When Arthur finally shows signs of life after nearly dying at the Lake of Avalon, Merlin understands why Gwen kissed him when he'd woken from his poisoned fever all those years ago. Nothing had come of that kiss. Will anything come of this one? Rated T for now.

Arthur and the knights depart for King Bors' conference in Paris. Gaius and Merlin go to Rothsborough to deal with a sickness. Gawain and Gwen are sent north by Agravaine on his affairs. In the midst of these departures, Morgana and Agravaine scheme to take Camelot. Morgana sets a trap for Merlin. Meanwhile, Princess Mithian and Prince Accolon stumble into the affair. r & r!

Merlin meets a Girl in Camelot, Mary. She helps Gaius with all his patients and has a sad past. Soon his destiny will be linked to hers. I wrote this story for my teenagers. They were sad that Merlin didn't get a girl. I didn't change much in the story but created an additional character.

Uther decides it's time to take Arthur with him on his annual visit to some of the outlying villages, things don't always go as planned.

There were twigs breaking underfoot and sounds of shouting all around but it was so unclear how close anyone actually was to them. In the end though, it didn't matter how close the knights were. Arrows can hit their target from a great distance when released from a crossbow. (Set in s02e03. Merlin takes an arrow to the side while trying to help Morgana escape.)
