Chapter 2 the new start.
After Hana headed towards the light at the end of the tunnel she shot up awake in her bedroom with cold sweat."Was all that a dream?" She wondered "Of course it was, jinn's in lamps aren't real so there's no way tha..." Hanas sentence was cut off as she noticed that her bedroom had another bed right next to hers, with someone in it. The person in the bed started moving and soon stood up awake, Hana had tears in her eyes as she recognised who the young man in the bed was.
"H...Haru?" she asked with joy and hope that this wasn't a dream, and the person in the bed was indeed Hana's deceased love Haru. Haru notice his name being said and turned his head to Hana's direction and noticed her in the bed next to him. "Hana?" asked Haru not knowing why he's seeing the girl he fell in love with but didn't bother to ask as he was so happy to see Hana again that he got out of bed and slowly walked out of bed towards Hana.
After a few minutes of silence Haru and Hana finally embraced one another, both feeling so much joy being in each other's arms. Soon Haru and Hana slowly loosen their embrace so they can see each other's faces then Hana notices both of haru's eyes weren't amber."Haru, your left eye... it's" Hana was so shocked that she couldn't finish her sentence because it turns out even though time has been reset Haru still had heterochromia eyes. Haru then said "My eyes aren't the problem, what happened, how did you... you know?" Hana was confused on what Haru was trying to say. "How did I what?" asked Hana as she noticed that Haru was starting to look upset. "How did you... die?" said Haru starting to form tiers in his eyes.
Hana then realized that Haru still thinks he's in the afterlife and she must've died recently, Hana wiped away Haru's tiers and said "This isn't the afterlife Haru, this is... well the life, your alive again Haru and that means Hook is alive too and Choco and Miho"
Before Hana could finish her sentence Haru shook Hana a little to calm her down then asked "Wait I'm alive how, Also Hook, Miho and Choco are alive too, what's going on?"
After Haru finished talking the two lovers heard their father Mr. Lee scream outside of their bedroom "Was that dad?" Asked Haru as he hadn't heard his father's voice in months, Hana and Haru ran outside of their bedroom to see their father standing on the doorway of his bedroom with a scared pale face looking at the person in the doorway in front of his.
Hana and Haru turned their attention to the other person; it was Miho who seemed just as scared as Mr. Lee, then both the father and assistant turned their heads and noticed both Hana and Haru were in the hallway.
Mr. Lee was even more shocked when he finally noticed Haru, his son who passed away a few months ago standing next to Hana.
Mr. Lee then said "First Miho and now Haru, what is going on? The last thing I remember was trying to cheer Mungchi up and then... I was in bed?" "Maybe both you and Hana passed away somehow without realising it, that would explain why we are all here, right Miho?" Said Haru as he was trying to find a logical explanation.
Miho turned to Haru and said "But Haru, the afterlife doesn't have our own home, it's just infinite beautiful nature all around." Mr. Lee turned to his daughter and said "Hana you don't seem as scared as me, what is going on?"
Hana was starting to have tiers of joy knowing that she really could change everyone's fates, she wiped her tiers away and said "its okay dad, I changed our fates, all of our deceased friends will live to see a better world."
Mr. Lee was so confused on what his daughter just said, the only way something like this could've happened was... He look at Hana then asked "Hana, did you found an ancient Arabian lamp in the cellar of our shed?"
Hana then remembered all about the jinn "Oh that's right, when the jinn was granting my wish he soon looked scared and wanted me to find his lamp." She said. This confused both Haru and Miho as they don't know what a Jinn is.
Mr. Lee stood up that ran past his children, down the stairs seeming really worried about something. Hana, Haru and Miho all seemed confused so they decided to follow him and found the man in front of the sheds door.
Mr. Lee turned to Hana and said "There was a reason why the door to the cellar was hidden, do you know what you have done and only one person knows what that is."
Haru and Miho were so confused on what Mr. Lee and Hana are talking about so Haru asked "What's a Jinn?" then said "They're like genies Haru, but their mortal, they only grant 3 wishes and live in lamps. However after meeting one and making your first wish, you would sometimes wished you'd never met them."
Hana was confused on why you should be scared of Jinns "What's so wrong with a wish granter dad, isn't it a good thing that Haru and Miho are back, shouldn't you be happy seeing your assistant and son again?" She asked getting confused on why her father sees this as a bad thing.
Mr. Lee then opened the shed door and said "I am happy to see Haru and Miho again Hana believe me, but when a jinn grants a wish for every action we make there must always be a reaction, think about it, if I had a wish granting jinn the entire time why didn't I wished to save all the Werewolves being killed?"
Hana was starting to understand what her father was trying to say while both Miho and Haru are still confused on what's going on. Mr. Lee then beckoned his family to come into the shed.
The Werewolves were still confused on what's going on so Haru asked "I still don't get it, what's happening?" Hana, after coming out of shock, said "I was... I was so grief stricken that I... I didn't felt ready to keep playing the violin you bought me, so after... putting it back in the shed I slipped a step on the ladder, found a door to the sheds cellar, went down, found an old Arabian lamp in the cellar room and found out a Jinn was inside, after learning I could make wishes I wished for time to go back 7 months ago a few days before Werewolves could go to school and only those closes to both of our hearts would remember the previous time line that way we can change your fates."
Both Haru and Miho were shocked learning that Hana would really go as far as change time itself just because of grief, Haru and Miho instantly forgiven her and Haru said "It's okay Hana, you just didn't know what to do, I don't blame you at all, but what does dad mean by 'reaction'?"
Mr. Lee soon spoke and said "To simply put it, if I wished I had something valuable something else of equal value must be taken away, I don't know what reaction of Hana's wish would be but the jinn would know because he granted it." As Haru and Miho were starting to understand on what's going on a question started to form in Miho's mind "Wait, how did you get a wish granting jinn in the first place and how do you know of the side effects of the wishes."
After Miho asked her question she then saw Mr. Lee face has a mixture of sadness depression and regret making Miho realized that he must've did something that would terrify anyone. Mr. Lee looked at Miho and said "That's a story for another time, but right now we must be prepared on what troubles we are going to face together."
Mr. Lee then rolled the shed's carpet revealing the cellars door, he grabbed a flash light inside on the boxes, turned on the flash light and went down stairs to the cellar room. After a moment has past Mr. Lee brought the Arabian lamp containing the Jinn.
"All our questions will now be answered." Said Mr. Lee as he rubbed the lamp then smoke started to emerge from it, the smoke soon took the form of a body creating the bluish greenish Jinn from within the lamp. The Jinn took a look around and noticed Hana, he bent down to her while still levitating and said "Hi master Hana, I'm glad you came back because I do need to tell you about your wish's reaction, also do you have any relation to my previous master who is holding my home right now?"
Hana was glad to know that her new Jinn friend still remembers and answered his question "Well yeah, your previous master is my dad, but that's not important right now, what's important is that you need to tell us of the reaction of the wish's action."
The Jinn sat down on one of the boxes and said "Okay let's get this over with then, now as you recall master Hana you made your 1 wish a 2 parter a single thing split into 2, the first part of your wish was for time to reset itself 7 months ago a few days before the Werewolves were attending school so you can change Haru's, Hook's, Miho's and Choco's fates and the funny thing is that that would be the only wish I've ever granted without any reaction."
This surprised the Lee family because it made no sense to them "But my dad said if you wish for something you want something of equal value must be taken away." Said Haru as he now has more questions than before. The Jinn looked at Haru and said "True but time works in mysterious and complicated ways that changing it has no positive nor negative reactions, trust me it's more complicated than Dr. Who and that series is confusing as hell."
The Lee family are starting to agree as they know the true fundamentals of time would never be discovered. After a moments of silence the Jinn then continued "There is something you should know though Hana, the second half of the wish Hana said the only people closest to hers and Haru's hearts would remember the previous time line." This scared Hana a little as she doesn't know what would the second half's reaction is going to be.
The Jinn took a deep breath and said "The people who are closest your hearts aren't just your closest friends and family, they are also your worst enemies, people you hate and fear the most are going to remember the previous time line too."
Hana took a step back on what she heard and trying to process it in her mind 'Worst Enemies, then that means Jeff is going to remember and no doubt the warden and his 3 white suited henchmen will remember!' Hana thought as she was worried everything will go bad maybe worse for everyone because of her.
Haru then put his hand on Hana's shoulder and said "Don't worry Hana, I'm sure our fates can change for the better and when it does we can finally be in a world were humans and Werewolves can be together." Hana smiled at Haru and the two shared a comforting hug.
Haru turned his head to face the Jinn and asked "Mr. Jinn, I realized I'm as tall as the time I got my heterochromia eye, plus I've got said eye too, what happened?" The Jinn faced Haru and said "Well Hana did wish to change your fate, so I turned your body into its prime 7 months ago, taller, physically stronger, plus you've now got your heterochromia eye that'll give you more strength." Haru then realized that the Jinn was right with his new strength plus the heterochromia eyes he will be strong enough to save everyone this time.
After Mr. Lee put the lamp back in the sheds cellar room then came back up the steps he hid the cellar door once again, the Lee family soon went back inside the house and once again tried to process on what's going on until Miho saw the calendar and said "Oh no, Miss Hana it's a school day, you need to get dressed, and you need to get ready for work master." Both Hana and her father realized it was Monday and Hana only had 1 hour before school starts so she took Haru's hand and ran upstairs so she can get changed leaving both Mr. Lee and Miho in the kitchen.
Mr. Lee looked at Miho and said "I... I'm sorry Miho... it's all my fault, if I... if I just didn't sent Haru away none of this would've happened." He soon slump on the floor still not forgiving himself for sending his son to the shelter. Miho placed her hands on his shoulders and said "Just shut up and pay attention to what's happening now, with our knowledge of the future we can prevent a lot of terrible things that are going to happen, if you want to be a better father than you were before then stop moping, stand up and do something none hypocritical."
Mr. Lee knew Miho was right, he stood up and said "You're right Miho... I'm sorry, now let's get ready for work." As the two were walking upstairs Miho then said "We should also find a way to fix Haru's heterochromia eyes." Mr Lee agreed as he realised Haru can't leave the house since the warden has a large secret search party for heterochromia Werewolves.
Meanwhile back in Haru and Hana's bedroom "Whoa really, dad got the collars off of Werewolves?" Said Haru as he was listening to Hana's stories a few months after his passing, he had his back turned because Hana was getting changed. Hana then said "Plus your friend Mungchi was put on probation so me and dad were now taking care of him... I hope he's okay?" Hana realized this is the week were Mungchi accidently harmed his adopted baby brother and was sent to the Eden shelter.
"Me too." Said Haru as he is now worried about his friend, but then another family members face came across his mind "OH CRAP, HOOK IS PROBABLY BEING BEATEN TO DEATH RIGHT NOW!" Shouted Haru as he got off his bed and barged pass the door, Hana grabbed Haru's wrist trying to stop him and said "Haru think about it, if everyone on the streets saw your eyes the warden will find you and put your head on his wall!"
Haru turned his head to face Hana and said "But hook, he's" Before Haru could finish his sentence Mr. Lee who was putting his tie on said "Hana's right Haru, it's too dangerous for you to be in public with your heterochromia eyes, I'll get you some coloured contact lenses on my way back from work, that way you can attend school soon."
Haru calmed down and said "I'm sorry dad, I just... I just don't want hook to suffer again." Mr. Lee walked towards Haru, held his adopted son and said "I'm worried about him too, but it's okay, I promise Hook is going to live here in no time." He soon paid his attention to his daughter and said "And Hana, put your shirt on please." Hana then remembered she only has her skirt and bra on then ran back into her bedroom slamming the door.
Once Hana, Mr. Lee and Miho got changed they all faced Haru, Hana says "I'll be back right after school Haru and I'm going to make sure I stay away from that monster Jeff." Haru walked up to Hana and said "Stay safe, okay?" Hana nodded and the two shared a quick kiss goodbye.
After that Hana walked out the front door while waving her goodbye. Haru turned to his dad and said "You promise to check on Mungchi right?" Mr. Lee nodded and said "Of course Haru I already consider him family, but I might be late coming home since it'll be difficult trying to find Hazel coloured contacts." Miho was next to speak "Plus with our knowledge of the future it'll be easier to beat senator Yoon in the election."
After that Haru waved off both his father and Miho when they were off for work.
After Haru saw them drive off He ran upstairs to his closet and got his red sleeveless hoodie on so he can hide both his choker and wolf ears. 'as long as everyone thinks I'm a human they won't care about me having heterochromia eyes, I can't just stay at home knowing my fucking brother is being tortured!' thought Haru as he climbed over the fence of his back yard going to the yoon house to see if his twin brother is okay.
'Don't worry hook, I'm going to save you, and this time we will live in the beach in the future, with all of our friends!' Thought Haru as he ran in the distance nobody minding him because they all think he's human.
