"Hey sorry im a little late Becky, trains were running late and just missed a taxi" Willow said as she hugged her Irish friend. "Its fine Wills. Ive only just got here myself, Seth was hogging the shower this morning" Becky replied as the two women ordered their coffees and sat at a secluded table in the corner of the cafe. "So whats going on with you and Matt? You guys were looking very cosy and flirty the other night" Becky asked as Willow sighed, "Honestly Becks, i dont know. Theres a part of me that will always love him and him pulling off the surprise party along with other events have cemented that. But at the same time i still have feelings for Harriet, i cant just turn them off" Willow said as she sipped her coffee as Becky asked "Whats happened? Start at the beginning" as Willow told her everything that had happened since Harriet left. "Even when he turned up out of the blue, when we were fighting, the spark we had was still there. Then a few weeks ago, we kissed" "Wait, you guys kissed? When?" Becky asked as Willow replied "Just after Harry and I split for the first time. It should never have happened but i cant stop replaying it over and over. Its now gotten to the point where im dreaming about him. Like really intense, vivid dreams, im waking up sweating, panting. Youre the first person ive told about the kiss" Willow replied, not telling her friend about the last two nights. "Then being told im in remission from cancer and Victor finally got arrested. These last few days have been one big blur" "WOW. Thats alot to happen in a few days. No wonder you've been all over the place. Its amazing that youre in remission, i remember how ill you looked last year in New York" Becky said taking a sip of her coffee adding "You looked incredible at the restaurant. So whats next for the cancer? Do you have to still get treatment?" "I have to make an appointment with Dr Britt when i get back home" Willow replied. "What about Victor? Will there be a trial? Will you have to go testify?" Becky asked as Willow shook her head. "According to Officer Steninger, there will be a trial but shes confident that with the evidence they have against him, including my multiple statements and photos, I wont have to go testify. Im still scared that he could force me too" "But you'll have Matt and everyone behind you, myself and Seth included" Becky said before adding "Speaking of Matt, what are you going to do? Its pretty obvious you still love him" "Im not going to do anything. We're still trying to get back on our feet as friends after everything thats happened, i dont want to blur lines with us. I need to focus on my health and the girls. Ready to go hit the gym?" Willow replied, not denying that she still loved Matt as Becky nodded. "Hey before we go, how do you fancy coming backstage to Raw on Monday? I know loads of people have been missing you backstage" she asked as Willow nodded as they headed out of the cafe and to the gym.
"I forgot how much i hate crossfit!" Willow said, breathless as she and Becky lay on the gym floor. "But it does feel good being back in a gym again" she added as Becky sat up and said "Wills i need to ask you something. It's going to be a long shot even asking you but Vince has let slip that at Mania next year he wants to do a War Games match. Team Total Divas vs Team... im going to call it Talent. So far its the Bellas and Reby..." "Wait, Rebys at WWE? Since when?" Willow asked, shocked at this new information. "You didnt know? Shes been there for about three, maybe four months. As far as im aware, shes had nothing to do with Matt but someone higher up sure loves her" Becky replied, Willows head spinning at the revelation her nemesis was now a part of the company she had worked for and loved for so many years. "If it was up to me Wills, she never would have got through the door. Anyways back to War Games..." Becky said as Willow cut her off. "Count me in. If i get to punch her in the face after everything that bitch has done, it'll all be worth it!" she said as Becky hugged her, "I knew i could count on you Wills. We would need to clear it with Vince, but im sure he'll love to have you back. And we will also keep it a secret until the night" "If theres something im excellent at its keeping secrets" Willow replied as Becky looked at her "I didnt mean it like that Wills" she said as Willow shook her head. "I know you didnt Becks, it's just ive kept so many secrets over the years its the one thing ive really excelled in. From being pregnant with Jas to my fling with Seth in New York, to my cancer battle. I kept that a secret from Matt and the fans" she replied as Becky hugged her. "Do you want to tell them?" she asked as Willow replied "I wouldnt even know where to begin. How deep would i go? What do i tell them, what do i omit? Does it bother you i slept with Seth and now you two are together?" "Anything you want Wills. Maybe do a video and start from your time in New York. But its up to you, and it doesnt bother me. You guys were over long before i was in the picture" Becky said as Willow nodded, giving her something to think about.
"MOMMA!" Jasmine yelled as she ran into the house later that night. "Hey beautiful, did you have fun at the zoo today?" Willow asked as Jasmine climbed on the sofa and hugged her. "We did momma, you would have loved it. We got to feed all the penguins and saw gorillas and lots and lots of animals. Daddy got pictures" Jasmine said as Matt entered the room carrying a sleeping Ruby. "No mom or Adam?" Willow asked as Matt shook his head. "Im going to go put her down, then i'll tell you whats going on" he said as Willow nodded. Jasmine quickly picked up on the tension between her parents and asked "Momma, are you happy with daddy being here?" "I am Jas, more for you and Rubes building up a relationship with him. More importantly im happy that you and your sister are here with me" Willow replied as she held her daughter and said "Why dont you tell me everything you guys got up to today?" as Jasmine began to tell her all about the days adventures. Jasmine had been talking for almost fifteen minutes when Matt returned from putting Ruby to bed. "Hey Jas, its getting late, ready for bathtime and sleepy time?" He asked, seeing that Willow was looking tired. "Kay dadda, but give me ten more minutes with momma for cuddles. I misses her today" Jasmine replied as Willow smiled. "I love our cuddle time Jas, but dad is right. Its getting late for you and it is bedtime. "Will you read me a story daddy?" Jasmine asked as Matt picked her up. "Of course Jas. Talk when i get back Wills?" he said as Willow nodded. As Matt headed upstairs, Willows cell vibrated on the table. She picked it up and read the message from Elly
Staying in London tonight as the concert doesnt finish till late. Hope you had a fun day with Becks, catch up tomorrow.
Willow quickly typed a reply and headed to the kitchen and put the kettle on, with Matt reappearing a few minutes later. "She was out as soon as she hit the pillow" he said as Willow grabbed two mugs. "Coffee? Elly and Phil are staying in London tonight, they wouldnt get back here until 2am at the earliest in a taxi" she asked as he nodded, walking over to her and gave her a kiss. "So how was today with Becky?" he asked as she passed him his coffee before heading back into the living area. "Today was good. May have slightly overdone it in the gym, but it was nice to catch up with Becky, she had a proposition for me and she told me something which im kind of surprised you didnt" Willow said as Matt looked at her confused. "Reby at WWE. She been there for a few months" "I had no idea Wills. Ive not seen her or dealt with her there. Maybe shes down in the PC" Matt replied before asking "So what was this proposition?" "Vince wants to do a War Games match at Mania next year. Team Total Divas vs Team Anti total divas or whatever you want to call it. Total Divas so far has three confirmed members, Nikki Brie and Reby. So far Becky is the only one confirmed for the other team..." "And Becky wants you to join her side? Im guessing you said yes automatically" Matt said as Willow nodded. "It'll be two years since anyone has seen me and it'll be an amazing surprise return. It'l be interesting to see if i can still go in the ring after everything ive been through with the cancer" she replied as Matt added "And you'll get to punch Reby after everything too" "Cant say she doesnt deserve it" Willow replied as she continued "Becky also invited me to Raw on Monday so im going to go see everyone and run my return by Vince to see if he agrees" "Wills, he'd kill to have you back" Matt said as he moved closer to her. "Can we keep this between us for now?" Willow asked as Matt nodded. "So Elly and Phil are away for the night, Jeff, Trish, Brooke and Christian are across the road. Amy, Adam and Nevaeh have gone out for food and to see Aladdin at the theatre. They wont be back till late, both girls are asleep" Matt said as Willow flirtily suggested "why dont we go upstairs and carry on from the last two nights before they return?"
"I dont want this to end, but we should go downstairs and wait for mom and Adam to return. Dont want them to be getting any ideas about us do we?" Willow said as she lay in Matts arms. "I dont want this to end either Wills but youre right. Amy and Adam will be home soon and i know youre not ready for people to know about us" Matt replied as he kissed her. "You know how much i hate this though right? I just dont want everyone talking about us, im pretty sure that mom and Trish are already suspicious after my birthday. So is Becky" Willow said as Matt climbed out of bed and dressed quickly. "Remember when you used to watch me dress and leave your room quickly after our hook ups? Before we got together..." Willow asked as Matt nodded. "You know even all the way back then i was battling feelings for you. I didnt know how to act around you, or even if you felt the same way. I also didnt want to be seen as taking advantage of you after you split with..." Matt said as Willow shook her head. "Dont say his name. I never want to hear it again" she said as she sat up in bed. "And i was also battling feelings for you, even back then. I just didnt want to be seen as a slut, jumping into bed with the first guy who showed me any sort of affection. We wasted so much time instead of talking to each other" "But we found each other didnt we Wills? We seem to keep finding each other. And youre not a slut, you never were" Matt replied as he sat on the edge of the bed, brushing the hair out of her face before kissing her. "I think im going to do a video Matt, explaining where ive been this past year and about my cancer. I just dont know how much i want to delve into what happened with us" she blurted out as Matt kissed her. "Tell them whatever you want, its your story babygirl" he said as Willow sighed. "Come on, lets go watch a movie before Amy and Adam get back he said as Willow got ready and the two reunited lovers headed downstairs.
Amy, Adam and Nevaeh returned just after midnight. Willow had fallen asleep on the sofa, with Matt covering her with a blanket as they entered the room. "She ok Matt?" Amy asked as Adam took Nevaeh up to bed. "I think the last few days have taken a lot out of her. She was pretty out of it when I returned with the girls" Matt replied, as Amy sat on the sofa opposite. "You two seem to be getting on better lately" Amy said as Matt sat on the old armchair. "We're working on being friends for the girls. Wills is still healing from the cancer treatments and from the breakup with Harriet" he replied as he glanced at his ex wife, his current lover. "I think the shock of Victor being arrested has played on her mind too. She wont admit it but shes scared that she'll have to go and testify even though shes been told she wont" he added as Amy picked up on his feelings for her daughter. "You still love her dont you?" Amy asked, just as Adam came back down the stairs, as Ruby started to cry in her room. "I'll go check on her" Matt said as he headed upstairs, Willow awoke. "Hey sleepy, you ok?" Amy asked as Willow sat up. "Im ok Mom, just tired. How was the show?" she said, yawning and stretching. "The show was good. Wills, why dont you go on up to bed? Matt said youve been out for a while" Amy said as Willow nodded. "Where is he anyways?" she asked as Adam replied "Hes up with Ruby. She started crying not long after we got back" "Im just going to go say goodnight to him, before i head to bed" she said as she made her way upstairs. As she disappeared out of view Adam faced Amy and said "Ok, what is going on with those two?"
"Hey im going to head to bed. Want to come join me later?" Willow said flirtily as Matt left Rubys room. "I'd love nothing more Wills. But is it wise tonight? I think Amys already suspicious of us" he replied as she pulled him into her bedroom and kissed him. "I hate sleeping without you here. " she whispered as they pulled apart, Matt could tell that something was bothering her and kissed her forehead. "I can tell something is bothering you. I'll come up after Amy and Adam have gone to bed and we can talk" he replied as Willow nodded. "I guess i just didnt expect to fall back in love with you this quickly after everything" Willow said quietly, before adding "Why dont you have the spare room tonight? Just with Elly and Phil not being here, it'll be easier to use as a cover" as Matt kissed her again. "Are you sure Wills?" he asked as she nodded. "Im sure Matt, now go down and stop those two from talking about us" she said as she kissed him one last time, watching him leave the room she sat on the edge of the bed. What the fuck am i doing? Im still hurting from Harry and im jumping into bed with my ex. I love Matt, but im still a mess. I wanna shout it out loud that we're back together but at the same time, i want to keep us a secret. I guess i still have some stuff to figure out in my head she thought as she climbed into bed and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
