Chapter 9; Comfort
Aros POV;
There were many things on the list that needed to be bought for Bellas comfort. However even if the cost is great, it didn't matter as her comfort was our main priority. I looked at the list in my hands and thought of a few extra surprises. Bella does deserve the world and more after the hell Edward put her through. Just the thought of that asshole makes me want to rip his head off. "Cauis I think we need to split the list, so I think making several of the guard and you into town to purchase the items on the list. However me and Alec, Felix and Marcus will stay behind and protect the plane!" I explained. "Of course Aro, that is a good idea. Splitting up does have its risks but for once I agree." Cauis replied. As we dwelled on the risks and the pros the remaining guard equipped themselves in human clothing. Cauis was rocking a designer tracksuit. Honestly seeing my brother in human clothes always makes me laugh.
As they left for the town, I went to check in on Bella and Marcus. They were both snuggled up together asleep. Seeing the relaxing scene made me feel the comfort of a true mate. The warmth of my ancient heart begging to feel like a fire from within. I am happy to see my brother so relaxed. Its been many centuries and he needed the rest badly. Vampires only tend to relax fully around their true mates. This can also leave them vulnerable to those who wish to cause harm.
Cauis POV
I looked at the list infront of me and it was full of snacks and comfy clothing ideas. I sent Jane to get the snacks as she loves human food and snacks. I sent Demetri to grab every possible type of fluffy blankets, clothes and lots of things to help the humans periods. I was in charge of getting gaming equipment, a new phone and other accessories that the human would need to feel more at home. The one thing about being a vampire is we dont bring much luggage, so we can spoil our human to our hearts content without risking going over the weight limit. Honestly just buying things for our human princess makes me feel so warm inside. It gives me alot of hope that these feelings will be permanent.
