Beware The Big Bad Wolf.

Overwatch was Vi's family, she had accepted them as such, and she loved all of them. However, they were not her first family, she had one long before she ever joined Overwatch, back when she was younger. Many years before Overwatch, Vi was punching a pair of punch mitts. The punch mitts was being worn by a man.

He was a large and muscular middle-aged man with grey eyes, dark hair, and a neatly trimmed greying beard. He was wearing blue trousers, leather boots, a brown leather jacket over a white undershirt, and a leather pauldron on his upper right arm to cover up a scar that he got when he was younger. His name was Vander, the man who had taken Vi in after she lost her parents.

"Not bad Vi, you pack a solid punch. But I see something you need to work on" Vander said as he was blocking Vi's punches with the mitts.

"Oh yeah? And what's that?" Vi asked as she threw another punch. Only for Vander to move the mitt away before smacking Vi in the back with the other, making her stumble and fall on the floor.

"Balance. You focus way to much on your offense, and leave yourself wide open for retaliation. Had this been a real fight, you would've been knocked out by now" Vander said as he removed his punch mitts "You need to work more on you guard, not all opponents will go down quickly, and if they are given the chance to attack, you will be in serious trouble".

"Got it..." Vi said with a sigh.

"That's not your only flaw, Vi. You need to work more on your technique. You are too predictable and straight forward. You need to be more random, keep your opponent guessing and overwhelm them by being to hard to read. Otherwise you will be easily taken down by anyone who is capable of predicting your moves and counter them" Vander continued to explain.

"I'm trying ok? Sorry I'm not on your level yet!" Vi said, sounding annoyed.

"Vi? Is something wrong?" Vander asked, a little surprised by Vi's sudden anger.

Vi sighed as she calmed down "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lash out. It's just that... You've already done so much for me, and I feel like all I do is letting you down".

Vander smiled kindly as he helped her up "You are not letting anyone down, Vi. You are improving more and more everyday. The reason I am teaching you how to fight is so you will be able to defend yourself if needed. If you are lucky, you will never need to put my training to use, but better safe than sorry. The Omnics are far from the only danger out there, sometimes humans can be far worse than any machine".

"So you don't hate the Omnics then?" Vi asked, knowing many people did.

"Why would I? I've seen plenty of Omnics in my life, and not all of them are bad. Just like humans, some are bad and some are good. And I don't look for the bad in everything. But that doesn't mean I won't fight back if forced to" Vander answered.

"If you say so... How many fights have you been in?" Vi asked.

Vander sighed "To many to count... And I will admit, not all of them ended well. I've been forced to do a lot of things I wish I could take back. This is one of the many reasons I took you in, to make sure you never become like me".

"I don't see how becoming like you would be a bad thing" Vi admitted. For as long as she's known him, Vander was always willing to protect those that needed his help. He was like a father and protector to her.

Vander sighed at that "I've made mistakes, and had to learn from them. But one day, those mistakes could come back to haunt me. Fighting for what you believe in is one thing, but you also need to make sure you are fighting the right battle and only if you need to. Violence will not solve all your problems, Vi, and if you are not careful, your actions could have a bad effect on not only your life, but the lives of the people close to you. Always remember that".

Vi thinks about his words and nods "I will, I promise".

Vander smiled before he noticed a child with blue hair and a short hairstyle with one braid "Looks like we have company".

Vi looks and smiles "Hello there Powder".

Vi's younger sister Powder was shyly peeking in to the room "Are you two done training? I didn't want to interrupt".

"No worries sis, we just finished. I just need a shower and then we can play" Vi assured.

Powder smiled, though it was a small glimmer of mischievous in her eyes, which Vi didn't notice. Vi ruffled her hair before heading to the showers, and Powder was giggling a lot.

"Ok Powder, what did you do this time?" Vander asked, knowing something was up.

"Nothing. Just figured Vi would enjoy a nice bath bomb" Powder said innocently.

"Bath bomb? Those are used for baths, not showers" Vander said before an explosion was heard

"POWDER!" Came the voice of an angry Vi.

With that, Powder began running, followed by Vi, who was covered in bubbles. Vander covered his face with his hand. Being a parent was much harder than he imagined. Regardless of the many headaches, they were a happy family...

But that happiness would not last forever.

Suddenly, inside a large test tube, a man was screaming in agony through his oxygen mask, as his body was being forcefully morphing in to something else. Claws were growing out of his hands and his skeletal structure was being re-arranged. As this was going on, a a tall, lanky, and pale man walked in front of him. He was a middle aged man, with brown eyes and receding chestnut colored hair and wore a tattered brown lab coat and suit. He was the one responsible for what was happening.

"So many people believe technology is the future. But I see the potential in human evolution, all we have to do, is move on from our current nature, and embrace what we could become. You might not survive this, but I will learn so much from you, and what we could become, if we only try" He said calmly.

The man in the tube screams in utter agony as his body keeps changing... turning him in to something else.

An unknown time later, Vi had returned to her old home town to investigate brutal murders. Many gang members had been torn apart, and innocent people were living in fear. Vi investigated an area where something had been spotted earlier... dead bodies littered the grounds, like a savage animal and killed them.

The sight made Vi gag, but she was on guard as she checked the bodies... then she heard a low growl... she turned just in time to use her gloves to stop a some kind of beast from tackling her down. She held it back, barely, while it's jaws was snapping just inches away from her face. She struggles for a bit before finally managing to throw the beast away. It skidding across the ground, using it's claws to stop itself before growling at her.

Vi groans trying to get a better look at the beast while steadying her guard. The beast looked a lot like a wolf, but much bigger, and it's body was a little more humanoid. Even it's frontal paws looked more like furry human hands.

"What are you?" Vi demanded.

The wolf like creature didn't answer as it only growls again as it was circling her. And Vi did her best to keep it within view. The Beast snarls and attacks her again. She managed to avoid and punched it, making it slide back. It growls, but wasn't viably injured, and swipes at her again, this time hitting her, leaving a gash on her armor which saved her from a nasty wound. She avoids his claws before punching him in the gut, making him slide back.

He growls, but what he did next shocked her... he spoke "Who taught you how to punch?".

"Did you just talk?" Vi asked in shock, she only knew one other talking animal, and that was Winston. What was this creature?

He snarls before attacking her again. Vi dodged his charge and punched him in the face, before ducking under his claw swing and punched him in the gut. Using her boxing skills, she continued to out manuver him and punching him whenever an opening presented itself. Growing more angry by the second, the Wolf Beast slammed her in to a wall before tossing her in to the ground. She held up her gauntlets to block several slashes from his claws, but they were damaged, and now she was pinned by the terrifying beast.

He looks at her "The fear in your eyes... I've seen it before".

Vi did her best to hold him back, but he was very strong... But she couldn't shake a strange feeling she had. He sounded familiar, like she knew him. But why? Why did she feel this way?

"You are different... your fear... I that of an abandoned child... And your sent... it's familiar" The Creature said as it smelled her... and what he said next was the last thing Vi expected "Violet...".

Vi's eyes became wide with shock. Only a handful of people knew her real name, and she only told her closest friends and family "Who are you!?".

The Wolf creature held his head in pain before howling in to the sky and then quickly ran up and building and vanished.

"NO WAIT!" Vi shouted as she reached out after him, but it was to late.

Could it have been who she thought it was? No... No it couldn't be. He died years ago, Vi held him in her arms when he died... But if it really was him, what happened to him?

Several hours later, it was dark outside and it was pouring rain. The wolf creature was standing on top of an abandoned building, memories of a life he couldn't remember was flooding his mind.

Growing more and more frustrated, he let out an agonizing howl in to the stormy night as the are was lit up by lightning.

Well, it's been a while... I was going to update it after watching Arcane, but so much happened in that series, I didn't know where to begin.

As for my thoughts about the series? To tell you the truth. I have no words that would do this series justice. What I can say is that this series was well worth the wait, even after being delayed for a whole year due to Covid. This series is beyond amazing! Every character was written perfectly, and since Vi is my second favorite League Of Legends character, I am really happy that she was the main character of the first League Of Legends Animated Series. It is a must watch series for anyone who is an League Of Legends fan. Heck, you don't even need to be one to enjoy the series, as it doesn't demand you to have a deep understanding of the lore. You can jump in blind and still enjoy it.

.

And yes, as I'm sure most of you would've guessed by now, the wolf was Warwick. I was originally going to use his Project skin, but I decided to go with his canon look after gaining a much higher opinion of his character.

Tell me what you think Of The Chapter.
