The next few days flew by, with Matt and Willow continuing to sleep together in secret. They never had the chance to continue their conversation as Willow was fast asleep when Matt checked in on her and thought it would be best to let her sleep. It was Monday and Willow would soon be going backstage at Raw, she was yet to tell Matt and the others she was going wanting to keep it a surprise for them. "Hey mom, are you ok to watch the girls tonight?" Willow asked as Amy looked at her. "You going somewhere Wills?" she asked as Willow nodded. "Becky asked me to go to Raw and im going. Plus I need to have a chat with Vince" she replied, holding back on the part about a potential return at Wrestlemania. "You kept that quiet Wills" Adam said as Matt came down stairs and asked "kept what quiet?" "Im coming along to Raw with you guys. Im having a catch up with Vince" Willow replied as Matt knew why she was really going. "So im meeting Vince, watching the show, backstage i might add and then we can come back here together?" she suggested as the two men nodded. "Head off in an hour or so?" Adam asked as Matt nodded. "Phil, Elly and Jeff are already there. Christian and Brooke will be there in a bit. Trish is going to come over here once the twins are awake" he said as Willow suddenly bolted out of the living room, into the kitchen and threw up. Matt followed her into the kitchen and held her hair back, noticing the small yet faint amount of blood in her vomit. "You ok Wills? Are you sure you want to come to Raw?" he asked as Willow nodded, turning the tap on to wash away any remaining vomit. "Im ok Matt. Its just me being nervous at going there. It feels like my first show day all over again" she said as she took a glass and filled it with water. Taking slow sips as Matt sat her down at the table. "You sure youre ok? " he asked as Willow nodded. "Like i said, its just nerves. Probably the last remaining drugs in my system too" she replied, drinking the rest of the water. "Give me half an hour to get cleaned up and changed and we'll head off ok" she said as Matt nodded. Following her back into the living room, watching as she headed upstairs to change Amy asked "Is she ok? I heard her throwing up" "Shes ok. Just a bit nervous about Raw and her meeting with Vince. There was a little bit of blood in there, but Wills said its just the last of ther cancer drugs causing it" Matt replied as Amy and Adam looked at him. "What? What is it?" He asked as Adam said "You still care for her. The way you've looked after her last night and checking on her just then, its pretty obvious to everyone youre still in love with her" But before he had a chance to reply, Willow returned downstairs in her extreme ripped jeans and a leopard print shirt. "Ready to go?" she asked, Matt unable to keep his eyes off her, as the two men nodded, grabbing their gear bags the three friends headed out of the house, leaving Amy to think about what is going on with her daughter and her ex.
"WILLS! You came" Becky said as she ran up to her friend and hugged her. "Of course i came, couldnt refuse your offer. Plus its been a while since ive been to the O2 arena" Willow said, smiling for the first time in as many weeks. "What offer would that be?" Adam asked, not knowing that it was Becky who had asked Willow to come. "My offer for Wills to come today" Becky replied as Willow added, "I couldnt resist not coming to see everyone. Ive missed being here" "And we've missed you Willow" a friendly voice said behind her. "Hi Vince. Its been a while" Willow said as her boss hugged her. "Youre looking healthy compared to the last time i saw you" Vince said as Willow nodded and replied "Its been a crazy couple of years. Are you ready to go have that chat Vince?" "Im ready any time Willow. Becky you might need to join us for part of the conversation" Vince said as Willow turned to face Matt and Adam and said "I think i'd rather get this conversation out of the way. I'll catch up with you two later, dont tell anyone that im here especially Reby. Ready to go Becks?" as Becky nodded and followed Vince down to his makeshift office in the UK.
"Come on in girls, make yourselves comfortable" Vince said as the two red heads sat down. "So i assume Becky has told you about our big womens match for next years Mania?" Vince asked Willow, who nodded. "I already told her to count me in. Especially when i found out that bitch is working here" she said as Vince looked at her. "Reby. I know shes working here" "Yes she is. I know that you two have history..." Vince said as Willow cut him off "History? Vince you dont know the half of it" she said angrily as Becky said "Wills, tell him after ive gone. Focus on Mania" "Sorry Vince, Reby just winds me up. Please continue with the Mania plans" Willow said apologetically. "Its fine Willow. We can discuss this after like Becky suggested." Vince said as he continued "so Mania will be a War games match, the cast of Total Divas vs Non Total Divas. Becky will be the leader of Non Divas and will decide who to have on her team, with my approval of course. She obviously chose you for a reason" he said as Becky added "I dont want to go down the 'oh shes going to choose Char, Sasha and Bayley' route. I want the toughest women out there and Willow is one of the toughest women i know" "How about Rhea Ripley? Ive seen her at it and she can go hard" Willow suggested as Vince nodded. "That is a great shout Willow. Rhea could be an amazing call up. So that would be Becky, Rhea, and yourself against Nikki, Brie, Reby with the others yet to be determined. How does that sound?" Vince asked as both women nodded. "Can we keep my return a secret Vince? I'd like to surprise everyone involved, and the fans too" Willow asked as it was Vinces turn to nod in agreement. "That sounds like a plan Willow. Now that is out of the way, Becky can you leave us please so we can have this long overdue catch up" he said. As Becky stood up to leave she asked "Want me to wait for you Wills? Walk you back to Matt and Adam later?" "I'll be fine Becks" Willow replied as Becky left the room, closing the door behind her leaving Willow and Vince alone for the first time in almost eighteen months.
"So whats been going on with you since i saw you last Willow?" Vince asked, "how are the girls?" "The girls are great. Jas has thrived over here and Ruby is a handful. I wont lie though Vince, its been a really tough year and ive struggled badly" Willow said quietly as Vince said "Tell me everything Willow. Starting from your time in New York" Willow sighed as she poured her heart out to her boss. Telling him everything that had gone on, including Reby poisoning Jasmine. "It was so, so hard seeing Matt and her together, it was even worse after that night at the hospital" She said as she continued "Meeting Harriet was the best thing thats happened to me after such a brutal six months. I fell for her and then Matt turned up out of the blue and she left so abruptly, literally left me in bed in the middle of the night, i was a mess. So i ended up self harming really deeply. It was only when Matt caught me with a knife in my arm did i realise how fucked up i really was. He had to practically force me to let go of the knife. Hes been so good with the girls, rebuilding their relationships and giving me time to recover from the cancer" she said, feeling the tears forming in her eyes. "And are you ok now?" Vince asked as Willow nodded. "Im getting there. I got the call on my birthday to say im in remission" she said as Vince cut her off "Oh Willow that is wonderful news!" "I have to make an appointment with Dr Britt when i go back to North Carolina. Im also going to go back to therapy. I went down a really dark path for a while, and i was diagnosed with anxiety and depression" she said, surprising Vince with her annoucement of moving back to the USA. "Are you moving back in with Matt and are you two together?" he asked as Willow shook her head. "Im going to be in Vass. I couldnt move back in with Matt, back to the house. Too many memories" she replied, feeling a tear roll down her face as she continued, lying "and no, we arent together. Its too complicated and messy to go down that route. Im focussing on me and the girls right now" "And have you had any more harrassment from Vic..." Vince began to say as Willow smiled for the first time, cutting him off. "He got arrested at Charlotte Douglas airport. He had a bag of god knows what screaming and threatening about coming to find me and kill me" "Wow. We knew he was unhinged and psychopathic. Theres absolutley no chance for him to escape this time?" Vince replied as Willow shook her head. "Solitary confinement. No vistors except his lawyer and hes not allowed to speak to anyone other than the guards. There will be a trial but i shouldnt have to testify" she sighed, trying to take some deep breaths. "Sorry Vince, im just a bit overwhelmed. Its just with everything thats happened, i never expected to be sitting here with you right now planning a return. Even if it is just a one off appearance" she added as Vince replied. "Its ok Willow. Ive known you a long time. Ive seen you during the highs and lows, you're allowed to be overwhelmed. As for your return, keep building your strength and work on your moves. We may need you for more than one night" "Can we take it one day at a time Vince? And keep my return a secret? I want those bitches to be surprised" she asked as Vince nodded. "Of course we can Willow. For what its worth, Reby is just another pretty face with not alot of talent. Shes on a potential list to be axed. Oh we will need Matt for the remainder of the european tour" Vince said as Willow felt her heart dropping at losing her time with Matt for the forseeable future. "Keep her on till Mania, i'll beat her ass and can i be the one to fire her?" She said "We'll see Willow. Now go enjoy the show, and i'll catch up with you in a few months. Maybe with another proposition for you" Vince said as he and Willow hugged, before she headed out of the makeshift office and headed back to Matts locker room.
On the way back to the locker room, Willow was met by Natalya, Paige, Charlotte, Alexa, Naomi, and various other women from the division who were so happy to see her backstage. "Does this trip mean youre back Willow?" Natty asked as she hugged her friend. "Im not Nat. I just missed you guys over this last year. Just dont tell a certain someone im here" Willow replied as Bayley, Sasha and Becky entered the locker room. "So whats been happening this last year? Tell us all the gossip" Layla asked as Willow told them everything, from New York to present day. Not mentioning who she slept with in New York or about her return in less than a year. "Wow, youve been through a hell of a year Wills. No wonder you dont want her knowing youre here" Paige said, finally hugging her fellow brit. "And whats going on with you and Matt now? You guys back together or what?" Naomi asked as Willow shook her head. "We're working on being civil and friendly for the sake of the girls. Im not looking for a relationship right now, i need to focus on getting 'me' back. Being here has helped alot tonight" she said before adding "Enough about me, how are all you guys doing"
"So you and Wills have been acting pretty cosy this past week. Anything going on there?" Adam asked as he and Matt entered the locker room. "We're just friends. Wills has made it perfectly clear that theres no chance for us. Shes focussing on her health and the girls. They are the most important things right now" Matt said, lying to his best friend. "Even though its clear to everyone that you both harbour feelings for each other?" Adam said as Matt sighed. "You know i love her, always have. Thats why im not pushing anything on her. She needs time to heal and the best thing i can do for her is just to be a dad to my girls" he said, sick of having the same conversation over and over. "I know shes terrified of potentially having to go testify against Victor too" "I thought she was told she wouldnt have too" Adam said as Matt continued "She was, but she was also told she wouldnt have to go to Deans parole hearing and remember how that turned out" "I remember. I remember her being exhausted, physically and mentally" Adam said as he heard the door handle being turned. "Hey guys, sorry i was a while" Willow said as she walked into the room. "Its ok Wills, did you have a good chat with Vince?" Adam asked as Willow nodded, "And a really good catch up with the girls" she replied adding "And i managed not to run into she who will not be named" as their cells began to ping and vibrate with the news that Willow was currently backstage at Raw, in an undisclosed role. "How do they always find out where i am?" Willow sighed as she sat on the sofa. "Looks like someone saw you and leaked it" Matt said as he sat next to her. "Great, just what i didnt want. People speculating over me" she said as Adam put his arm around her. "People do it all the time with your mom. If shes ever coming back. Same with Trish" Willow didnt respond as there was an announcement that the show would be starting soon, and that was the cue for Matt and Adam to get ready.
The show flew by, with Matt and Adam winning their respective matches and along with Willow were on their way back to the house by 10:30. Adam noticed that Willows eyes were closed and she was leaning her head on Matt. "Hey Wills, wake up. We're almost home" Matt said quietly as Willow fluttered her eyes open. As she looked out the front window of the car she let out a groan. "How did they know i was here? I havent seen those bitches in years" she said quietly as Matt asked "Who are they?" "Kristen and Jenna. Jenna was my best friend until she slept with..." She replied not wanting to say Deans name. "Will you play along and act like your still my husband?" she asked as Matt nodded. "Hey Ads, Why dont you head inside, be with mom and the girls. I'll explain who they are in the house later" she said as Adam nodded. They got out of the car, Willow slipping her hand into Matts, they began the walk up the long driveway to the house. "Willow?! Is it really you?" Jenna asked as Willow tried to ignore them. "She always a rude bitch" Kristen added as Willow spun around and yelled "What the fuck do you want from me? You were a bitch all the way through school to me Kristen and you... Jenna, you fucked my boyfriend behind my back for four months, probably longer" "How is Deany dearest anyways?" Kristen asked mockingly. "Rotting in a cell as far as im concerned. I want nothing to do with him after the stunts hes pulled over the years" Willow snarled back, feeling her cell vibrate in her pocket. She took it out for a quick glance before putting it away. "Everything ok Wills?" Matt asked quietly, as Willow nodded. "Just Nat, Becks, Paige and some of the other guys and girls saying it was really good to see me and if im ok after it got out i was backstage. I'll reply later"
"Although i should thank you Jenna. If you hadnt fucked Dean, then I wouldnt be with Matt and have our two kids" Willow said, as Jenna replied, a hint of sadness and regret in her voice "Im so, so sorry for that. He told me you two had split and were just friends" as Kristen taunted "Still didnt stop you from making a sex tape with him though did it?" "The one he recorded and released without Willows permission?" Matt replied, suddenly feeling protective of his ex wife. "Our Dean wouldnt have!" Kristen added as Willow said "Oh but he did. After i had an incredibly hellish year, but you really dont need to hear about how i was kidnapped, raped, tortured and abused on a daily basis for 7 months. Not knowing if i was going to see anyone again. But like i say, you dont need to hear it and quite frankly, you two bitches are so stuck in the past and need to move on from me. Im not your victim anymore" Willow said as she pulled Matt in for a passionate kiss in front of them. Willow heard Kristen and Jenna scoff at her and Matt kissing, just as they heard the front door open and a little voice calling out "Momma! Dadda!" as Jasmine came running over to them. "Hey beautiful, its late why are you not asleep in bed yet?" Willow asked as she picked up Jasmine. "I was waiting for you momma. I want you to sing me to sleep" "Hey, can you take her in Matt, i'll be in in a minute. Just got to get rid of some pests" Willow asked as she passed Jas to him, where he nodded before heading into the house. Kristen and Jenna staring in shock at her young daughter. "What are you two still doing here? Go away, leave me alone. If you even think about contacting me, bothering me or my family, police will be called. Now, ciao adios im done with the two of you" Willow said as she headed into the house as her two former tormentors stared at the house and the woman who had just gave them hell. That was not the Willow they had once known.
