment ago and was interviewing with Franky especially asking him about why he wasn't wearing any pants that made her cheeks flush when he did his Suuper pose
darling tried to give her dragon a teddy bear but she got her hands frozen
"need a hand there?" she looked up and saw zoro "oh zoro long time no see my master"
"same here and dont call me master, so hows your sword skills coming along you get strong?"
"depends wanna have a quick match after this" the platinum gave the swordsman a grin and responded with his own
meanwhile outside the stables raven and usopp where standing while watching mira riding nevermore
"so tell mr again how can your dragon shape shift like that" usopp asked
"its actually her ability to change her size at will" just then mira did a touch down while the dragon shrinks down usopp saw the dragon was terrified of something or someone
soon the two saw everyone coming out of the stables
"hey where are you guys going?" raven asked
"there's been a special assembly at the charmitorium headmaster grimm said so" apple answers her "come on"
"can't wait to see old man again" luffy chuckled and off they went
some of the strawhats were glad to be back whereas the rest where feeling a bit left out you can say thier entrance was well wild the students was surprised seeing them pass by and yes brook scared the princesses off by asking them thier panties some find franky weird when he did his pose but he couldn't care less for jinbie he's like a natural although some students gave him looks its actually thier first time seeing a fish man aside from mermaids and yamato and nami well the princes we're drooling over them
luffy was the first to arrive at the charmitorium he puts on the breaks and crash landed in the room and got up
"yeah first one here!" he shouted causing some to look at him
"what is the meaning of this!" a gruff voice said luffy knew exactly who it was he looked infront of him and the headmaster himself he blinked in surprised that luffy was back and he wasn't all himself
"mr luffy you've return this is quite unhexpected!?" he said and his brother came to his side and said "oh we look brother looks like we have a few guest"
"oh i see you've brought your whole crew quite unique well take your seats and for the schools sake please dont do anything reckless" he asked then left as luffy only chuckles and looked back at his crew
"come on guys lets go find our seat" and they did they sat ontop of the balcony with thier own seats right next to each other
"fancy joint" franky observed
"so whats this big meeting about?" asked usopp
"where about to find out" said nami and the lights stiffed and the headmaster made the announcement
"it is my honor to welcome back our most successful graduate student our beloved queen snow white" the crowd cheers while the curtain opens up and showing the queen herself Snow white and wow was she the definition of Beautiful and she was to the strawhats reaction well
"i can clearly see where apple chan gets her beauty from" sanji said with a little bleed coming out from his nostrils
"thats apples mom?" chopper asked
i dont know she kinda reminds me of hammock?" luffy reminiscing Hancock since she too was very beautiful and hot
"yohohoho" brook laughed "i wonder what color her panties might be" only to be slapped in the head by nami with her template
"im more curious how wealthy she is" nami said as the queen began her speech
"a little bird told me that dragons have returned to my beloved alma matter" she said "so its time we restored the good old ways today the dragon games are reinstated at ever after high" the crowd cheers dragon games are back! as the queen continues
"the dragon games are tough yet elegant so thats why i want my ever after riders dressed accordingly i acquired the creative team of lizzie hearts and Ashlyn ella" snow white stepped aside and gestures at the curtain parted where Ashlyn and lizzie where standing they stood off to the side and holly and poppy came out with thier cool looking dragon armor sanji began to wolf whistle and brook as well
"these looks are lightweight flexible and fashion forward" lizzie explained
"not to mention fireproof ice proof and explosion resistance" Ashlyn added as Hunter cane up to the stage with a dragon as it fires a blast at holly which it had no effect
"cool!" said luffy chopper usopp yamato carrot brook with excitement in thier star eyes
"i gotta have me one of those clothes" nami said
"hot damn an armor that can withstand any damage these girls got talents" franky said impressed by the two girls design
with that aside for now snow white comes up to the stage "adorable now i cant very well bring back the dragon riding in an old dilapidated arena" she explained while the image in the back showed the old dragon arena if you'll all follow me outside"
they all quickly went and followed snow white outside and led them to the new and improved Dragon arena i tell ya it looks good as knew the straw hats couldn't believe thier eyes
"wasn't this place was like a ruin a while ago?" questions Usopp
"they must have got pretty neat architects either way im really impressed" franky said
"i present to you the new ever after high dragon center" snow white announced and everyone applaud
"hold your applause please this was not my idea my daughter apple thought bringing back the dragon games would unite everyone with school spirits" apples expression to that was 'wait what?!' she smiled weakly while the crowd cheers for her as she walks up to her mom
"wow mom why didn't you tell me about all this? and why did you say it was my idea when it wasn't" she asked as her mom giggled
"oh your welcome my little apple dumpling"
"but mom its a lie"
"apple we've discussed this" she pulled her daughter close to her and continued "sometimes you've got to pull out all the stops and use your resources to get your fairytale back on track"
"wow mira was right we are different"
"who" snow white asked
"me" they all saw it was the new girl mira shards..or was she
"and you can't always buy popularity snow"
"mrs shards mind your manners" the headmaster scolded
"for some reason a got a bad feeling about this" usopp said
"me too" zoro said while gripping his swords he looked at his nakamas telling them something was about to happen and got nods all around
"mira shards how clever" snow white giggled "rumor has it that your an excellent dragon rider for a new kid on the block"
"the rumors true"
"only your not a student you may have been once when we were in school" mira raised her brows at that snow white really knows her i mean of course she would
"i know that arch brow anywhere" things where getting intense
"i just wanted to be closer to my daughter youd understand that" mira said
"daughter?" raven muttered in the crowd
"and to be young again maybe oh ho"
"you would've done it too if you could so i suppose your going to send me back into that awful mirror prison" hearing that raven comes to a realization and gasps
"mom!" the crowd gasps
"what!?" luffy shockingly asked
mira or should i say the evil queen turned to her daughter "sorry birdie" slowly shifting into her true form with a puff of pink aura and lo and behold the evil queen herself "guilty as charged"
luffy had finally saw the evil queen in person remembering of what she did to wonderland he slowly clenched hid fist and gritted his teeth anger
"yay the evil queens here!" maddie celebrated getting everyone's attention "said no one ever"
raven got infront of the crowd and faced her mom "stand back mother i dont know how yiu escape your prison but i will not let you hurt me friends" she said activating her powers
luffy approached the evil queen and by pass raven which she blinked in confusion "luffy what are you? luffy get back!?" but luffy didn't even moved back luffy glared at the woman
"so your the evil queen" he asked
"and you must be Monkey D Luffy ive heard alot about you" she grinned
"2nd Gear!" quickly activating his second gear luffy's body turned red pink with smoke coming out as he dashed forward to the evil queen but was blocked by jinbie
"jinbie what are you doing?! let go!" luffy struggles
"luffy kun please cease this sudden anger of yours this is no time to fight" he advised
"i said let go! im going to make her pay for what she did!" luffy screamed "because of her lizzie and the rest almost lost thier home, i wont let her get away with that!"
the evil queen however cackled at that "i can see your hot tempered certainly not like the one i knew"
"luffy please calm down" sanji said soothingly "you can't just attack the queen like that not in a place and time like this i understand your frustrations luffy i know because we were there so calm down"
luffy managed to calm himself and jinbie let's him go as they looked at the two queens having a conversation
"snow white i have been reformed oh and i see you have dragons why what fun we could've had together" she said but scoffs raven crossed her arms "no more games mother"
"you remember snow?"
"we did have an epic rivalry" snow white said "you versus me it excited the whole school"
"say i could coach a team" she offered and puts her finger on her chin "oh but if i wasn't sent back into that mirror prison what do you say snow white or is the fairest of them all afraid of a little competition"
"if i recall the crowds where cheering for me alright then your on" the crowd all gasps at that especially raven "you wont snow what hit you"
the Evil Queen made her way up to snow white as she began to announce a temporary pardon "i hereby grant the evil queen a temporary pardon"
everyone was shock to say the least i mean that's the same woman who gone off page of her story and cursed wonderland
"your majesty with all due respect how can you trust my mom not to be evil!?" raven said
"yeah!" luffy agreed
"evil? fine i tell you what after this I'll willingly go back to my mirror prison no question after all its not so hard to change" she used her magic and turned rumpelstiltskin into a frog
"yeah right you just turned my teacher into a frog" the evil queen giggled at that
"oh relax raven im going to change him back" she did turned a frog back but not the right one "happy?"
"happy I'll be happy when you do something that's not some part of bargain find me when you do" with nothing else raven left her mom along with the strawhats and darling who gesture's the queen the 'i got my eye on you" gesture and left
MN: the evil queen sure knows how to manipulate snow white
FN: the one weakness always has been Dragon games
apple wanted to follow raven but her mom tells her not to by blocking her
"im sure your daughter will come along" she said then took the evil queens hands as she continues "we two queens will be your coaches tomorrow we will choose your captains teams let us begin a new era of dragon games!" everyone once more gave a big round of cheers so eager to the dragon games hopefully nothing bad will ever happen
"and there you have it subscrollers Dragon games are back" blondie announced
the Schools headmaster and the faculties was still unsure as Giles spoke "pardon for the evil queen b-but why?"
"if our queen snow white vouches for the pardon then who are we to argue?" headmaster shrugs
meanwhile with the strawhats as they were seen walking back to the sunny as usopp spoke
"okay i don't really get what just happened back there but that woman is bad news"
"i can totally relate with raven problems with her mom" said yamato
"if she does anything funny I'll punch her face so hard" luffy swore "think shes off the hook not on my watch"
"that snow white is letting that competition get the best of her never have i ever seen a queen that made such a foolish choice" jinbie said
"the games starts tomorrow so we better keep our eyes open" zoro advised and the crew nods at that
for a moment later they arrived at the sunny chopper Luffy usopp quickly ran to the ship in excitement
franky jumps his way to the ship and smiled "sorry to keep you waiting sunny"
"its almost dark" brook observed the sundown "sanji san when will dinner be ready!" hearing that made luffy perked up
"Hey yeah sanji! whats for dinner!" he shouted so did zoro
"oi eyebrows im hungry
"hold your horses!" sanji shouts "you'll get your meals until i have the ladies first"
"boo" luffy usopp chopper zoro brook booed at that as for the female strawhats also jinbie and franky they Chuckled
meanwhile with the daughter of the dark fairy Faybell thorn was sneaking into a tower near the arena and was snooping around some empty jars when a voice surprised her it was the evil queen
"faybell thorn to what do i owe the honor of a visit from the daughter of the dark fairy" she asked
"a girl could learn alot from someone as intelligent beautiful smart powerful-" she said but the evil queen cuts her off
"what do you want? the truth!"
"i wanna be like you" faybell confessed "make me your dragon riding captain because i was listening to raven and she says theres no way she's gonna be on your team"
"my raven said that" the evil queen frowned
"i would do anything anything to be like you"
hearing that was like a magic word to the evil queen as she smiled wickedly "anything hmm okay you may be of use to me"
she went picked up one of jars containing prof Rumpelstiltskin who was still a frog "there are many teachers her who do not trust me" she shook the jar while frog prof rumpelstiltskin was talking in gibberish inside
"let me share a bit of my dark magic" with a flick of her hand she summoned a bag
"fabelous but what about those pirates"
"your right they may be a big problem to us we'll just see what we can do to them in the mean time i want you to" she leaned in close to Faybells ear and whispers her a plan
"got it"
"It'll be done in a snap your royal wickedness" Faybell sassed a bit before flying out leaving the queen
"everything's according to plan this will set my raven on the path to evil in no time" she cackled before looking out in the Sunset "oh roger how we could've accomplish something together alas your no longer here"
back with the strawhats we find them having dinner together
luffy sneakily grabbing a rice ball from usopp he noticed it and jabs Luffy's hand with his fork as luffy quickly retracts it
"you have your own food luffy stop taking of others food!" usopp scolded
"what no way me" luffy defended himself only to get punched by nami and she shouted "you liar!"
the others let's out a sigh while some find it amusing and continue to digest
after dinner it was time to rest the crew went outside the zoro suddenly jumps off the ship getting the rest of the crew's attention
"where you going zoro?" luffy asked with nami with him
"im gonna take a whiz" he replied
"while your at it make sure to not get lost" sanji advised
"shut up eyebrows" with that zoro left
"1 million berries says he gets lost till morning" usopp bets nami and gives him a smirk "your on usopp"
a few minutes of walking zoro found a tree not far from ever after high he took a long whiz behind the tree when he suddenly saw an unusual light coming from one of the tower
"whats that all about?" he asked with his brows raised "hmm better go check just to make sure" he zipped his pants and went to investigate
thank fully since he use to be the guard of the school he could get in as he walked pass the quite hallways of the school he hear footsteps coming in quickly hiding behind the wall he saw the evil queen coming out from one of the dorms
'thats weird since when does she sneak around the girls dorms?' zoro thought and decided to follow the queen
after following the queen lead him to the new dragon center arena when he got there the evil queen was holding a jar containing three animals one was a frog one was a rat with a red coat and a white cat
once the queen had been done she left and thats when zoro showed himself and went towards the jar "huh and i was expecting skull or something but I didn't know she liked to dress up animals a little weird"
"mr zoro help us!"
"who said that?" zoro asked and looked around
"us!" he looked at the source coming from the three animals inside "how do you know my name and who are you?"
"mr zoro its us the schools faculty pied piper rumpelstiltskin and me her majesty the white queen" said the white cat/queen
"what happened to you all?"
"faybell thorn turned us into animals and trapped us here" said the rat aka prof pied piper
"and she was with the evil queen" the white cat/queen added
zoro wide his eyes in shock "i gotta warn everyone"
"going somewhere?"
he turned and saw the evil queen with a wicked grin on her face
"i was hexpecting you swordsman?" she said slowly walking towards zoro
zoro didn't even show any intimidation on his face as he grip on of his swords
"something tells me all this is part of your scheme of a take over"
the evil queen lets out a cackle "your quite the guesser swordsman tomorrow when the dragon games begin i will unveil my second step in taking over this school of fools starting with getting rid of you and your captain and the rest of you, your all but a thorn on my side"
"hate to break it to you" zoro unsheathed his sword and points at the queen "but im going to stop you right here and dont make me hurt you"
"oh really that would've been fun faybell!"
"huh?"
out of nowhere faybell showed herself with her bag "nighty night mr zoro" she blew a pink dust at zoro it went up in his nose and his entire body turned gray the pink smoke came out of him and transferred to a weasel in a jar
"that was easy" said faybell carrying zoro now a weasel
"just you wait when i get out this! I'll cut you in half!!" zoro/weasel shouted
"oh i wouldn't think so swordsman after all i can't have you telling everyone about this"
"yeah right you seem to forget my captain and the rest are still out there" zoro/weasel warned her as the evil queen playfully poked his jar
"oh they will soon join you and the rest of these fools and my raven will soon join me and i will be the one who laughs last" she let out maniacally laugh with a thunder struck who suddenly boomed in
how will this played out in the end and what chaos could happen tomorrow at the dragon games now with one of the straw hats held captive find out next time
brooke: wait wait no it cant be done! i wanna see what happens neexxt!
MN: brooke we talked about this
brooke: ugh fine dad geez, luffy please win and you too raven
oh boy thats done took me a while now a moment of silence for my favorite comedian actor gilbert Gottfried may your rest in peace also a teaser for the new one piece film red has been released and i have to say im so excited i just cant hide it
