Loud House: Flash!

8th Flash: Full Metal Princess

Winter grasped the city of Royal Woods tightly in its clutches, nearly no soul brave enough to wander beyond their homes for love nor money.

All but one. And not for money.

"Lola, can you hear me?"

The three rose-tinted lenses telescoped behind its glassy cyclopean exterior, the whole contraption surrounded by pink metallic shelling, searching madly through the snowy hell for the current distance of the thing its entire body was pursuing.

"I repeat, Lola, can-"

"I can hear you just fine, Lori!" the girl growled, her grip tightening around handles held in both her tiny palms, "Now shut it! I'm trying to concentrate and this thing is moody!"

Static burst across the radio, but Lisa's lisp rang through. "I've done my best to stall their flight, but you must-"

"I know!" finally, she spotted her target. And the capsule. "I see them!"

The slender humanoid giant reached back, slipping a knife from a sheath clasped to its metallic waist. Knowing she had one shot, she waited, the distance closing, metal-shod feet pounding roads to rubble even as the airport came into view and, off a ways, a very ominous looking helicopter entered her HUD's sights.

She had to take the risk. "Take this, you dirt bag!" with a howl, she threw the knife so hard that it hit the giant beast she was pursuing square in the shoulder opposite the capsule. "Got'em!" she squealed, then barked, "Active-whatever, activate!"

A robotic female voice replied, "Unrecognized command-"

"You mean to say," Lisa interrupted, "Active Camo-"

"Active Camo, activate!" Lola snapped, cutting her sister off.

The multitude of blonde wires that jutted out of the helm gleamed as energy pulsed through each strand, each doing their job as the giant almost immediately vanished.

Though not soon enough.

The beast roared in pain, but gently stowed the capsule within reach of the trucks near the helicopter before turning to face its foe. Now one arm down, it yanked free the knife and, watching, flung it where the snow seemed to part.

"Dang it!" it had nearly hit Lola, scratching the paint on the giant machine, but actual damage was avoided. "You wanna play, bub? Take this!" she screeched, dashing forward as a second arm-mounted blade flashed into existence. Lola ducked down and, with a growl, thrust it upward into the beast's serpentine skull.

But the beast denied her an easy win.

"Crap!" the creature seized the pink two-story giant's arm with its only working one, then lifted its foot and slammed the metal humanoid, nearly ripping the arm off.

Yet Lola was smarter. "Activate the dang field already!"

"I'm sorry, I don't-" the onboard computer? Unfortunately, not so much.

Lisa's voice crackled to life as Lola struggled to avoid losing her limb and the capsule, "To activate the Utter Terror's Field, you need to say, 'Computer, activate Utter Terror's Field'-"

"Activating Utter Terror's Field."

"Yes," Lisa lisped dryly at what she'd unintentionally just done. "Like that."

But Lola wasn't paying attention anymore. Instead, she focused squarely on her foe, the field flickering to life just in time to block the kick, sending a shock of pain through the beast's body which loosened its grip, allowing Lola to take the advantage.

"Eat this, you-" a stream of curses flooded out of the young girl's mouth as she grabbed hold of the beast with one hand and slammed the blade on the other into its throat. She would have taken more delight in her act had she not been in a hurry and, as the beast gurgled its last and bled out across the runway, she wrenched her arm free and took off after the trucks now eagerly retreating with the capsule.

The machine stomped its way across the airfield, ascertaining where the truck with the capsule was before, with a mighty leap, it jumped forward and crashed into the helicopter, ensuring they'd not be able to flee. The crews manning the vehicles all began to scatter as her mech crawled from the helicopter's wreckage, nary a new scratch due to the strange field's protection.

But that didn't matter. The capsule, what lay inside it, mattered.

"Is he okay?" Lola nervously asked as the capsule holding her artificially comatose brother was reclaimed and immediately scanned.

Lori's voice came through moments later. "Lisa's triple checking right now, but she says everything looks good, Lols. Both of you come home safe now, okay? The others are getting suspicious."

"The Boanoids and their creators, ALLOY, don't appear to have done anything to Lincoln. Makes sense-"

"Blah-blah, just literally make sure Lincoln's woken up soon or-"

"I know, eldest sibling unit…"

Lola ignored the chattering of her siblings and instead focused only on guiding her only brother and herself back home.

"Don't worry, Lincy, I'll protect your annoying butt. Those punks are just gonna have to deal with not getting their science-y stuff back from your body. Besides," she huffed to herself from inside the cockpit, glad that the heater worked as well as it did, "they put that stuff in you without asking, so they don't get a say in taking it back!"

And moody robots be danged!

That said and thought, she strode proudly home through the snowstorm, capsule cradled protectively in her arms.

End of 8th Flash

A/N: Despite this being a parody of so many different anime, I honestly kind of want to see this expanded into a full-length story.
