Interlude 1: Champions of the Light
The General looked around at his closest friends. Thinking back to what Adara told him in a vision. "There will be an Anomaly, one who threatens the fabric of reality, when he appears. Destroy him!" The General knew this Anomaly was Xionas Azure, however he poured over what he had learned as a Champion of light. "Nowhere in any of the Books of Light and Dusk does it have this being. So how can we determine that he is a threat?" The King then spoke up "the 9 have no recollection of this being so therefore he must've existed before the universe began." Suddenly someone arrived from the shadows, a Woman in a black cloak with orange lining, wearing a mask resembling a hummingbird, "He doesn't exist because history has been rewritten, fear not Champions of the Light, for I am not your enemy, I come bearing a clue"
Almost instantly they were surrounded in an orange circle lined with a strange language. The masked woman started speaking in a strange language. Soon the party was encompassed in an orange bubble and time seemed to head in reverse until there was nothing but darkness. The woman stopped chanting her spell "This is the Dawn of the Universe, the only safe place where I can speak to you freely without my Master listening to us" she spoke as she removed her mask to reveal a young woman who had Blake's face and Xionas' eyes "My name is Kali Azure, my Father is indeed the Anomaly, but in my time he is known as 'Supreme King Xionas' an evil man, almost the opposite of the version of him you all know. But if he were to be guided to a righteous path his fate may change." The King stood in awe at the magic before him while the General pondered what it all meant. Then the king asked a question "If you're here then no matter what we failed right? It's a simple Grandfather Paradox, if we purify him then you'll no longer exist, therefore never came back to warn us. So-" Kali put her hand up "yes I am a walking Paradox, however Nekron's power keeps my existence intact. He knows not that I even conspire against him. Correct my Father please," and Kali began chanting again as time returned to it's normal flow, the general saw something out of the corner of his eye, a land of utmost beauty, then it was covered in mist as the Multiverse formed around them. Soon The General and The King were back in Team SMDG's room still confused if what they saw was a vision or an Omen.
