What begins as a fight against a corrupt corporation turns into a struggle for the life of the planet itself. Based on the popular RPG, this is my interpretation of it, fully improvised chapter by chapter from basic notes made from playing the game. Contains violence, mild language, and suggestive themes. The story of FF7 if Zack lived. Shortly after being ambushed outside of Midgar, Zack and Cloud were separated: Zack remained under Turk care, while Cloud - confused from mako poisoning - went missing somewhere on the streets of Midgar. Now Zack has to find Cloud before Shinra or Hojo can, and Cloud has to keep his promise to Tifa... no matter what it takes.

What would happen if two people that feel as if they were born into the wrong universe suddenly find out that they are both part of something much bigger? Their beliefs are tested as they are given the chance to see if they are correct. The age-old question of whether the grass is really greener on the other side will be put to the test.
