Still feeling pumped and excited, so here is another TDW chapter. Last time was full of craziness, Alejandro super kicked Scott for losing their tag team titles, Jo and Jasmine fighting against each other but the match ending in a double count out, much to everyone disappointment. While also, Jo chokeslamed Jasmine onto the steep steps because of the results and afterwards, Mike attacked Lightning and even Persona Stomped him onto the ground for insulting his girlfriend.
Up now, the Military Cadet with a Brave Heart, Brick McArthur, takes on the current United States champion, Ennui Wilson, for said title. Will we see a new United States champion, or will the Brooding Male Goth remain champion? Find out right here, right now! The scene shows the ring side as the fans were all cheering and chanting for the next match to start as Edge soon said, "Hello everyone, welcome back to the TDW event, Heaven or Hell! Just before the break, we witness some craziness happening. The match between Jo Johnson and Jasmine Smith ending in a double count out, this is the first time that TDW had a match ending in a double count out. But also after the match, Mike Peterson literally assaulted Lightning after hearing the overachiever insult his own injured girlfriend, Zoey, which caused Mike to attack him with a steel chair and followed it up with a Persona Stomp right on the ground." Gerry soon took over, 'You got that right, let's not forget our World Heavyweight champion, Alejandro, super kicking his former partner, Scott, twice after their lost against the Surfer Bros. Because of these actions, we are going live to our commissioner, Jacob Masters.
The scene then showed TDW Commissioner, Jacob Masters, standing inside his office as he soon spoke, "Hello there, everyone. Now, I know that you all didn't want the match between Jo and Jasmine to end in a double count out, so I decided this. At TDW, after Heaven or Hell is over, you will see the Jock-ette and the Australian Outback girl on one on one once again in a rematch and this time... there will be no count outs at all. You will all see a winner in that match." The fans all cheered their hearts out while Masters continued on, "And... because Mike attacked Lightning and Alejandro super kicked Scott earlier tonight, you will also see the unlikely duo of Mike Peterson and Scot Cornford take on the team of Alejandro Burromuerto and Lightning Jackson in a tag team match at TDW. Until then, enjoy the rest of tonight's matches!" The scene soon changed back to ringside as Pete soon said, 'Mike and Scott working together, ha! They are going to betray each other easily.' However, Ric Flair took control and said, 'Well what about Jo and Jasmine, the commissioner just said there will be no count outs, which means one of them is bound to win, WOO!'
As soon as Ric finished his Woo, the bell soon ranged for the next match, "The following match is for the WWE United States championship!" Matt Striker said as 'Home' by Daughtry played, "Introducing first, the challenger, he is the Military Cadet with a Brave Heart, Brick McArthur!" Brick walked towards the ring, wearing a cameo wrestling shorts, military boots and knee pads while the fans all cheered and clapped for the Cadet as he entered the ring and saluted to the crowd, making them cheer him on. 'I heard this guy is scared of the dark, ha! He's going to be in for a surprise, hehehe.' Pete and Gerry said while chuckling as Edge rolled his eyes until... the lights went out, freaking out Edge while Brick looked surprised but remained focus on the match. Soon, the sound of howling of fears, the screams of people in true terror and the sounds of demonic creatures echoed throughout the area as Ennui soon said, 'TDW... I have arrived...' The arena soon into crimson red lightning while it flashes on and off as Animal I have Become by Three Day Graced played, "And introducing his opponent, the champion, he is your WWE United States champion, The Brooding Male Goth, Ennui Wilson!" Ennui walked towards the ring, holding the U.S title around his neck similar to the Fiend Bray Wyatt while the fans either remained silent or cheered for him, making the unemotional goth slightly smirk to himself. 'Did he just smirk?!' Edge said in shock while Ennui climbed up into the ring as he soon removed his wig and the title around his neck as the lightning returned to normal. The ref then was handed the United States title as he held it up high and handed it to the timekeeper area.
Brick and Ennui stared at each other, "I can see you are someone with a good heart... I may not smile nor show any emotion... but I wish you the best of luck. Do not hold back." Brick nodded and replied back, 'Same to you, good sir.' Brick saluted as they returned to their corner as the ref soon signal the bell to ring, officially starting the match. Ennui and Brick wasted no time as they grappled each other, pushing one another back and forth until Ennui overpowered the Cadet and pushed him, surprising him very badly. 'This match can go either way, but I am rooting for Brick to win. No offense but Ennui just remains me too much of the Undertaker and what he did to me at Summerslam.' Edge said in a somewhat worried tone, remembering his brutal Hell in a Cell match between the dead man as Brick attempted a blow but Ennui counter it and started delivering jabs and blows towards the cadet's head and torso, pushing him against the ropes. Ennui then ran towards the rope and big booted Brick out of the ring.
"Big boot by the Male Goth!" Ennui soon ran towards the rope and attempted a suicide dive, but instead, he jumped onto the rope and landed on his feet, fooling the cadet while standing and staring at him. Brick quickly entered the ring, but Ennui soon attacked him with a powerful knee to the head as he Irish whipped him to the ropes and soon landed a clothesline onto the Cadet while also following it up with a running stomp, similar to Finn Balor. "Ennui isn't showing any mercy towards this Military Cadet at all." Ric said while the Tennis Rivals soon said, 'C'mon, Ennui! Just finish him off!' Ennui lifted Brick up but the Cadet soon grabbed Ennui and slammed him down with a Belly to Belly suplex while also following it up with a headlock. 'Brick fighting back now!' Edge said while Ennui quickly broke free of the headlock but failed to connect a super kick as Brick dodge it and quickly landed his own big boot onto the Male Goth. "Big Boot this time by the Cadet." Brick soon cracked his knuckles in determination while Ennui returned to his feet.
Brick soon grabbed Ennui and Irish whipped him towards the corner while also running towards him and landing a clothesline towards the U.S champ. "Alright, Brick! You got this!" Edge clapped and rooted for Brick while Ric soon said, 'Aw, c'mon Edge, you know Ennui isn't some bad apple. I can see he has potential to be a future World Champion, like yourself and yours truly.' While Ric said that, Brick chopped Ennui over and over until he grabbed him by the head and tried to slam him down with a suplex, but Ennui quickly counter it as he knee Brick right on the gut, grabbed him and lifted him up, slamming the Cadet down with a powerful powerbomb as he pinned him down. '1.2-' Brick kicked out, not surprising Ennui a bit. 'C'mon, I said don't hold back!' Ennui lifted Brick back on his feet as he started delivering jabs all over his head and torso once again as he then threw him towards the corner and soon landed a running big boot onto the Cadet's skull, making him fall onto his knees. 'Jeez, it looks like Ennui is already finished with this one, hehe.' Ennui sighed, looking at Brick straight in the eyes and said, 'I thought you wanted to become United States champion... but all I see is the soul of a frightened little child!' Ennui soon grabbed and attempted a brain buster but Brick stopped him from doing so as he looked at the Male Goth and said, 'I am no frightened child!' Brick overpowered Ennui and connected a spin buster while also starting stomping down on his chest as he then ran to the ropes and landed a running senton bomb onto the champ.
"Brick is firing back! It looks like this Cadet isn't down yet at all, Rivals, haha!" Edge said while Gerry rolled his eyes as Brick started his comeback as he lifted Ennui back to his feet as he started delivering punches, blows and jabs all over the United States champion. Brick kept it going, causing Ennui to lean against the corner as the ref stopped Brick since the champ was on the ropes as well. However, this gave Ennui the chance as he grabbed Brick by the throat and soon slammed him down with a chokeslam. 'CHOKESLAM BY OUR UNITED STATES CHAMPION!' Ennui growled and stared at the Military Cadet. 'Now that's what I was talking about... Brick.' Ennui said to himself as he then dragged Brick to the center and lifted him back up as Ennui then twisted his arm and dragged him towards the corner, going up to the turnbuckle as Ennui walked onto the rope and soon connected an old school onto the Cadet. 'Old School by the U.S champ! Ennui is really honoring the Deadman very well.' Ric said with a confident smile as Ennui soon locked in a sleeper hold but Brick overpowered him, running towards the corner and slamming Ennui's back onto it. Ennui released his hold as Brick then grabbed his head and soon placed him up onto the turnbuckle. "Brick is climbing up the turnbuckle, is he thinking of hitting the Male Goth with a Superplex?" Edge said in curiously as Brick grabbed Ennui and tried to slam him down with a superplex… but the Male Goth refused to let him.
"I... Won't... Let you... WIN!" Ennui howled as he broke free and headbutted Brick hard while grabbing him by the throat yet again! 'Ennui has Brick by the throat! He's going for a chokeslam from up top the turnbuckle!' The Tennis Rivals, The Nature Boy and The Rated R Superstar as well as the crowds watching this were on their feet. Ennui soon did the throat slash sign as he jumped from the top turnbuckle, slamming Brick down with super chokeslam onto the center of the ring. The fans all cheered and screamed as Ennui crawl his way towards Brick and placed his arm onto his chest. 'There's a pin! Start counting!' The ref begins the count, '1.2-' Brick kicked out, shocking everyone and even surprising Ennui. "He has fight... but I think this match is over." Ennui returned to his feet as he grabbed Brick's arm and pulled him up. However, this caused Brick to regain some of energy and grabbed Ennui by the side as he quickly connected his finisher, the Military Cross Slam. 'MILITARY CROSS SLAM! IT'S OVER!' Brick fell onto Ennui as the ref started the count again, '1-' Ennui kicked out at 1, literally shocking everyone! 'WHAT THE HELL!? He kicked out at 1!? How was this possible!?' Gerry screamed as well did Edge while Ennui returned to his feet like just the Undertaker while Brick grabbed onto the ropes and slowly stood back up. "You... have a strong fighting spirit but... you will not win tonight." Ennui said breathing in and out while Brick only said, 'I'm going to prove you wrong!' Soon enough, Brick and Ennui started throwing punches towards each other, the fans all cheered for them both as they punched each other one by one.
"Ennui and Brick aren't giving up at all! One of these men is leaving this match United States champion." Ennui soon won the brawl as he jabbed and punched Brick over and over as he then ran to the ropes and attempted a high running knee kick but Brick moved out of the way, almost hitting the referee. 'Oh! Ennui nearly kicked off that ref's head.' Ennui apologized to the referee while Brick took the chance and attempted to hit the Male Goth with a spear, but Ennui dodged it as well, causing Brick to spear the referee down. 'OH MY GOD! No, spear onto the referee!' Ric said in total horror while the commentary team were in shock as well, Brick looked horrified for spearing the referee until Ennui regain some power, turned Brick around and quickly grabbed him up and soon... slammed him down with the Tombstone Piledriver! "Tombstone! Ennui has ended this match... but the referee is still down." Ennui soon walked towards the ref and tried to wake him up when...
"The hell!? Who are they!?" Out of nowhere, two unknown figures started attacking Ennui, both of them kneeing and jabbing the Male Goth while the ref was still down and so was Brick. 'Oh god, he's helpless!' Ennui, however, pushed them aside and grabbed the shorter one by the throat. However, the taller one struck him down with a steel pipe and even connected a hammerlock DDT while the short one soon landed a punt kick, knocking out the Male Goth while they pulled Brick onto him. 'Oh not like this! C'mon, ref, wake up!' While this was happening, Crimson rushed herself into the ring but the unknown assailants quickly exit the ring and exit through the crowd while Crimson looked enraged. While this was happening, the ref regains some conscious and soon started the count. '1.2.3' The bell ranged while Crimson looked in shock, 'What, no!' Brick exit the ring while Matt Striker soon said, 'Here is your winner and the new WWE United States champion, the Military cadet with a Brave Heart, Brick McArthur!' The fans were cheered for Brick or remain quiet, upset for Ennui. "This is just horrible! Ennui lost the United States belt because someone helped Brick! I don't think Brick even knows!" Ric said while Crimson helped Ennui back up but he looked annoyed as Brick slowly walked towards the locker room, holding the United States title around his shoulder.
"This isn't what we wanted the match to even end. I bet Jacob is going to be pretty enraged about this." Gerry said while the others nodded as the scene soon shows Emma and Noah preparing for their mix tag team match against Josee and Jacques while it also shows Mike, stretching his body and limbs up and even started punching the wall, getting ready for his 3 Stages of Hell match against Alejandro. 'Well still to come tonight, Mike Peterson will go against Alejandro in a 3 Stages of Hell match for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. But up next, Noah and his Lawyer girlfriend, Emma, will take on the Ice Dancers, Josee and Jacques in a mix tag team match. Who will win? Find out after this'
Backstage Segment
Brick was walking through the locker room area, holding the United States title around his shoulder until he overheard Ennui screaming his name, "BRICK!" Brick turned and saw an enraged Ennui, stomping his way towards the Military Cadet while a few TDW competitors held him back. "Move! I said, move!" Ennui pushed anyone in his way while Crimson tried to calm him down until Jacob Masters arrived, 'Hey! Stop now right.' Brick remain where he stood while Ennui was breathing in and out angrily, 'Look... I saw what happened and I was going to stop the match... but management called and they told me to let the match continue on... because they wanted more rating. But this is still my brand and I still run it with an iron fist! Brick, I'm sorry but you didn't win that belt honorably. I am asking you to do the right thing... hand Ennui the belt.' Brick looked at the commissioner while Ennui demanded the belt back but... Brick refuse to.
"No... I'm sorry but I won't! This belt represents the great country I trained for to defend. I'm sorry but I won't hand you the title back." Ennui tried to attack him but Masters stopped him, 'Alright, fine. If you won't hand Ennui the title back. Then, I will make you defend it against him after Heaven or Hell.' Brick and Ennui looked surprise, 'Yes, Brick and Ennui, you both will have a rematch for the United States championship. Will you accept it?' Ennui nodded while Brick said, "Of course, I will give him a rematch since... you said I didn't win honorably, and I want to prove myself. Ennui, I will see you at TDW." Brick walked away while Ennui looked at Masters with a glare, 'You're letting him go with my-' Jacob stopped him and said, 'I'm sorry but... I will do this. Crimson will be allowed to be by your corner as backup if whoever were the ones that attacked you come back... alright.' Ennui sighed and just nodded while he left but Crimson looked at the commissioner. 'You better do what's right, sir. We did help you...' Crimson left while Masters sighed a bit. 'I need to find out who was this.'
Ennui has lost the United States title, thanks to whoever it was that attacked him during the match. But Masters is giving Ennui his rematch after Heaven or Hell against Brick while Crimson is allowed by his corner. But coming up, Noah and Emma will take on Josee and Jacques in mix tag team action. Will the Ice Dancers win or will Noah and Emma overcome the odds and take down one of their most hated rivals and... who were those unknown assailants that attacked Ennui and are they connected to Mike and Zoey's?
