Hello everyone up next is everyone's favorite piano lady with attitude and a gold heart. Kaede akamatsu! I didn't really have to think to hard for an idea with this one.

Just one more hour to go, that's right just one more.
Kaede thought this for the 53rd time in a row as she looked at herself in the mirror. Did she put on to much make-up? Did she put on to little? Was she gaining weight?
Pointless pessimistic questions piled in her head despite Kaede doing big performances like this since she was 8. All her friends from Hope's peak were in the audience or at least the ones that promised to come. Performing for friends and family wasn't anything new. Getting nervous over the littlest things before said performance wasn't anything new either sadly.
The only thing that was new was the that there was a specific person in crowd she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of. She had been dancing around her feelings for the longest. When they first met she thought he didn't like her much. Not that she went out her way to try forcing people to like her of course but still. He didn't talk to to anyone for the the first week while sitting in the back. She only actually noticed him when he was called by the teacher to answer a question. He kept his head down while muttering the answer out just somewhat loud enough that anyone heard it.
Even though she knew it wasn't any of her business he seemed lonely. It only felt natural to try talking to him. He'd run out the room without looking at her the second she tried getting his attention though. Not wanting to come off as too forward she left him alone a bit.
After the third time until she saw him in the hallway talking to Kaito of all people. Kaito wasn't a bad guy per say. Besides being loud sometimes and being through therapy for his past anger issues, he was pretty chill. What she found odd was that he was so opposite of the other boy. She didn't think he'd want to befriend him. Still they were talking casually when Kaito seemed to notice her and waved her over.
"Hey Kaede over here! My new friend here wants to say something to you." She was hardly far enough that he needed to shout like that but he did anyway.
If not for her good hearing she would of probably missed the other boy mumble "you didn't have to get the whole halls attention for this" as she approached.
"Hi Kaito. Your Shuichi from my math class right? My name is Kaede Akamatsu, I've been wanting introduce myself before in class but you always seem in rush." Kaede said.
"Y-You actually wanted to meet me?!" His voice a bit louder then before and oddly surprised. His pale face turned a bit pink at this statement.
Kaito gave the other boy a nudge with his elbow which pushed him a little closer.
"That's awesome, Shuichi actually wanted to introduce himself to you too but was a little nervous. I told him he had nothing to worry about." Kaito explained.
After that day the two of them spent a lot of time together. Weirdly Kaito would be the one to set them up some place or be "subtly" in his own way in the background seeming to make sure Shuichi didn't bolt. Eventually Kaito didn't need to hide in any bushes or wingman their setups and Shuichi asked her out.
A sudden knock on the door rattled her out of her thoughts for a minute. Upon opening it she was surprised to see Kaito there.
"Hey Kaede just wanted to let you know everyone wanted to wish you good luck today!" He exclaimed with smile.
"Thanks, I know it's dumb but I was feeling a bit nervous until now." Kaede sighed as she said this with a grateful smile in return.
"Hey now there's nothing dumb about feeling nervous. We all believe in you and Shuichi is especially excited. He even bought you a massive bouquet.! The astronaut pumped his fist in the air before seeming to freeze.
A look of sudden realization and embarrassment crossed his face as he scratched the back of his head.
"Oh um, don't tell shuichi I told you that last part, that was suppose to be a surprise. My bad."
She just laughed but promised not to tell before she finished getting ready. Once on stage she took note of Shuichi right away considering the truly comically over sized bouquet shaped like a heart. He was in the center while both Rantaro and Kaito held the sides. It a had a little banner on it with the word "YOU GOT THIS!" written on it. She recognized the font of the first letter as a bit of Angie's along with different styles per letter. That must of meant her friends who couldn't make it must of helped out to in a way of being there. It was sweet enough support that she was able to play confidently.

Hi, I know it's been way to long since I updated anything. I've just not been feeling motivated to do much lately. Not simply fics but really anything lately. Need to find more drive to do stuff but today I felt at least a little something so here's something for you to. Trust me I haven't run out of ideas, interest, or stories concepts to make, just gotta get myself into doing them.
