9. Chapter 9

Chapter 9 From Shadows

Six months past and Xionas waited in the bushes for something or someone, "according to the shipping manifest and my calculations the train..with Adam on it, should arrive-" Xionas lept into the night air and landed on a train "now" he sliced open the shipping container and hopped inside. "Intruder identify yourself" an electronic voice stated. Xionas unbuttoned his holster for his Father's Kamas and shifted them to gun mode and shot three rounds into the darkness. Red eyes activated in the darkness as a hulking robot appeared from the shadows and hurled a fist at him. Xionas dodged it, returned one Kama to its holster and unsheathed his Katana, sliced upward and cut the robot's arm off.

Xionas traveled a few cars, saw a litter of robot scraps " Hatch is open, so they must've done this" Xionas said, kicking a damaged robot. Suddenly the car lurched "Hold the F*ing scroll, are we stopping. The train was supposed to go Boom." Xionas dashed through a hole in the car to see Blake trailing off in the distance sorrowfully. And Adam Taurus, "you?" Adam questioned.

"You" Xionas growled "why must you be there before shit hits the fan. I was going to tell Blake how I feel, then you showed up. I could've saved Omega, but YOU sent me on a mission to get the manifest for this stupid train, And you were... Oh my God, you were on the Island the day my house burned down. You...you Bastard, Aristo was right about you, you probably killed my dad, or even Omega." Xionas' Ohm started to burn. "Fool, why would I risk such a small fry to wet my blade? I sent talons after them" taunted Adam

"Can't even do your own dirty work. You're worse than a bastard, you're a coward. And...and..." Xionas' Ohm lit ablaze with blue fire. "I'LL MURDER YOU!!" He roared as he lunged at Adam scraping his Katana across the metal floor sending orange sparks up into the evening air. Their blades clashed so ferociously that a shockwave of compressed air and heat was sent arcing in all directions. "Why? Why Adam? My Father trusted you, Omega trusted you. I trusted you. Why would you kill them?"

"They were in my way, if I killed the founders of the fang. Then I could lead the fang. Not just the Talons. I could help you navigate your FROZEN WATERS"

And with those words Xionas' body went stiff

"You're no match for me, I created you. I can erase you too"

And Xionas' vision went dark.

When he awoke Adam was gone, as was Blake. He was alone. Or was he?

"You have my strength Fishboy, use it wisely" said a familiar voice
