AN bleuxe: this chapter made me feel teary eyed writing because it was a lot. So please enjoy! this is thinking and dreams.

Few days later back at Amekagure

Hinata still had hope after all those weeks of finding out about Obito's death. She didn't want to believe that he was gone so she didn't. She couldn't even begun to think about stress or any depressing thoughts because of the precious baby growing in her womb. Everything she did she had to think of her baby's health. Reading all types of maternity books making her wished she worked more at Konoha's maternity ward.

All the weird food cravings Hinata was having too. Konan's assistants were busy going back and forth to the grocery store it always made her feel bad not wanting to overwork them. Still there were some days that all she could think about was Obito it would hurt her heart. If he was really gone and how was she suppose to cope with that and what was she suppose to say to her child, when he or she gotten older?

"No...stop remember don't get upset it won't help anything anyways!" Hinata scolded herself as tears threat to spill from her eyes.

Suddenly a flying paper crane landed in her open palms. Knowing it was from Konan and she always admire her origami skills. Careful she pulled the crane apart to read the note that the paper user might have scribe in it. In elegant cursive writing Konan asked to her to met at the entrance of Ame's gate and to not be alarmed, but there was untended guests demanding her presence. Hinata rose from her seat and hurried out of Pein's tower. It was sprinkling outside and sun was out creating a beautiful rainbow in the sky. Making to the gates instantly she was recognized by her teammates and her cousin.

"Hinata!" they said in unison.

Neji was the first to hug her and actually broke down crying. It overwhelmed her that she also started crying because she knew Neji to be a very reserved shinobi and knew her disappearance hurt him the most. Then the byukagan princess was enveloped in more warmth as Kiba and Shino join in as a group hug as Akamaru nuzzled her hidden baby bump.

"As you can see she is alive and well," Konan explained to Kakashi who merely frowned.

"Alive yes, but well. I'm not so sure about that..." Kakashi eyed her belly seeing another chakra signature with his sharingan.

"Trust me I had nothing to do that," the paper user lips twitched into a smirk while her two bodyguards stood close to her.

"Obito..." he sighed seeing this was going to get more complex thanks to his old friend.

Hinata perked her head up from Kakashi saying his name.

"I-Is he alive?"

"Yes," the copy nin saw her eyes light up with joy and hope.

Neji looked grimly at his cousin now remember what the Hokage said a few days ago and it was one of the reasons why they were here. They were on a mission to see if Obito really hidden Hinata at the Rain village. It was a search and rescue mission. Honesty he thought they would be entering another trap. But Kiba and Kakashi confirmed it was truly Hinata's scent before she exited out the gate.

"Can I speak with you Lady Hinata in private," he said sternly as they parted from their hug.

"Really Neji...I get it that is she your family and everything, but can't this wait because we just found her!" Kiba said irritated because he missed her just as much.

"No it can't wait!" Neji snapped glaring daggers at dog boy.

"Kiba and Shino please this will only take a minute," she said hoped to keep them from fighting.

The blue kunoichi and her cousin moved but, not really an earshot away from everyone. Suddenly Neji turned on his byakugan seeing with his own eyes. He thought she felt unusually round when he hugged her, but her baggy jacket couldn't cover up this fact.

"Hinata please tell me this is some kind of joke," he ask feeling like he was going to faint.

"My unborn child is very much real and before you ask yes the father is Obito Uchiha," Hinata answered as calm as possible holding her hands together.

"That disgusting bastard I'll kill him myself how dare he violate-"

"First of all my dear cousin he didn't force himself on me," she wanted to make that crystal clear.

"We both were willing and consenting adults when we engaging in those... activities. I will also not allow you to kill the man I love," Hinata finished steely as she was being as PG as she could be with her cousin.

"You love him?!" Neji looked at her like she had two heads unable to think straight.

"Yes and to know that Obito is alive fills my heart with a happiness that I can not describe," the byakugan princess felt so breathless not caring who was listening.

Kakashi could tell by her speech and face expression that she was madly in love. Somehow he felt relieved because he knew Obito felt the same way.

"Hinata I'm guessing you would like to go back Konoha with them since that is where he is?" Konan asked as she nodded red in the face.

"Then I want you to take care of yourself and stay safe," as a beautiful bouquet of paper roses form from out her body. She made one for Naruto after Nagato died and thought why not again, but for her new friend this time.

"Thank you Konan and sorry you had to see me at my lowest," Hinata took the bouquet, but also surprising the Amekage with a hug.

"Think nothing of it. Hopefully this won't be the last time we see each other," Konan pat the soon to be mother's head.

The trek back to Konoha was not as awkward as it could have been for Hinata. Kiba and Shino would constantly making sure if she was fine, even Akumaru would comfort her by sleeping next to her at night. Kakashi would occasionally make small talk with her here and there. It was Neji who remained silent because he didn't know how to approach her and just felt like he failed her somehow. Especially since she was in love with that despicable man.

"Want to tell you something Hinata," Kakashi commented since they were getting close to home now.

"Yes Kakashi what is it?" she immediately looked at him.

"Obito has barricaded himself in the interrogation tower and has made it impossible for anyone to entering it," as she gasped.

"Not only that, but he is now the Jūbi's jinchūriki. He is an all powerful being and I know now your the only one able to get through to him,"

"I-I understand,"

"Do you lady Hinata!" Neji said in disbelief of what Kakashi was asking her to do.

"Did you see what a cruel and merciless man he was on the battlefield? Or how about when he made everyone watched as he brutally killed a henge woman who looked just like you!" Hinata was speechless and looked incredibly sad from that information.

"Man stop it already!" Kiba snapped as Akumaru barked angrily.

"Enough..." Shino said even sounded upset.

"It is the truth and if you decide that you still love that man. Then you needed to know this," Neji refused to stay and listen to her this time. He saw her more than just his cousin, but as his sister. He took off running ahead of them because what she was doing would not only cost her life, but his future niece's or nephew's life.

"Neji please!" Hinata called out to him because she really did value him and didn't want to hurt him. But Kakashi put his hand to shoulder to stop her from going after him.

"Leave him be. It going to take him sometime to process all of this," the silver nin said knowing family drama would only get worse.

When they did made to the Hokage's office Neji was finishing up his report to Tsunade.

"Thank you Neji, Everyone dismissed besides Hinata!" The fifth suddenly ordered with her arms crossed.

"What the hell did you say to her!" Kiba hissed to her cousin who completely ignored him.

"Neji..." Hinata reached out and held on to his hand hoping he didn't hate her like he did when they were children.

"Hinata I love you, but I will never accept that mass murder I'm sorry..." he squeezed her hand unable to look at her in the eyes and then left the room.

Everyone left except the Hokage who didn't look very happy with her as the byakugan princess visibly gulped nervously.

"So how far along are you?" Tsunade was trying to keep her anger in check. Especially now that she knew about her pregnancy.

"About eight weeks," she said trying not to have her voice crack.

"I see, almost the entire time you've been kidnapped...you both work fast,"

"I-It wasn't plann-"

"No children are never really planned in the shinobi world..." she interrupted her.

"Sakura!" the fifth suddenly roared noticing her eavesdropping outside her office.

"Y-Yes Lady Tsunade," the pink kunoichi stammered opening the door.

"Escort her to the interrogation tower now! Hinata, I will figure out your punishment after you deal with the problem we are having with Obito!" Tsunade wanted her out of her face at the moment.

"Yes!" Hinata quickly bowed and followed Sakura.

They hopped from roof top to roof top in silence. Sakura wasn't really angry or disgusted in Hinata, just mostly disappointed.

"Are you ok?" Sakura was the first to break the silence.

"Yes, it just all our lies finally caught up to us," she said somberly taking full responsibility from everything that has happened.

They made it to tower where Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke and Ibiki stood outside of because there was a black barrier at the entrance preventing anyone from going inside.

"So the barrier expanded since I've been gone?" Kakashi noticed it no longer just the jail cell.

"Thanks to Naruto pissing off Obito even further," Sasuke said aggravated that they couldn't get a handle on the situation.

"How was I supposed to know that trying to talk Jūbi through Kurama telepathically wasn't going to work!" he groaned because at the time it was the only solution they had. He didn't know that the Jūbi wouldn't have anything intelligent to say and would just roar at him.

That is when everyone noticed Hinata's presence and it gotten real quiet. Kakashi updated them all of what had happened on his mission. Naruto was the first and only one to hug her, even still after everything.

"B-But I betrayed you...all of you," she omitted wondering how anyone could forgive her. Her teammates and especially Naruto.

"Yeah you did, but I'm still happy to see you alive," he said quickly removing himself from her to stand next to Sakura to hold her hand.

The pink kunoichi smiled and squeezed his hand because she will always love how forgiving and caring her boyfriend was. That is when Hinata realizes that they were a couple and honestly couldn't be more happier for them.

"I'm glad Sakura finally realized Naruto's crush for her,"

"You think you can get a hold of him," Kakashi reminded her of why she was here in the first place.

"Yes," Hinata nodded moving next to the barrier and activating her byakugan. She couldn't see through it like she thought she was going to be able to.

"The truth seeking orbs are impossible to penetrate and they absorb any ninjutsu or taijutsu you throw at," Sasuke said with his arms crossed. He did not trust her nor was he as forgiving as his sappy teammates. He still held a grudge against the blue kunoichi since the whole prison incident.

"I see, but maybe if he knew I was actually here," she said mostly to herself. She strike the barrier with her gentle fist style and immediately it opened up. Before Hinata she was swallowed up by the barrier itself. Before she knew it was being lifted up in the arms of Obito himself.

"My rose is that really you!" he hoped he wasn't having any sort of hallucination letting her feet touch the ground again.

The lights in the hallway flickered as she stared in his heterchromia eyes and took in his total different appearance. She touched one of his horns before cupping his cheek.

"If this appearance scares you I can change it back my normal self...this is just my final form and-" his voice died in his throat as her tears flowed freely from her eyes.

"H-How could you l-leave me behind? Don't you know how much I need you? I love you so don't ever do that again!" Hinata cried out bitterly unable to control her emotions anymore.

Obito felt like his heart was going to burst because he swore up and down that she deserved better. Between kisses and tears how sorry he was and that he did it to protect her. He paused because his eyes sensed another chakra signature in her.

"Your having my child," was all he could utter as his hand rested on her small baby bump.

"Yes my only hope was that you would know," she felt nervous unsure how he would take the news.

Instantly Obito lifted a surprised Hinata back into his arms. He began merrily spinning her around with the most brightest and wondrous smile she ever seen him have. Everything in that moment took away any sorrow they felt when they were apart.
