This one may come off as a bit shorter. But few next ones should be longer. At least the ones from chapter 5 onwards. But we'll see.

Chapter 3
"That time Lucifero fucked up"

"Fucked up my lord?"

Those words were full of confusion. And who can blame him? Lucifero is their lord and master, even he knows that so hearing about him "fucking up" is rather strange. But it was clear that he really wanted to hear it. And Lucifugus was more than ready to tell it.

"Oh yes. And it was REALLY satisfying to witness." Lucifugus said with glee

Back in the past.

Lucifugus makes a report to Lucifero. Another set of laws. Another step on this pointless road.

Where could this road lead? Where will it take us? How lost do you think you are?

There is no answer as Lucifugus steps into the throne chamber of Lucifero and sees their "almighty" King sitting on his throne made of Devils, some dead, some wishing for death, all of them below him . Lucifugus doesn't give it much thought. He never was the type to overly care about Devils other than himself.

Why would you? Besides now at least they have a job. So it's win-win.

The throne itself sits on top of set of stairs on a big platform. Always letting Lucifero look down upon everyone. Lucifugus made his way across the dark chamber, lit by candles, illuminating the dark walls made of strange, black iron and pillars of stone with spikes upon them upon which another Devil bodies are hanging and slowly climbed the stairs to talk directly to Lucifero himself. Surprisingly Creep wasn't next to him. Lucifugus didn't know if he should be relieved or concerned. But that is of no matter.

"Okay so I already made some corrections to Middle class rules and squashed a bit more of the benefits of lower class (I'm not sure why I even do that, it just feels right) and I also constantly need to remind myself of why is this even a thing. With that last one I may need your help because I think I lost the "why" part recently, if you call beginning of time recently." Lucifugus said in a monotone tone. At this point it was a routine. Not like he expected to get a satisfying answer.

"I already told you, IT'S ANOTHER PART OF MY GRAND DESIGN!" Lucifero stated with a mocking tone. This was also part of the routine. "Your lack of faith is deeply disturbing LuuuuUUUuUuUu-"

Then Lucifero started shaking a bit on his throne, almost like he was about to explode. Lucifugus was confused to say the least. But definitely wouldn't mind the exploding option at this point. But then Lucifero's body clamed down and Lucifero himself seemed to be excited.

"OH MY ME! There is a Devil out there! Not bound by any contract, PHYSICALLY unlike that Ziggy (Zagred) failure. Yes, this is our chance!" Lucifero stated as he got up from his throne. Lucifugus was still confused. "Excuse me, but now I WILL PROCEED TO FREE US FROM THIS DULL REALM AND GIVE US THE TIME OF OUR LIVES, THE BEST ONE IN 10.000 YEARS!"

Then Lucifero stars to disappear. His figure becomes more and more transparent until he is fully gone. A minute of silence passes and then it hits Lucifugus.

"... He is gone? ... OH MY GOD HE IS FINALLY GONE!" Truly a blissful moment. He is actually happy. "I AM FREE! I DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS JOB ANY LON..."

*SLAM*

Lucifero appears again in mid air and slams onto the throne. And the moment of happiness has ended.

"Ughhhh, of course not..." The tone in Lucifugus's voice was painful and he wanted to do nothing else than rip his heart out and start to bite on it.

"No... NO.. I HAD IT! I JUST FUCKING HAD IT! I WAS SO CLOSE, SO FUCKING CLOSE, but that BITCH denied me that!" Lucifero was screaming towards high heavens. It was unbearable. Even the throne seemed to squirm in pain. Then for a moment Lucifero stopped moving "Wait! I can't detect that Devil anymore! No nononono! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

But then that made Lucifugus realize something.

"What just happened? Did you..." Oh yes, he knew what it meant "Did you just FAIL!?

"Wha.. no... I mea.. NO!" Lucifero seemed extremely angry, but also embarrassed "THAT IS ALL APRT OF... P..plan. YES... I..."

"And from what I understood a HUMAN was the cause..." Lucifugus said as clearly as he could. Relishing in this unbelievable moment.

"You don't understand, I had my FUCKING mana drained by her, some sort of defective trash, I... I..." Lucifero's words slowly died down. It was quite pathetic to watch to say the least. Even for Lucifugus.

Especially for Lucifugus

"You know what. I shall leave now." Lucifugus said with mix of irony and embarrassment in his voice

"What?" And Lucifero was horribly confused with a hint of anger.

"I think I will come later... maybe tomorrow. Good day to you." Lucifugus said as he turned around and walked down the stairs.

"Wha... NO WAIT! IF YOU TELL ANYONE, I WILL MURDER YOU. TEAR OFF YOUR LIMBS AND PROCEED TO PUSH THEM ALL INTO EVER HOLE IN YOUR BODY AND THEN TURN YOU INTO A SMALL CUBE!" Okay that was just pathetic all around.

"Oh, I don't doubt that *lets out a small laugh*" Even he couldn't hold it at this horrid display.

"I.. YOU! ..." Lucifero wanted to say something before Lucifugus left, but then

Throne started to laugh too.

"Gravity magic"

And proceeds to be crushed.

"..." Moment of silence passes as Lucifero starts to realize something else "I need a new throne... :("

Back to the present

"That was incredibly pathetic." Pen couldn't hold his honesty.

"Oh it was Pen" And neither could Lucifugus

"But now that you told me that wont it get you in trouble? Others I think heard that too." Pen said, he seemed to be concerned.

Why?

"If YOU tell anyone then I'll make sure to fire you all in the most gruesome way possible." Lucifugus said bluntly.

"I... okay..." Pen said, with hint of sadness

"As for what happened on the day after..."

Back to the past 2

Again in the throne chamber. Again with Lucifero. Seems like he got himself a new throne too.

"Well I have my report and I..." But before Lucifugus could finish

"LEAvE MHEE TEH FAHCK ALUN!" Lucifero was screaming and swinging a bottle of Evil Liquor around while laying on his new throne

"How many bottles did you drink?" Lucifugus asked

"One... UGH" Lucifero said while rolling around in his throne "AH... HUNDRED! YA! HUNDRED ALRADYE!"

The lack of any evidence of that around the throne room was quite sad.

"Are you still depressed over what happened?" Even Lucifugus himself couldn't tell if he was sincere with this question

"Whut happen? Ya must hAv imaginin sum things, ARE YA NOT!?" Lucifero threw a bottle at Lucifugus and misses miserably and it lands on the wall

Lucifugus looks at the remains and notices that this bottle wasn't even half empty.

"That's just sad"

Back to the present

"Half full!" Pen screamed with a smile

"What?" Lucifugus didn't understand

"Bottle was half full my lord!" Pen said again as if it's meant to mean something "You gotta look for the bright side of things to be happier my lord!"

Who does he think he is?

"...Shut up! Who are YOU to tell me how I'm supposed to view my life? Actually, what IS your name?" Lucifugus asked him. He never really get to know that name did he?

"I dunno, you Lord wrote so many laws with me you scrambled big parts of my brain so I don't remember much. But it's not ALL bad, At least I memorize all the laws we wrote." Pen said while pointing at his head. It had a huge crack in it that left insides of his skull exposed to the world. Part of the brain could still be seen through that crack.

"Oh, well then I will keep calling you Pen." Lucifugus said while also feeling a bit uncomfortable "Also WE?"

Who do you think wrote those laws?

"You wrote them using me... I thought" Pen stops for a moment. He just plays with his hands a little bit before continuing "I thought it would be nice to think that we did that together..."

"..." another minute passed of uneasy silence "... you know what, let's go back to that story..."

Back to the past 3 (no cowboys though)

"My lord, you are becoming more of a broken mess than you ever were. I think you told me a few weeks (or months or years.. I don't know anymore) that you have a host. What about that?" Lucifugus asked him. Maybe that could somehow help.

"Ah, THAT ONE! It's FINE, but he dosn't do mhuch, it's jast him doing some shit with that contry or whatever... torturin peopl... creatin some soldiers...it's boring for now... the other ones though..." Lucifero was saying. Still a broken mess. Until

*Knock* *knock*

Someone knocks at the doors of the throne room.

"Speaking of the Devil hehe" Lucifero said causing immense pain to Lucifugus.

"I think I shall leave now" Lucifugus said. He knew what was coming and he DEFINITELY doesn't want to deal with-

Doors open revealing Megi and Space creep. Space Creep as always a creepy, stands around, says almost nothing, only looking with his dead eyes at the world. Megi on the other hand seemed WAY too excited to see him.

"OH HOW NICE TO SEE YOU! CAN I FINALLY LOOK CLOSER AT YOUR EAR- I mean HORNS!?" Megi said as she flew right up to him and reached her hand up to his horns.

"NOPE! NOPE! I'm OUTTA HERE! (I swear I will write a good law for you BITCH!)" Lucifugus said as he covered his head with his arms. Made a bit harder due to not being able to touch his horns, but he had to do something.

Lucifugus leaves while covering his head and passes Space Creep who watches him in uncomfortable way. But soon opens a portal through which Lucifugus leaves.

And final back to the present

"What was about that part with Megicula-sama?" Pen asked his Lord

"I don't want to talk about it" Lucifugus stated

"Why?" Pen asked him. He was pretty confused

"I wont!" Lucifugus pressed on

"So we go back to writing?"

Lucifugus looks over all the papers on the table and some of them laying on the floor in a total mess. Must have been caused by his fall here. Fucking humans.

"You know what... FINE... let's talk about THE BITCH!"
