Chapter 4: Who Goes First?
Kazuto's choice was made. He agreed to take each girl out on a date. Since there were seven days in the week, he would take one girl out each day. Now they needed to figure out who went first.
Of the girls involved, he had Asuna, Shino, Rika, Keiko, and Sugu to make five. Because there were seven days, they needed two more. Yui readily volunteered to spend a day out with her Papa. Other than that, Kazuto asked if Alice could be allowed to go on a date with him. Rinko agreed. In order to decide, the list was drawn by sticks and Alice, since she wasn't there, got whatever was last.
Kazuto held the bag of the labeled sticks and shook it up. Each girl sat around the living room. Asuna and Yui sat on one side of the couch with Sugu on the other side. Rika sat on the loveseat off to the left of the 'L' shaped setup with Keiko beside her. Shino was once again curled up in her chair bundled under as many blankets as she could find.
He began to walk around the room starting with Yui. "Alright Yui, hold it till we're all done, then call it out." He then handed the bag to Asuna and she drew her number. Then Sugu drew hers, afterwards Keiko and Rika. Finally, Shino took a second and looked up from her book to draw from the bag, then returned to her book.
Asuna was the first to speak once Kazuto returned to her side. "I think we should have Alice's number drawn first." All the girls agreed. "Kazuto-kun?"
Kazuto pulled the remaining stick out of the bag and flipped to find the number. "4." That would be a Wednesday if they started on this coming Sunday.
Next, Yui called hers. "I got 2!"
"Alright, so Yui goes second." Sugu flipped her own number over. "What! Are you serious!?"
"How bad is it?"
"I got 7!"
Rika let out a wheeze. "Ha! Brother complex goes last!" This earned her a glare from Asuna. "Sorry, Sugu. Didn't mean to be that rude."
"No, it's fine. More time to prepare, I guess."
Once they settled back down, Asuna flipped hers. "3."
Yui grinned happily. "Mama goes after me!."
"I got 6? Dammit!" Rika slammed the stick down in her lap.
"Karma for laughing at me!" Sugu grinned.
Kazuto just watched them all. "That leaves 1 and 5. Keiko? Wanna tell us?"
"S-Sure." Keiko got her hopes really high that she would be able to go first, but they diminished the second she read the number 5 on her stick. "I got 5."
"That leaves you Shino." All eyes turned over to the girl reading her book. Keiko's cat Pina had crawled up into her lap and was sleeping.
She placed down her book and picked up the stick. "Oh, I guess I did." The slightest blush appeared on her cheeks. "I go first then."
"You don't seem too excited Shino, you can switch if its a bother." Kazuto offered.
A cheeky grin grew on Rika's face. "She's not upset. More like totally stoked! She's blushing, look!"
Shino pulled the blanket up above her cheeks so only her eyes were showing. "A-Am not!"
"Then why are you hiding?" Rika teased.
The sniper growled a bit. "Because I don't like being stared at!"
"Alright, settle down you two." Kazuto interrupted. "Shino, do you want to go first?"
She looked around the room. Despite her nerves, she knew she couldn't pass this up. She got first go at the man they all loved. "I, I'll do it. When is it? Sunday?"
"We can do Sunday if you want."
"That works with me." She could feel her cheeks heat up as she tried to focus back on her book.
Meanwhile, Yui and Sugu were talking about date plans.
"I want Papa to take me to the gardens! They're so beautiful!" Yui cheered as she thought about walking around under the pink trees with her adopted father. "I can't wait!"
Sugu seemed less enthusiastic. "I'm not quite sure what I want to do yet. I'll have to see what's going on Saturday."
On the other side of the room, Keiko and Rika were talking about their own plans.
"There's a cosplay convention on Thursday! I wanna do that!" Keiko smiled. "We can go as Silica and Kirito. What do you think, Kazuto?"
"I like it. We can do that, but hold on until we get there, okay?"
"Okay!"
Rika was struggling to come up with something. Keiko had picked her first choice of the cosplay convention, then Yui picked a walk in the gardens. She didn't know where Shino and Asuna wanted to go and Alice was a wildcard.
While the others were thinking it over, Asuna smiled and leaned over on her husband. "I don't even need to come up with anything."
Kazuto decided to bite. "You don't?"
"Nope, I'm going to spend my day with you here. Nothing better than spending the day with your husband and daughter. Movies, games, all kinds of fun." She nuzzled his shoulder. "That's what I want to do."
That was one less Rika had to worry about. Now it was just Shino, and Alice.
"I'm going to call Ms. Rinko and let her know when I need to meet Alice." He pulled out his phone and walked to the other room.
As soon as he left, Shino became a target again. All of the girls hurled questions at her.
"What are you going to do Shino-non?" Asuna asked.
"I... um."
"A movie date would be nice." Keiko added."
Yui piped up next. "Oh, you could go back and play GGO. I heard they had a Christmas update."
"Well, I uh."
Sugu and Rika threw two more suggestions. Sugu suggested a romantic dinner. Rika's was more... lewd causing everyone but Yui to blush.
"I've never been on a date before!" They all stared at where the voice came from. "I, I don't know what to do because I've never been on a date." Shino once again cowered in her blanket wrap. "You all know that he's the first man I've trusted in a long time so I never gave any thought to dating. I tried so hard to become the cold sniper Sinon that I don't know how to act around a boy as Shino." She blushed brightly as Asuna walked over to her.
"Shino-non, you don't need to worry. Kazuto-kun is a gentleman. He won't do anything you don't want to do. Maybe, you should take Keiko's suggestion and do a movie date. That would be simple and easy."
Shino thought it over. "That would be fine for a first date, but this is a first and last date."
That hit all of them hard. This was a chance to be out with Kazuto, but this was their only chance. Asuna had told them that this was their date time with him. She never said if they had another shot should this one go wrong.
Once again, Shino was left to think. Did she want to just do something simple? Or did she want to go as far as she could? Her cheeks instantly blushed at the second thought. She had hoped that she wasn't seen, but that hope was short lived.
"Oh? Looks like someone's taking my suggestion to heart." Rika giggled. "What you fantasizing about over there Shino?"
"S-Shut up!"
As the argument began again, Kazuto came back. "So, figure anything out?"
Asuna answered. "We figured out Shino-non has never been on a date before."
"Asuna!" Shino squealed in embarrassment.
Kazuto simply chuckled. "Well, given your past, I don't blame you Shino. You don't have to go all out for something like this. Something small and simple should work." He paused and tried to read her face. Then something came to his memory. "Oh, I know. There's a movie in theaters right now that seems pretty cool. Would you want to go see that, and maybe some dinner?"
All the other girls, except for Asuna and Yui, gasped. Instead of Shino making her own decision, Kazuto asked her out. They all knew that Shino despised any form of help, especially from Kazuto.
But surprisingly, she nodded. "Th-That sounds nice. Thank you, Kazuto."
Kazuto responded with a nod of his own then looked down and began to text Alice to let her know what was happening.
Meanwhile, all eyes were on Shino. She was never one to relinquish control like that yet here she sat letting Kazuto make her mind for her.
Now all that was left was for the two to split and meet Sunday for the date.
Asuna laid with her husband in their bed that evening and watched some television without much interest. The other girls had packed their stuff and left around noon. When a commercial came on, she spoke up. "Kazuto?"
Noticing she dropped the 'kun' from her normal way of saying his name, he looked over. Not that he wouldn't have done that anyway. "What's up?"
"Is this really okay? I mean, wouldn't this be cheating?"
"I don't think so. Its more of a friendly date from my point of view. As long as both of us see it that way, I think it should be fine." He wrapped his arm around her and kissed her head. "Why?"
"Well, I was thinking."
"Oh no, not again."
That earned him a light slap to the chest. "Since when was me thinking a bad thing dummy? Name one time."
"I don't know. Try the night where you 'thought' I wanted to sleep with you in SAO. I only wanted to stay by your side to make sure you were safe." He continued to hold her as she slapped him again.
Asuna pouted at the memory. "Th-That was one time."
"You told me 'name one time' so I did. Did I misunderstand the rules Mrs. Kirigaya?"
"No, you didn't." Her blush became more apparent. "But you didn't have to bring that embarrassing memory up."
"I thought you were beautiful. The moonlight on the 61st floor showed off your pale skin and lovely figure. I may have been scared then, but only because you would kill me had I said otherwise."
"W-Would not." She protested.
"Says the girl that attacked me after I explained the misunderstanding. I can still feel the slap." He rubbed his cheek, feigning pain and grimaced.
"Aw poor baby. Want me to kiss it better?"
"Yes please."
Asuna giggled adorably, leaned up and kissed his cheek. "There, all better." Even as she pulled away, she found herself captivated by his almost black pupils. Despite being so dark, they held a bright life that only she could see. With her hand still on his cheek, she planted another kiss on his lips.
This caught Kazuto by surprise. "A-Asuna?"
"There's no moral code here Kirito-kun." Her voice called his alias in a low tone and almost a growl. "And no harassment alarms either. Just a wife and her husband." She kissed him again, this time with more fire. Something was driving her and it didn't take him long to figure it out. Lust.
"Are we really going to do this now?" Kazuto asked nervously as his wife crawled up so that her breasts were right above his face.
Instantly, she got sheepish at his question. "D-Do you not want to?" The more she paused, the more self conscious she got. "O-Of course not, its too soon. I'm sorry Kir-"
Right as she was about to revert back to his avatar name, he kissed her to calm her down. "Asuna, my loving wife. I do want to do it with you. But maybe we should wait until after the dates are done. That way, they can feel just like normal teens on a date."
"I just don't want them to take you for themselves. They might do things that I won't." Her thoughts raced as Kazuto pulled her up beside him again.
"No need to worry. The most I'm letting any of them do is a hug and maybe a kiss. Only if you allow it."
She pondered it for a second. She knew that Kazuto was good about keeping his promises to her. He did so when he came for her in ALO. They made a promise to be reunited in the real world and he saw it through. "Alright."
"Alright, what?"
"You have my permission to kiss them if they want to."
"Even Rika?" They both knew that Rika could get a little out of hand and had a tendency to take things overboard.
"As long as you don't go too far with her." She pouted and muttered something to herself.
"What was that?"
"N-Nothing." Her cheeks flared at the though of him hearing her declare his virginity to be hers.
"Fine then," He waited until she got good and settled again. "Then I'll just have to tickle it out of you." His longer arms wrapped her up and began to tickle her sides. Fingers gently gliding across the exposed skin from her crop top night shirt. "Going to give it up, Vice Commander?"
"Never!" Asuna wailed as she was reduced to a giggling fit.
After about 10 seconds, she managed to overpower her husband and pin him to the bed. Not that he resisted much at all. "Fine, you win. You don't have to tell me."
"Tell you what?" In the will to turn him over, she lost her train of thought.
In that moment of confusion, Kazuto struck with a grin on his face. His hand grabbed her face and pulled her into a kiss. "Going to tell me now?"
Asuna was breathing hard from the tickle attack and the kiss. "F...Fine, I'll... I'll tell you." She dropped down on his chest, panting but smiling. "I... I said that your virginity was mine. They can't have it."
"Oh? So that's why you were so keen on pouncing me tonight." The grin on his face vanished replaced with a loving smile. "If you really want to, and are a good girl, I'll let you have it."
"Really?"
"Yes dummy, who else would I give it to?"
Asuna's eyes lit up. She'd been nervous to do this in SAO, but now they were lawfully wedded. They still needed to consummate their marriage as well. "Let me go make sure Yui is asleep." She came back about 5 minutes later. "Yea, she's out. You said she can't wake up unless we wake her up, right?"
"Yes. Yui has to either be at 100% battery or we pull her off the pad for her to wake up." The second was in case of a house fire or event of same caliber. Kazuto also had a button on his watch to activate Yui's body and wake her up. "We're all alone for the night, my wife."
She crawled back on top of him. "Say that again."
Kazuto leaned up to her ear. "My," He kissed her ear. "Loving." Another kiss on her temple. "Wife." The final kiss was Asuna diving on him.
