…Almost There…

I stare after Blaise in shock then bite back the furious screech that begs to be let loose. I stomp up to the dorm slamming the door shut. I strip and dive under my covers screaming into the multitude of pillows on my bed. I toss and turn eventually falling asleep. Meredith wakes me in the morning, and I groan. "You said his name in your sleep repeatedly." She teases. I bolt up so fast I startle her, and she falls off my bed. "Please tell me you're joking." I beg. Mere sighs and walks over to her own bed.

I know the answer before she says it. The snake bastard kept showing up in my dreams last night. No matter how many times I killed off his character or 'woke up' he was there smirking. "Get dressed. I'm hungry." Mere pouts. "If you want to see your boyfriend that bad just go. You don't have to wait for me." I roll my eyes. She takes off like a bullet and I laugh. Luna crawls onto my bed. "What exactly were you dreaming?" she wonders. I blush and push her off of my bed.

While I'm getting dressed, I wind up telling her after she nags me for 15 minutes straight. She goes ahead and I zip up my boots and tie my hair back. I look tired though I didn't actually wake up throughout the night. Blaise is outside the Great Hall smirking. I groan and know immediately from the victorious look on his face he knows about my dream last night. I try to walk past him, but he pulls me to him. "So, the baby bird is dreaming of me now. Should I irritate you more?" he whispers with that irksome smirk that I hate.

I hate what I'm about to say but I can't keep denying my true feelings. "Fine. You're on probation. I knew when I pulled you back to me as you were leaving." I kiss his cheek and head inside. "What happened?" Luna asks nervously. "I put him on a probationary status." I shrug. Mere drops her cup of juice. "No way!" Luna gasps. "It's not that big a deal." I shrug taking a waffle from Mere's plate. "I think it is a big deal." Mere points to the doorway where a dumbstruck Blaise just stumbled in. As if in in a trance he drops down at the Slytherin table.

Astoria shoots me a look and I shake my head. I hop up when I'm done eating and leave the hall with Ginny. "What'd you to Zabini?" she asks. I stop walking. "Why does everyone think I did something? I didn't do anything." I sigh. A pair of arms wrap around me. "You put me on probation." Blaise whispers. Ginny's eyes go wide and before I have a chance to explain Astoria, Luna, and Mere drag her off towards the second task.

I turn to look at Blaise. "I don't know what you're referring to." I smirk and worm out of his arms. I continue walking and he catches up easily. "You agreed to be mine. That means you admit that you like me." he takes my hand and pulls me to him. I roll my eyes but don't move away. I try to join my friends, but he pulls me with him. "Why?" I ask. "I'm a bit selfish." He smirks. "Then you are just going to have to learn to tame it." I kiss the corner of his mouth and race over to my friends while he's out of it. Astoria wriggles her eyebrows suggestively.

A blush creeps onto my face and I try to focus on the task. Mere nudges me and I look at her. She points to the stands next to us. Blaise is waving for me to come over. "I'll be right back." I mutter. I make my way through the crowd until I'm right next to him. "It's only been an hour. What do you want?" I ask. He pulls me in front of him and rests his head on my shoulder. "I'm good now." he whispers. I try and focus on the task again, but I can't. "Your heart is really racing. Is something wrong?" he whispers. I shake my head and he takes my hands.

"You're so damned stubborn baby bird." He kisses my neck softly. I allow myself a small smile. The task ends and I turn to Blaise. "Time's up." I whisper. He starts to frown and then something flickers in his eyes. "I don't think that's how this works Cassidy." He chuckles. I'm shocked once more by the use of my real name instead of the nickname. He leads me out of the stands, and we make our way up to the castle. I frown when he pulls me up the stairs instead towards the Great Hall. He pulls me into an empty classroom. "Did you need to talk to me about something?" I ask.

He sits down pulling me onto his lap. "No, I just wanted some alone time with you." He kisses me softly. I wrap my arms around him with a happy smile. "You know you're really irritating right?" I mumble. "You like me just fine even though I'm irritating." He smirks. When I meet up with my friends, I'm a bit kiss drunk. "Look who has returned! Did you have fun?" Astoria winks. I flop down too tired to come up with a funny comeback or any response for that matter. I rest my head on Mere's shoulder. "Where is the lucky guy?" Mere wonders.

"He went back to his dorm. He was more worn out than I was." I smile as Luna hands me a bowl of soup and rice. Astoria stares at me. "Hold on a second. You wore him out. Blaise Zabini. He has the best stamina out of the entire Slytherin house, and you wore him out?!" Astoria gapes. I nod reaching for some juice. She shoots me a look of admiration and I pretend to shiver. We joke around and even go outside to enjoy a bit of sunshine.

Blaise's knack for finding me becomes very clear in the first week after I agree to date him. He always waits for me to leave him a message or signal. In fact, I'm studying in the library when he kisses my cheek. "I missed you baby bird." He whispers. I smile and he examines the book I'm reading. "Studying already?" he sighs. I drag him over to an empty table and rest my head on his shoulder. "I'm not studying. Just reading for fun." I play with his hand while I read. He gives a silent gasp of horror but lets me read. After an hour he gets fidgety, and I slide from my chair to his lap. This catches him off guard and, I know it'll keep him well behaved for at least two hours.

I, however, miscalculated the time between our last hang out. Minutes later he's kissing my neck trying to get my attention. I close my book and give him a stern look. He looks away and I go back to reading. "Baby bird. Baby bird! Cassie! Cassidy." He whispers in my ear. "One more word and I tell Draco you'd love to hear the 100 reasons why he hates Harry Potter, again!" I growl. This shuts him up. I remember it fondly for it was the first time I'd seen Blaise get angry. Draco crashed our study date and went on and on for seven straight hours. I had to coax Blaise with a Hogsmeade date, so he didn't strangle Draco.

I finish my book and turn to find Blaise pouting. I may have been a bit overboard in my silencing tactics. I place my head on his shoulder. I trail kisses up his neck until he kisses me. "Better?" I ask. He shakes his head still pouting. I grab my things and check out a few books. Blaise is still pouting while, but he follows me. I stop once we're well enough away from the library. "Astoria told Draco about the stamina thing and now he won't stop teasing me." he grumbles. I bite back a laugh and hold my arms out. He walks into my arms and hugs me tight. "Aww, poor baby." I wrap my arms around him.

He picks me up and sits down on a nearby bench with me in his lap. "Here I thought I'd mastered kissing you senseless and instead you kissed me senseless. You know I didn't leave my dorm until the next morning, right?" he mumbles. I smile and pat myself on the back. Blaise growls softly. In a flash I'm under him, and he's kissing me with just as much passion as I did on the day I agreed to date him. At some point we end up in a storage closet. I let my hands roam over him. "Now, now baby bird. There's a time and a place for everything." Blaise whispers but he's panting just as hard as I am. I place my hand over his heart and smirk when I realize his heart is beating faster than mine.

I stumble out of my final exam right into Luna who's about to pass out. Mere lays on the ground a few feet away with Ginny and Astoria on top of her. Luna walks around in a daze, and I don't know how I'm going to carry them all to their dorms. I point my wand at them until they're floating and prop them up on a nearby bench then collapse in front of it. I manage to send quick flying notes to the female prefect of Ravenclaw, Draco, Seamus, and Ron. It takes them all a while to get there but I'm not surprised in the slightest when Blaise shows up with Draco.

He whispers something to the Ravenclaw prefect and picks me up. I barely have the will power to hang on. "What was your final exam?" he asks taking in my tired state. "History of Magic, then he lectured us for the better part of an hour." I yawn. Blaise carries me outside and we lie on the grounds. I rest my head on his chest and he sighs happily. He starts humming softly and I end up on top of him half asleep. I whine when he tries to wake me. I open my eyes to find him sitting up. "You said my name in your sleep. I didn't know I had to compete with myself for your attention and affection." He smirks.

I ignore his teasing and ush him back down so I can sleep. "I'm still tired!" I complain. "Don't you want to go to dinner?" he asks. "No!" I shake my head and curl up. He quickly unwraps my arms from his waist. "Well, I am so you wait right here." he pats my head and jumps up. "Where the hell would I go dumbass?! Fine, leave me out here by my damned self." I yell after him. He waves as he keeps walking. I make my way over to the side of the castle out of sight and pull my knees to my chest waiting for dinner to be done. I can hear Blaise calling my name, but I don't answer.

He finds me and kneels down. I'm pouting and acting like a brat, but I can't help it. "Did you find Cassie?" I hear Mere ask. "I found her." He calls back. "Are you ready to go baby bird?" he asks. I huff and turn away from him. He lifts me into the air carrying me down to the final task. I hit his back and complain. He sits down with me in his lap. "I'm so sorry. She ends up like this after every exam." Mere sighs. She ruffles through her pockets and pulls out some saltwater taffy mum sent this morning. I take it gratefully. "Someone didn't wake me in time for dinner." I glare at Blaise.

"Oh hell no! I did wake you." He sounds genuinely offended that the blame has landed on him. Mere stuffs some candy in my mouth. I relax and eat the candy until there's none left. "What the hell type of attitude shift was that?!" Blaise scoffs. I'm playing with his hands and frown at the tone of his voice. "You know how earlier the rest of us had just shut down and passed out once exams were done. Well Cassie is very different. When she shuts down this ruthless side to her comes out. You've experienced it before whenever she kicked or hit you. We don't know where it comes from." Mere explains.

Blaise is at a loss for words. "Normally sweets help but if not try any alcohol." Mere continues handing me a small bottle of wine no bigger than a small vial. I down it and put my head on his shoulder. "Wow, that's the first time I've actually heard you act like the older twin." Astoria teases. Mere blushes and takes the empty bottle from me. "Oh, and another thing. We have yet to find Cassie's alcohol limit. So far even the strongest alcohols have had no effect on her. It's part of the reason why she keeps using the staff and students as testers." Mere shrugs.

Blaise looks at me and I start to feel bad for hitting him earlier. He sighs and closes his eyes. "I'm sorry." I whisper in his ear. He chuckles and holds me tighter. "I did sign up for this though. It's ok baby bird." he mouths. By the time the task starts I'm feeling loads better and sit beside Blaise. I get extremely fidgety, and Blaise grabs my hands. "What's wrong?" he whispers. "Something's off. I don't think this is going to end well." I murmur. My eyes start rapid scanning the maze and Mere sighs. "What exactly is it you're looking for?" she wonders. I tilt her head and she gasps.

"Harry and Cedric grabbed the cup at the same time." She murmurs. "How on earth can you two see that?!" Seamus groans. "You just have to concentrate. It's not that hard." We say at the same time. Blaise taps my knee and I turn to look at him. He gives me a warning look and I fold my arms. "Our parents taught us to concentrate on the little details. It's around the same concentration level professional chefs in Japan use when dealing with pufferfish." Mere explains. Blaise lets his head drop. "Do you think I'd get in trouble for bring pufferfish venom to school?" Mere and I ask each other at the same time. "No pufferfish venom!" Seamus and Blaise growl at the same time.

I pout and scoot closer to Mere. I'm right it turns out. I know as soon as Harry and Cedric return. Mere starts to shake. "Seamus. Seamus! Get Mere out of here right now." I choke the words out. He leads Mere out of the stands, and I feel Blaise's hand on mine. I get as close to him as I can. "Time to go baby bird." he gets up following Seamus. I cling to his arm desperate to get away from the shocked screams and wailing. I can't go back to my dorm, so we walk around for a while. "Are you feeling a bit better now?" Blaise asks.

We've been walking up and down the same hall for a while now. Something catches my eye. A door I've never seen before appears and I drag Blaise inside. The inside takes my breath away. There's a bed, a fire, a place to shower, warm towels, and fresh clothes. Blaise is stumped. I pull the partition that blocks the shower and strip taking a shower. I wrap myself in a towel. Blaise is still standing where I left him, but he looks away when I reappear with the towel around me. "You should shower too." I point to the shower. He heads in that direction without looking at me.

I shake my head and start to dry my hair. When Blaise steps out I'm by the fire putting lotion on. He jumps in turn startling me. "Is something wrong?" I ask. A series of unintelligible sounds leave his mouth as he waves around and at me. I tilt my head in confusion. "Do you not realize…" he trails of groaning in frustration. I get up walking over to him slowly. "I can't understand you when you're flustered." I place my hands on his face. He relaxes a smidge and looks me up and down. "I'm a teenage boy with raging hormones I can barely control when you're kissing me. Coming out of the shower in a towel and the way you were putting on lotion is not helping." He hisses through gritted teeth.

I bite back a laugh. I wrap my arms around him. "You're not going to do anything or hurt me." I state confidently. A look flashes in his eyes and he picks me up throwing me onto the bed. He climbs on top of me kissing me. We break apart panting and he rolls off of me. "See! I told you, you're not going to hurt me." I scoff. "You conveniently missed the part before that." He laughs. I roll on top of him. "I don't remember. I do know one thing. I need you, so why don't you remind me." I smirk leaning down to kiss him. He sits up without breaking the kiss and presses me to his chest. I wind up back underneath him.

"Are you sure about this?" Blaise asks. I nod pulling him into another kiss. His hands travel slowly down my frame. I roll the tank top I was wearing off as he inches my shorts off. He kisses a trail up my leg stopping just short of the place where I need him. I let out a whine of frustration and he chuckles. His tongue dips inside me and I gasp. He has to hold my hips down and I grip the sheets. With a final tongue thrust my vision goes fuzzy. I pant heavily as he trails kisses up my body. His lips find mine and I run my fingers across his shoulders.

He stops and looks at me with a worried expression. "I trust you." I whisper. He kisses me again but this time to distract from the pain. He peppers my face with kisses until the pain passes. I kiss him to signal I'm ok. The more he moves the better I feel. I trail kisses on his neck making him groan. He lifts my hips and hits something that makes me gasp. I nip his neck as he continues to hit the spot. My nails rake down his back, but he doesn't let up. Instead, he picks up the speed. I cry out in pleasure leaving obvious marks on his back and neck. I feel like I'm going to burst. I wrap my arms around him our chests brushing each other with every thrust and breath.

I start to move my hips with his and he groans. His thrusts are getting sloppier, and my vision is getting fuzzier. White spots dance across my eyes and I gasp. Blaise kisses me desperately. When I'm calmer he trails kisses down to my neck. I gasp as the white spots return and Blaise groans. We lay there a sweaty mess. I kiss him softly and rub his arms and shoulders. Blaise slowly catches his breath and I cover us in the sheets and blankets that fell to the floor. Blaise rests his head on my chest. "I love you, Cassidy." He whispers as he falls asleep. I freeze and take in what he just said. My heart mind are racing a mile a minute but in his arms I quickly fall asleep.

I wake first and watch him sleep. He starts to stir and looks up at me with a smile. "Morning baby bird." He mumbles kissing my neck. I smile and kiss his cheek. Blaise taps my side lost in thought. "Did I say something as I fell asleep last night?" he wonders. I smirk and slide out from under him. "Not telling. Figure it out yourself." I laugh and head to the shower. When I'm done, he's still lying on the bed staring up at the ceiling. I crawl onto the bed and sit on his lap. "Did you figure it out yet?" I tease. He sits up kissing me passionately.

"I love you. I love you. I love you baby bird. I love you, Cassie. I love you, Cassidy. I am so very much in love with you." He mumbles in between kisses. I giggle and put my hands on his shoulders. "I know." I smirk sliding off his lap. With a groan he falls back onto the bed. I slip into the fresh and clean uniform available while he rolls around on the bed groaning. "I'm leaving. Are you going to stay in that bed all day?" I ask. A single groan is the only answer I get. I walk over and kiss his cheek before leaving.

Everyone is still out of it, so no one notices me slip back in. I change and crawl into bed falling back asleep. When I wake, I take Mere to the Hospital wing since she still isn't up to par. I yawn tiredly as Madam Pomfrey checks her out. "You seem to have a bit more mental toughness than your sister." Madam Pomfrey notes. She keeps her voice quiet enough so as not to wake Harry or the big black dog that now accompanies him in the bed next to us though I get the feeling they're both pretending to be asleep.

"Cassie witnessed a lot of accidents when we were younger. Even though I'm older and all she always shielded me from it or sent me home because she could sense something bad was going to happen. Last night she sensed something bad was going to happen just by looking at the maze and when we saw Harry and Cedric touch the cup at the same time, I knew she was right." Mere sighs as she stares at the funny concoction Madam Pomfrey has handed her. I sit by her bed and stare at her until she drinks it. "You know I'm older than you, right?" Mere frowns. "I know, but you don't act like it." I smile teasingly. Mere pouts and folds her arms. The door opens and Draco and Blaise walk in carrying a rather sick looking Theodore between them.

Madam Pomfrey hurries to help them and Mere turns to me. "By the way, where did you go last night?" she asks. I swear the dog's ears prick up and its nose sniffs the air. "I just went for a walk. Why?" I ask. "Nothing, it's just you didn't return to the dorm until this morning." Mere sniffles. I crawl into the bed with her before she starts crying. "You're a real handful you know that, right?" I sigh. Mere wraps her arms around me and soon is fast asleep. I tsk while trying to get out of the death grip she has on me. Luckily Seamus pops in to visit Harry and when they're done talking, I have Seamus take my place. I yawn and stretch happy to be able to move around.

"Cassie?" Harry mumbles. I blink taken aback by him calling me. "Yes?" I sit down by his bed. "Can I really come by your family's restaurant?" he asks. I burst out laughing. "Of course, you can. Why did you have to ask with such a serious face. I thought you were going to ask something heavy." I run my fingers through my hair. Harry looks down at his hands and I frown. "You saw something last night that most people for the life of them won't or never will be able to fully understand." I mumble. Harry looks at me in shock. "If it wasn't you Mr. I stopped Voldemort, I would be worried about your mental state, but you've been at this for years. Nothing I can say will help you at this point. Just remember you have friends who are there for you no matter what." I pinch his cheek.

Harry stares at me and I get up. "Get better soon. All three of you." I smirk at dog. I skip out of the wing. I hear footsteps following me and stop where I stand. "You finally got out of bed." I whisper as Blaise wraps his arms around me. "I said I love you earlier and you just left. What the hell baby bird. I meant it. I meant every word. That was mean." He frowns. I turn to him with a smile. "Whatever do you mean? I took a night long walk all by myself last night." I tsk. Blaise starts to get upset but hears the footsteps approaching too.

"Wha the devil are you on about Blaise? Are you coming back to the common room or are you going continue talking to your girlfriend?" Draco sneers. "You weren't held or loved enough as a child and now you're taking it out on everyone else. You're also afraid of your father but you want his approval, and you'll do anything to get it. He used to hit you a lot, didn't he?" I frown at him. Draco growls and starts towards me but Blaise steps in front of me. "Sorry, she's still out of it from exams and everything. I'll be back in a few minutes." He sounds slightly bored, but he doesn't move out of Draco's way. Draco gives him a measured look then storms off.

"That was a dangerous move baby bird. Don't ever do that again." he orders. I wrap my arms around his waist. "But it's true though." I murmur. Blaise turns around and pulls me to his chest. "I don't give a damn. What did I just say?" he growls. I shake my head and sigh. "I have to go. It's almost the end of term and I need to pack." I try to worm out of his grip. "Why are you so damned stubborn?" Blaise groans. I stop squirming and look at him.

"I need to go pack. Find me first thing tomorrow morning, ok?" I kiss him and hurry up to my dorm. I pack Meredith's stuff first since she isn't up to much. Luna helps gathering the Mere's books, quills, and ink bottles. When I'm done, I start on my things while Luna packs. We don't talk much, and I know she would say something if she was truly worried. I sit on my trunk and stare at the ceiling. There's a knock on the door. The prefect walks in and points at me. "You have a visitor." She states. I shudder and she frowns. "You sound like a guard or police officer when you talk like that." I shudder again.

She points to the stairs, and I hop to my feet. "Dumbledore is waiting for you outside." She whispers as I pass. This makes me freeze. I turn robotically and walk myself back to my dorm. She drags me back out and stops at the stairs. "You're not in trouble." She gives me a gentle nudge. I grumble but make my way outside all the same. Dumbledore and Flitwick are waiting. They wave for me to follow so I do. We end up at the Hospital Wing. I walk inside with them and am shocked to find McGonagall, Lupin and Snape there as well. Theodore is long gone but Seamus looks rather shaken as he stares at the dog, no, where the dog was there's now a man.

I scan the room. "Come on Cassie. We were waiting on you." Mere waves me over. I sit beside her bed. Seamus is still gawking at the man on Harry's bed. "Now that everyone is here an explanation can begin." Dumbledore clasps his hands together. "I'll start." The man on Harry's bed stands up. "Hello Cassidy. I'm Sirius Black, Harry's godfather. I thought what you told him earlier was excellent though how you knew Harry and I were faking being asleep when you brought Mere in escapes me. I met your sister last year I do believe." He holds out a hand and I shake it.

"Hmm, let me guess. Wrongfully accused of a crime you didn't commit and thrown into prison without a trial despite your pureblood status. Your parents paid more attention to your younger brother when you were growing up because everyone, even you, realized you were different and had opposing views. You've been a rebel all your life and from the looks of you, you were just as much of a troublemaker as Harry's father who by the look in your eyes was one of your best friends. You caused the teachers here trouble galore while you were a student even though you're extremely smart. Hell, you'd have to be you're an Animagus. From the looks of it you probably completed the entire process before your seventh year. Which makes you a badass troublemaker." I look him up and down.

The room is deathly quiet. "You were probably the reasonable one in the group that kept Sirius and Harry's father in check when you weren't wolfing out." I turn to Lupin. He opens his mouth, but I cut him off. "That makes you the victim of Sirius' pranks. Let me guess, one of them nearly cost you your life and a friend?" I turn to Snape. The color floods from his face and his frown deepens. "You still haven't moved on from your first love despite everything you've been through. Also, you look just like the description of the man who brought me and Meredith to the orphanage." I smile.

Everyone turns to Snape. "I wasn't sure until I saw you going after that fake professor. He smelled… he smelled like…" I snap my fingers at a loss for words. "Like one of those rotting sharks that they use for hakarl. That Durmstrang headmaster had the same smell." Mere gasps. "Exactly right. Really shady but when he turned Draco into a ferret it was pretty hilarious." I laugh. "Hold on a minute! Are you saying Severus matches the identity of the man that took you two to the orphanage?" Harry chokes out. "Harry, we've talked about this. You need to actually make sure your thoughts are on board your train of thought before you speak." I put a hand on his shoulder.

"She's right Harry. You should listen and not speak. Well at least until you can look like your mind isn't travelling at warp speed." Mere frowns. "It's true. I took you from your old house to the orphanage. I was and still am doing what your mother wanted me to do." Snape eyes both of us carefully. "That was quite the assessment miss Evans." Dumbledore smiles. "Assessment my ass. That felt more like an extremely personal attack." Sirius pouts. I shoot him a measured look. "You're the one that was talking to Hermione's cat last year, weren't you?" I put my hands on my hips. Sirius stands up putting his hands on his hips. "Excuse me, but I don't care much for these little assessments of yours. Yes, everything you said was correct and I was the one you saw talking to Hermione's cat. Wait, why the hell am I explaining myself and arguing with a child?" he directs the last part at Lupin.

Lupin puts his hands up in a surrender motion. "Probably because you were locked in prison before your mind had a chance to finish developing thus causing you to be locked into the mindset of whatever age you were locked up at even though your body continued to age. Harry you still have the name of the restaurant where my parents work right?" I ask. Harry nods. "You, you, and you.", I point to Sirius, Lupin, and Snape, "You all should come. Me and Meredith will cook you up something tasty to help revitalize you. Dumbledore and McGonagall can be your chaperones since by the way you guys look at each other you can barely go five minutes without fighting and I'm being very generous by giving you guys those five minutes." I shrug.

Sirius glares at the floor. "And how do you suppose we'd get Black to the restaurant unseen? He is still technically a criminal." McGonagall smiles. "Well, Polyjuice potion of course, right professor Snape." I clap my hands giddily. "That settles that. Now about this final task the twins mother gave you. I've had my theories for a while now. Do tell us." Dumbledore takes the seat that I've abandoned opting to walk around while talking. Snape stares at Harry. "James and Lily Potter are their parents. Lily told me to take them to that orphanage. She felt it was better than having all three of them stay with her sister." He confesses.

"Holy shit I did not see that coming." Mere murmurs. "Language! We're still at school." I tsk. Seamus looks to be on the verge of passing out and Harry doesn't look far behind. I turn and look at the door. "Is something wrong Cassie? Is it Mr. on and off again?" Mere smirks. "No, not really. He's probably looking for me right now. I'll be right back." I shrug. "I knew you could sense him." Mere giggles teasingly. I stick my tongue out at her before exiting the wing. I find Blaise not too far from the wing pacing. "Aww, what's wrong?" I ask. He turns and pulls me into his arms. "Geez, you're freaking me out. Say something." I whisper.

"I just missed you. Everyone was talking about that fake teacher, and I know you said you wanted to meet up tomorrow, but I couldn't wait any longer…" I cut him off with a kiss. He relaxes and kisses the top of my head. "You'll never do anything to hurt me right?" I ask. Blaise scoffs and looks at me with a semi hurt expression. "Of course not. I could never, would never, you know that." He whispers the pain evident in his voice. "Relax, I was just in the middle of finding out who my parents were. Come on, it's time or you to meet my brother." I put my hands on his face and give another kiss to calm him.

"Your brother?" he repeats in confusion. I take his hand in mine and lead him back to the Hospital Wing. Lupin and Sirius' eyebrows shoot up so fast that I have to bite back a laugh. "You were not kidding." Harry mutters in shock when he sees my hand in Blaise's. "Now, you sit here and behave for a while." I nod to a free chair. Seamus catches him up while I talk to Mere. "Fucking hell!" I hear Blaise whisper. His eyes dart from me to Meredith to Harry. "How is it that we end up dating twins who just happen to be related to the one who stopped He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named?" Seamus looks wide eyed at the floor. I shoot them a look and they go silent.

"Now, Harry, since we're related if you ever feel irritated or need to cool off just tell your, sorry, our aunt to send you over. We can even make something 'special' for Dudley." I wink making Harry smile. "You also missed Cassie's assessment earlier." Mere giggles. "I saw her read Draco like an open book earlier. Scary accurate by the way. How'd you sense his father use to hit him?" Blaise asks suddenly. "Ah, I think back in my first year I saw a Slytherin bring up Draco's father. It was just barely there in his eyes. The fear of being hit by someone who was supposed to love you. I see it in the eyes of some of the new kids that get brought into the orphanage. Me and Mere volunteer whenever we can." I sigh.

"I know. Cassidy got into serious trouble after she learned one of the kids was being beaten at home." Mere shakes her head. "And she called me out." Sirius pouts. "One of the kid's parents was beating him senseless for something he couldn't help. Whenever his mother tried to intervene his father knocked her unconscious and locked her in the basement. I merely went to go get her since the cops didn't know where she was being kept. It's not my fault I punched his dad." I cross my arms and stare stubbornly at the ceiling. "You really need to work on right and wrong senses." Mere laughs.

Once everything is sorted the teachers leave and Harry turns to look at Seamus and Blaise. "So, it turns out you two are dating my sisters. Isn't that crazy." Harry shifts so he's facing them. Seamus can't meet Harry's eyes, but Blaise just watches me. "I'm guessing I just have to accept this, right?" Harry sighs. Mere nods and Harry leans back on his bed. "I've said so much in front of him." Seamus mutters looking terrified. I nod at the door. "Mere, I've already packed for you so you can just stay here until you feel better. I'll see you guys tomorrow." I grab Blaise's hand and pull him from the wing.

Blaise collapses onto a bench a few corridors away. "I was scared out of my mind." He gasps. I sit on my heels and poke his face. "It was not that bad." I try to get him to sit up. "I feel like he knows something happened between us last night." Blaise groans. "I don't know what you're referring to. I was walking around by myself last night until early this morning." I huff. He eyes me carefully and sits up. "Can I know the name of your parents' restaurant?" he asks. I smile sweetly as I climb onto his lap. "No. You always find me. Regardless of if I tell you to or not. I get the feeling that even if it's not your intention that you'll still wind up there." I lean in close to him, so we don't have to speak that loudly.

"Please Cassie?!" he begs. "Nope. Do you want to know why?" I whisper. "Why?" he pouts. "I know one of your relatives. She's a regular, but I'm not going to tell you who!" I tease in a sing song voice. I give his lips a quick peck then hop off his lap and take off skipping down the hall. Blaise chases after me scooping me up. "Which relative is it? Please tell me." he whispers. I wrap my legs around him. "I'm not telling. Having you find out yourself will be much more entertaining." I place my head at the crook of his neck.

I hop onto the train and follow Blaise to a compartment. His clingy side has slowly been going away and he's reverting back to his normal self. He pulls me onto his lap. I only agree because I know as soon as the train reaches London, I probably won't see him for a week or two depending on when his family member stops by. "Could you at least write to me every day?" he mumbles. "I don't have an owl silly. You'll just have to be patient." I whisper. He groans tilting his back. "If you're going to pout the entire time I'm leaving." I sigh and pretend to get up. Blaise pins me under him and growls. "I'm not pouting. I just don't want to go an entire summer without seeing you." He complains.

My heart starts doing tiny backflips and I shake my head to clear it. I lie there with him mumbling to himself. Someone doubles back outside, and I wave at Harry. Seamus, Dean, and Ron drag him down the train. "Shit! Am I in trouble?" Blaise wonders. I laugh and look out the window. "We weren't doing anything wrong." I sigh heavily. Blaise rolls to the side pulling me to his chest.

I grab my things as the train pulls into the station. If Blaise wasn't pouting before he sure is now. I sigh and start pouting too. "How am I supposed to leave if you're pouting like this?" I stomp my foot for good measure. He looks at the floor refusing to meet my eyes. I tilt his head up and kiss him. "I love you too idiot." I mumble against his lips. I hurry from the train before he can stop me. Harry is standing with our aunt and uncle while they talk to my parents. Dumbledore sent them both letters explaining everything.

Me and Mere will be staying with our adopted parents, but our aunt and uncle will be stopping by at least once a week with Harry for some 'bonding'. Harry still looks upset about earlier and I don't want to go back to Blaise because I know he won't let me go. I opt for saying bye to my friends. Ginny was the most shocked while Luna and Astoria had some inkling. I hug Ginny and tell her to send word if she needs help with homework or anything. "Why? I have a den full of big brothers who know the answers. Besides, we're both top of are class." Ginny rolls her eyes but she's smiling.

Harry starts motioning for me to come over and I groan. I feel Blaise watching me and close my eyes. "One telling you you're in trouble while the other tells you I need you." Luna giggles. I open my eyes and see a smug Blaise a little ways down the platform. "You can't take it back. I heard you say it." he mouths, and I blush. "Ooh, what happened there?!" Astoria grins. "Nothing. Nothing happened. I'll see you guys after the summer." I roll my eyes and make my way through the crowd. Harry walks me and Meredith through the barrier. "Did you say goodbye to Seamus?" I ask Mere. She nods sadly at the ground. "You call that saying goodbye!" Harry is livid.

I thought I was the only one in trouble. Harry puts our things in our parents' trunk and points for us to get in. I smack my lips but get in the car. He gets in the Dursley's car but watches us until our parents get in. "Did you guys do something to Harry?" mum asks. "No!" we say at the same time, but it doesn't sound convincing in the slightest. We watch the Dursley's pull off with Harry then leave.

Elizabeth is overjoyed to see us, and I spend the rest of the day playing with her. Mum sits down beside me as I start my summer homework. "Vanessa told me about what happened first term after you left." she tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. "I remember telling her at Christmas." I mutter. I'd expected her not to blab but I guess I should have truly voiced that part instead of assuming. "She's dating him now." Meredith giggles from where her and dad are cooking dinner. I glare at her, and mum smacks my leg. I end up telling them everything except for what happened after the third task. I feel that, that memory is private and shouldn't be shared.

Dad is in such a state of shock he nearly burns the salmon he's cooking. "I can't believe you lost control and didn't tell us. And to top it off you took it out on someone who cares about you." Mum gasps. "To be honest I just thought he was a masochist." I mutter. Mum slaps my shoulder. "Well, I suppose we can't ask for too much. I guess I'm just happy he accepts you with the shutdowns and all." Dad sighs. "He's irritating as hell." I grumble. "She likes him just fine. Even the past few weeks when he got truly clingy. She complains but always with a smile." Mere sighs.

"Oh please! That was irritating too. Oh, woe is me." I put my head on the table. "You are such a dramatic and stubborn brat." Mum pinches my cheek. "I wonder where I got it from." I wink at her. She rolls her eyes and pouts. "Brandon, you deal with Cassidy. I can't right now. I just can't!" she throws her hands in the air and crosses to the opposite side of the room.
