from Lawless about the tragedy, and realizes that Tsubaki is entirely wrong about what he was supposed to do with his strength. She looks at him with a compassionate face, and says.
"I wanted to know more about the father of the Servamps so I went through all your memories of him
on my way here. From that, and what I learned of this tragedy from Lawless I know that you are
completely wrong about what your teacher made you to do. Your teacher knew that C3 wanted him dead so he made one more Servamp with the power to either kill or protect his siblings that way there would be someone there to protect the family that he loved when C3 came for them too." Tohru
Tsubaki falls to his knees as the truth of Tohru's words fills him with sorrow over what he has done to the ones he was created to protect. He begins to weep, and says.
"What have I done? What have I done!" Tsubaki
Tohru runs to comfort him, and Tsubaki clings to her as the bitter tears pour down his face. When his tears have stopped flowing Tsubaki takes the sunglasses off his face, and says.
"I am Tsubaki no more the contract attached to that name ended with the death of my father. I Who's Coming of Melancholy will do all that I can to live up to my responsibilities, and do all I can to make up for all the horrible things I have done to my family." Who's Coming
Who's Coming transforms, and curls up in Tohru's arms seeking all the comfort that she can give him. Kuro stomps on the glasses pulling them out of his mind. When everything is normal again Kuro sees Tohru standing there with his brother nestled in her arms. Kuro is happy that they will now be able to move past their problems, and be a real family from now on.
Licht and Hyde and Misono and Lilly are waiting for Tohru to come out of that crumbling building. Misono sees them first, and says.
"Tohru!" Misono
Licht runs up to her, and hugs her as if he thought he would never see her again. When he lets go he sees Who's Coming perched on her shoulder, and Kuro asleep on her head. Tohru waves to Misono, and the two of them head out hand in hand with smiles on their faces. It takes a while, but life gets back to normal for the Eve's and their Servamps. C3 puts Belkia, Shamrock, and Higan into prison for the crimes they have committed. Kuro and Tohru are walking down the street when Kuro hears a meow in the alley. In the alley he finds a white cat. Tohru finds him in the alley thinking. She grins at him, and says.
"Hey how about I buy you some of that ramen you like for dinner tonight? You can share it with your new feline friend." Tohru
"What are you grinning about? I can't face you like this." Kuro
A couple of days later, and it's the weekend meaning that Tohru is the one who gets to pick what her and Licht do on their date. Tohru decides that she will invite him to stay with her for the weekend. She is a little nervous about what he will think, but she has a feeling that everything will be just fine. Tohru puts Kuro on her head, makes sure her wallet is in her pocket, and heads out to shop for the things she needs to make dinner since her stores have run out. When Tohru has finished her shopping she gets out her phone, and calls Licht. After a few rings he answers the call saying.
"Hello Tohru." Licht
"Hello Jekyll." Tohru
"So what have you been up to so far today?" Licht
"Well Kuro and I had breakfast, and then I went grocery shopping. While I was getting ready to go I figured out what we should do for our date this weekend." Tohru
"Ok, so what are we doing?" Licht
"I figured that you could stay with me for the weekend, and that's about as far as I got with the planning." Tohru
Licht chuckles at her half thought out plan, but thinks that it would be nice to know where Tohru is living. Licht gets his chuckling under control, and says.
"Sure give me your address, and I'll meet you there." Licht
"Actually Jekyll why don't you meet me outside the convenience store, and we'll walk there together instead?" Tohru
Licht thinks that response is a little odd, but says.
"Ok which store are you at?" Licht
"I'm walking out of 24 hour Market." Tohru
"I'm not far from there. I'll be there in five minutes." Licht
"I'll be waiting. See you when you get here Jekyll." Tohru
"See you then, bye Tohru." Licht
"Bye Jekyll." Tohru
The call ends, Tohru sets her shopping bags down, leans against the wall, and waits for Jekyll to arrive. Licht is walking down the street when he sees the store come into view. As he walks up to the store he sees Tohru leaning against the wall with a large amount of grocery bags at her feet. Licht walks up to her, and says.
"Why don't I carry some of those bags for you?" Licht
Tohru looks at him with a smile, and says.
"Sure, why don't you take half, and I'll take the other half." Tohru
Licht nods, and takes the specified number of shopping bags. Tohru takes rest of the bags, and they begin walking to Tohru's home. Licht gets more, and more curious the farther they get into the woods. They arrive at their destination, and Licht sweat drops at the sight of the tent. They put the groceries in the bear proof bin. Licht inspects the tent to see if there will be enough room for him, or if he will have to sleep outside. To his great relief the bed has been made so that there will be enough room for both of them, and even has a sufficiently thick foam mattress to be comfortable. Hyde also looks around the tent, and even goes so far as to try making himself comfortable in Kuro's cat bed. Kuro sees this, and won't have any of it. Moments later Hyde goes flying out the door of the tent. Hyde mopes off to curl up next to the fire pit, and hears the saint say.
"Next time try asking Kuro if you can take a nap in his bed instead of just barging in." Tohru
Hyde's cheeks turn red, and he says.
"That's a good idea I'll try it next time." Hyde
Tohru smiles, and goes back to what she was doing.
After Tohru finishes the last of her home work her and Licht go for a hike. When they stop for lunch he sees a beautiful view that makes him want to play along with the singing birds. So Licht summons his piano, and plays perfectly in sync with the birds in the trees. As soon as Tohru finishes laying out their picnic she sits back, and listens to the symphony of sweet music all around her. When he stops playing Licht looks over at Tohru, and sees the happy and content look on her face. He can tell exactly how much she enjoys listening to him play. Licht's piano disappears, and he sits down on the blanket next to Tohru. She feels him take her hand, and opens her eyes smiling at him happy to be spending time with the man she loves. When the moment ends Tohru serves their lunch, and they dig into their lunch. On the walk back Tohru kisses Licht on the cheek, and hugs him. Licht returns the favour, and they continue walking back to the tent. When they get there they see Kuro and Hyde having a serious discussion. They catch the end of it, and find that they were discussing who gets to sleep in the cat bed, and who sleeps by the fire. They decided that Hyde would only get to sleep in the cat bed if it started raining, and if that happened Kuro would sleep on Tohru's pillow. Tohru and Licht's sleeping arrangements had already been decided as soon as he saw inside the tent. As soon as the sun goes down every one goes to bed for the night. The next morning Licht woke to find Tohru sleeping peacefully in his arms. Licht smiles and thinks that he could get used to waking up like this every morning. He knows that the weekend will end, and things will go back to the way they were before. As he is thinking this Tohru wakes up, and smiles at him. Like he has done many times Licht wonders how he was able to live without Tohru in his life for so long.
Licht and Lawless watch as Tohru makes a delicious smelling breakfast over the campfire. As soon as the meal is served everyone digs in, and two of those present are pleasantly surprised by how delicious Tohru's cooking is. Licht and Tohru go for another hike only this time they bring their pets with them. Tohru convinced Licht that this would be a good way to get them to work out their problems while also making sure they don't beat each other until they are black and blue in the process. Licht told her that their relationship is better than that, and Tohru relented to only bring them as far as the spot where they had a picnic the previous day. After they get there the love birds go off on their own while being mindful of the distance limit. Tohru shows Licht all of her favourite spots to go when she has no homework or on her days off work. After that Licht is the one who gets to pick what they do for the rest of the day. Licht spends half of the time climbing trees, and the other half playing the piano for Tohru. At the end of the last song they go to collect their pets, and find them discussing something very important. Licht and Tohru look at each other with grins on their faces, and walk right past Kuro and Hyde pretending that they never even saw them.
Back at camp Tohru is making dinner when Kuro and Hyde walk into camp glaring at their Eve's for deliberately leaving them behind. Licht and Tohru laugh at the response they got from their joke. Over dinner Tohru looks to Licht, and says.
"Since tomorrow is your last day here I thought we could do something that I have never done before, but always wanted to try." Tohru
"What did you have in mind?" Licht
"There is a really beautiful river near by, and I thought it would be fun if we went fishing." Tohru
"That would be fun if we had a boat, which we don't so we'll have to come up with something else." Licht
Tohru smiles at him, rolls up her sleeve, and summons her weapon. As soon as her broom is in her hand it changes shape like it did before. Hovering before them is fishing boat that would make the most seasoned fisherman jealous. Licht looks impressed with her handling of her weapon, and says.
"How did you manage to do that with a broom?" Licht
"I used my imagination." Tohru
Licht smiles at that, and goes back to eating his dinner while Tohru puts her weapon away.
After sunset Kuro and Lawless are talking about their problems, and they manage to make a good start on mending their relationship. They both know that it is probably all of the progress they are going to be able to make on this trip. The two of them wonder if their baby brother is staying out of trouble, and what it will be like when they see him again. Both of them are aware that All of Love hasn't forgiven him for murdering his subclasses yet, and that the two of them are still mad at them for sparing Who's Coming instead of breaking him for what he has done. They also know that he will forgive them eventually. They just hope that it will be long before their names change. Kuro knows that it is tearing Tohru apart having Misono angry with her for healing Who's Coming. He has heard her crying herself to sleep on many an occasion. It may take awhile Kuro is confident that she will be forgiven soon. While he is thinking this he hears Tohru's text alert go off. When she reads the text Tohru gets the sunniest smile he has ever seen on her face. Tohru looks at Kuro then Licht, and says.
"Misono just texted me saying that while he has not forgiven Who's coming for what he did to Lilly's subclasses that he can't stay mad at me for doing what comes naturally for a saint." Tohru
Kuro and Lawless curl up in Tohru's lap to congratulate her for making up with her friend.
The next morning Licht and Tohru leave for their last romantic outing of the weekend. They only get to fish on the calm sections of the river. Licht is happy that they went with Tohru's suggestion of river boating as their activity for the last day of the trip. Licht knows that Tohru's life isn't normally as fun as this weekend has been. Licht is considering asking Tohru to come, and live with him. He will have to talk to Hyde about it when they get back. Licht looks over, and sees that Tohru has caught a large fish that is definitely not a salmon. He helps her get the fish in the boat, and then they take the fishhook out of the fishes mouth, and put it in a bucket of cold water. A little bit further down the river Licht is the one that catches a fish, and he gets it into the boat all by himself as Tohru watches with a happy smile on her face. As soon as they have the fish in the bucket Tohru congratulates Licht on catching such a large fish. They pull their lines in when they reach a particularly rough portion of the river. When the river is calm again Licht decides that they should get back before they exceed the maximum distance that they can be away from their Servamps.
When they get back to camp they see their worried Servamps glaring at them for going so far that they almost broke the distance limit. After the two of them have calmed down their pets Licht takes Hyde off to the side, and says.
"Hyde there is something I would like your opinion on." Licht
"What's on your mind angel?" Hyde
"I am thinking about asking Tohru to come, and live with me." Licht
Hyde thinks about this idea, and immediately gets a feeling that Tohru will miss out on something very good for her if Licht goes ahead with his plan. Lawless shakes his head, and says.
"No Licht that is a bad idea." Hyde
"Why not hedgehog? You see how she is living. Why shouldn't I help her when I've seen how hard her life is?" Licht
"Because I have feeling that if you do the saint will miss out on something that will be very good for her." Hyde
Licht thinks about his Servamps advice, and sighs in defeat. Licht looks at Lawless, and says.
"Fine, but this had better be worth it." Licht
Lawless nods, and the two of them head back to camp like their conversation never happened.
Tohru and Kuro are discussing what they are going to do with the fish that she caught saying.
"I think that you should use at least some of it to make sauce to put on ramen." Kuro
"I think that it would be better to fillet the fish, and each of us can have half." Tohru
"What a boring way to serve fish. My idea is so much better." Kuro
"Maybe, but my idea is definitely the fairest of the two ideas." Tohru
Tohru thinks about what has been discussed, and comes up with an idea that will make everybody happy saying.
"Why don't we halve the fish like I said, and then I make the halves into rice balls?" Tohru
"Tohru. What's a rice ball?" Kuro
"You've never had rice balls. Well that settles it we are going with the compromise." Tohru
Kuro nods, and goes to take a nap on his cat bed while Tohru makes dinner. It has already been decided that Licht will take his fish home with him when he leaves; So all that really needed to be decided was what to do with the remaining fish. Tohru hopes that everybody likes the trout flavoured rice balls they are going to be having for dinner. Tohru goes through her shopping to see what side dishes she can make to go along with the rice balls. Tohru finishes dinner, and calls her guests over to eat. While they are eating Licht looks at Tohru, and says.
"I had fun this weekend thanks for suggesting it Tohru." Licht
"Yeah. Thank you, because of this weekend camping trip big brother and I were able to work through some more of our problems." Hyde
"You're very welcome Hyde." Tohru
"It has been fun having you guys as our guests except when you tried to help yourself to my bed Hyde." Kuro
Everyone starts laughing at Hyde much to his great embarrassment. This only makes them laugh even harder. Hyde supposes that being laughed at is better than being on the receiving end of one of Licht's kicks. Licht guesses that if Tohru is happy where she is living than he's fine with it too. Tohru is glad that she has been able to enjoy this time with her boyfriend. It makes her happy to be able to give Jekyll a chance to relax from his usually hectic schedule. Tohru hopes that Mr. Kranz won't be to mad at her for monopolizing so much of Jekyll's time, but she is his girlfriend so Tohru figures that it is within her rights to have him all to herself every once in awhile. Licht is glad that he had the for thought to tell his
