Lorelai was unarmed but she knew they were in serious danger. She screamed "Security!" as she got herself out of bed. "You need to put any weapons you have on the ground and get your hands behind your back." She said making she was standing between the man and Julianna. She also made sure she pulled the curtain between the two beds, so Jules didn't have to see anything. She would hear it but didn't have to see it

The man chuckled. "oh please. What are you going to do. I know who you are sure, but I know you are unarmed currently."

"I have no weapons true, but I have self defence training and trust me I will take you down." Lorelai said

He laughed. "You think that you can take me down? I might be worried. If you weren't hooked up to an IV. Sorry about that by the way. I was aiming to kill you all not just give you a concussion." The man said

Lorelai took a breathe where the hell was security. "What exactly do you want?" She asked

"I want her. My daughter." He said

Lorelai made a face. "Why is everyone saying she is their daughter?"

"On my order." He told her. "But she is in fact my biological daughter. I have proof of that." He said

"Okay, well even if that's true you really think that you will get very far with her?" She asked

"I have hid for twelve years. When I get my daughter back I will disappear again. Forever this time." Hernandez said

"Okay well lets say I let you take her now. There is a team of FBI agents who will never stop looking for you and I promise you that you are not getting passed me." Lorelai said

He smirked and walked towards her. Lorelai removed the IV from her wrist quickly ignoring the bleeding she knew she didn't have a choice and that she would be fine. She used her training and punched the man in the throat causing him to fall to the ground hard. "WE NEED HELP IN HERE." She screamed louder. "NOW!" She said

A couple nurses came in and called for security right away. Lorelai was holding her wrist where the IV had been. One of the nurse grabbed some gauze and a bandage and bandaged her wrist. The other nurse checked the man on the grounds pulse as security came in. Security and the nurses got him on to a stretcher and cuffed him before taking him to the lockdown ward of the hospital. A couple other nurses took over and made sure Lorelai got back in bed and checked in on Jules who was clearly very upset.

Lorelai got out of the bed. "Please Agent Hotchner please get back in bed." The nurse said

"You can call me Lorelai and I will in just a second." She said, she went over to the other bed. "Hey. Its okay. You're safe. No one is going to hurt you." She said taking her hand and squeezing it gently

Jules looked up at her tears in her eyes. "Is he my birth father?" She asked

"I don't know Jules. But I'm sure we will find out if he is." Lorelai told her

"Will I have to go live with him. He seems mean." Jules said

Lorelai took a breathe and shook her head. "He has done a lot of bad things he will be going to prison."

Jules nodded. "Good."

"You will be with David for now. If you have to be moved somewhere else eventually I will make sure it is somewhere safe." Lorelai told her.

Meanwhile a security officer called Hotch who sent Rossi and JJ to the hospital to handle things there.

When they got there JJ went to meet up with security and Rossi went to Lorelai and Jules room and found Lorelai standing next to Jules bed. "Have you been cleared Lorelai" he asked

Lorelai sighed. "No sir."

Rossi looked at the nurse. "Is she giving you a hard time?"

"She needs to get back into bed so we can get a new IV in her." The nurse said

"Lorelai. Now." He said sternly

Lorelai did as she was told. David went and took the little girls hand. "Hey are you okay?" he asked

She nodded.

"She was starting to hyper ventilate we had to give her something to calm her down." The doctor said

"That's okay." He said. He trusted that the doctors and nurses would do what was necessary to take care of the young girl. Slowly the little girl fell asleep. He turned his attention to Lorelai. Who now had a new IV in her arm and was laying in bed.

Lorelai noticed. "She was sobbing they couldn't calm her down I just was standing with her till she calmed down." She defended herself

David nodded. "Fine. But you need to take care of yourself too."

"I know. But in that moment my adrenaline was rushing I was okay." Lorelai said

David nodded again. "We are going to need your statement are you okay to do that?" he asked

Lorelai nodded.

David looked at the doctor and nurse in the room. "is she okay?" he asked

"She should be fine. We will run another MRI in a bit for now she should be fine to give a statement." The doctor said. The nurses left the room along with the doctor.

David looked at Lorelai. "So, what happened."

Lorelai gave her statement leaving nothing out.

Rossi listened and took down notes. "I still cant figure out how you always end up being the one in these situations." He said as she ended her statement

"I'm cursed." Lorelai told him

Rossi chuckled. "How about we just say bad luck."

"Sure. We can go with that." Lorelai said

"Do you really feel okay?" He asked

Lorelai nodded. "What's going on with Hernandez?"

"JJ is talking with security and his doctors we will go from there. I will make sure a DNA test is done." Rossi said

Lorelai nodded.

"You did the right thing." Rossi told her

"I know." She smiled a bit.

"Good." He said. "Now you get out of this bed before you are released again you -will be in trouble got it?"

Lorelai nodded. "Yes Sir."

The case came to an end. They had their most wanted person. There was a lot of paperwork to be done. The team all was working on it back at the station. Lorelai had another MRI done but thankfully it hadn't gotten worse after the takedown, and she was released. She decided to stay with Jules since Rossi was dealing with Hernandez in the lockdown ward.

Jules had woken up and the two of them were talking. A nurse came in. "We need to take more blood. And get a swab for the DNA test that has been court ordered." The nurse said

"A swab?" Jules asked

"They are just going to use a big cotton swab and rub in on the inside of your mouth. Doesn't hurt at all." Lorelai told her.

Jules agreed and they did the swab. "No more needles." Jules said

Lorelai took a breathe. "I know it can be a little scary, but they have to do it. You can hold my hand and squeeze it tight while they take the blood."

"No." Jules said

"Hey, look at me Jules." Lorelai said softly

Jules looked at her with sad eyes. "I know you're scared. I don't really like getting my blood taken either. But its important." Lorelai said

"NO!" Jules said

Lorelai sighed. "Sweetheart I don't want to have too but I will call David to come. Trust me you do not want him to be upset with you."

Jules continued to refuse.

Lorelai did what she knew she needed to and called David.

"Agent Rossi." He said

"Hey David. Jules needs to get blood taken the nurses and I can not get her to co-operate." Lorelai told him

"Okay. I'm on my way." Rossi said. He left the secure ward and went to her room.

"Hey Jules. I hear you're nervous about getting your blood taken. But you've got to do it. Here I will hold your hand and you can squeeze it." He said taking her hand on the opposite side to where the nurse was.

"NO!" Jules said. "I don't want to."

"Jules. You wont be able to get out of here till you are cleared they need to check your blood to make sure you are strong enough to leave." David said

"No!." She said again

"Julianna. You do not have a choice. You will co-operate." He said sternly

"NO!" she screamed.

David took a breathe and looked at the nurse. "Can you give us a few minutes please." He asked

The nurse nodded and left the room.

"I'm going to go, find. Something to do out of this room." Lorelai said leaving quickly

David looked at Julianna. "It think its time for me to tell you what are the expectations while you are staying with me." He said

Julianna looked at him.

"You will listen when I or an adult that you can trust tells you to do something. That includes, doctors, nurses, and Lorelai as well as other people I will introduce you to. They all just want you to get better, and the doctors need your blood to make sure you are." He told her

"What happens if I don't?" Jules asked

"That you will be in trouble." He told her. He explained what the consequences for not doing what she was told. He also made sure she knew all the rules. When he was done he looked at her. "You understand all this?" He asked her

Jules nodded. "Needles hurt." She said in tears.

David gave her a small hug. "I know they can be uncomfortable but that's why you can squeeze my hand when it hurts." He told her "Okay?" He asked

Jules nodded.

David smiled and went and got the nurse. The nurse came in and took her blood. Jules didn't fight it anymore and she did squeeze David's hand.

The nurse worked as quickly as she could and finished up. When she was done she smiled and thanked them both before she went.

David smiled at Jules. "You did good. I'm proud of you." He told her.

Lorelai came back in with a stuffed elephant.

"How did it go?" Lorelai asked

"Good." David told her

Lorelai smiled. "Good. Because that means you get this elephant as a reward." Lorelai said handing her the elephant.

Julianna's eyes lit up and she took it with a big smile elephants where her favorite.

David looked at Lorelai and smiled. "What do we say to Lorelai?" David asked the young girl

"Thank you!" Jules told her

"You're welcome. Everyone deserves a stuffed animal." She said as she sat back down with them.

Soon after a doctor came into the room. "The blood work came back. All her numbers are where we want them. The results of the DNA test will be sent to your superior agent when it is done. But the nurse will come in with her release papers in a few minutes. She needs to take it easy and will need a check up in a few weeks." The doctor told David

"I will make sure she gets in with a doctor as soon as possible." David said

The doctor nodded and left the room. Soon after the nurse came in and started to remove her IV after handing David the paperwork to sign.

David read it over and signed it. He looked up at Lorelai. "I brought her some clothes. Maybe you could help her change into them?" He asked

Lorelai nodded. "Of course."

She took the little girl to the bathroom and helped her change out of the hospital gown into the clothing that David had brought. When she was dressed they went back out to the room. David wasn't in there anymore. "He must be waiting outside." She told the little girl who grabbed her elephant from the bed before they went out to the nurses station where David was paying the bill.

He looked over when he saw them "All ready?" He asked

"Yes." The little girl told him

Lorelai nodded.

The three of them went out to a car where Dave got the young girl into a car seat. Lorelai got into the passenger side and Dave got into the drivers side when Jules was situated. They drove towards the station.

"So. I know you were cleared but how are you feeling?" David asked Lorelai.

"I'm okay physically. Will need some time for the mentally." Lorelai admitted

Dave nodded and looked in the rear-view mirror and saw the little girl was asleep. "It takes great strength to admit that." He told Lorelai

Lorelai nodded. "I know. I have learned that talking about it makes it easier to work through the issue."

"I know your dad gets after you for it already but you'll still in therapy right?" He asked

Lorelai nodded. "Once a month. And actually, dad hasn't asked in a while I think he knows that I don't skip them anymore because I know they are the reason I know how to work though the hard things."

David nodded. "Well, if he doesn't get after you much anymore I am going to ask. Do you need to book an extra appointment after this?" He asked

"My next one is next week so no." Lorelai said

Dave nodded again. "Okay good."

His phone rang Lorelai answered it for him on speaker. "Agent Rossi."

"Rossi, it's Hotch you can head straight to the jet when you get out of the hospital." Hotch told him

"Okay. Well, we are already out going towards the station we will head to the jet." He said

"See you in a bit." Aaron said before they hung up.

The team all made their way to the jet after they had finished up paperwork.

Lorelai, Dave, and little Julianna were the last ones to arrive. Dave led the little girl to two empty seats and Lorelai sat down with Reid, JJ & Emily.

"You're okay?" Reid asked. He had wanted to go to the hospital but there was already down a member, and he was needed in the field.

Lorelai smiled and nodded. "Yes."

"You sure?" JJ asked

"Yes. I was cleared." She told them

Spencer nodded "I know. Just wanted to make sure."

Lorelai smiled. "I promise Spenc. I'm okay."

He smiled and nodded. "Okay."

Lorelai looked towards Emily. "You're quiet."

"Yeah. Tired." She said

Lorelai could tell that wasn't the whole story. "That it?" Lorelai asked

Emily sighed. "I'm not looking forward to a conversation that Hotch and I will be having back at headquarters."

Lorelai nodded. "Oh. Yeah. I feel that." She said sympathetically

"What did I miss?" Spencer asked

"I ignored an order." Emily said

"Oh." Spencer said

"I knew it was stupid, but I was so angry that we almost got blown up I guess I wasn't thinking straight." Emily said

"Well, Hotch might take that into consideration if you tell him that." Lorelai told her

"Maybe, but I'm still in trouble." Emily pointed out

Lorelai nodded. "As someone who has been in that position to many times to count you will get through it."

"I know. Just not looking forward to it." Emily said

Lorelai nodded.

The rest of the flight home was quiet. When they landed everyone started towards their own places. Hotch let Prentiss know to be at the office early the next morning before he went home too.
