"Of course the real crisis is we won't be able to cook any dinner while the kitchens wrecked. I guess we're just going to have to grit out teeth, and order takeout. Ugh, and I was so looking forward to another of Tohru's home cooked meals." Shigurae
"So where did the other homewrecker go?" Yuki
"He's still busy sulking I think. We'd probably do well to keep our distance for awhile." Shigurae
They have their take out dinners, and Shigurae says.
"I'm going to burst Ah full, full, full." Shigurae
"You Miss Honda?" Yuki
"I couldn't eat another bite, but what about Kagura and Kyo? We shouldn't let their dinners get cold." Tohru
"Ah so lets see am I brave enough to go look for Kyo just yet? Um no, but I think I can chance the kitchen." Shigurae
Shigurae goes into the kitchen, sees Kagura still cleaning, and says.
"Kagura you know we ordered you some dinner. I'm pretty sure it'll taste better while it's hot." Shigurae
"Hm thanks, but I'll eat later. You can just leave it out there for now. How's Kyo is he still angry?" Kagura
"Your guess is as good as mine. He still hasn't come down from hiding." Shigurae
"Your angry at me too aren't you?" Kagura
"No I wouldn't say that. I'm not angry of course I can't say I want to repeat this little incident." Shigurae
"Shigurae please let me stay here too? I don't think I can leave knowing Kyo's living in this house with another woman." Kagura
"Woman? Ah we're talking about Tohru now. Didn't Kuro explain that she isn't a threat to you?" Shigurae
"No I can't wait that long. I have to force Kyo to make up his mind tonight." Kagura
"That's not a good idea." Shigurae
"You don't know. You don't understand how a woman feels when she's in love." Kagura
"Yes I do at least I've felt enough women to venture a guess. Sorry that's your cue to say Shigurae you perv roll your eyes slap me what ever." Shigurae
Kagura starts pounding on Shigurae for being such a perv.
Tohru wakes up to find the kitchen absolutely spotless. She looks around, and says.
"Every things so clean. Kagura and Kyo still haven't eaten their dinners. They must be starving." Tohru
Tohru looks around, and finds Kagura on the porch fixing the door. She looks at her, and says.
"Kagura?" Tohru
"This'll take all night I know it." Kagura
'has she been working this whole time?' Tohru
"I'm so hungry." Kagura
Tohru goes, and makes some rice-balls for Kagura. Kagura looks at the food, and Tohru says.
"Hi there. Um I made you a snack. I noticed you hadn't eaten your dinner yet, and I thought you might be hungry so I made you some rice-balls with the leftovers. I hope it's ok I served them cold? I can heat them up if you want." Tohru
"Uh no I like them this way." Kagura
Kagura eats one of the rice-balls, and thinks that it is delicious. Tohru smiles, and says.
"Ok then. Now why don't we see if we can't finish fixing this door." Tohru
"Huh?" Kagura
"I thought it would make the job more fun if we worked together." Tohru
"Yes that would be nice." Kagura
"Good." Tohru
"Before we start..." Kagura
"Yes?" Tohru
"Can I please have one more rice-ball?" Kagura
"Sure." Tohru
Shigurae is watching the two girls get to know each other, and is happy with the development. The two girls are fixing the door, and Kagura says.
"Hey lookie lookie ." Kagura
"It's a cat right?" Tohru
Kagura giggles, puts it on the door, and Tohru says.
"It's so cute." Tohru
"U huh." Kagura
"Look what I made." Tohru
"It's a little rat." Kagura
"You can tell?" Tohru
"Of course I can. It's adorable." Kagura
"Why thank you very much." Tohru
"I'll put it up right here." Tohru
"I'm going to do another one." Kagura
"Alright I will too." Tohru
"Tohru what are you going to make?" Kagura
"Lets see. How about a dog?" Tohru
"Ok then I'll make another cat. Tohru thank you. I hope we can be friends from now on." Kagura
"Yes I'd like that." Tohru
Tohru goes in search of Kyo, and finds him on the roof. She puts a ladder up, climbs so she can see onto the roof, and says.
"Kyo, you're not really planning to stay up here the whole night are you?" Tohru
"Better believe it; Kagura's still down there." Kyo
"You don't want her to be here?" Tohru
"What do you think? You see what happens when she's around. It's always like that she's crazy, and she won't ever shut-up about that stupid marriage crap. I can't stand it." Kyo
"I think it's sweet. When you have someone who loves you as much as she does you should really feel pretty lucky you know, and I think every girl dreams about getting married one day. Kagura just dreams a little louder than most." Tohru
A few minutes later Tohru comes back with a plate of rice-balls, and says.
"Here you go." Tohru
Kyo takes the rice-balls, and Tohru says.
"Kyo, you have a dream to don't you? To beat Yuki. Isn't that why you were up in the mountains for so long training?" Tohru
"Hm yeah I guess Shigurae told you." Kyo
"That must have been really hard being out there all by yourself." Tohru
"No I wasn't alone. I was with my master." Kyo
"Ooh a master he must be really strong then." Tohru
"Are you kidding? He could flatten that sissy rat boy with one punch. My master's as strong as they come. He's a Soma, but he never treated me like the others do. He's been teaching me to fight since I was a little kid. Sure he put me through hell up there in the mountains, but those were some of the best days of my life. It was like an adventure right. I'd wake up every morning, and ask myself what's he going to teach me, how much stronger am I going to get today. It was great ah listen to me just talking about it gets me pumped up. This must seem pretty stupid to someone like you huh?" Kyo
"No, no it's fascinating. I guess I really just don't know much about bare-handed fighting. Not to say I'm not interested to learn, and I mean I do know a little bit. I have a couple of moves I can show you. Um...let's see right strike." Tohru
"You suck." Kyo
'I think I've discovered something else new about Kyo. Underneath that angry face he usually makes he's been hiding this little awkward smile.' Tohru
The nest morning Kagura hugs Kyo as he is getting ready for school, and says.
"Kyo darling goodbye my love. Take care of yourself until I come back." Kagura
"Tell you what don't come back, and I'll be fine." Kyo
Tohru is watching the commotion with Shigurae, and says.
"Glad to see every things back to normal." Tohru
"Incidentally did you ever figure out which animal Kagura is?" Shigurae
"No not yet." Tohru
Kagura gets frustrated with Kyo, and says.
"Kyo be nice, or I'm not going to kiss you goodbye." Kagura
"Who needs it?" Kyo
"That's it Kyo you jerk I'm leaving you love." Kagura
The paper boy comes into the yard, and says.
"Hello it is I your ever reliable local paper boy come to deliver the news of the day." paper boy
Kagura comes crashing through the door right at the unsuspecting paper boy, and Shiguray says.
"This is bad." Shigurae
Kagura crashes into the paper boy, and transforms into her Zodiac form. Yuki shields her from view, and says.
"Ah, thanks for your hard work." Yuki
"Oh sure it's my job. Sorry I was a bit late this morning bye." paper boy
"Hey I figured out Kagura's Zodiac animal. She's a boar." Tohru
"Um that's cheating I think." Shigurae
"Kagura. You know I think I'm beginning to understand better why it is you like Kyo so much. He really does have a lot of good qualities, and the more I learn about them the more I want to see him the way you do." Tohru
Kagura proceeds to beat on Kyo, and Tohru corrects the misunderstanding saying.
"Excuse me maybe I should start over. What I'm trying to say is I hope I can be like you when it comes to finding all the good qualities in the people I care about. There not always easy to see." Tohru
"You want to be like me?" Kagura
"Uh-huh it's wonderful the way you find so many things to like about one person." Tohru
Kagura transforms back, and says.
"I don't know what to say." Kagura
"Put on some clothes." Kyo
They are walking to school, and Kagura is leaving while saying.
"Okay bye-bye oh and I'll bring you a new shirt the next time I come over Kyo love you." Kagura
"Good-bye see you again soon." Tohru
Tohru looks at Kyo with a smile, and Kyo says.
"Hey what's that look for?" Tohru
"Nothing you're just so lucky." Tohru
"Don't you even start. Come one we're going to be late." Kyo
"Oh well there was such a commotion that I couldn't even do any gardening." Yuki
"Oh the base those leeks you picked were delicious. Are you planting something new?" Tohru
"Yes strawberries." Yuki
"Really I can't wait I love strawberries." Tohru
"I thought you might. That's why I'm planting them." Yuki
Tohru smiles at Yuki, and says.
"Thanks." Tohru
Kagura comes running up to Kyo, and says.
"Kyo stop right there I almost forgot to give you your good-bye kiss come on pucker up." Kagura
'All of a sudden I'm feeling like there are a few things I'd like to do. I'd like to learn a little bit more about Kyo and Yuki if I can. About the things they like and the things they don't like I think that will help me to understand them a little bit better, and who knows maybe it'll help me to find all the good qualities in them that I haven't seen before.' Tohru
The next morning Tohru is in the school library, and says.
"Let's see I'm pretty sure this is the right section. Ah here it is." Tohru
Tohru takes the book off the shelf, and says.
"-Fiery Spirit the Inner Life of the Martial Artist- Sounds exciting. Ok next stop gardening. Oh hey this looks like a good one -12 Steps to a Happy Home Garden- 'I'm glad I've gotten to know Yuki and Kyo as well as I have, but I'd still like to get to know them even better. I think I can little by little, and learning about the things they like seems like a good way to start.' -100 Family Recipes- I'll bet there are some great dinner ideas in here." Tohru
Tohru goes to the desk, and says.
"I'd like to check these out please." Tohru
"Ah Miss Honda I've been looking for you." teacher
"Huh." Tohru
"You have a phone call waiting in the staff office. Come with me please." teacher
"Yes sir." Tohru
Tohru follows the teacher to the staff office, picks up the phone, and says.
"This is Tohru." Tohru
"Tohru dear this is your Grandfather." Grandfather
"Grandpa hi uh..."
"The renovations are finished, and so it is time for you to come home now. You must not impose on your friends any longer." Grandfather
"Yes Grandpa." Tohru
Tohru hangs up the phone, and with a heavy heart goes to collect her books from the librarian.
When she gets home Tohru sits down in the living room, and says.
"I just found out the renovations are done." Tohru
"Uh..." Shigurae
"I got a phone call from my Grandfather up at the school. He told me." Tohru
"Ah I see, and if memory serves you were planning to move back into the house once the work was done. Is that right?" Shigurae
"What renovations?" Kyo
"Oh I guess we never told you Kyo." Shigurae
"So what tell me know." Kyo
"Well you see after mom died I went to stay with my Grandfather on my fathers side. Around the same time I found Kuro in an ally, but then I found out my aunt and her husband were going to move into the house with us, and Grandfather decided to have some remodelling done. You know to make more room for everyone. So he went away to stay with my aunt while the work was being done, and we stayed here so I wouldn't miss school. Well we didn't stay here-here not at first I mean we were staying in a tent for awhile, but anyway now that they've finished with the construction it looks like we can go back, and..." Tohru
"Ok enough already! I get it." Kyo
"Uh I'm sorry I just thought that..." Tohru
"Don't mind him I think we caught him a little off guard with the news is all. We just witnessed a classic example of misdirected rage. I believe the technical term is being an ass." Shigurae
