Annie was walking home from school, tired from what felt like a very long day. From handing over her homework after making sure that everything was correct, to working on another science project that she just started with a couple of her classmates so now, she just wants to go home and hopefully spend time with her mom/girlfriend before her dad comes over for an early birthday dinner.

So, how was school today? Sam asked as Annie placed her bag-pack on the table, and sat down on the chair exhausted.

Well, we just started that science project I told you guys about. Annie replied tapping her fingers on the table relaxing.

Good! And how about your homework, did you get a good grade? Sam asked as she got the patty.

Yes, I did! Expect maybe for Spanish. Which I don't get why I have to take it, so eh, Annie replied shrugging her shoulders as she took her phone out of her bag-pack.

Look Annie! I get it, you think that it's a waste of time to learn another language, but you have to if you want to be a science-tis. Sam said.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. I could always get someone to translate for me, or I could use this app. Ann said as she walked up to Sam to show it to her.

Translate to dummies! Sam said confused.

Ugh! Why even bother? Its like talking to my younger self. Sam said as Annie put her phone in her pocket.

Mmm! That smells good, what are you cooking? Ann asked as she smelled the food.

I'm making your favorite cheese burger since we're celebrating your birthday today. Sam replied.

Mom, Do we have to celebrate my birthday today? My birthday isn't till Saturday. Annie asked frowning.

Yes, we do Annie. You know that your dad and I have to be on set on a movie we helped write. Sam replied placing a kiss on top of her head.

Yeah! I know. But I still don't like it. Annie said leaning her head on her mom's shoulder.

I know, sweetie. But you know that no matter how busy it gets, we always try to come home for a day or two. Sam said,

Yeah! You've never failed in doing that. Annie said pulling away.

Hey Annie, your dad should be here in an hour or so. Why don't you go to your room and rest for a bit. Sam said as Annie grabbed her bag of the table.

Good idea! By the way, where's mom? She asked stopping at the door.

I don't know, she's here somewhere! Sam replied smiling at Annie as she smiled, Annie then made her way to the hallway walking towards her room, when Melanie suddenly stepped out of the half-restroom.

Oh! Geez mom, you scared me. Ann said jumping back a bit.

Wow Annie! You're jumpy today. Melanie said.

How can I not, seems like you and mom decided to switch up on me. Annie said as she pointed at Mel's hair that was down.

Oh! Yeah about that, this morning after you left for school, your mom and I had to go buy some groceries for dinner tonight. So she went to the bathroom for a quick shower, while I change clothes and brushed my hair without thinking. Then after a couple of minutes, your mom came out with a ponytail. We looked at each other for a bit, and since neither of us questioned it, we just left. Mel said reaching for her young girlfriend's hand.

Wish I knew, I almost made out with the wrong mom back there. Annie said as they walked to her room.

Oh come on, baby. It couldn't be that bad. Melanie said as they entered the room and closed the door behind them.

Mom! I snuck up behind her and kissed her on her back. Annie said placing her bag pack on her shelf.

Oh ok! You thought it was me until she greeted you. Melanie said smiling wrapping her arms around Annie's waist.

Mmm-hmm! Ann said sliding her hands up to Mel's shoulders.

Aww princess! You poor thing, give me a kiss. Melanie said as she leaned in for a kiss. As they kissed, Melanie started taking a few steps back while Annie was unbuttoning her mom's blouse.

Annie! Wait! We can't do that now, your dad's gonna be here in a bit. She said pulling away.

I know, but I was hoping to at least have a boob. Ann said licking her lips as she pushed Melanie onto her bed.
