bleuxe AN: wrote this on my Vacation enjoy, now back to work I go. I don't own Naruto

Two hooded figures holding hands strolling through Yugakure's empty streets with a purpose. It was almost midnight and it was to time to accomplish their plan. Hinata halted seeing a wanted poster of Obito as it said dead or alive.

"I would say they captured my good side," he commented lightly.

"The only side they could have gotten if it wasn't for your mask," she frowned before being pulled back toward the hospital.

"Soon none of that will matter because once the surgery is over with...we can live our lives free of the shinobi world," Obito said already seeing their future.

Hinata was trying to imagine what he meant when he said that. So many things was already whirling in her head about just doing a perfect heart transplant that she didn't really think about life after his recovery. They would have to live their lives forever in hiding and she was wondering how to mentally prepare herself for that.

"I don't think I keep living like that I had enough of that when I was spy. What about our future children if we ever have any?" Hinata blushed at what their kids might look like and how would they ever be able to hid their Uchiha or Hyūga traits from the world.

"I know it is not ideal to you now, but it is what is best for the both of us," he said as if he knew what she was thinking.

"Let's figure out it when we get there Obito because tonight we got more important matters that I need to concentrate on," she said distracted because now she couldn't stop thinking about what types family dynamics would they have.

In the alleyway was where he told her to wait as he placed a powerful of genjutsu over the area. She didn't wait long because he was already back telling her that the deed was done. When they made to the entrance of the hospital a nurse greeted them with a wheelchair as the rouge nin plopped in it.

The nurse's eyes were so dull and glossed over it looked like she was dead standing up.

"Try not to think about it too much," he promised already to release everyone afterwards as she merely nodded.

"You got this," was the last thing he said before she roll him away. Hinata toward the staff changing room to get into some blue scrubs as she left her old clothes in a empty locker.

Hinata was trying not to be nervous about this procedure as she washing her hands up to her elbows, but her studies came so clear along with her practice work. She was slowly becoming confident the closer she got to the operation room.

Walking down a tunnel connecting to the room where Obito was under anesthesia. The lights flickering slightly is when she noticed a blood smear fingerprints one side of the wall making her stagger step. Her eyes dropped to the floor seeing droplets of more blood on the floor leading to the operation room. Making her run at this point as the doors swung open to discover the head surgeon laying on the ground.

Seeing as well as the nurses were on the ground all of them looked blue in the face with their veins showing. Death by poison as she rushed over to a shirtless Obito on the table turning her byakugan on to check his vitals. Hinata let out a breath because he was perfectly fine and untouched just under anesthesia with a breath mask on his face.

She knew Obito wouldn't sabotage his own heart surgery, it was a sneak attack someone was expecting them. The medical instruments were all set up everyone was already in their protective gear expected the head surgeon. From her analysis he was poisoned before he entered the room because of the blood on the outside of the room and his neck look like puncture wounds like he was bitten by a snake?

"Hello Hinata it has been a long time... I would say since the chūnin exams?" that voice literally made her not want to believe how extremely vulnerable situation that they were in. Instantly she turn around being very protective over Obito to face the most deadliest medical nin in the world.

"How?! Why?!" she how feel the fear setting in with her firm fighting stance.

"The how is. Well it is quite easy to hid in your blind spot I'm afraid," Kabuto said smugly pushing his glasses up.

"But the genjutsu! When there is no way you could have gotten pass that!" she knew Obito was extremely meticulous when it came to a detail like that.

"The why is more interesting though," he completely ignored her question.

Flashback to a few days back

"I have to say I haven't been sneak up on since I was child," Kabuto was annoyed at the creature that came out of the shadows of the night. Especially since he was now a snake sage and no one should be able to surprise him like this.

"I've noticed that you have been lurking around Mountains Graveyard lately,"

"I see and your here to stop me?" Kabuto said speculating he was here on Madara's request.

"No, actually I'm here to tell you that the person you are looking for is not here, but I know where you can find him," Black Zetsu spoke calculatingly because he wasn't going to let Obito slip from his fingers so easily and proposed a deal with Kabuto.

Flashback over

"But maybe I should keep the why to myself," he licked his lips with a crazed grin. He swung his arms making two giant white snakes come slithering out of his sleeves while she ran full force toward him to attack. Instantly the snakes lifted her up trapping her body in between them in mid air constricting her movements.

"Stay away from him!" Hinata yelled never feeling as helpless as she did now.

"You know the more you squirm the more you become prey for my snakes," Kabuto grab a IV full of an unknown solution to her from a cabinet, hanging it on to a metal pole and attaching a long sterile tube to it.

"P-Please don't! It will kill him!"

She felt like couldn't breath or think straight watching in horror as the snake sage flicked the needle causing the unknown liquid to drip out.

"It could if I wasn't an expert in this field, but don't worry I'm just putting him in a medical induce coma for now," he knew this man was far too dangerous to be dealing with awake.

"NO!" Hinata screamed unable to break free failing to stop him as he injected intravenous into Obito's arm who merely twitched in his sleep.

Something in her mind just snap and she began to spew how was going to kill him when he let her out and how Obito was going to kill him when he did wake up. She could stop the tears from rushing out because she was so anger and didn't care how tight the serpents were squeezing her. Hinata refuse to let up knowing if she could just graze Kabuto in the right spot with the combine of her byakugan and medical ninjutsu she could paralyze him for life.

"My my my this Uchiha must have really screwed with your head or maybe the rumors of you being capture by this man are false?" Kabuto said with complete glee psychoanalysis every range of emotions she was going through right now.

The blue kunoichi refused to answer, she was done talking and done being his test subject feeling her limps going numb from the pressure.

"How about this Hinata? A trade this Uchiha for another Uchiha...Sasuke Uchiha to be specific,"

She could do nothing, but raise her eyebrows in disgust because he was acted like this was a fair choice knowing Sasuke could be imprisoned somewhere unreachable to her. She contemplated various ways to destroy Kabuto for ruining the life her and Obito were suppose to having together. Hoping and praying whatever drugs that were in his system were weak enough for him to fight it off.

"Wake up Obito Please Wake up!" Hinata pleaded desperately, but silently to his sleeping form.
