When Snow threatens Katniss and Peeta with the same fate as Finnick if they don’t convince the people of their love, the two are forced to speed up their relationship leading to an extended stay in the Capitol after the Victory Tour where they discover more evil secrets about the Capitol, meet other victors, and face some terrifying choices about love and freedom.

Direct Variation: a mathematical term for the equation y equals kx, in which "k" is a constant, 23 in our case, and "x" is a variable, standing for the number of Games, of course. It's a perfect equation, but unexplainably, there are inconsistencies. And if they have their way, there will be more.

Nearly thirty years after the revolution, Katniss and Peeta have a beautiful life and a beautiful family. But what happens when their 14-year-old daughter, Lily Mellark, goes to high school and finally learns what exactly her parents went through and why they are so well known and loved by the country? Will love be enough to keep the family together, or will the past destroy them?

Mrs. Snow was married to her husband for more years than her fingers could count and Mr. Heavensbee had great plans laid out for the nation that would get him removed from the precious thing called 'life' if found out. Somehow, both collide at an evening dinner, share a few interests, and repeatedly have to remind themselves that they shouldn't be that foolish.

We all know that during the interviews for the Quarter Quell Peeta announced Katniss' "pregnancy". What if Snow actually cancelled the Quarter Quell because of it, though? Katniss was never actually pregnant, obviously. What would happen? Would Katniss and Peeta be forced to have a child? Would the districts successfully rebel against the Capitol?
