(Jace's Cabin)

Leone let one of the bottles she was holding fall into the garbage can. Jace looked at the lustful lioness who was sprawled out on the couch. He had given the girl a shirt and pair of old boots till he could find better clothing.

"Do all you do is drink and flirt with people?" Jace questioned while he cracked his fingers. "Because I'm starting to think all I have to do to keep you happy? Is just buy drinks." Jace said as he hummed and looked at his mug of coffee.

Leone looked at Jace who stirred a spoon around in the mug. Jace hummed and tapped the spoon on the edge of the cup.

"You're getting more comfortable with me around." Leone put in as Jace shrugged. "So, what do you plan to do about the Admiral?" Leone questioned and popped another bottle's cork out with her teeth.

"You mean Dune?" Jace questioned and pushed himself up from the couch. "I don't know yet. He'll show back up sooner or later, Matias is probably just waiting for a chance to go underground and check things out." Jace said before clearing his throat to continue talking.

"It's how he always is… The only issue is he had stronger people to hide behind back then." Jace said and hummed before looking at Leone. "Why? You eager to hunt him when we find him?" Jace questioned which made Leone hum.

Leone walked past him and opened the door outside. Jace raised an eyebrow towards her as she beckoned Jace outside.

"One?" Leone said as she flexed her fists. She tugged off her shirt as fur covered her chest. "You need to get me new clothes… Two? I like fighting…. Talk and fight." Leone said while she kicked off her boots.

Her finger and toenails lengthen to their claw-like points once more. Her stomach and legs were once again covered in bright blonde fur. Her ears popped out of the top of her head. Her hair also grew as she crouched and glared at Jace.

Jace sighed and activated Lupusnal. He tugged off his shirt and looked at Leone while his teeth sharpened into points. Leone watched his claws extend as fur once again spread over his chest and back.

"Hmm…" Jace stated as he nodded and rushed at Leone.

He leapt into the air and tried to hit Leone with his claws extended.

"You could have gone to find someone else." Leone pointed out which made Jace hum. "There are dozens of people with imperial arms. You went straight to me; I can guess you know more about me than you claim." Leone stated as she backflipped away from Jace.

Jace's claws cut into the ground as Leone looked at him. Leone slowly circled him as Jace crouched and glared back at her.

"There's only one hunter in the resistance, Leone," Jace responded and clicked his fangs together. "Plus, I needed the best. I needed someone who came from a similar background." Jace said and swiped at Leone only to be shoved backwards.

Leone grinned at this while she continued to surge forward. She stabbed at Jace, her claws shining as Jace twisted to the side. He rammed his fist into Leone's stomach.

"Tickles!" Leone said as Jace grinned. He looked at Leone's face who seemed to be in an emotional stupor.

His grin slowly faded as Leone's lips slowly curved upwards. Jace tried to pull himself backwards and away from the former Night Raid member.

He felt the girl grab his chest. Jace threw himself backwards just in time for her clawed fingertips to miss him.

Jace was not fast enough to stop her left arm from gripping his right. Jace stumbled on his left foot, his right foot trying and failing to find purchase on the ground. His arm shook with pain as he tried and failed to pull his hand backwards from Leone's vice-like grasp.

Leone grinned at the former Resistance captain who looked at the smirking brawler with a frown. Leone watched Jace continue to yank his limb free.

"Oh, looks like I caught a pup.~" Leone purred as she leaned over Jace. "Should I keep it?" Leone questioned which made Jace blush.

"Leone… No… I'm sorry." Jace said while he continued to try and yank his limb free. "Don't even think about it," Jace said looking at the smirking brawler who placed her other hand around Jace's waist.

Jace didn't dare look at her. Leone looked giddy with excitement. Jace didn't dare consider what Leone wanted to do with him in such a vulnerable state.

"Think about what?~" Leone purred, blowing gently on his wolf-like ears. Jace clenched his teeth not to let a sound escape his lips.

"Leone…" Jace squeaked out and gave one last pull to escape from Leone's grasp.

Leone grinned at the captain. She could smell his Teigu crying out. Leone was smart enough to know Jace knew she had him at her mercy.

Part of Leone wanted her to avenge herself on Jace, slowly dissolve any hope he had left before withdrawing. It would leave Jace unwilling to do anything but submit to her whims. She knew he cared about her majorly from the blushes he was giving her.

But another part of Leone didn't want to mess with Jace too much. She was still curious as to why her Teigu was so drawn to Jace's so much. Leone wondered what would drive Jace to get such a Teigu.

That part of her still wanted to mess with Jace, however… Leone would never let someone with the balls to sucker punch her get away with it.

"Jacey…." Leone purred while tugging Jace closer. Jace responded by leaping up and kicking off Leone's chest.

Leone blinked before Jace lunged in a crouch. He looked back at Leone and clenched his fists.

"Don't do that…. Again." Jace stated while brushing off his arms. "Damn it, that's not fair," Jace said while settling into another fighting stance. He got a roll of the eyes from Leone who simply looked at him and rolled her head.

"Life isn't fair when it comes to fights, Jace." Leone stated while she settled into another crouch.

Jace could only sigh which made Leone grin as he brushed off his hands. Jace clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"I've been a soldier long enough to know this," Jace stated and extended his claws once more.

He threw himself at Leone who greeted him once more. Leone grinned and extended her claws at him.

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that Leone is going to be more flirtish and such. The next chapter will be in 2-10 weeks or 2 months and will show Leone and Jace training and bonding more with explaining how Jace became a Captain and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
