The Jūbi was a whole different monster to take control of. It was nothing like the Kyūbi or when Obito was controlling the other tailed beasts. It was awkward to having a umbilical cord attached the back his neck coursing raw power in his veins, it was just unbelievable. He hated to omit this, but he wouldn't even be control the Jūbi without Madara.

"You just want to test out the Jūbi," Obito observed his mentor because he was like a child in a candy store.

"It was your impatience that brought us to this moment Obito...so we need to learn what this beast can really do!" Madara reveled in the fear of their enemies eyes down below.

It was a battle with two colossal tailed beasts against one titan Jūbi changing the terrain around them forever. As the battle wore on the rouge nin began to see how Naruto operated and his core believes. Obito saw the similarities within himself, well before he lost his way only to find it when it was too late.

"So stupidly idealistic and believe that he can change shinobi as a whole," he couldn't understand how Nagato let these ideals break him.

Naruto seemed to finally lose his Kyūbi chakra mode, wobbly on his feet and worn out. Using his sage mode he saw how astronomically impossible this was, but still he would not give up. That rouge nin still had Hinata because he put her in his Kamui before Jūbi broke free.

"Naruto making more clones will only spent your chakra thinner than it already is!" Kakashi warned seeing how he was creating hands signs for shadow clones. The silver nin wished their was more he could do against Madara or at least Obito.

"What other choice do I have?" Naruto said refusing to back down. Seeing how their crew were worse for wear compared their opponents who barely had a scratch on them.

"As forbidden as that technique is and the strength in numbers that it gives you. It still shows what a one trick pony you really are? You and your motley crew!" Madara crossed his arms tired of the repetitiveness of his fighting style.

"M-Motley crew huh?" he mumbled clearly confused.

"You were right Obito...he is incompetent,"

"Completely,"

"You know what! Old men who are dead or those were supposedly dead shouldn't have a say on how the world should be!" Naruto yelled hotly at them. He was beyond angry to the point where he couldn't even think straight.

"You took my parents from me! Manipulated students of Jiraiya-sensei to betray and kill him. Had loved ones turn their backs on me. I will never listen you or your demands!" directing all his hatred at Obito now because to him, he was the main faction in all of this.

The rouge nin had no respond because the conversation was going no where and honestly had no explanation for him. Jūbi merely shot a laser beam like cannon out. Obito felt something try to over take him and made him look over his shoulder to see a shadow.

"Damn it, it was only a few seconds and pure luck we was able to change it projector of the blast," Shikamaru breathed a sigh of relief as Ino nodded because she barely got a grip when using her mind transfer jutsu.

"Not much of a motley crew now!" Naruto smirked with a mass crowd of almost every diversion in the Allied Shinobi force appeared behind him.

Madara just looked towards the sky and was probing for the exact location. The Jūbi began erratically launching blasts in the air and touching down in far out locations like atomic bombs. he knew what his mentor was searching for and that was the Allied Shinobi force headquarters. Obito couldn't help, but to feel trepidation because he didn't know if they would accidentally strike down Amegakure trying to it hit. The Jūbi was finally able decimated the target on the fifth try.

Shikamaru just felt numb inside from his father's final plan as Ino's tears poured down her face hearing those final words knowing their fathers were gone. Naruto heard Shikaku's voice inside his head. He didn't want to believe that they were able to be wiped out like that. Every single person in the Allied Shinobi force willingly followed Shikaku's final words and worked in the most coordinated plan the world has ever seen. Despite their efforts they were no match against the Jūbi combined with the Uchiha men controlling it.

It was now was Obito time to test this beast and if there one thing he was a master of it was a psychological warfare and breaking his enemy. After Jūbi climbed out of the trenches that battalion was trying to buried them alive in. He pulled the blue haired kunoichi from out his Kamui. She could barely stand on her own and extremely pale from blood loss.

"W-What are you doing?" Naruto asked having knots in his stomach.

"You refused my offer earlier and you won't listen! Like the typical shinobi all you will understand is violence!" Obito stated standing behind the fake.

"Hinata has nothing to do with this! Just let her go please!" he pleaded not knowing what else to say or do because he just wanted her back.

"Wrong...she has everything do this,"

The rouge nin put his palm on the small of her back stabbing her spine with his wood release. She lose all feeling in her legs and fell off the edge of the Jūbi's head. To Naruto everything seemed to move at slow motion as he ran as fast as he could. All he had to do is catch her and keep her from hitting the ground. Obito only put his two fingers up and the wooden spike inside her bloomed out of her like a pin cushion raining blood on to the blonde nin.

"Now do you understand what this world has to offer!" Obito said in pure hostility because he hated that he had to slaughter Hinata's image like that.

Hated seeing the Kyūbi container holding in her in his arms because it was too reminiscent of what had happened to him. Obito wanted the images and the memories of his life to blotch out as he raised his hand making the Jūbi raised it hand. Wooden spikes blotched out the night sky showering down on to anyone who was in the way and left a bloody thorny mess in it wake.

Sakura was lucky to be close to Naruto and lift a huge enough stone like a wall to block the spikes from hitting them. He blinked his eyes several times, but his eyes wouldn't stop watering because she was dying in his arms.

"S-Sakura y-you have to help her!" he said brokenly holding her regardless of the spikes stabbing and hurting him.

"Naruto...Hinata is mortally wounded even if I pulled out one of the spikes. It will cause more damage than help," it pained the pink kunoichi to this said as she kept the rock held steady.

The barrage finally ended was when Naruto looked around at all the different shinobi and kunoichi from every nation skewer to the dirt dead. He looked back at his friend since he knew since childhood as she coughed up more blood. Her lips moved for the final time to said.

"W-Who-o a-are y-you?"

Brokenhearted Naruto didn't think he would ever recover from this. He couldn't protect Hinata and not just her, but he couldn't protect anyone.
