It been a month since Hinata been living with Obito. There had been some heated arguments mostly about morals because he had her practicing on cadavers because she learned so little about actually doing heart surgeries. When she was at Konoha the only major surgeries she ever did were head traumas and fractures. But when he felt she was ready to be practicing on someone who was alive, she completely refuse.
"Because it is utter unethically and immoral. I took a oath as a medical nin not to cause unnecessary harm to my patients," Hinata shivered in the background because she absolutely hated being in his lab. With all the Uchiha eyes feel like they were judging her and just having horrible memories of being psychologically tortured here.
"But I'm your patient," he said with pouty lips as she made a funny face.
"Maybe you should contact Orochimaru because kidnapping and experimenting on people is more his thing," Hinata said cut to the point.
"Luckily he is dead all thanks to Sasuke or I would have killed him myself for betraying Akatsuki," Obito said randomly itching the bottom of his chin.
"What did he do?" she was honestly curious stepping closer to him.
"Now Hinata don't change the subject,"
"I'm not letting you kidnap innocent people just so you can see if I'm successful at cardiac transplanting!" Hinata put her hands at her hips. She was not ready even with the intense studying she had done within this month and she not want to accidentally or purposely kill people. It wasn't even worth it, even if it was for medical experience and she already felt corrupted for not questioning where the cadavers came from.
"Why are you rushing this process so much lately?"
"Because I can't afford to push back Madara's will any farther," he said ominously.
"What do you mean?" she cupped his cheek so that he could look her in her eyes as she mouthed Zetsu's name. Hinata met the plant-based man once with Obito and he later explain to her that Zetsu was more of his handler to ensure Madara's plans go though no matter what.
"I will be going to the Kage summit with Sasuke and his little crew," Obito was trying to be transparent to her, but he still not tell her about Madara's ultimate grand plan he had for the world.
"Do I even want to know why?" she asked feeling her breath becoming shallow. Hinata wasn't even allowed to engage with Sasuke ever since she learned that he was coming by the lair. At first she thought it was because of Obito's jealous tendency, but he corrected her by mentioning that Sasuke did not take revealing the true about the Uchiha Massacre very well and that he became mentally unstable over it.
"No and you shouldn't ask anymore questions about this," hoping she took the hint and dropped it so he didn't have to hurt her feelings.
"But," Hinata paused nervously letting her hand fall from him.
"Are you just going to follow his orders blindly?" she replied disappointed in his actions so far, because ever since she mention that his mentor tricked him. The rouge nin became real silent and dismissive about how he felt in the matter.
Suddenly Obito's hand was on the back of her head placing his lip on her forehead and whispered ever so slightly.
"Time and opportunity..." Then kissed her again on her lips before moving away.
"Now be Tobi's good girl while he is gone for a few days!" he alerted to indicate to her that someone was nearby possibly listening. Just like clockwork Zetsu enter the lab.
"Just please don't get into too much trouble or hurt any my friends," Hinata said briskly and courtesy nodded at Zetsu hating getting interrupt like this, but she was determined to get to the bottom of this when he got back even if she had to interrogate him.
"Uh huh," he hummed as he watched her leave the lab completely so they can get down to Akatsuki business.
"You know you've could have let her stay. Sooner than later she going have to join because we are low on members," the white part of Zetsu spoke chipper.
"Yes, well that is why I called you because I need you two to split apart so that black Zetsu can go pinpoint Kisame's location so I can convince him to come back,"
"And what would my other half be doing?" black Zetsu said not too convinced on the splitting apart.
"With me of course I need him to make spores to ensure I'm not attacked by all five Kages and their bodyguards when I'm making my announcements," he worded carefully with a poker face. All the while in the back of his mind all he could think about was Rin and finding out the truth if she really was setup.
"Very well I will contact you as soon as I have information on Kisame's whereabouts," no longer one, but two Zetsu.
"But remember Obito that Hinata will need to tribute to Akatsuki in some ways. She can't just be for your comfort or your pleasure," knowing this was more of a warning from the essence of Madara. Obito merely nodded playing the role as the mantra rang more clearer inside his head with black Zetsu sinking into the ground and disappearing.
"Time and opportunity..."
Later on that evening Naruto was lay on a tatami mat unable to sleep, Kakashi and Yamato were currently station at a Inn in the Land of Iron. It felt like all he could think about was Sasuke or Hinata, but when he thought of Hinata it torn him up inside. A month had went by and still nothing on her whereabouts. It was like she disappeared off the face of the earth. But then again he remember when he had a spiritual conversation with his dad back when he almost lost control of himself. That masked man was actually Madara Uchiha and the reason why so many lives were destroyed.
Sasuke was now deemed a criminal because he supposedly caused Killer Bee's death. Everyone who was from Kumogakure wanting his head on a spike, and it was the main reason they came to the land of Iron because the Kage summit was being held here. Naruto would beg and plead to spare Sasuke's life to all the Kages if he had to.
"Let's have a chat Uzumaki Naruto," the mask nin said getting tired of waiting for him to notice that he was sitting on his balcony railing.
"You bastard!" he yelled unwilling to be taken by surprise by him and had a shadow clone help him create a rasengan. It explosion against the wall when he try to slam it on to the Akatsuki leader. In a instant he was coiled up from legs to arms by Yamato's branches with Naruto behind wooden bars in order to separate them.
Obito stood still not feeling any real threat even with Kakashi standing behind him with his chidori near his shoulder.
"You didn't think we let you take Naruto so easily did you?"
"I don't know you let me snatch Hinata so easily in front of yours eyes last time," he chuckled at his choice of words.
"Don't you dare mention her name! Give her back, she doesn't belong to you!" he shouted slamming his hands against the bars.
"Oh you would be surprised especially with all of things I did to her," Obito cruelly imply making them think the worst.
"Watch your mouth or I will fry your brain!" Kakashi said in disgusted with this man as he lifted his chidori dangerous close to his ear. Knowing for a fact this masked man had to be the person who Neji was trying to warn him about. He completely regretted for not taking Hinata's harassment serious enough.
"Do it and you will never find her!" he replied annoyed with the noise of thousand birds chirping in his ear.
"But I didn't come here to fight because I just want talk to you about Sasuke,"
Seeing now that he was holding their attention and began regaling a tale about the Uchiha clan, the true about Itachi and how Sasuke wanted vengeance because of it. There was a long silence after he was done with his story and the copy nin could tell it was really effecting Naruto.
"And why should we even believe anything you say Madara because for all we know you could be saying nothing, but lies," Kakashi narrowed his eyes.
"You will see soon," he said with contempt,but did noticed that his chidori was completely gone from his hand as the snow began to fall.
"I can't let you manipulated Sasuke into your pawn and I will beat the living shit out of you in order to get Hinata back!" Naruto said feeling the rage just filling his vein as he began shaking the bars in front of him. Yamato was trying to calm him down seeing he was moments away for him into letting the Kyūbi from taking over.
"Good luck with that," Obito antagonized with his head cocked to the side. The masked man saw that Kakashi was become too preoccupied with Kyūbi container and took as the perfect moment to vanish out of thin air.
