Hello and welcome to chapter 6 of Horyus: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Last time, the Horyus battled against the Five Kage and, while it didn't have the best conclusion, they were able to defeat the Kage and their helpers using wits rather than strength and power. But just as they were about to celebrate, Suì-Fēng of the Thirteen Cort Guard Squads ambushed Sakura and poisoned her with her Zampakuto. At the same time, Syaoran met Yūko Ichihara from Xxxholic. Now we shall see the aftermath of the event.
Now I will admit, the last chapter did leave some controversy, especially regarding Spiro's Draconium armor being able to withstand a Truth-Seeking Orb, but I'll get to that later. For now, all I'll say is that Draconium is a fictional metal in the ranks of Vibrainium, Nth Metal, Chrome Digizoid, and Adamantium, in that it's a metal that's stronger than Tungsten, Steel, and Titanium.
Author's Note: Due to having problems writing the story requests, I decided to work on this chapter to blow off some steam.
Chapter 6:
In the World of Science, Syaoran was in front of what appeared to be a small mansion, guided by Mokana. Upon entering it he sat that there were two Mokana, one white, which was the one who brought him here, and one black. Behind them was a mysterious woman who looked like she had been expecting him.
"Welcome Syaoran Li," said the woman.
"You know who I am," Syaoran questioned.
"I know all I need to know about you," the woman confirmed. "I know that you and your family are the descendants of Clow Reed."
"Who are you," Syaoran questioned.
"I am Yūko Ichihara," the woman identified herself. "Now then, shall I grant your wish?"
Syaoran was surprised. He knew he heard that name before and recognized Yūko right away. "I know you! You're the witch Clow Reed mentioned in his books…!"
"I see my reputation proceeds me," Yūko smiled. "Clow Reed is a tricky magician after all."
Syaoran, noticing that Yūko was speaking as if Clow Reed was still alive, then took a deep breath before saying, "Yeah, he was. I hate to tell you this, but he died a long time ago."
"Perhaps in this dimension," Yūko pointed out as the two Mokona played. "However, he is still alive in another dimension, and I'm not talking about his reincarnation, Eriol Hīragizawa either."
"Mokona mentioned that you could grand my wish," Syaoran got back on topic. "But I've also heard that whatever wish you grant one must also give something up as payment, something of equal value."
"Indeed," Yūko confirmed. "When a service is rendered, compensation is necessary to complete the transaction. And the payment must be of equal value to the service. It can neither be too much, nor too little. There can be no deficiency, nor excess, only perfect balance and equivalence, or harm will be done."
"Harm to whom," Syaoran questioned.
"Harm throughout the universe, and harm to the soul," Yūko explained. "They both require a balance. Also, this meeting between you and I was bound to happen. There is no such thing as a coincidence in this world."
"There is only inevitability," Syaoran finished her sentence, remembering hearing it from Kaho Mizuki. "I've heard it before."
"Then you know what you must do," said Yūko. "But first, what is your wish?"
Syaoran was hesitant at first, but he began to speak, "My girlfriend has formed and now is part of this superhero team known as the Horyus. I'm sure you witnessed the battle with Xehanort."
"Everyone saw that battle," Yūko confirmed. "Please continue."
"Well, when they battled against Xehanort's group, Organization XIII, I tried to help her, but I only ended up getting in the way," Syaoran explained. "What's more, everyone else ended up contributing more to the battle than I did. Hinata, Kagome, Tasha, Katara, Kairi, they all played their roles while I ended up being knocked out and taken out of the battle. I don't want to be a burden to everyone, especially Sakura. I'll do anything to both help and protect her."
"Be careful what you say, Syaoran," Yūko warned Syaoran. "That "anything" could include giving up your relationship with Sakura. If it came down to it, you might even have to give up the feelings you hold so dear to her and vice versa."
Syaoran's eyes widened when Yūko informed him of this. He remembered how he almost lost his feelings and relationship with Sakura once when they battled against the Sealed Card and he saw how deeply it affected her. While he was willing to let go of those feelings, he knew that Sakura was more affected by it than he was.
"If it comes down to that, will I be able to feel that way about her again," Syaoran questioned.
"I'm afraid there is only one way to find out," Yūko answered.
In the Shinobi World, Tsunade, Shizune, Sakura Haruno, Ino, and even Katara were doing their best to help out Sakura Kinomoto. But while they were able to keep her heart stable and stop the bleeding, they weren't able to handle Hōmonka.
"How is she," Tomoyo asked worryingly.
"We're doing everything we can," Tsunade answered. "But no matter how many times we neutralize the poison, that mark keeps making more."
"Let us try," Sora offered as he and Kairi prepared their Keyblades.
"HEAL…!"
Sora and Kairi used their healing magic on Sakura, but the Hōmonka still wouldn't go.
"It's no use," Kairi gasped.
Sakura Kinomoto, realizing her situation, pulled out one of her cards and activated it.
"ERASE…!"
Sakura activated the Erase Card and used it to literally erase the Hōmonka from her heart, saving herself from the poison.
"Why didn't she just do that earlier," Ino questioned.
"We'll have time for that later," Katara pointed out as she continued to heal Sakura.
Just then, Syaoran reappeared, with the help of Mokana's magic, only to see what was going on with his girlfriend. "Sakura…!"
Syaoran ran right up to Sakura Kinomoto, only to be intercepted by Kagome, who did not look too happy at him at all.
"Where the hell did you disappear to," Kagome hissed.
"I don't have time for this, Kagome," Syaoran replied, more worried for Sakura's wellbeing than picking a fight. "Sakura needs me right now…!"
"Then you should have been there when she was attacked," said Kagome, not quite through with Syaoran. "Instead you disappeared to who knows where and…"
"Kagome," Tasha called out. "Stop picking a fight and let Syaoran pass…!"
Not wanting to argue with a ferocious dragon, Kagome sighed and got out of Syaoran's way as he proceeded to Sakura Kinomoto's side.
"Sakura, are you alright," Syaoran asked with concern.
"I'm fine, Syaoran," Sakura answered.
"What happened," Syaoran questioned.
"While you were away, they finished their battle with the Kage," Katara answered, looking no better than Kagome was just moments ago. "Next thing they knew, some woman calling herself a Soul Reaper came out of nowhere and attacked her. Shen stabbed her with this weird sword and left a butterfly-mark she called Hōmonka in her heart, poisoning her."
"Like I said, you should have been there," said Kagome.
"Kagome, Katara, knock it off," Tasha called out. "Are you forgetting who the real cooperate was? Perhaps Syaoran should have been there, but no one had any idea that this could happen."
Kagome and Katara wanted to argue, but they knew that Tasha was right.
In the World of Science, Yūko was in her shop when two young girls entered into her room. One of them had long, curly, blue hair that she ties into pigtails. The other had short, straight, pink hair that has two curls on either side of her head. These were Marudashi and Morodashi (Maru and Moro for short), "twins" who resided in Yūko's shop.
"Mistress, do you think Syaoran will come clean and ask you to grant his wish," said Maru.
"Only he can answer that," Yūko answered. "But he will also have to give something up in exchange for the wish."
"Undoubtedly," Moro agreed.
Just then, a few other individuals entered the room.
"Still up to your old tricks, huh Yūko?"
Yūko noticed the individuals, who turned out to be Eriol, Kaho, Spinel Sun, and Ruby Moon.
"Eriol, I should have expected that you would be involved," Yūko smirked.
"Indeed," Eriol nodded. "I was requested by Nick Fury to attend Sakura's schools once again in order to help prepare her for the upcoming events. I would like to say that these events were a coincidence…"
"But you know as well as I do that there is no coincidence in this world," Yūko blew smoke from her pipe.
"There is only inevitability," Kaho finished her quote.
"So that's how Syaoran knew about that quote," Yūko laughed. "He heard it from you."
Kaho laughed back.
Eriol then got back on topic. "What will happen to Syaoran?"
Yūko blew her pipe before answering, "Only he can answer that question. He wants to become stronger, but he will also have to give something up in exchange."
Elsewhere in the world, Makoto, Chloe, Adi, and Bruno had arrived at the Hydra base in Japan where they met up with Viper. With them was Monica, who was an ally to Viper for a long time.
"Been a while Viper," Monica greeted her.
"Indeed," said Viper before turning her attention to Makoto and his friends. "And you four must be the individuals Monica has been training these past few years, Makoto, Chloe, Adi, and Bruno."
"Yes Ma'am," the four confirmed.
Viper then turned her attention towards the eight former Sound Ninja. "These are to be your partners in your mission to "bring down" the Horyus. The twelve of you will also work together in taking down other threats."
Makoto and his friends looked upon the sound ninja and their feelings about them were pretty mixed. Makoto thought that the ninja were all cool, Bruno only saw them as allies, while Adi and Chloe weren't too comfortable with them.
"I don't know about this, guys," Chloe whispered. "These guys seem rather menacing."
"Maybe, but who cares," said Makoto naively. "We're going to work with actual ninjas. How cool is that?"
"I agree with Chloe on this," Adi whispered. "These guys might be bad news."
"Perhaps, but it's best not to question it," said Bruno bluntly.
At the same time, Medusa was standing in front of four individuals. One was a man who stood 5'8" (1.73 meters), weighed 150 lbs (68.04 kg), and wearing a special purple armor; one was a man who stood 5'11" (1.8 meters), weighed 175 lbs (79.38 kg), and had what appeared to be some kind of sonic device on his right arm; one was a woman who stood 7'2" (2.18 meters), weighed 350 lbs (158.76 kg), and wearing a two piece jumpsuit that exposed her stomach and left arm and wielding a chain; and one was a man who stood 5'10" (1.78 meters), weighed 160 lbs (72.57 kg), and armed with specialized guns with hoses attacked to them. These were Bentley Wittman aka the Wizard, Ulysses Klaue aka Klaw, Thundra, and Peter Petruski aka Trapster, otherwise known as the Frightful Four.
At one point, Medusa had been a member of this team, but after certain events, she left and became a citizen of Attilan once more. The four had gathered with Medusa in an ally way in Hong Kong where she was explaining something to them.
"Hello everyone," said Medusa to her former team.
"It's been a while Medusa," said Wizard. "Why have you called us here?"
"I have a mission for you four," Medusa explained. "Attilan still doesn't trust you for my time with you, but I want you all to take out that new group, the Horyus."
"You want us to what," Thundra gasped.
"Attilan has deemed that group too dangerous to keep around and they are to be taken out ASAP," Medusa answered. "Only problem is we don't know just how powerful they are."
"So you want us to do your dirty work for you," Klaw questioned.
"Why should we take out those youngsters on your behalf," Trapster questioned. "Your husband trusts us about as far as he can throw us."
"We cannot be certain of what they're capable of," Medusa explained. "If Attilan is going to take them down ourselves, we need to know the full extent of their powers."
"So in other words, you need us to test their strengths and weaknesses," Wizard deduced correctly.
"You could always refuse if you believe you cannot handle it," said Medusa.
The Frightful Four all looked at Medusa with a raised eyebrow.
"What's in it for us," Trapster questioned.
Medusa then told them, "You'll get a large amount of cash from the royal family if you succeed."
"How much are we talking," Thundra questioned.
Elsewhere, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver had gathered up members of the Brotherhood in a forest on the shores of Genosha. There was Mortimer Toynbee aka Toad, Frederick J. Dukes aka the Blob, Dominikos Ioannis Petrakis aka Avalanche, Tabitha Smith aka Boom Boom, and Anna Marie aka Rogue.
"Okay, so let me get this straight," said Toad. "Big Man Magneto wants us to locate and take out those Horyus guys?"
"Yeah, that summons it up," Quicksilver confirmed.
"Why doesn't he just do it himself," Avalanche questioned.
"Our father would be glad to," Scarlet Witch answered. "However, running Genosha isn't easy. Besides, you do want to prove yourselves to him don't you?"
"I know I do," said Boom Boom.
"Those guys can't defeat me," Blob confidently said. "I'm the Blob…!"
"I'll do anything for you sugar," Toad announced to Scarlet Witch.
"Well, if I have to," Avalanche sighed.
"What will we do first though," Rogue questioned.
In the Shinobi World later that night, the Horyus had regrouped at Konoha where Naruto had treated them to Ichiraku Ramen. Fortunately, despite them not having money from this world, Naruto was able to pay for it with his money, though it did leave him broke. At the moment, Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Syaoran, Tomoyo, Inuyasha, Kagome, Spiro, Tasha, Aang, Katara, Sora, and Kairi were all having ramen together. Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Syaoran, Inuyasha, and Kagome were in front while the others were sitting in separate tables. Spiro and Tasha, because of their size, were the only ones not using a chair.
"I've got to admit it Naruto, this ramen really is great," said Sora as he took a sip of the soup and tasted the noodles.
"And, it's the perfect way to unwind after that battle with the Kage," Aang added as he tasted his ramen. "I'm glad they have a vegetarian variant."
"Like I said guys, dinner is on me," Naruto commented.
"It was questionable at first, but I like my meat variant," Spiro admitted.
"This is even better than what Kagome made back in the day," Inuyasha commented.
"You know I can hear you, Inuyasha," Kagome clenched a fist.
"By the way, who is this Queen of Gluttony I heard about," Katara questioned.
"Oh well, that would be yours truly," Hinata blushed.
"You, the Queen of Gluttony," Tasha questioned. "I find that hard to believe."
"But it's true," said Ayame, pointing to a picture of the Queen of Gluttony.
Everyone looked at it and they were all surprised.
"46 bowls… wow," Kairi gasped.
"I'll say," Syaoran agreed.
"I'm surprised it wasn't you, Naruto," Tomoyo commented as she recorded this with her video camera.
Naruto simply blushed and giggled.
Suddenly, Syaoran noticed that Sakura wasn't too thrilled as she was busily eating her ramen. The others soon caught on.
"Sakura, are you okay," Syaoran was the first to ask.
"Oh, I don't know," Sakura answered as she slurped up some of the noodles.
"What's wrong Sakura," Tomoyo questioned.
"I don't want to talk about it," Sakura answered as she finished her ramen.
Syaoran then finished his as he saw what was bugging Sakura. "Sakura, maybe you should get some rest. It's been a long day and you need to recuperate."
Sakura reluctantly agreed. "Yeah, I think I will get some rest."
"Sorry guys, but we'll be heading for our room," Syaoran then walked with Sakura back to their hotel room.
"Do you guys think this has something to do with that Soul Reaper who tried to kill her earlier today," Naruto asked.
"It probably does," Aang answered. "It's best that we let Syaoran handle this for now. If anyone can help Sakura right now, it's him."
"Indeed," Spiro agreed as he finished his bowl. "If any of us get involved right now, we may only make things worse. By the way, Naruto, what are your Truth-Seeking Orbs made of?"
"The bigger question is, Spiro, how was your armor able to withstand my Truth-Seeking Orb," Naruto questioned. "And to answer your question, they're composed of the Elemental Chakra Natures, which in my world are Fire, Water, Earth, Lightning, and Wind. But they're also composed of chakra natures of Yin, Yang, and Yin-Yang. From my experience using them, Truth-Seeking Orbs can be used to neutralize ninjutsu and by extension become impervious to it. They can basically destroy anything they touch."
"Wow, those things are powerful," Aang acknowledged. "So how was your draconium armor able to withstand a direct attack from one, Spiro?"
"Well in my home world, Draco Sanctuary, the number of elements we have is actually ten," Spiro explained. "They are known as Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Ice, Wood, Metal, Light, and Darkness, the latter two are comparable to your Yin and Yang, Naruto."
"Wait a minute," Hinata gasped. "Yin and Yang are considered elemental forces in your world?"
"Yes, they are," Tasha confirmed. "And Ice, Wood, and Metal are also considered their own separate elements rather than parts of other elements."
"I guess that explains why the Truth-Seeking Orbs didn't affect your armor," Naruto took another sip of his ramen.
"But wait a minute," said Katara. "If its elemental proof, how are you guys able to forge it into armor? Metal like that shouldn't even be able to be forged if fire doesn't work on it."
"It is elemental proof Lass, but it's not indestructible," Tasha explained. "Like all material, if it's exposed to high temperatures long enough, it can be melted, especially in its raw form. It's only when it's in its processed form that it's almost impervious to elemental forces."
Naruto then entered Sage Mode and used a bit of Frog Kumite on Spiro's armor, but to his surprise, the natural energy from his attack bounced right off. "I think I get it now. The armor blocks natural energy, that's how it withstood the Truth-Seeking Orb."
"Of course," Hinata gasped.
"Care to explain," Kagome asked.
"During the battle with the Ten-Tails, my summoning animal, a toad named Gamakichi, used a water-style technique that wasn't affected by Obito Uchiha's Truth-Seeking Orb," Naruto explained. "I soon realized that that was because both were infused with nature energy and nature energy works against itself. In other words…"
"Draconium is essentially nature proof," Sora finished.
"That's the silliest thing I've ever heard," Kairi giggled.
"Perhaps, but then again, so is the idea that there are other worlds out there besides our own," Tasha pointed out.
Everyone agreed to Tasha's statement and laughed.
At their room, Sakura and Syaoran entered and sat on the bed.
"Okay, Sakura," said Syaoran with concern. "Are you ready to tell me what's wrong?"
Sakura took a deep breath before answering, "Everything's happening so fast. First Xehanort, then this S.H.I.E.L.D. business, then our battle with the Five Kage, and now some Soul Reaper who tried to kill me, not to mention that one woman who tried to shoot me back at the campus. What is the cosmos coming to?"
Syaoran, seeing how confused his girlfriend was, hugged her, comforting her in her time of confusion. Feeling Syaoran's empathy, Sakura turned in his hug and hugged him back in response. Eventually, exhausted from everything that happened that day, both fell asleep in their embrace, allowing the simplicity of sleep help them forget all that they went through for some time. However even as they slept, they were about to find out just how serious their situation was about to get.
Back at Ramen Ichiraku, everyone had finished eating their ramen and Naruto payed for it.
"That was good," Inuyasha commented.
"Indeed," Spiro agreed. "But I think now's the time to get some shut eye."
"I agree," said Aang. "See you guys tomorrow."
Everyone then made their way to where they were each sleeping. Inuyasha, Kagome, Aang, Katara, Sora, Kairi, and Tomoyo all went to their hotel rooms, Spiro and Tasha flew off to a cave they were staying at, and Naruto and Hinata went to Naruto's apartment. Hinata had something she wanted to show Naruto.
At the apartment, Naruto and Hinata entered and the blonde Sage of Six Paths was wondering what could be so important.
"Okay Hinata, what did you want to show me," Naruto asked.
Hinata then activated her Byakugan. This was nothing new to Naruto, but then the next thing he knew, half of Hinata's Byakugan turned black. Her eyes now resembled the Yin-Yang symbol, much to his shock.
"What's going on," Naruto questioned before remembering what he saw while battling Xemnas. "I remember those eyes!"
"This is my new power, Naruto," Hinata explained. "It's still incomplete, but this is the upgrade to the Byakugan similar to the Mangekyō Sharingan. It is known as the Onmyōdō Byakugan (陰陽道白眼, Literally meaning: Yin–Yang White Eye, Meaning (Viz): Yin–Yang All Seeing White Eye)."
In their hotel rooms Inuyasha and Kagome as well as Sora and Kairi were going over what had happened during the battle with the Kage. Inuyasha and Kagome talked about the new form of Tetsusaiga known as the Red Diamond Tetsusaiga while Sora and Kairi talked about the form Sora took on which they dubbed as his Light Form.
"So Tetsusaiga took on a new form today," Kagome acknowledged. "And you're calling it the Red Diamond Tetsusaiga?"
"Yeah, what of it," Inuyasha questioned.
"That sounds rather redundant," said Kagome.
"Well, what else would you call it," Inuyasha pointed out.
Kagome had no answer to this. "Do you think Tetsusaiga will have other forms that mix two of its previous forms?"
"Probably," Inuyasha took out Tetsusaiga from its sheath, but kept it in its sealed form as all he desired was to look at it. "It would be interesting to see a form that mixes the Black Tetsusaiga and the Diamond Tetsusaiga."
"I'm all for a form that's a cross between the Red Tetsusaiga and the Dragon Scale Tetsusaiga," Kagome imagined. "Perhaps even a cross between the Diamond Tetsusaiga and the Dragon Scale Tetsusaiga or a cross between the Red Tetsusaiga and the Black Tetsusaiga."
"What about a cross between the Dragon Scale Tetsusaiga and the Black Tetsusaiga," Inuyasha asked. "With that, I could cut through demonic auras and form a portal to the nether world at the same time. The possibilities are endless."
"Maybe, but we don't know how dangerous these new forms will be," Kagome acknowledged in realization. "It's probably best that we stick to just the Red Diamond Tetsusaiga until we know just how powerful it is."
"I guess," Inuyasha reluctantly agreed as he put his sword back in its sheath.
"So what do you think you'll call this form," Kairi asked Sora.
"I'll probably call it my Light Form," Sora answered. "It's different from my drive forms before. Maybe we should speak to Merlin and Master Yen Sid about this."
"That's probably a good idea," Kairi agreed. "We don't know what kind of side effects this new transformation will have on you in the long run."
"Yeah good point," Sora agreed. "Maybe in the future, I have a Dark Form or a Light and Dark form."
"And perhaps you'll have forms similar to your Drive Forms," Kairi giggled.
Sora and Kairi giggled together.
"Well, I think I'll hit the sack," Sora yawned.
"Yeah, me too," Kairi yawned.
The two Keyblade Wielders then got into bed together and got some sleep.
In the Soul Society, all the soul reaper captains were discussing what was going to go down in the coming days to their lieutenants. Naturally, the lieutenants were opposed to this as it meant mass destruction to the world of the living, but the captains told them that there was no other way. However, there was one more task the Stealth Force needed to complete before the other captains could mount their attack. They were tasked by the Department of Research and Development to gather more information on each individual member of the Horyus.
"So let me get this straight, Captain," said Marechiyo. "All thirteen captains and lieutenants are going to face off against the Horyus at once with our restraints off and the Stealth Force is to gather more information on them for the Department of Research and Development beforehand?"
"Quite," Suì-Fēng confirmed.
"But I don't get it," said Marechiyo, obviously missing the point. "What good will that do?"
Suì-Fēng sighed, "You saw that battle with Xehanort. These monsters are no joke. If we're going to face them, we must have a backup plan in case our combined spiritual pressure isn't enough to defeat them."
"But captain, if we go there with our limiters off, won't that cause more destruction than necessary," Marechiyo questioned.
"Why do you think we were tasked to gather more information on them," Suì-Fēng questioned. "The Department of Research and Development is devising a plan to take out the Horyus without resorting to us taking off our limiters. However, they need more information on each and every member. If we have more information, we can make a better attack without resorting to causing needless destruction."
Marechiyo understood.
In the Shinobi World, Naruto and Hinata were at Naruto's apartment, sleeping together in the same bed. It was mostly out of Hinata's insistence. Naruto was surprised how brave Hinata had become, but he knew that she had changed a lot since their days gennin, no longer the shy timid girl he knew from the academy. However, he could also tell that she was really nervous about this as this was a bold knew thing for her. I was one small step for the Hyuga clan and one giant leap for her.
"Hinata, I can't believe you actually insisted on this," said Naruto. "But are you sure you want to do this?"
Hinata, still showing some of her timid nature, answered, "I'm sure Naruto. Don't wo-worry about it… I-I've made up m-my mind to do this."
"We don't have to do this if you're uncomfortable," Naruto told his girlfriend.
"No," Hinata said firmly, catching Naruto off guard. "I want this, Naruto. I want you."
Naruto gulped before accepting Hinata and the two moved together before they locked lips with each other. They kissed for a moment or two before they broke the kiss as they had a few more things to say to each other.
"Thanks again for saving me, Naruto," Hinata smiled.
"You know, that's the 55th time you've said that, Hinata," Naruto snickered.
Hinata giggled, "And I intend to say it more times in the future."
"Yeah," Naruto asked.
"Yeah," Hinata answered.
Naruto were about to kiss again when suddenly they both heard something or someone calling out… "Help me…!"
Both stopped upon hearing this.
"Did you say something," Hinata asked.
"That wasn't me," Naruto answered.
Then they heard it again… "Help me…!"
"What's going on," Hinata asked.
"Hinata, I think I should tell you something," Naruto explained.
In their hotel room Sakura and Syaoran were both having a dream about certain events.
Syaoran's dream:
In Syaoran's dream, he found himself back in Yūko's shop. He was reliving a past event, one he experienced earlier that day while the Horyus faced off against the Kage.
"If it comes down to that, will I be able to feel that way about her again," Syaoran questioned.
"I'm afraid there is only one way to find out," Yūko answered.
Syaoran sighed as he realized that in order to help out Sakura in the long run, he might once again have to let something or even someone precious to him go. "What's the price?"
"You can give up the feelings you have for Sakura in order to protect her, or you can work here in order to pay off your debt," Yūko explained. "Don't give me your answer right away. If you believe you cannot handle this, you only have to say no. In the meantime, I believe your girlfriend is still battling the Kage in the Shinobi World."
Syaoran then realized that Yūko was right and with the help of Mokana, made his way back to the Shinobi World.
Sakura's dream:
In Sakura's dream, she found herself in a strange but familiar place. It was similar to the dreams she had before of Tokyo Tower. She was in a battle costume similar in design to the one she wore when she faced Eriol in order to transform the Light and Dark Cards. The only difference was that there was pink where the white should be, fuchsia where the yellow should be, and yellow where the red should be.
Looking around, Sakura saw what appeared to be a gigantic maze, one filled with multiple samurai warrior-like individuals and several monsters. In front of her was a certain individual Sakura had seen before.
"It's you," Sakura gasped.
The individual Sakura saw was none other than the soul reaper that had poisoned her earlier that day, Suì-Fēng.
"I'm here to finish what I started," Suì-Fēng narrowed her eyes at Sakura.
Sakura gasped and realized she had to get out of there and fast.
"FLY…!"
Sakura tried using the Fly Card to fly away from Suì-Fēng. However, to her surprise, the Soul Reaper Captain caught up to her and knocked her out of the sky and onto a building roof nearby. It was there where Sakura was pinned down by Suì-Fēng.
"What are you going to do," Sakura panicked.
Suì-Fēng's only answer was, "I'm going to kill you."
Upon hearing this, Sakura struggled to get away, but Suì-Fēng had her pinned down heard. She even tried using her staff, but the soul reaper knocked it away and destroyed all of her cards, rendering her defenseless. Suì-Fēng then activated her Zampakuto and thrusted it straight into Sakura's heart as the Card Captor screamed.
"EEEEIIII…!"
End of both dreams:
And that was chapter 6, and I hope you enjoyed that cliffhanger there with Sakura's nightmare. Now for those of you who are wondering, yes I'm well aware of just how much power Sora and Naruto posses, but they're not the ones being tested right now. As I mentioned at the start of this story, this instalment is mostly Sakura's journey. Naruto and Sora already had their turn with the first Horyus during the battle against Xehanort, but now it's Sakura's turn to shine.
As I mentioned before, Draconium is stronger than any real life metal much like Vibrainium, Nth Metal, Chrome Digizoid, and Adamantium. But what makes it unique is its ability to withstand elemental forces. As Spiro mentioned in the chapter itself, the world of Land of Dragons doesn't have four or five elements, it has ten. Those elements are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Ice, Wood, Metal, Light, and Darkness, with the last two being comparable to Naruto's Yin and Yang chakra natures. And if you're wondering, yes, I based this off of the Ten Legendary Warriors from Digimon. However, I only said that it can withstand elemental attacks, but it's not completely immune to said forces as Naruto's Truth-Seeking Orbs WERE able to damage it, they just couldn't break it.
Anyway as you can see, Hinata showed off an upgraded version of the Byakugan known as the Onmyōdō Byakugan, basically the Byakugan equivalent to the Mangekyō Sharingan. I'll show in detail on what it can do and how it's obtained later, but for now, all you need to know is that many of the Onmyōdō Byakugan's abilities will be similar to, but will also be polar opposites of the Mangekyō Sharingan's abilities. I know that sounds redundant, but then again, the Tenseigan already did that by being to the Byakugan what the Rinnegan is to the Sharingan. And as you can guess, it's the middle stage of the Byakugan's evolution to the Tenseigan.
