Hello and welcome to chapter 12. Last time, Sakura unleashed her fury against Lucy after witnessing her brother getting killed and sadly civilians in Kamakura suffered because of it. Syaoran was able to clam her down and Sakura was able to defeat Lucy without killing her using the "Dormammu Bargain". For those of you who are wondering, yes, Sakura did get disemboweled by Lucy's vectors. Now when the two fought, all that mattered to Sakura was defeating Lucy, especially without killing her after she regained her sanity. However, I'm sure it won't be a surprise if she were to have nightmares when all of this is over.
Anyway for this chapter, the Avengers are about to face off against the Sound Five, Team Dosu, and the currently evil Future Avengers. I know it doesn't seem like much for some of you, but considering that the three teams have been responsible for all of the kidnappings, I believe it was only a matter of time before they would face them. But rather than spoiling everything, I'll let you read and see for yourself. Besides, I'm sure some of my fellow Marvel fans, specifically those who have watched Marvel Future Avengers, are curious to find out how well Makoto, Chloe, Adi, and Bruno would have done against the Avengers if they had actually faced off.

Chapter 12:
At Karakura Town while Sakura was fighting Lucy, two of Ichigo's friends, Tatsuki Arisawa and Keigo Asano were walking through town heading for Kisuke Urahara's shop. It had been several days since Ichigo and the others were kidnapped and the two were really worried about them.
"Tell me again why we're heading for that guy's shop, Tatsuki," Keigo questioned.
"For the last time, we're going there to get answers as to what happened to Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, and Uryu," Tatsuki sighed. "Now get that through your think skull and stop asking the same thing over and over."
"Okay, okay, sorry," Keigo defended himself. "No need to get all huffy and puffy or blow my house in."
"Very funny," Tatsuki rolled her eyes.
Just then, the two stumbled upon the shop where they saw Isshin, Yoruichi, Tessai, Kisuke, Rukia, and Renji pooring their spirit energy into a special sword.
"I hope this works," Renji told the others.
"Will it work, Kisuke," Rukia questioned.
"It's only an experiment," Kisuke told them. "If it works, it'll probably only last for one night only. However, that'll also mean that we were successful in restoring Ichigo's powers even if it's only temporarily. If the test run is successful, then we'll have the rest of the 13 Court Guard Squads poor their spirit energy into the sword, which will likely restore Ichigo's powers perminantely."
"I hope it works," Renji told him. "Afterall, I owe him for saving Rukia."
"You still use that as your only reason, Renji," Rukia teased.
"Shut up," Renji retorted. "One more word out of you, and I'll have to execute you myself."
Everyone laughed, but then they got serious again.
"I still can't believe that Ichigo and the others were captured by this terrorist organization called Hydra," said Rukia.
"Not to mention all of those other people who were captured by them," Renji pointed out.
"That's why we have to get this to Ichigo ASAP," Isshin told them. "If we only knew where they were."
Just then, Yoruichi noticed Tatsuki and Keigo. "Well, looks like we've got company."
The others looked and saw Tatsuki and Keigo.
"What are you guys doing here," Rukia asked.
Back at Kamakura, Syaoran, Meilin, Tomoyo, Kero and Yukito were inside the van, still taking in what they witnessed back at the beach when Toya was decapitated, especially Yukito.
"I can't believe Toya's gone," Tomoyo sighed in sadness.
"Tell me about it," Yukito cried.
"But just imagine how Sakura must be feeling," Kero pointed out.
"We've got to stop her rampage before she unintentionally hurts any innocent people out there," said Meilin.
"Yes, but how," Suddenly, Syaoran overheard what Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Captain America said. Emerging from the van, he told them, "Get me closer to Sakura! I'd reach her!"
"Are you out of your mind, Kid," Hawkeye questioned. "You'll be killed…!"
"Do you have a better idea," Syaoran argued.
"Syaoran, I understand where you're coming from, but don't be foolish," Natasha pointed out. "Toya already payed the price for me getting any of you involved in the first place, don't let your personal feelings for Sakura cloud your judgement."
"Perhaps it's your personal feelings that're clouding your judgement, Natasha," Syaoran argued back. "Look we don't have time to argue. I've got the best chance at reaching out to Sakura before it's too late!"
Natasha wanted to argue, but she knew that Syaoran was right. Taking out her motorcycle, Natasha drove Syaoran around the city to reach Sakura. Hawkeye and Captain America followed on their own motor cycles, Mockingbird drove the van, and Iron Man followed by air. As the tornado died down, they saw Lucy fall from the sky.
"I just spotted Lucy," Iron Man called out. "She's landing in the Jouju-in Cemetery."
"They that's where we're going," Natasha drove on.
As soon as they reached the cemetery, Syaoran got off and ran into the place just in time to see what was happening. Lucy was lying on the ground, paralyzed from the lightning bolt that struck her earlier, and Sakura was just ten meters away from her, ready to deliver a killing blow.
"Prepare yourself, Lucy," Sakura said with hostility. "This is where you die."
"Then be done with it already," Lucy shut her eyes.
Sakura then raised her staff, but before she could use any of her cards, Syaoran got in between them to stop them.
"SAKURA, STOP…!"
Sakura did as she was told and halted her attack while Lucy opened her eyes to see what was going on.
"Syaoran," Sakura gasped before shouting, "Why are you protecting her?! She killed Toya…! You saw for yourself…!"
"But this isn't the answer," Syaoran argued.
"Syaoran, get out of the way," Sakura ordered.
"No," Syaoran shouted. "This is wrong…! This isn't like you, Sakura…! You're not a killer…!"
Sakura was confused while Lucy watched with confusion.
"Look around you," Syaoran gestured towards the destruction done to Kamakura. "This is where the path of vengeance has brought you…! Is this what you want to be?!"
Sakura looked around and saw the damage that was caused during her grudge match against Lucy. Everything that Maria Hill had warned her and her teammates about at the Prime Minister's Office was actualized. As the reality of what she had done sank in, Sakura got on her knees, looked at her hands and started to cry.
"What have I done," Sakura sobbed.
As she cried, Syaoran walked up to her and hugged her to help calm her down. "It's okay, Sakura. You didn't know what you were doing. I'm here, I'm here."
But the moment was short lived as Lucy regained her movement and told them, "Not for long, you won't be…!"
Both boyfriend and girlfriend looked and saw Lucy get back up and prepare for another attack. Now it was Lucy who had a menacing look on her face and Sakura knew that she had to do something in order to stop her.
"Lucy," Syaoran gasped.
"You tried to kill me," Lucy spat at Sakura. "And now it's my turn to make you pay…!"
"Syaoran, get out of here," Sakura told her boyfriend.
"Sakura," Syaoran tried to argue.
"Don't argue with me, just go," Sakura activated the Move Card and teleported Syaoran away from the cemetery.
Moments later, Syaoran reappeared back in Natasha's motorcycle.
"What the," Syaoran gasped.
"What are you doing back here," Hawkeye questioned.
"Sakura must have teleported me away," Syaoran gasped.
"We'll handle it from here," Captain America then led Black Widow, Hawkeye, Mockingbird, and Iron Man into the cemetery. "Stop right there..!"
"Don't come any closer," Sakura activated the Shield Card, creating a barrier around the cemetery, preventing herself and Lucy from exiting and anyone else from entering.
"What's going on up there," Tomoyo questioned.
"And why did Sakura send you away like that," Meilin questioned.
"I don't know, but we have to get back up there," Syaoran told them.
"Be careful," Kero told them. "Lucy's dangerous."
Syaoran, Tomoyo and Meilin then let the van and ran as fast as they could into the cemetery to help Sakura. When they got there, they saw the Avengers standing still.
"Sakura," all three called out.
"Don't come any closer," Natasha called out.
Tomoyo and Meilin both obliged, but Syaoran continued until he hit the barrier.
"What, the Shield Card," Syaoran gasped upon hitting the barrier.
"She must be using it to keep everyone else from getting involved," Meilin correctly deduced.
"We've got to find a way in there," said Natasha.
Suddenly Hulk arrived on the scene. "How about I smash the barrier?"
"Wait a minute Hulk," said Iron Man. "We've got to find a weak spot in the barrier before we break through."
"No wait," said Cap., catching their attention. "Lucy the Diclonius Queen is inside of that force field. If we break through it without a real plan, she'll kill us all in a heartbeat."
"But what about Sakura," Syaoran pointed out. "She's trapped inside with her…!"
"The kid's right," Natasha agreed. "Her brother was killed earlier and I didn't do anything to stop it…! Keeping these children safe is my responsibility…! What if Sakura gets killed by that monster…?"
"We'll just have to trust that she has a plan in mind," Captain America pointed out.
"Sakura," Tomoyo had her video camera with her, recording what was going on inside the barrier, but worried for her cousin nonetheless.
At Jouju-in Temple, Vanitas was watching Sakura and Lucy's battle from afar. "Foolish little girl. How does it feel to know that your actions caused so much chaos, destruction, and death to the very city you were trying to protect? Now you're going face your fate at the hands, or should I say vectors, of Lucy."
Suddenly, "Deadpool inserted himself into the story again. And if I were you Vanitas, I wouldn't count my chickens until after they've hatched."
"Who are you and how do you know my name," Vanitas gasped.
"I read the previous Horyus and I played Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep," Deadpool told him. "And the writer learned about you by watching the cutscenes of Birth By Sleep on YouTube. Besides that, you got your ass wooped by Sakura in the previous Horyus and that's why you have a grudge against her."
"Oh, shut up," Vanitas retaliated by swinging his Keyblade at Deadpool.
Deadpool blocked it with his carbonadium sword. "Glad you saw my Death Battle with Deathstroke because I really needed this."
Suddenly the Sound Five arrived with Makoto, Chloe, Adi, and Bruno.
"Oh, I forgot that you guys were in this fanfiction," Deadpool remarked.
"Uh… What fanfiction," Chloe questioned out of confusion.
"Don't worry about him," Kimimaro told her. "Focus on the task at hand."
"He has a point," Vanitas agreed, taking his Keyblade away.
At the Cemetery, Sakura came out from behind the tree.
"It's over Lucy," Sakura declared. "This ends now…!"
"I couldn't agree more," Lucy told her.
Sakura then rushed right at Lucy and took out one of her cards. But before she could activate it, Lucy extended a vector and cut off her right arm which held her staff. Blood gushed out of Sakura's arm moments after it was severed and Sakura screamed in pain.
"AAAHHH…!"
"Aha," Vanitas gasped in delight.
"Yikes," Makoto, Chloe, Adi, and Bruno all gasped.
"Wow, that bitch isn't holding back," Tayuya commented.
"Watch your language," Jirobo told her.
"Shut up," Tayuya retorted.
Sakura was about to cover her wound with her left hand when Lucy cut off her left leg, causing her to fall down to the ground.
"Oh, it hurts," Sakura whimpered in pain. "It hurts…! My staff…!"
Sakura tried to reach for her staff with her left arm, but Lucy cut it off as well along with her right leg. Sakura, now limbless, just lied there face up as the Diclonius Queen hovered over her, ready to deliver the final blow.
"That's it, Lucy," said Vanitas. "Finish her off…!"
"Are you suffering," Lucy questioned her. "Does it hurt yet? Don't worry, I'll put you out of your misery."
Lucy then used her vector one more time and decapitated Sakura. Her head rolled to the side as Sakura was now lifeless.
"Yes," Vanitas smiled villainously.
"And K.O.," said Deadpool. "Or so you think."
But then something strange happened. Sakura came out from behind the tree unharmed.
"It's over Lucy," Sakura declared. "This ends now…!"
"I couldn't agree more," Lucy told her.
"What the," gasped everyone on the temple, accept for Deadpool.
"Yeah, like I said I saw what happened in the last chapter so we won't even bother replaying all the details," Deadpool pointed out to the readers.
"What happened," Vanitas gasped.
Lucy then killed Sakura four more times only for Sakura to reappear from behind that tree that many times as well.
"It's over Lucy," Sakura declared. "This ends now…!"
"Again," Lucy gasped. "What's happening?"
"You have your powers and I have mine," Sakura told her. "What you're witnessing right now is time, endless looped time."
"Time," Lucy gasped before realizing what she meant. "Oh god, you've trapped us in a timeloop…!"
"Exactly," Sakura confirmed.
"And we all know what happens next so let's just watch Vanitas' reaction to this, shall we," Deadpool turned the camera towards Vanitas. "Oh and uh, don't be surprised if he sounds like Marik from Yu-Gi-Oh in this instance people."
"This can't be," Vanitas thought. "Whenever Sakura reappears from behind that tree, Lucy automatically attacks her, and because she keeps reverseing time until right before she comes out of hiding, she will emerge unharmed and then Lucy will attack again. Lucy doesn't have any trouble taking out Kinomoto each time she shows herself, but it doesn't matter because she's trapped."
"DAMN IT," Vanitas shouted. "THERE'S NO WAY OUT…!"
"That's right, Vanitas," said Deadpool. "Once Lucy runs out of cards to draw, she will automatically lose this dual. As powerful as your weapon is, no monster is without weakness and the Diclonius Queen's flaw lies within her special ability, her invisible hands attack."
"What does he mean by cards to draw," Makoto questioned. "They're not playing Yu-Gi-Oh or anything, this is a death match."
"Don't worry about him," Bruno pointed out. "Focus on the task at hand."
Sakura's timeloop went on until Lucy was too exhausted to user her vectors anymore.
"That's enough," Lucy panted. "That's enough… THAT'S ENOUGH…!"
It happened again. Sakura came out from behind the tree unharmed.
"It's over Lucy," Sakura declared. "This ends now…!"
Lucy screamed at the top of her lungs, "STOP…!"
Sakura just stood there as Lucy collapsed onto her arms and knees, panting. Lucy then showed her face, showing nothing by sadness and fatigue, tears rolling down her face.
"No more," Lucy genuinely begged. "Please… No more…"
"Sakura has turned Lucy's forcel habbit against her, causing her to use up all of the cards in her dualing deck," Deadpool pointed out, still making Yu-Gi-Oh references. "And that means Sakura wins, it's over…!"
"Damn it," Vanitas slammed his fist in frustration. "HOW COULD THE DICLONIUS QUEEN LOSE TO A MEAR CHILD…? You'll pay for this Sakura Kinomoto…! You may have defeated Lucy, but I still have some tricks up my sleave, ready to take you down…! So savor this victory while you can because it will be your last…!"
Vanitas then disappeared into a corridor of darkness.
"And I think that's enough for the Yu-Gi-Oh references," Deadpool then left. "But rest assured I'll be back…!"
"Okay, glad that's over," Adi admitted.
"Alright, let's get going," Kimimaro announced.
"Right," Tayuya bit her thum and drew blood.
Kidōmaru did the same.
"SUMMONING JUTSU…!"
Tayuya and Kidōmaru then summoned something each, Tayuya summoned her three Rage Ogres and Kidōmaru summoned a giant spider named Kyodaigumo.
At Karakura, Tatsuki and Keigo were walking around town, carrying the sword Kisuke and the others had made for Ichigo. As they walked, Keigo was the first to question Tatsuki. "Okay, so let me get this straight, Tatsuki. Your plan is to have us walk around town carrying this sword that Urahara guy made for Ichigo and wait until those kidnappers come after us so they can take us to where Ichigo and the others are being held?"
"Yep," Tatsuki confirmed.
"What are you thinking Tatsuki," Keigo complained. "Are you crazy or something?"
"Shut up," Tatsuki told him. "I figured that if Hydra had captured Ichigo and the others, it must have been because of their abilities. We both have the ability to see ghost, which is rather redundant now since spirits are now visible to everyone for some reason, and we were able to withstand that creep Aizen's energy when he appeared in town over a year ago. So I figured that if Hydra was after "gifted" individuals, they would probably come after us sooner or later."
"But if that's true, then should they have captured us at the same time they captured Ichigo and the others," Keigo argued.
"Don't argue with me, Keigo," said Tatsuki. "If you don't want to participate, then go home where you'll be safe."
Suddenly a voice came out. "A little late for that…!"
Before the two could react, they were surrounded by Dosu, Kin, and Zaku.
"Who are you," Tatsuki questioned.
"I am Dosu Kinuta," Dosu identified himself.
"I am Kin Tsuchi," Kin identified herself.
"I am Zaku Abumi," Zaku identified himself.
At Kamakura, the battle between Sakura and Lucy had wound down. Sakura had defeated Lucy, Natasha had escorted Tomoyo and Meilin back to the van, and Syaoran stayed behind to comfort Sakura in case she needed it.
"You should go with them," Steve Rogers told Syaoran.
"Thanks for the suggestion, Captain," said Syaoran with respect. "But Sakura needs me, so with respect, I'll stick around."
Before Captain America could say anything else, the Sound Five made their move and attacked. "Look out…!"
Tayuya's Rage Ogres were the first to show up. Sakura and Lucy both gasped.
"What the hell are these things," Hawkeye gasped.
"Dummies, ready to be smashed," Hulk punched his hand.
"Keep your guard up, Hulk," said Iron Man. "We don't know what these things are capable of."
Suddenly, the Rage Ogres went into the cemetery and attempted to surround Sakura and Lucy.
"Oh no, you don't," said Captain America. "Hulk, smash them…!"
"With pleasure," Hulk charged at the Rage Ogres and punched the shirtless one, sending it flying into the trees nearby.
The one with the club then counter attacked, using its club to strike the Hulk. The one in bandages also attacked the Hulk. Hulk managed to block both, only to be hit in the face by the reappearance of the shirtless one. Luckily for Hulk, this was nothing new and he smiled and got back to the business of fighting them.
While Hulk was dealing with the Rage Ogres, Iron Man's armor picked up something.
"Sir, I'm picking up a strange melody coming from the trees surrounding the cemetery," J.A.R.V.I.S. informed Tony. "I believe the source is that of a flute."
"A flute," Tony questioned. "Who would want to bring a musical instrument to a battlefield?"
"Tony, look out," Hawkeye intercepted an incoming arrow with his own arrow.
Suddenly, Kyodaigumo came in and spun her web. Once that was done, she produced a sack of spider eggs. As that happened, the Sound Five themselves appeared atop Kyodaigumo's abdomen, Tayuya was still playing her flute. They were immediately followed by Makoto, Chloe, Adi, and Bruno and quickly summoned Team Dosu, with Kin were carrying Tatsuki Arisawa on her back and Zaku carrying Keigo Asano on his back.
"Who are you guys," Mockingbird questioned.
"The ones who will be taking possession of Sakura Kinomoto and Lucy," Kimimaro answered.
"We won't let you do that," Captain America told them. "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE…!"
Getting the signal, the other Avengers arrived at the cemetery, Thor using Mjolnir and Ant-Man hitching a ride with Wasp.
"Mockingbird, go help Natasha protect the van and everyone in it," Captain America ordered.
"Yes sir," Mockingbird then made her way to the van.
"I recommend your surrender, mortals," Thor told them.
"I don't think so," Kimimaro replied. "Sakon, Ukon, separate from each other and work with Jirōbō and Kidōmaru. The four of you will use the Four Flames Formation to contain Sakura and Lucy. Kin, you take care of those two, the rest of us will handle this rift raft."
"Right…!"
Sakon and Ukon then separated and joined Jirōbō and Kidōmaru. Forming the necessary hand signs, they activated their jutsu.
"NINJA ART: FOUR FLAMES FORMATION…!"
Kin jumped into the barrier before it was finished and faced Sakura and Lucy. Sakon, Ukon, Jirōbō, and Kidōmaru stood inside the barrier and put up a barrier around themselves so that Lucy could not attack them with her vectors and Sakura could not attack them with her magic, just in case.
"Another force field," Iron Man gasped.
"Impressive, but no match for the prince of Asgard," Thor twirled Mjolnir around and prepared to throw it at the barrier.
"Oh shit," Sakon gasped.
"If he hits the barrier with that hammer, the barrier will be shattered," Ukon gasped.
"Don't worry about Thor," said Makoto. "Bruno and I can handle him…!"
"Right," Bruno agreed. "Let's go, Makoto…!"
Makoto and Bruno then flew into the air and attacked Thor. Seeing the incoming attackers, Thor was forced to use Mjolnir against Makoto and Bruno instead of the barrier as he originally intended. But as he threw it, Makoto surprised him as he was able to catch Mjolnir.
"Odin's Beard," Thor gasped.
"My turn," Makoto threw Mjolnir back at the God of Thunder, striking him down with his own weapon before he could react.
"Thor," Iron Man gasped.
"You've got bigger problems to worry about, Iron Man," said Adi as he grabbed onto Stark's armor.
Next thing Iron Man knew, his armor went out of control and he started shooting repulser blasts everywhere.
"Your turn," Kimimaru took out one of his bones and transformed it into a sword.
"You're using your own bone as a sword," Steve questioned.
"Don't underestimate it," Kimimaro told him. "This is no ordinary bone. It's of the highest density, as hard as tempered steel."
Kimimaro charged at the captain, attempting to slash at him with his sword. But Captain America was quick to respond, using his shield to block the attack. To Kimimaro's surprise, his bone sword did not penetrate the shield; it didn't even leave a scratch.
"As hard as tempered steel, huh," Rogers smirked before getting serious again. "Too bad that's an empty threat against a shield made of Vibranium…!"
Captain America then shoved Kimimaro away using his shield, slamming him into a nearby tree.
In the barrier, Sakura and Lucy watched the battles unfold. All around, the Avengers battled against the enemy. Tayuya played her flute, using her Rage Ogres to keep the Hulk occupied. Makoto and Bruno took on Thor, preventing him from attacking the barrier, with Makoto even using Thor's own weapon against him. Kimimaro fought Captain America, using his bones to attack, but the captain used his vibranium shield to deflect the bones. Zaku faced Ant-Man, using his Slicing Sound Wave to deal damage to man, but Ant-Man countered by having ants attack Zaku while he was distracted. Wasp attempted to help Ant-Man, but Chloe intercepted her. Adi used his technology manipulation abilities to tamper with Iron Man's armor so that he couldn't help his friends. Hawkeye tried to shoot the others down with his arrows, but Dosu deflected the arrows wherever they were shot. The only ones not fighting were Black Widow and Mockingbird, who were guarding the van Tomoyo, Meilin, Kero, and Yukito were in, and the rest of the Sound Four who were maintaining the barrier.
"Looks like it's just you and me," said Kin told the two girls.
"Don't be so sure," Sakura panted as she took out one of her cards.
"MOVE…!"
Activating the Move Card, Sakura teleported Syaoran into the inside of the barrier where he stood between Kin, Lucy, and his girlfriend in order to protect the two from the sound ninja.
"Couldn't you have used that thing to teleport us outside of this barrier," Lucy questioned.
"They would have just reformed the barrier around us," Sakura pointed out. "Besides, do you really want to go outside with all of those guys waiting for us in our conditions?"
Lucy wanted to object, but she knew that Sakura was right. They were both exhausted from their fight so Lucy couldn't use her vectors and Sakura probably used up the last of her magic.
"In any case, we could use this as an opportunity to recharge our powers," Sakura got into a meditated position and started replenishing her magic.
"Don't get anywhere near her," Syaoran told Kin.
Kin chuckled, "You really think you can defeat me, foolish little boy?"
"No," Syaoran drew his sword. "I will defeat you, if that's what it takes."
"Why are they fighting them," Lucy questioned.
"Because that's what they do," Sakura answered.
"No, I mean, why are they fighting them to save me," Lucy questioned. "I'm a monster and I killed a lot of people."
Hulk was sent flying into the barrier, but despite hitting it, he didn't burn. "Because, that's what heroes do."
Before Hulk could say anything else, the Rage Ogres attacked him once again.
Tayuya continued to play her flute, making the Rage Ogres attack Hulk. But just when things were getting good, a sniper bullet was fired and knocked Tayuya's flute out of her hands.
"What the," Tayuya gasped.
"Sorry bitch," Agent Mania suddenly showed herself. "You just got bit…!"
"Who the hell are you," Tayuya questioned.
Agent Venom then showed up and answered, "The ones who'll be taking you in."
"Don't make me laugh," Tayuya chuckled before activating her curse mark.
Meanwhile, Makoto and Bruno were giving Thor a hard time as Makoto was using Thor's hammer against him. Seeing Mjölnir being wielded by such a young boy made the god of thunder realize one thing.
"You, why are you working for Hydra," Thor questioned.
"Let me ask you a question," Makoto countered. "Why have you Avengers helping the Horyus? They're a danger to our world and they have to be destroyed…!"
"And what have they done to be considered a threat," Thor questioned.
"They were born," Bruno bluntly answered before attacking.
But just as Bruno was about to strike Thor, a small Iron Man suit came in and tackled him and Makoto, much to the God of Thunder's surprise.
"Stark, I had no idea you had an Iron Man Suit as a child," Thor radioed.
"I didn't," Iron Man told him. "J.A.R.V.I.S., what's going on?"
"Good to see you, Mr. Stark," said the voice of the one inside the small Iron Man armor.
"Oh no," Iron Man sighed.
"Who the hell are you," said Makoto.
The individual then showed his face and answered, "Name's Akira Akatsuki, but you can just call me Iron Kid…!"
Moments later, Chloe was attacked out of nowhere by what looked like a kid version of Wasp.
"What the hell," said Chloe.
"Got you, blonde," said the kid. "Prepare to be speared by the Falconfly…!"
"Falconfly, really," Chloe commented. "You're using the name of a creature from The Future is Wild?"
"Jessica Shannon," Wasp gasped recognizing Falconfly's voice.
"Shhh, not so loud," Jessica shushed her idle.
"Whatever," said Chloe. "You're both going down…!"
In the barrier, Syaoran attacked Kin with his spells.
"OBEY THE COMMAND…! FIRE GOD, COME FORTH…!"
Attacking with his fire spell, Syaoran shot a flamethrower attack on the kunoichi, forcing her to avoid the flames. Acting on instinct, Kin threw a few senbon, some with bells attached to the ends and some without bells. Syaoran was quick to deflect them with his sword, but then the next thing he knew, some of the bells attached to the senbon began to ring.
Utilizing the ringing of the bells, Kin produced a sound wave that traveled through Syaoran's eardrum directly into his brain, paralyzing him. This also caused him to hallucinate and see multiple images of Kin, making it difficult for Syaoran to tell the real Kin from the illusions. Kin then took advantage of this and threw more senbon at him, again, some with bells and some without bells. Syaoran reacted to the bells, but was unable to avoid the senbon.
"Syaoran," Sakura gasped.
Lucy tried to use her vectors, but Kin's Bell Ring Genjutsu affected her and Sakura as well. Realizing that it was the sound of the bells causing this, Sakura quickly took out one of her cards before she could become completely paralyzed and activated it.
"SILENT…!"
Activating the Silent Card, Sakura was able to teleport Kin and her bells outside of the barrier, much to her surprise.
"What the," Kin gasped.
"Come on, Bitch," Tayuya accused. "What the fuck's wrong with you…?!"
"Like you're one to talk," Kin pointed out while picking up Tayuya's flute.
Before either of them could go back into the barrier to take out Sakura, Lucy, and Syaoran, Thor showed up swinging his hammer as if he were about to throw it.
"For the glory of Asgard," Thor then threw Mjölnir into the barrier.
The hammer was so powerful that it caused the barrier to pop like a balloon upon contact.
"Damn it," Sakon gasped.
"Looks like we'll have to get our hands dirty after all," Ukon pointed out.
Kimimaro noticed this and ordered, "Sound Five, activate your curse marks…!"
"Curse marks," everyone thought.
Moments later, the Sound Five all activated their curse marks, skipping their first stages and going straight to their second stages. All of them gained yellow eye irises with dark black eye sclerae, but everything else was unique to each of them. Jirōbō's mohawk grew into a long spiky mane that reached his shoulders, his skin turned into brownish-reddish color, and he had various warts all over his body — especially on his face, shoulders and forehead. Kidōmaru's skin became dark red, elongated canine teeth and fingernails, his hair grew longer and turned grey, as well as gained horns on his forehead, shoulders and elbows, his mouth became wider, and the eye on his forehead opened. Tayuya's skin became a dark shade of brown, two black vertical markings appeared under her eyes, her hair became longer, growing to her thighs, and several horns appeared on the top of her head. Sakon and Ukon's skin became red, black curved markings appeared from the corners of their eyes in an upward fashion, their fingernails became longer and sharp, their lips turned black, their mouths tore from ear to ear, they gained canine teeth and long waist-length white hair, their chins elongated, a single horn grew on opposite sides of each brother's forehead, and their hardened skin turned black and folded like scales on the opposite sides of their bodies, appearing like armor on their arms and legs. Last but not least, Kimimaro appeared like a dinosaur with dark grey skin, sharp teeth, six large bone spines protruding out of his back, a long bone-spiked tail, and two dark black curved like markings under his eyes — one under each eye and two as elongated eyebrows — one above each eye.
When the transformations were done, everyone gasped. Even Lucy was shocked.
"Odin's beard," Thor gasped.
"What the hell's going on here," Wasp questioned.
However, one was more amazed than shocked, Hank Pym, "Wow, that's just amazing…! How did you guys do that?"
"We're not obliged to tell you," Sakon replied.
Jirōbō then grabbed Ant-Man's leg while he was still giant and was able to slam him to the ground. Hulk then came in and punched Jirōbō, sending him flying into a nearby wall on the street.
"Too strong," Jirōbō muttered.
"You're strong," Hulk told him. "But Hulk strongest one there is…!"
"We'll see about that," Kidōmaru then cut up Kyodaigumo's egg sack, releasing many baby spiders.
The baby spiders then rained down on the Hulk, spinning out strings of chakra as they fell. Hulk was easily able smash some of the baby spiders, but they were so numerous that he could not smash all of them.
The baby spiders then rained down on the Avengers and their allies, spinning out strings of chakra as they fell. The heroes were able to take out some of the baby spiders, Sakura with her staff, Syaoran with his sword, Iron Man and Iron Kid with their repulsers, Hawkeye with his arrows, Wasp and Falconfly with their singers, Hulk with his fists, Black Widow with her gauntlets, Mockingbird with her staff, Captain America with his shield, and agents Venom and Mania with their symbiotes. Sadly they were so numerous that they could not take them all out. Lucy tried to help, but Kidōmaru noticed this and used his arrows to take out her horns, nullifying her vectors. Thor tried to help, but Makoto and Bruno once again got in his way.
Syaoran was able to escape, only to come face to face with the rest of the Sound Five.
"Now it's just you and me," Syaoran told them.
"You think you can stop us, boy," Sakon questioned. "Don't make us laugh."
"Don't underestimate me," Syaoran told them.
"Apparently, you won't take no for an answer," Kimimaro pulled out a bone and turned it into a sword.
Syaoran stood their with his own sword in hand, or so it seemed. Syaoran remembered his and Sakura's training with Inuyasha and his friends.
Flashback:
Syaoran and Inuyasha clashed swords with one another before pushing each other away.
"You're strong, Inuyasha," Syaoran admitted.
"What do you expect, Syaoran," Inuyasha told him. "I have more combat experience than you."
"But that doesn't mean I'm going down," Syaoran pointed out.
"Then remember what I told you," Inuyasha lectured. "The principle of the Wind Scar is to see both your opponent's aura as well as your own. You must then locate the rift where the two auras collide and cut right through it."
"Okay," Syaoran then increased his magical aura so that it hit Inuyasha.
At the same time, Inuyasha increased his demonic aura so that it hit Syaoran. The two auras collided and Syaoran watched carefully to locate the rift between them. Once he saw it, his swung his sword through that rift, unleashing a Wind Scar type attack at Inuyasha.
"WIND SCAR…!"
Inuyasha fired the Wind Scar at the attack, causing them to collide, but his attack overpowered Syaoran's, sending him flying into the cliff side behind him.
"Good work," Inuyasha told him while sheathing his sword.
"My new technique was overpowered," Syaoran pointed out.
"Of course it was," Inuyasha explained. "It's your first time using it and right now it's just an imitation of my Wind Scar. Now you have to keep on training until you can use it without needing to rely on seeing the rift between auras."
"How long will that take," Syaoran asked.
"You'll have to figure that out for yourself," Inuyasha told him. "And you should come up with a name for this new technique."
End of Flashback:
Syaoran then gather his magic into his sword and prepared to use his new technique. He then lifted his sword high and slashed down.
"THUNDER SCAR…!"
Syaoran unleashed a Wind Scar-like attack on the Sound Five. He was careful to aim the attack upwards to avoid causing collateral damage, but the attack forced the Sound Five to evade by moving in various directions.
"That was close," said Ukon.
"Perhaps," said Kimimaro. "But I believe it's time we brought this to an end. Tayuya, find one of Kinomoto's friends and take them hostage. I'll take care of this child."
"Right," Tayuya then went off.
Kimimaro jumped back into Syaoran's view. "Let's see you try that again."
"You really want to go that route," Syaoran held his sword up.
"I'm prepared to take any route," Kimimaro replied.
"THUNDER SCAR…!"
"BRACKEN DANCE…!"
Syaoran used his Thunder Scar attack again, but Kimimaro went underground.
While underground, Kimimaro produced as many as ten thousand blades of bone that sprouted from the earth. The bones intercepted the Thunder Scar and, while unable to withstand the attack, were able to distract Syaoran.
In the web, Sakura was able to get everyone out of the web by using the Erase Card to literally erase the silk. They were about to continue their fight when…
"Not so fast," Tayuya called out.
Everyone looked and saw something that scared them, Sakura most of all. There was Tayuya holding Tomoyo hostage by her hair with a kunai at her throat.
"Tomoyo," Sakura gasped.
"All of you mother fuckers let down your weapons or I'll slit her throat," Tayuya threatened.
Tomoyo was terrified as she felt the kunai's blade at her throat, knowing that Tayuya meant what she was saying.
Seeing this, Chloe and Adi finally realized what Orihime was trying to tell them earlier about Hydra. Makoto was shocked as well, but Bruno's expression remained the same.
"Let the kid go," Captain America ordered.
"You're in no position to give orders," Tayuya told him.
Before anyone could make another move, Sakura made hers. "STOP…!"
Sakura walked up to Tayuya, her cards and staff in tow. "It's me you want, not her. Let her go and I'll come with you."
There was a moment of silence.
"Very well," Tayuya agreed. "But if your friends try to stop us, she gets."
Not liking where this was going, Captain America reluctantly ordered, "Avengers, stand down. They win this round."
The Avengers then all stood down, Iron Man, Iron Kid, Thor, Wasp, and Falconfly landing while everyone else dropped their weapon, Captain America with his shield, Syaoran with his sword, Hawkeye with his bow, Venom and Mania with their guns, and Mockingbird with her staff.
"Okay, I'm ready," Sakura offered.
Kidōmaru then wrapped Sakura up in a silk cocoon and followed with Lucy, who was shocked that Sakura was willing to sacrifice herself to save her friend. But the ones who were the most shocked were Makoto, Chloe, and Adi, with the latter two realizing exactly the extent of Orihime's words. Once that was done, both were placed in a barrel that was carried by Jirōbō, having recovered from being punched by the Hulk.
"Alright, you have what you want," said Black Widow. "Now let the girl go…!"
"Very well, Black Bitch," Tayuya took her kunai away from Tomoyo's throat. "She's no longer of any use to us anyway. Catch…!"
Tayuya then threw Tomoyo to the ground. Natasha managed to catch her, but the enemy managed to get away.
"I'm so sorry, Natasha," Tomoyo told her. "This was my fault."
"If anyone's to blame, it's me," Natasha told her. "I never should have brought you into this. But at least the plan is in motion."
"What plan," Akira questioned.
"Wait a minute," Jessica realized. "You guys were hoping Sakura would get captured, weren't you?"
"Sad as it is, yes," Hawkeye agreed. "Though to be honest, it was her idea."
"But why," Akira questioned. "Why would she want to be captured?"
"Because, she wants us to follow her," Stark explained. "She knows that if we follow her, she'll lead us to Hydra's base and we'll be able to rescue everyone they've captured."
"Yeah," said Mockingbird. "And Syaoran put on a great performance."
"Who said I was performing," Syaoran pointed out. "Anyway, I think now I've made my decision. Mokona…!"
Moments later, White Mokona appeared in Syaoran's hands. "Have you made your decision, Syaoran?"
"I have," Syaoran told him. "Please, take me to Yūko."
"With pleasure," Mokona agreed before teleporting Syaoran to Yūko's shop.
"Okay, what was that about," Hawkeye questioned.
"Don't worry about him," Black Widow pointed out. "Right now, we must focus on finding Hydra's base."
"How do we do that," Wasp asked.
"I put a tracking device inside Sakura's costume," Natasha explained. "With this, we'll be able to track them anywhere."
"I hope so," Hawkeye agreed.
"I'd better inform the other Horyus about this," Tomoyo took out a cellphone-like device from her pocket and contacted the other Horyus.
Flashback:
In Ba Sing Se, Chip and Dale gave the Horyus a brand new cellphone-like device for them to communicate with one another.
"What are these things," Naruto asked.
"These are what we call Gummiphones," Chip explained. "They have the ability to communicate between worlds."
"In other words, you won't have to go straight to each other's respective home worlds just to talk to each other," Dale added.
"Thanks," said Aang. "Although, what's a phone?"
"I'll catch you up later," Sakura giggled.
Earlier while Sakura and Syaoran put on their respective battle costumes, Sakura gave Tomoyo her Gummiphone.
"Tomoyo, when those kidnappers capture me, I want you to call the Horyus and let them know about everything," Sakura told her.
"Okay," said Tomoyo. "I won't let you down."
End of Flashback:
Tomoyo contacted the Horyus.
At Yūko's shop, Syaoran had arrived.
"Welcome back, Syaoran," Yūko greeted him. "Have you made your decision yet?"
"Yes Ma'am," Syaoran nodded.
"Good to hear," said Yūko. "But first, I'll be keeping you teddy bear."
"Is that all I needed to give up," Syaoran questioned.
"For the information I gave you the last time you were here, yes," said Yūko as Syaoran reluctantly handed over his teddy bear, the very one that Sakura had made for him. "However, your fee for obtaining more power is steeper."
Syaoran swallowed, ready to hear what he had to give up.
And that was chapter 12. So yeah, the Sound Five resorted to a low-handed tactic of taking a hostage. I don't know if any of them would have ever done that in the original manga or the anime, could someone confirm that for me? Also, not only did the Future Avengers battle the Avengers, but this chapter also answers the question of what Akira might have looked like after the events of Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers. Also on a side note, Akira and Jessica briefly faced off against Makoto and Chloe and we got to Syaoran use a new technique known as the Thunder Scar, a Wind Scar-type technique.
Now as you saw at the start of this chapter, I kinda replayed Sakura's victory over Lucy, but I gave you Vanitas' perspective. In case some of you were wondering, Vanitas was the one who freed Lucy at the start of chapter 10, so I thought it would only make sense that we he would have been watching their battle. Now I'll admit I did make him seem too much like Marik in this, but that's why I brought in Deadpool, so he could make fun of it all. He even made direct references to Yugi's dual with Strings where he used Revival Jam to turn Slifer the Sky Dragon's special ability against it.
For those of you who are wondering what part Tatsuki and Keigo are going to have in this, well (spoiler alert) all I'll say is that they will be unlocking their own Fullbring abilities. I already have some ideas to what Tatsuki's Fullbring will be like thanks to my friend Airheaded Dude, but I have yet to determine what Keigo's Fullbring will be like. Last but not least, Syaoran has made his decision and is about to have his wish granted by Yūko, which hints the title of this chapter.
Now the next chapter will have Sakura and Lucy meet up with everyone Hydra has caught up until this point so get ready to see what happens when the main characters of Bleach, Kenichi The Mightiest Deciple, Fate Stay/Night, and W.I.T.C.H. come together. But first, I think I'll take a break from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and try my luck on working on story requests for my good friends Aclux and Menatron the Angel of Ideas. I think I've put them off long enough.
A.N.: Originally, I was intending to have Spider-Man appear in this chapter and have him briefly fight Kidōmaru, but I forgot to do that at the last second and you got this. But if you want to see Spider-Man face off against Kidōmaru in a future chapter, let me know because this won't be the last chapter in which that six armed ninja fights in this fanfiction.
