(Empire)

Jace looked at Leone as both of them leaned on the trees around them. They stared around each other at seemed to glance around before he seemed to be interested in what to do next. They shared a glance as the duo sighed and looked.

"There will be more soldiers, all of them will be ready for use at the second if we go back," Jace said while he sighed to himself. "We both know what will happen if they attack again. We don't have the numbers to hold off another attack by them at the moment." Jace said while he sighed to himself.

It had been interesting to them at the second. There was a lot more on the line if they failed to hit Matias and take him out of the game. The sooner they took him down? The sooner they'd be able to relax. There was no real plan to stop them, no real way to defeat him without incurring massive losses against their army.

"And what happens if I decide to get back?" Leone questioned before she tilted his head before he seemed to look around the happening. "There's going to be more soldiers either way. We could thin them out a bit. Then both of us could rip them apart entirely. At the second." Leone stated before he honestly questioned himself.

It had become a lot more interesting to himself how much she seemed to enjoy violence like this. Jace could only shrug as he realized she probably would. They did need the intel and it was honestly hopeful when it came down to it that they could make a difference if they tried a new angle.

"Maybe, but we'd need to be careful either way. Matias will have been after us either way and I'm sure he'd have sent reinforcements to the base to replace the ones we just killed." Jace stated before he brushed off his arms. "And I'm going to say you're not going to back down, either way, no matter what I say, no?" Jace questioned as he gazed at the base once more.

She nodded and tilted her head to the side. Jace sighed and looked at the many soldiers over his shoulder at them while clearing his throat.

"One of you needs to tell the general we're coming back soon and tell her what's going on," Jace ordered as he seemed to tilt his head. "We need to get that data. I'll get back in there and handle the intel. Some of you wait here for us to come back." Jace stated before cracking his fingers.

Both of them shared a look as they looked around for more soldiers. Their group had been trimmed down a bit, but it didn't stop them at the second. There was going to be hell to pay when it came to their fight against Matias and his army. He rubbed at his temples before glancing around at the many soldiers and what was to come next.

There was so much on her mind when it came down to it. There was so much on her plate. The second this ended? This was going to be harder when it came down to it. He was going to be interested. The second this ended? The second this plan came crashing down.

Jace looked at Leone as both him and her when it came down to it.

"We both know what will happen if we don't find that data. This isn't going to be easy. We need to handle it properly. This isn't going to be fun." Jace stated before he sighed and seemed to look around before it ended.

Leone stretched her claws and seemed to glance around. She wanted to be curious. It had been a long path than he wished to. Still? There was a lot more on this when it came down to it. The more time he wasted on this? The more this path twisted and turn.

"We both know there's going to be hell to pay when it comes down to it," Jace said while he sighed and rolled his eyes himself. "We both know what will make it come down to it," Jace said while he seemed to consider his options.

They could sneak in. they could be interesting; they could cut through them sooner or sooner. There would be hell to pay before this came down to it. The sooner this ended at the moment? The sooner there was going to be done with it.

This was going to be interesting in what came down to it. It had been hopeful, it was going to be a close adventure, a very close adventure when it came down to it. The more they clashed? The more they'd find clues.

He rubbed at his temples while glancing around. There was going to be curious when it came down to it. He crossed his arms before he sighed as if he was going to war with Matias. He glanced at her before this was said and done. She was ready, and so was he. There was going to be hell to pay at the moment.

"We both know what will happen when we get down to it. There were so much more guards here when it come to their tactics." Jace stated before he rubbed at his temples. "We were going to be expecting more guards at the second. It will be a lot weirder than what we just went through. We went through a lot more than anything. A lot more than I expected. There will be more on our plate than a few smatterings of guards." Jace stated before he rubbed at his temples.

Leone rolled her eyes herself. She had probably become far too used to these chests when it came down to it. These meetings were going to be amusing more to her than anyone else. It had probably been a lot harder than he expected her to come down to it. This woman was used to his antics or seemed to be growing used to her antics when they seemed to stick in her body.

'This woman is going to be the death of me at the second. There will be hell to pay. I'm kinda feeling bad that I had brought her back. Oy, I'm going to snap sooner or later. This is going to be crazy at the second. I'll need to talk to the General when we go back.' Jace stated mentally to himself before he started to think.

He was going to be in hot water when it came down to it. She had been a weapon, a warrior that had been more of a brute than an assassin. It wasn't his place to judge, his place to put any real blame on her at the second. It had become a harder plan at the second to fathom as of the time.

Still? If he was going to question this and go back to plan? He'd handle when it at the end of the day and deal with the flaws in this time. It was going to be hard when it came down to it. There were more problems than it had become interested in what to do next.

Leone crouched and seemed to surge forward with the fury of a train. He was honestly curious what she'd do if she wasn't on orders.

She wasn't a soldier; she had no use for rules or stipulations that stopped him from doing her job. There were a lot more options when it came down to it.

"By luring them away…" Leone said as Jace waved his hand back and forth.

"Just start fighting them. It's like you thrive on killing people. It's a bit disturbing." Jace stated before that he seemed to question what to do next. "I'll go find the orders and then we bring it back here?" Jace questioned before Leone nodded.

It had been tiring to them. It made him question what to do next. This was going to be fun; it would be hopeful. This was going to be weird and odd. Leone seemed to smile when it came down to it.

'This woman is going to be a nightmare. There will be a lot odder things than this, isn't it? I'm really curious if she's going to get me killed. I'm going to be killed because of her at the second, she's making me insane.' Jace stated, sighing and shaking his head to roll his eyes himself.

He was going to be more interested in if she could not die when it came to these tactics. She was throwing herself into battles that she couldn't handle. It made him question if she was suicidal or simply bored of battle and looking for a challenge. It scared him at the end of the day, yet he seemed as if he was going

"And then we bring them to camp and find what to do next?" Jace heard as he nodded.

He looked at his Tengu and glanced around once more. The base seemed to rise, being nothing but all-consuming to him. The fact that there was nothing but soldiers and water between him and the rest of the objective.

This was going to end sooner or later. Matias only had so many soldiers when the war ended. This had to stop sooner or later and it was only a matter of how many people were going to die before then. The fact they didn't entirely question him was something that had made him both uneasy and calm at the same time. If they blindly trusted them? They'd be all too easily killed in combat with the others. They had self-reservation which helped them live as compared to idiots who would sooner charge into battle with no regard… He was thinking of Leone even while trying NOT TO. He almost wanted to scream at how little they seemed to concern themselves with this.

Still? She was probably one of the better fighters in the world and her skills as an assassin was going to be without a doubt perfect for this. He was going to be hopeful that she had some sort of plan to fight these people. He wanted to be reckless when it came down to it but he wasn't going to battle her more than anything.

He was honestly curious as to what to think at the moment. He was honestly curious at the second.

He was ready for this, even if he had to press through the doubts and the fears as of the second. He was curious at the time. Leone scratched her claws along the ground before she tilted her head at the soldier who was ready to break on the rocks as it were.

"We're going into hell, Le. I hope you don't forget that when it comes time to battle them." Jace stated before he rubbed at his temples. "And don't forget that you're going to be fighting a head-on fight. They will try and shoot you to death. I can only do so much to try and stop them when it comes to battlefield tactics." Jace stated before he rolled his eyes.

She smiled and tapped him playfully on the side of his head at the time. He was going to be headed into the thick of an inferno and she knew it, she also knew he couldn't waste time trying to bother her when it came to her tactics. Her claws would dice into dozens of soldiers before they became a bother, all she needed was time.

"Just don't go too wild and end up getting killed. I can't save you a second time if you forget, that thing is only good for one use then it's done and dusted. I can't keep trying to be a hero around you if you're just going to die before I can use it properly." Jace stated before he started to look around.

He was honestly curious at the time. he had been conflicted at the time. Jace questioned their chances at the time while he shook his head before he sighed to himself.

This woman would be his death at the time. He was ready to scream that at her and yet thought better of it. She was a warrior, and so was he. There was no damn reason to insult her skill when it came down to it. There was very little that could be said or done anyway at the time.

He was honestly curious as to this.
