Chapter 5 Dark Army
Xionas unsheathed his Father's Kamas from his sides and blocked the dagger with one. Then transformed the other into its gun form and shot Lamia
"You bastard" she shouted raising her hand as Violet glyphs circled her hands and she chanted in a strange language, yet Xionas understood it
"Cursed Water of the void, hear my words and obey, I call upon the power of the whale to vanquish my foe, let my aim be true and strike him down, Aqua shot!"
"Damn, what kind of semblance is this?"
"Semblance? Oh right your Universe has unique abilities called 'semblances', your not familiar with magic" flaunted Baltrogg
"Ma-gick?"
"An energy that allows you to use untapped abilities."
"...Soooooo...A semblance? A semblance with words" said Xionas plain-faced
"Grrrr how dare you mock our dark power, taste the flames of hell." Said Baltrogg as he to raised up his hand and then slammed it to the ground and chanted in the same unfamiliar, yet familiar language
"Spirits of the damned, rise up and listen to the call of your master and feast on the souls of the living. Dark Army!"
And at least 50 dark shadow-like figures rose from a gigantic red circle with glyphs in it similar in nature to Lamia's but somehow different. "Alright I guess I bring out the big guns then." Xionas said as he lifted his hand to his back and slammed a cloth bound rod into the ground "Earth Breaker!", then 5 pillars of stone shot out of the ground, nearly destroying the library, "I have to surpass my limits, if not for myself then for Her." Xionas thought as his eyes lit azure but this time with a smoke like trail around the rear tear ducts, and he was gone.
Moments later an Azure 5-pointed star crisscrossed the 5 pillars of stone "Azure star technique: 5 points of night."
"Ha. Stupid child, that technique did diddly shit, your dead" shouted Baltrogg
"Omae wa mou shindeiru." said xionas cooly
"W-what?!" Then Baltrogg and his army shattered into countless pieces. Before Baltrogg fell to dust, as is the custom in remnant when a person dies, his mask crumbled off revealing a person of a curious nature. He had green eyes and red hair, and pointed ears. "Who..what are you people?"
"Shit. We'll meet again, son of nothing."
And like that, as if by magic. Lamia, her partner and all the crazy shit was gone. But the damage of the battle remained both in the physical plane and in Xionas' memory. Later in a far away place called " the dominion of death". "Merde" Said Lamia, pulling off her mask to reveal a woman with blue skin and black hair pulled into a ponytail. "Even sector 2112.6184's best assassins weren't good enough. *sigh* I guess you dont send a woman to do a man's job" said a man in a similar getup to Lamia and the recently deceased Baltrogg but green and a lizard mask. "Basilisk, what do you want?"
"Xionas Azure's head on my wall. But the great 'Widowmaker' and Sin'dorei Rouge couldn't even give me that." I guess I'll have to turn to our enemy by giving her a little push"
