Overview: When compared to the Imperial Air Force and the Imperial Navy or other military superpowers for that matter, the Imperial Army of the Shogunate of Uma is lacking a bit in fields of technology such as tanks, but makes up for it in discipline and ferocity in battle. Their rise over the decades as an industrial power makes them a powerful force.

Standard Uniform: The uniform of the Imperial Soldier is a mix of the old, and the modern. Soldiers wear the M1904 Khaki Uniform with the 'Sakura' Steel Helmet in battle or on the frontline, and the Type 45 Olive Service Cap when on leave. An Imperial Soldier carries a rifle, a bayonet, a Type 98 Entrenching Tool, a mess kit, and the Type 99 Backpack.
Rations: Unlike Equestrian Ponies, Umanese Ponies have no qualms about eating meat. Imperial Pony-Soldiers rations include 660g of rice, 209g of barley, 209g of meat (either raw or canned which can include squid or tuna), 600g of vegetables (can include bean sprouts, cabbage, or beans), 60g of pickles, and onigiri packs and beer or sake for morale.

Overview: Another rising power in the Far East, but with the anticipation of Princess Celestia setting her sights on invading both the Kingdom of Gwangmu, and the Shogunate of Uma, they went to the Empress of Uma to ask for military aid. What the Ponies of Uma got in return were able-bodied fighting griffons ready to fight, and to die for their lands
