Chapter 19 Foreverfall forest and the Dragon
Xionas awoke drenched in sweat, another nightmare of two radiances tormenting him, a brilliant crimson and an illustrious azure. The two lights seemed to argue over who had control over him. Xionas looked at his scroll. "Crap, Crap, Crap, Crap!" He yelled rushing down the hall with his toothbrush in his mouth "I'm gonna be late, Professor Goodwitch is gonna kill me."
As Xionas walked in the Foreverfall forest to meet up with his class for Honey Harvesting he noticed Cardin Winchester, Leader of team CDNL( Cardinal), talking with Jaune Arc, Leader of Team JNPR (Juniper), which was strange, Cardin was a bully so why hang with the Make-a-Wish fighter, "something seems fishy" Xionas thought to himself. So he trailed them , then sniffed the air "Oh it's me" he said then started to track them. From a distance he caught wind of Cardin essentially manipulating Jaune into throwing a jar of nectar that would have alerted a pack of Ursa nearby, he took one step and heard "Goblin shark" and he froze, then a figure then emerged from the shadows Fafnir, you crafty dragon" Xionas said with his face in the dirt. "Adam hired me to find you. Apparently you are sniffing in places you aren't supposed to. Causing trouble for the fang." Said the Faunus, "So naturally you knew my codewords?" Said Xionas attempting to get up. "Some events are beyond your comprehension. I'm not just trying to save my skin. Not when the world is at stake." Fafnir said in a voice cold as ice. "You're straying from the worldline flow. That can be cause for elimination, goodnight Azure... Frozen Waters' ' and Xionas Blacked out.
Deep within his mind he met two brilliant lights. One of Azure the other Crimson, they spoke "Mortal child of Nothing, you are here because the universe has deemed you a light bearer, but you possess two lights. Rage and Hope, two polar opposites in fact" spoke the gentle Azure light, " But you're on the path of destruction. If you fail to choose a light by your death, you will be subjected to Nekron's Wrath." Shouted the harsh Crimson light. "Ok first, why do all otherworldly beings call me 'Child of Nothing' . I have parents Sonai Azure and Julia Sapphire, and second do I really have to pick? Isn't Humanity made of all lights, Just some have one light stronger than the others?" Argued Xionas. The Crimson light growled at him "you know not where you come from. Your existence is an abomination to all that we lights stand for! We-" Yelled the Crimson light before a figure Manifested in front of Xionas "Now Butcher, ye know yer not allowed to do that without consent from the Rage council. So what did ya do this time Fishboy?" Said Omega Crimsonhorn
