It's a very surprising day for RK. First, he breaks out of the Prison almost getting caught by the Rakshasa following the girl. Then he falls into a pipe finding the flashlight and the girl. He almost gets pulled down into the water and eaten alive by two giant eels, he almost drowns again seeing the wrinkled face of the monster trying to kill him, and THEN he is inadvertently saved by a vent shaft. Only to find that the reason that vent fell in the first place was because of the children/ monsters he ran from three years ago.

'How the hell did I get in this mess?'

He goes to glance over to the two. The albeit cute girl is leaning against the back of the couch looking over the boy who is sitting down squeezing all the water out of the cloak he was wearing.

'What were their names again, Mario and Seven?'

'No wait, Mono and Six'

"So, what are you two doing down here?"

Six looks over in RK's direction.

"We were running from the Lady when we dove into that vent. She really doesn't like us and attempted to use her powers to kill us."

Mono continues," Seems like the constant battering against the wall caused the rusty vent to fall apart and then we fell into the water. Another thing we'll have to fix when we take over. What about you RK, why are you down here?"

"I was trying to escape this hellhole. I don't know what the Ferryman was thinking bringing children here. I left the Prison found myself down here and almost drowned to death thanks to the monster in the water. Looked like an incredibly old grandmother. Then as luck would have it that vent shaft you were in fell right on top of her."

Mono spoke up, "Is there any chance that killed her, so we don't have to worry about that?"

RK shook his head, "No, it looks like that only scared it away. Speaking of which we should get moving. Any distance away from that thing would be very much desirable."

Mono and Six got up to follow RK up before he pointed right back at them.

"But don't think I'm alright with being near you two. I still don't quite trust you yet."

They both looked at each other before looking back to RK.

"Yeah, seems fair."

They all start swimming through the water. RK takes the lead, Six following behind while Mono is trailing behind noticeably the slowest of the three. Mono looks around as he's swimming to see the large room around him. Looking down he notices that most of the room is submerged leaving behind only a few bits of flotsam to stand on. Six is a bit intimidated by the room because she's never actually been down in the depths before. Her attention was also on RK who was still swimming speedily ahead.

'Why does he seem so familiar?'

It's almost like she's met him before and yet not at all. It should have been just a random thought and yet. Why couldn't she get rid of that lingering idea in her head.

RK was swimming admittedly just to keep his distance away from the two of them. It couldn't have been just a random coincidence that the two of them just showed up here. Why them? His hand subconsciously going down to his stomach as it had been for the past few weeks. The nightmares? Them showing up?

It couldn't be a coincidence.

Yet though, those events in his head may have only happened because he viewed them as untrustworthy. Maybe it was time to reconsider before that was too late.

The three of them were swimming past a group of barrels when Mono heard a splash of water behind him. Looking down under the water he saw a large shape quickly approaching.

"QUICK ONTO THE BARRELS!"

Six and RK looked back in his direction before joining him onto the barrels. Each of them standing on their own barrel floating in the water. The shape in the water prowling around them before disappearing into the depths. Six looked over the edge to try and find where the shadow went. The water too murky to see anything of detail.

"Careful Six, none of us know what that thing is capable of."

"I know Mono, but I don't think it can be on land for long otherwise it would have just-"

She was suddenly flung into the air as the barrel underneath launched upward a bit. She flailed her arms as she fell into the water. The dark shadow quickly making their way toward her as she floated. Mono jumped in after her as the shadow drew closer and closer. RK amidst all this chaos just started swimming to the sturdy ground being a pipe that stood out of the water attached to even more machinery.

Six was dragged underneath the water as well also seeing the ugly gleeful Granny's face drowning her to death. Six recalled blinking a few times seeing Mono's furious face get closer and closer before all fading to black.

Then light quickly came back as Six blinked back into focus feeling herself be carried towards the shore. Looking down she saw that she was being cradled by one arm and looking to her left she saw Mono swimming determined to get her to safety. A look was given by Mono always giving that protective energy over her as he continued swimming. Reaching the same piping he allowed Six to go up first before getting up himself. Six looked back to the spot she was dragged underwater only to see that the Granny was poking her head hate. Glaring directly at Mono while grasping a bleeding hand before sinking back into the murky depths before. Six was about to ask Mono how he felt when she saw him corner RK.

"And why exactly did you continue on while Six was being pulled underwater?"

Mono grabbed the cuff of RK's shirt before pushing him against the wall.

"And what exactly could I have done to help her? Besides would you have done the same for me if I were in that situation?"

Six looks out over the water. "Um guys?"

"Do you really think so little of us that you think we would abandon people like that. If memory serves me correctly, we were the ones that saved you from being sold as meat all those years ago. Then you left just because we were defending ourselves. Don't be so judgmental at us when you don't even know who we are or what we've been through."

Mono lets go of RK's shirt before turning to face Six.

"Sorry Six just needed to get that off my chest. What's wrong?"

She gestured off in the water below them seeing the Granny constantly swimming in the area Mono was standing above.

"I think you made it angry to the point it's only following you now."

"Alright then we can use that to our advantage. You two can continue on I can see another safe spot out in the distance."

"What about you?"

"I'll linger back here effectively taunting the thing while you two look for a way for me to catch up."

Six pulled him into a hug, "Just be careful, ok?"

"Six, you've known me for the past three years. Would I really-"

"Yes, yes you would."

With that Mono began climbing back down near the water. The Granny was already there holding out a bleeding hand waiting for him. Mono was constantly pulling his leg up and down playing fish with the already irritated Granny.

Six and RK get to the other side as the Granny catches Mono's foot and tries to pull him under.

"Is he always this suicidal?"

"You have no idea, but he doesn't do it because he wants to die. He always does what's better for everyone else. It's what one of the things I find so admirable about him."

"What kind of relationship do you two HAVE?"

Six ignores that question and begins calling out to the other side. Mono hearing this begins climbing up avoiding the angry shrieks from the Granny. Still annoyed the Granny swims underneath the piping as Mono walks above carefully treading the walkway making sure not to fall.

RK goes to look for a way to distract the Granny seeing a hand crank used to work a pulley system holding something under the water. He begins cranking it while Six watches the Granny attempt to climb up the metal work. Try being the keyword there as the Granny continuously fell back into the water with each try.

A handhold there. Splash!

A place for a foot here. Slosh!

Six was starting to find it amusing if it weren't for the fact these were attempts to try and kill Mono. She was distracted by the sound of an object being hauled out of the water. Seems she wasn't the only one distracted as the Granny heard this and began swimming over in the direction of the sound. Mono seeing his chance leapt into the water when the Granny was a good distance away. Swimming frantically Mono reached the other side with Six hauling him up.

"You alright Mono?"

"Yeah *huff* I'm fine. Not the worst experience."

"Can one of you give me a hand with this?"

RK was struggling to reel up the bag as the Granny was noticeably holding on tight. Trying to hold on, her hands clawing into the fabric, and small tears could be heard. Mono and Six each took alternate sides of RK. Mono pulling with RK and Six pushing the crank. Then with a large tear the bag tore open and all three of them got the bag up with ease. Only to turn around and see the corpses of so many children drop out of the bag. All of them watching with horror as the Granny pulled down each body. Not even a bone the Granny just swallowed them whole.

For that was the fate of those who dared venture into the depths.

"Dear God, what's wrong with her."

Mono walked up to RK placing his hand on his shoulder, "Hunger makes people do terrible things."

RK at once shrugged off his hand feeling a crawling sensation down his back.

"And what about you two?! Have you ever eaten someone else?"

Six looked downcast. "I have, and it was the worst thing I've ever done. I regret it to this very day but know this. I had no control of my actions that day and if I had the chance to go back and fix it. I would."

"Were… were they an enemy?"

"Yes, and like I said if I had any control over my actions that day. I would've found a better way to finish them off."

RK just stayed silent after that. Not knowing how to respond to that. Mono on the other hand took a running start and then swung using the bag as a rope. He then used the adjacent hook finally landing onto the pier. Looking over the edge he saw the Granny was still devouring cadavers of children in the water. Calling out to Six he stood at the edge holding out a hand. Six jumped first with Mono holding out both hands to catch her. Launching herself from the hook Six jumps with her hands outstretched towards Mono. Not really needed as she managed to land right next to him.

"Nice dismount, Six. Your turn RK!"

RK took another running start just as the last arm went under the water. RK snagged the cloth bag when it suddenly dropped lower with another tear. Because he was on a time limit, he quickly jumped over to the hook barely catching it with one hand. Using momentum of the swing he launched himself forward and in those few moments as he flew, he saw. He wasn't going to make it. Still falling with his hand outstretched he started plummeting past the planks. His fall was halted as Six quickly dashed forward to grab his hand with Mono holding her steady. RK looked up a small bit of gratitude on his face as he was pulled up.

"*Huff* Thanks for that, thought I wasn't gonna make it."

Mono looks at him with a small smile, "No one gets left behind on our watch."

Six walks over to the tub that was on the pier. It was filled with a foul-smelling sludge and in that sludge were bits of seafood. Looking over to the water and back to the discarded fish Six had an idea. Picking up one of the fish she called for Mono and RK to take a look. She chucked the fish into the water and a few seconds later it disappeared. As if on cue another fish fell out of the pipe above and into the tub.

"So, here's a thought, one of us could stay back and keep throwing the fish into the water to distract the Granny from coming after us. The other two will have to swim ahead and just look for another way to distract it while I catch up."

RK speaks up, "Actually I have a much better idea."

He walks over to the tube grabbing three different pieces of fish before handing one each to Mono and Six.

"All of us throw them at the same time and just swim as fast as possible. It was distracted very well with the massive banquet it got from the bag. I wouldn't be surprised if this would have the same effect. On three."

With the count of three all of them chucked their fish into the water. The result was instantaneous with the Granny scarfing down each of the fish. RK taking the lead again swimming ahead with Six and Mono close behind. The last of the fish had been pulled into the water and the shadow underneath quickly gave pursuit to the three teenagers. All three of the made it to the other side. RK got up first from the water helping Six onto the shore as well. As soon as Mono reached up onto the platform he was quickly pulled down into the water.

"MONO!"

Six at once running back to the water with RK holding her back. Small bubbles could be seen rising on the surface quickly popping.

"LET ME GO!"

"NO, the only reason that thing let me go was because of the vent shaft falling on top of her. The only reason it let go of you was because Mono did something to it. There's not much we can do for him except maybe find something heavy to drop-"

He was interrupted as Mono's head broke the surface along with two gangly fingers sliced at the knuckle. Gasping for air Mono pulled himself onto the ground before laying there for a few seconds. RK and Six looked with the latter crouched over Mono checking for injuries. He was completely drenched in water and blood, and as Six pulled off the hood RK could see scars on his neck.

Were those bite marks?

Looking down he then notices his claw is extremely bloody the way that he escaped the Granny's clutches. Then he notices that blood appears to be staining around his leg

Six seeing RK's gaze lifts up Mono's foot and there's a gash on the back of his leg.

"Mono you're bleeding."

"Yep, it managed to scratch me when I sliced its fingers off."

Six goes to take the necklace off wanting to, no, needing to heal her love. Mono however holds up his hand keeping her from doing so.

"We don't need any more monsters after us right now. If this place was occupiable by people once the Geisha probably can get down here as well."

"Y-you can't just walk around with a cut like that Mono. At least let me bandage it. RK give me a hand."

The two of them pulled Mono up against the wall and propped him up. Six using Mono's sharp claws cut a couple of pieces off her cloak.

"I'm going to take a look around while you dress that wound."

Mono looked over in RK's direction. "Just don't go too far."

Mono then winced as pressure was applied to his scratch.

"Sorry Mono."

"Do what you have to Six. I know you don't mean me any harm. This is better than the alternative of having both the Granny, an underwater threat, and the Geisha, a land threat."

Using some of the pooled water in a puddle Six began cleaning out the wound getting rid of excess blood and grime around his leg.

"Hey Mono, what are your thoughts on RK?"

"Personally, I don't really blame him for the things he says or does. I don't really resent him I guess if I were in his shoes, I wouldn't be too trusting either. I'm not sure what his problem his at the same time. What about you?"

Six begins wrapping cloth around Mono's scratch. The cloth helping to hinder the blood from flowing out of his body.

"I'm not too sure on what I think of him. He did leave for his own safety I can understand that having to do that before myself. But I find this the odd thing, I feel like I know him from somewhere."

Mono shifted his position against the wall in an inquisitive kind of way.

"As in before the grocery raid?"

"Yeah, and it's the oddest thing because I didn't spend that much time around the other inhabitants of the MAW. I watched the Guests walk to their doom I spent a little time with the chefs when they brought me food, but other than the Nomes, no one."

Six finished tying the makeshift bandage around his leg.

"That should suffice for now. Unless you want me to kiss it to feel better."

"As much as I wouldn't mind a kiss we should probably continue moving."

Six held out her hand which Mono graciously took. Taking a few careful steps before getting used to the feeling.

"Well, it's just one of life's many mysteries. RK's past identity isn't that important to our current situation. We need to keep moving."

RK is seen walking into the next room. This place appearing to be a residential suite for an occupant. It's been too long and damaged for anyone to live there now. A machine is seen up embedded in the wall with a switch. What it does RK cares not for right now. His mind is filled with many contradicting thoughts concerning the other two just a room away.

'Maybe I'm wrong about them. The monsters in my nightmares were remorseless, desperate, and angry creatures. These people are willing to help me out. They saved me from a watery grave twice now. They are true to their word. They can't be monsters, they care.'

RK puts a hand up to his stomach.

'She said she wasn't in control of her actions before, but now? I'm not sure she'd actually do that. Nor would he.'

He goes to pull the switch down watching the water drain down into the lower levels.

'I haven't been trusting of people and look where it's gotten me. Maybe it's time for a change.'

Hearing footsteps he turns around to see the other two walking towards him. RK takes a deep breath before preparing himself. He holds up his hand to get their attention.

"Look, I-I wanna apologize for my rude behavior from earlier. It was unnecessary and too harsh."

Mono speaks up, "This is a harsh world RK it's understandable that no one is that trusting at first."

"Even so, it's not good for any of us to have any disregard for the other. So, if possible, I'd like to start over."

"What do you mean by start over?"

With that RK just held out his hand as if he were introducing himself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you my name is Kai, I'm just a boy looking for freedom."

Mono and Six playing along took his and shook, "I'm Six and this is my boyfriend Mono. We're looking to take over the MAW and make it a safe place for children. Give the world a clean slate by slowly getting rid of the other monsters."

Mono spoke up again, "Wait, you said back in the grocery store that you had no name. What changed?"

"I was always named Kai. It's just that… back where I came from, they always called me the Runaway Kid. Always running for freedom."

"Well Kai if you work with us even if that means being an extra pair of eyes in the MAW. We will let you go free to do as you please."

All of them nodding in agreement at that then turned to the room Kai just drained the water of. A two-story room with a table on the lower floor with a pot that was shaking ever so slightly. Kai first descended using a chest of drawers to do so with Mono and Six following behind. Kai goes to open the door only to find a padlock holding it shut.

"You two have any ideas?"

Six with Mono's aid clambered up to the top of the table with the clay pot still shuddering. Six walked over to the pot holding an ear to the pottery. Something with moving in there with a squelch but Six could also hear a clink in there as well.

"Mono prepare yourself. I'm gonna drop the pot and with you using your claw slice whatever's moving in there."

Six pushing against the pot with all her might tipped it over the edge. The short fall being enough as the clay pot shattered into dozens of fragments. Like Six thought there was a leech inside, but the glimmer of a key caught her eye. The leech looked around before seeing Kai. It moved to drain Kai of his blood only to feel something dig into its side and tear it apart.

"Dear Elysium, I hate leeches so much." Mono complains as he throws the two chunks of parasitic flesh away from him. Kai now assured of zero harm to him picked the key free of clay and used it on the lock. With a clank the lock fell to the floor and the three of them continued into another derelict room. This one is a shaft with the only way forward being a ladder. Mono went first this time with Six and Kai following quickly behind. They all could faintly hear something popping above them. Pushing up the grate they ascended into another submerged room.

The constant popping coming from a breaker box with one of the wire stuck in the water electrifying it. Mono seeing a switch pulls it down hoping it turns off the power. Instead of doing that it instead only allows the water to drain.

Six observing this says, "Okay so, draining the water gives us no way to move on and if we let the water run through here, we'll just be electrocuted if we attempt to swim. I do see a couple of suitcases though. If we use those, we might be able to cross without any harm to us."

With all three of them working in tandem move the suitcases in such a way that they form a small bridge after Kai gets the idea to open them up. It works quite well as Six lets the water fill the room again allowing them to cross into an old shower room. Decrepit doesn't even begin to describe it as shower heads and pipes just out from the walls. Too tall for even adults in this world. Maybe for the Thin Man but there's no telling that now. A porthole can be seen through the wall and all of them hear even more water.

Mono is the first to say, "Alright, I'll go first this time. If there's water and the Granny below me, I can defend myself."

"That may be true Mono but your also the only one out of us three who's the most hurt one of us should go instead."

Kai speaks up, "I'll go, it's about time I did some work other than flip some switches."

With that Kai walks over to the hole and hoists himself up and over. He tumbles a small bit landing on his side. Slowly getting up he dusts himself up and looks at his surroundings.

Just to see a pair of black angry eyes staring him down from the dank dark room before sinking back into the water. Kai barely notices a small trail of blood where the Granny once was.

"It's alright, well alright as it can be with a monster in the water. Mind the drop too."

Mono goes next wincing as his foot collides with the floor. He stands there shaking off the pain as Six joins them near the edge of the water. Mono gets a little too close to the water as a two fingered hand launches out of the water trying to snag Mono and pull him under again.

"Okay so it still seems to be after me. I can stick behind again taunting it while you two swim ahead?"

Six just turns to look at Mono, "No Mono I'm not just gonna let you play bait for me the whole time. You're not my meat shield."

And to prove it Six quickly jumped into the water. The liquid underneath turning foamy white as the Granny drew closer. A hand snuck out of the water trying to grab Six right when she pulled herself up onto another set of barrels. She looked back down into the water to see the Granny's form rise faster and faster before colliding with the barrel. Six jumps from barrel to barrel doing her best to avoid the Granny's fury.

"HOLD ON SIX I'M COMING! Kai, can you shine the light so I can see a bit more clearly?"

Kai nods beginning to shine the light the room becoming illuminated. Shining it over in Six's direction the shadow under the water seemed to pull away.

Mono seeing this looks over to Six. "Kai, can I see that flashlight?"

Mono took the offered flashlight and then held the light away from the group of barrels. Immediately the shadow returned to attack the group of barrels again. When Mono shined the light directly at the shadow it swam away trying to keep out of the light.

'It's like back in the hospital again with the Patients.'

Mono turning back to Kai held the flashlight out again. "The Granny seems to fear the light if all of us share the flashlight we can all cross safely ahead."

"I'll do it you need to keep on swimming ahead because of your wound slowing you down. You two will swim ahead while I bring up the rear keeping us all safe."

Kai begins aiming the flashlight in such a way that keeps the Granny cornered. As soon as Mono enters the water to rejoin Six it seems like the shadow wants to go after him but is deterred by the light. Then it's Kai's turn he hops into the water, and he sees under the surface for a few seconds.

The Granny's face is full of fear, sadness, and anger. As if the light absolutely terrifies her into animalistic rage but her fear keeps her alarmed of the situation. He keeps his eyes and his arm trained in its direction kinda stunned not expecting the Granny to act like that. It only made him afraid of what would happen as soon as he turned off the light. He was taken out of his stupor when something grabbed him by the back of his collar. Looking behind he saw both Six and Mono pulling him away from the Granny.

"Keep your light trained on her Kai, don't let her get a chance to advance on us."

Kai quickly looked back noticing that looking back like cost him to shine the flashlight elsewhere. He quickly shined it back when he saw the Granny was quickly advancing on them. The light causing her to recoil but because of the limited beam the light provided it was not going all the way back. The light kept it at bay but only for so far. Kai kept it aimed with vigilance as Six and Mono escorted him forward. The three of them quickly clambering up a tall set of chest of drawers before feeling it shudder. With a few more shudders it started to topple into the water. Kai took another running leap with Mono and Six holding out their arms. With a heave Kai was pulled and they saw the damage below. The chest of drawers was torn apart piece by piece with planks of wood floating on the surface.

"Y'know Mono, that chest of drawers was actually you sized."

"Okay just so you know Six I'm taller than the two of you by a small bit. How was that thing Mono sized?"

Mono wipes the hair off his forehead, "It's a long story and one you would never believe, nor do we have time for. Let's keep moving."

Entering another part of what appear to be staff quarters they find themselves up against another Eyed door. Mono in a panic quickly checks the woodwork for a glimmer. Seeing none he feels relieved before beginning to push against it trying to open it.

"Wait Mono we don't quite know what's on the other side of the-"

The door opens by falling forward with Mono still pushing up against it. Both Six and Kai look through the open doorway to see that Mono has fallen on water using the door as a raft.

Relief quickly taken away when they hear the heavy splash coming from a soaked armchair.

Panic entering their heads when the door Mono was on quickly splintered apart with Mono thrown into the air.

Terror gripping their hearts as a hand grabbed Mono midair dragged him into the murky depths.

"KAI QUICKLY THE FLASHLIGHT!"

He quickly fumbled with the flashlight before shining it into the water. Two shapes one large and small quickly separated with the latter of the two breaking the surface of the water. Mono quickly grabs a lungful of air before the Granny breaks the surface as well with her eyes closed.

"FIND ANOTHER WAY TO KEEP HER AT BAY YOU TWO! I'LL KEEP HER DISTRACTED." Mono says as he's quickly pulled down into the water.

Six and Kai start swimming as the Granny and Mono have their underwater bout. Six could see small flecks of red in the water and she prayed to Elysium that it wasn't Mono's. Kai saw a few platforms standing out in the water. A splash could be heard in the distance and Kai looked down to see Mono breaching for air. It's been a while, but Kai saw a feral anger sprawled on Mono's face with his claws a crimson red.

"KEEP MOVING KAI!"

Six quickly clambered past Kai before he came to. Climbing up onto the platform seeing another breaker box. Kai quickly pulled it down again. Lights quickly popping on and Six saw as a flurry of bubbles erupted from the surface. Hope filling her as Mono broke the surface again. Quickly swimming to another part of the room away from the Granny. The Granny then broke the surface and Six saw the damage Mono did while he was under there.

Her face was scratched to the Void itself. Her eyelids torn off never able to blink again, there were massive gashes in her cheeks they could see teeth, one of her eyes were gouged out, and her body was littered with cuts. Kai now seeing his path much more clearly used a light to swing from one platform to another. Seeing another switch Kai pulled it down. This one filling the room with water and Kai felt the platform below him shudder.

"KAI! Over here quickly!"

Six held out her hand for him wanting him to make the jump. Kai obeying as the platform gave one last shudder before collapsing into the water.

"Thanks, Six."

"Don't thank me yet. We're not done yet. Mono do you see anything on your side that could help?"

Using the elevated water Mono climbed up to the other platform. Reaching the top, he saw a shattered TV that, while smoking a small bit, didn't appear to be functional. He looked over to the open door and then back to the TV. He then looked at his hand and then back to the water.

"I've got an idea get over as fast as you can."

Six and Kai, dove into the water as something launched out of the water striking the bulb in the middle of the room. Then another, this one striking true shattering the glass of the bulb filling the room with darkness. The sound of water rushing quickly approaching them from behind. Kai and Six scrambled to get to the top when they felt the platform shudder. Reaching the top, they saw Mono pushing the TV.

"HELP ME PUSH THIS THING!"

The three of them working together quickly pushed the broken electronic.

"Wait, how is this going to help us stop her Mono?"

"It's not meant to stop her."

The TV fell into the water with a splash and Mono grabbed one of their arms each.

"It's meant to be our escape."

With that Mono ran forward pulling the other two with him. He fell right on top of the TV before flinging them forward seeing the warty hands of the Granny quickly wrap around the TV. Mono dashed forward after seeing the two of them make the jump to the other side. The Granny made one last attempt to grab Mono and drag him into the water. One last jump and Mono landed on solid ground. The nails of the Granny scratching against the metal floor of the MAW.

All three of them laid there with exhaustion in silence. Then a small laugh could be heard from one of the three. A laugh that was quickly cojoined Six as they picked themselves up.

"Okay Mono, that was actually a good plan. Much better than your usual plans."

"Hey! Let's not forget the plan I had to get us to freedom."

"Ok ok, fair point."

Kai just stares at the two of them in disbelief. "I'm sorry, I must have missed the joke. How on earth can you be so nonchalant about surviving near death like that?"

Mono and Six just looked at each other before hooking an arm around their shoulders.

"Just comes with the life we've lived together."

"That brings to another question I have. WHAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP DO YOU TWO HAVE!?"

"Well, I guess you could say."

Mono says as he snakes his arm around Six before pulling her into twirl ending up supported only by his hand holding her up. The two of them staring each other in the eyes deeply.

"We're soulmates." Six finished before pulling Mono into a quick kiss.

"Okay you know what I'm not going to question it any further. The sooner we get out of here the better."

Seeing the vertical shaft, they were in they started ascending the stairs. Kai walking forward with the flashlight guiding their way as Mono and Six walked forward hand in hand. They reached another ladder with light seeping in from the top. Kai went first again, Mono second, and Six last.

Kai pushes up the grate to see a few rats scurrying past him.

Wait what were they running fro—

Mono looks around seeing pitch black darkness all around him before feeling a sharp pain in his side before all fading to black.

Six climbs up the ladder with the grate opening with a clang. She was quickly grabbed by the Rakshasa's third pair of arms. She looks on seeing Mono and Kai limp in the Rakshasa's other arms. Before she can ponder on it any further one of the purple claws dig into her sides.

And all she sees is nothing as sleep overtakes her.
