Lorelai went back into the family room where the other four were.

"Who was that mean man?" Jack asked

"Jack. I told you not to worry about it." Aaron told the young boy

"But he was scary." Jack said

"And I am taking the steps to make sure he doesn't bother us again okay?" Lorelai said

Jack nodded. He went off to change out of his itchy fancy clothes.

Lorelai sat on the couch next to Rebecca. She felt three pairs of eyes on her, she sighed.

"Just ask your questions." Lorelai said

"Are you okay?" Aaron asked first

"If you are asking if he hurt me physically. No, he didn't. If you are asking if this is bringing back memories I want to forget than yes it is and no I am not okay." She said

Aaron nodded

"Spencer is going to look into a restraining order against him. I know I should have told you about the emails. So just go ahead and lecture me. Just get it over with as I am exhausted." She said

Rebecca and Rachel looked at each other and quickly left the room.

"I'm not going to lecture you." Aaron said. "You have already been lectured by Spencer I am sure. And I overheard what you said to David. You are an adult now and I need to trust your judgement. I know you didn't expect this to happen. That man is your history. And I would have helped if you had asked but I am going to let you handle things like this on your own until you ask for me help." He told her

Lorelai nodded. "I knew you would help if I asked. I just thought I was handling it fine on my own."

Aaron nodded. "I understand."

"I love you dad. I'm sorry my drama caused an issue on Thanksgiving." She said

"Not your fault Lorelai." He told her

"I know. But it is my drama. And I know it scared Jack and I'm sure Kelsey and Henry too." She said

"JJ and Penny kept them in here. They didn't hear much." Aaron assured her

"Well, they obviously heard the screaming he did." Lorelai said

"I am sure they will be fine. JJ and Will, will make sure their kids are okay and I will make sure Jack is okay." He assured her

Lorelai nodded. "Okay." She went and made her tea and relaxed for a bit before heading upstairs where Rebecca was sitting up doing some typing on her computer.

Rebecca looked up. "Well, that was. Interesting."

Lorelai flopped on her bed and looked up at the ceiling. "And you wish you had my life." She said with a smirk.

Rebecca laughed. "Okay. Well, I guess your life isn't as perfect as I thought. But you have an amazing family. The closest to a perfect boyfriend any girl could ask for and an amazing career. I would say that outweighs at least some of the drama."

Lorelai nodded. "You will have an amazing career too. You are working on it. And you are a part of this family too."

Rebecca smiled. "Thanks, but I don't know if being a lawyer is right for me. I'm failing out of collage."

"I thought you were doing okay." Lorelai said

"Yea…I lied." Rebecca said

"Since when can you lie to me?" Lorelai asked with a smirk

"Since you taught me how to lie to Jessica. We all used those tools against you too." Rebecca said with a smirk.

"What?!" Lorelai said. "Are you serious?" She started to laugh. "I guess that's my own fault. But those tools don't work on everyone. My dad. Not a chance I can't lie to him if he is looking at me. Only over text have I ever been able to lie to him." She said

Rebecca laughed

"Anyways I noticed your phone kept buzzing all day whose so desperate to get in contact with you?" Lorelai asked

"My ex. He's begging me to forgive him and come back." Rebecca said

"What did he do that made you break up with him?" Lorelai asked

Rebecca sighed. "He's an alcoholic which I tried to help him get help but turns out he was lying to me not doing what he said he would do and sometimes when he drinks he gets mean…."

"Mean? Verbally or physically?" Lorelai asked sitting up and looking at her friend

"Mostly verbally. The last straw was when he threw me against a wall Thursday night when I called him out on the lying." Rebecca said in tears.

Lorelai wrapped her in a hug. "I'm so sorry."

Rebecca sobbed for a few minutes before calming down.

"Do you want me to do something about this?" Lorelai asked her

"I just want him to leave me alone." Rebecca said

Lorelai nodded. "I can make that happen."

"How?" Rebecca asked

"Well, there are a few ways I can do that. I can text him from your phone telling him to leave you alone or I will use the full force of the FBI to bring him down. Or I can help you get a restraining order I mean I'm already getting one so what's one more. I can tell my team and they can go there and scare him really good." Lorelai said with a small smile

Rebecca giggled at the last one.

"It's a little more complicated than that… I live with the guy." She said

"Well than move out? You get money from the government that should cover rent and such. It did before. And your working part time." Lorelai pointed out

"Yeah… About that. The money. Um." Rebecca said

"What?" Lorelai asked

"He convinced me to have the checks go into his account and that he would handle all the money. And he convinced me to quit my job and focus on school…" Rebecca said

"So financial abuse as well." Lorelai said. "You can go online and changed the account for the cheques right?" Lorelai asked

Rebecca nodded.

"Go do that. Right now." Lorelai told her

Rebecca sat up and did that. It took about half-an-hour. "Done." She said

Lorelai smiled. "Good. Step one done."

Rebecca smiled a bit

"Next what do you want to do to keep him away?" Lorelai asked

Rebecca sighed. "How many people are you going to have to tell about the restraining order?" She asked

"Only one. And you can pick which ever member of the team." Lorelai told her

"Which one is less likely to go kill him?" Rebecca asked

Lorelai chuckled. "I dunno. They all care about you so they all would want to protect you. But I will tell them just a restraining order. Unless he breaks it." Lorelai said

"Who do you trust not to tell everyone?" Rebecca asked

"None of them will say anything if I ask them not to." Lorelai answered

Rebecca nodded. "I don't care who than." She told her

Lorelai nodded. "I have to ask when he threw you against the wall. Did you hit your head?"

"Yeah. I went to the hospital no concussion. But its why I was so tired last night." Rebecca told her

Lorelai nodded. "Any injuries?"

Rebecca lifted up the sleeve of her sweater to show bruises. "From where he grabbed me. Both arms this is the worst one."

Lorelai hugged her again. "We will make sure he leaves you alone. I will tell Derek. He's kept an eye on all the kids from the foster home since day 1 and since you were one of them I think he is the best option."

Rebecca smiled and nodded.

"But lets get some sleep for now. Its late. We can deal with this tomorrow." Lorelai said as she got up and changed into her PJ's. Rebecca did the same and they both headed to bed.
