Hey again, everyone! So, I thought to myself and I decided to work on a few more chapters for this fic before I start working on my other fanfics. Main reason, because I am still feeling pump with inspiration and excitement after seeing last night's NXT event and also after watching a few WWE videos on YouTube.
Last time, TDW started the night with a Women Division match between Jo and Jasmine with no counts at all! The two strong women battled it out with each other and even fought a bit outside the ring. Jasmine nearly had Jo where she wanted her but after the Jock-ette tossed Jasmine against the turnbuckle, she took the advantage and delivered a Jock-ette slam as well as a Jack Knife powerbomb, giving Jasmine her first lost in TDW.
But now, The Military Cadet with a Heart, Brick, defends his United States championship against the man he defeated at Heaven or Hell to become US champ, the Brooding Male Goth, Ennui in a rematch from last night. Will Ennui demolish Brick and reclaim what was robbed of him or will Brick defeat Ennui honorably and remain United States champion? Find out right now!
The scene shows Scott and Courtney, both discussing about his tag team match tonight until... Mike arrived and looked at Scott with an unhappy expression but was at ease. "Scott..." Mike said calmly yet annoyingly while Scott, with the same expression, soon replied back, 'Mike...' Courtney remained quiet, believing Scott could handle it on his own. "Let's get things straight, I absolutely don't like you at all and I definitely know you feel the same way about me." Scott nodded, 'Yeah I do.' Mike then continued on, "But you and I both share the same thing in our mind, getting back at Alejandro for what he did to us. He blames you for losing your tag team titles last night and super kicked you twice for it. While he injured my girlfriend as he and Heather stole what Zoey and I won honorably." Scott nodded until Courtney butt in and said
"What do you want exactly, Mike?" Mike stared at Courtney with an express that meant he didn't want to be bothered or annoyed at all before turning his eyes back to Scott. 'Simple really, all I am asking for tonight is that we both put our differences aside and take down Lightning and Alejandro in our match. Afterwards, we can go back to hating each other if we want to... okay?' Scott cleared his voice and soon said, 'I actually want to focus more on getting my hands on Alejandro tonight... so fine. I pushed aside our past and focus more on winning our tag team match.' Mike soon nodded but soon said, 'Great... but if you do betray me or even help me at all... I will take you down like I did before.' Mike and Scott glared at one another until Courtney got involved again and said
"Listen Mike, you don't get to threaten Scott at all. If you think Scott is going to stab you in the back, that is what I call disloyalty. You want Scott's trust; you need to trust him too... okay?" Mike soon growled and said, 'Listen here Courtney, you don't know Scott like I do! You only meant him during season 5... the same season you betrayed Gwen again.' Courtney soon said, "Only because you found my chart and-" That's when Mike had enough, 'I! Didn't do nothing! Mal did it! You're blaming me for what my alter did! But I guess he did something right, if he didn't found that chart, you would have still betrayed Gwen and ruin your friendship with her again! You're talking to me about having trust... Gwen trusted you... and look where it got you now. Everyone who you were allies with... no longer trust you, little Ms. Perfect.' Mike soon left while Courtney looked deeply shocked as Scott said nothing.
The scene returned to ring side as Edge soon said, "Wow, Mike has a good point though. If Mal didn't found Courtney's chart, she would have still betrayed Gwen. Either way, Courtney ruined her chances of being Gwen's friends during that season. But can Mike really trust Scott after everything those two been through during Total Drama?" The commentary team all shrugged before 'Home' by Daughtry played as the bell soon ranged for the next match. 'The following match is set for one fall and it is for the WWE United States championship! Introducing first, he is the Military Cadet with the Brave Heart and your New WWE United States champion, Brick McArthur!' Brick walked down the idle, wearing camo wrestling shorts and combat boots and black knee pads while wearing the United States title around his waist as the fans all cheered for him, making him smile with proudness. He soon entered the ring and held the US championship belt up high while saluting to the fans, making him all cheer for him even more until... the lights and the arena went dark. "Not again..." Edge said as the sounds of howls, the demonic moans of terror and the chilling shrieks of people screaming fear echoed throughout the arena. 'TDW... We have arrived.'
Soon the arena lighten with crimson red lightning as 'Animal I have Become' by Three Day Grace played, "And introducing his opponent, accompanied by The Brooding Female Goth, Crimson Smith, he is the Brooding Male Goth, Ennui Wilson!" Lillian Garcia said as she exits out of the ring while Ennui and Crimson walked towards the ring, hearing the TDW crowd cheer for them while they remain unemotional, yet Ennui felt enraged inside. Ennui soon entered the ring as the lighten returned to normal. Brick handed the referee the United States title as he held it up high for everyone to see. Ennui removed his wig and handed it to Crimson who remained outside the ring. 'I guess Crimson's here just to back Ennui up if someone attacks him again, hahahaha!' Pete joked around, while Gerry joined him on his laughter. Brick looked ready but Ennui looked deeply enraged. 'I lost that title because someone attacked me, then you refused to hand back what was stolen from me! You will regret it, Military boy.' Ennui growled to himself, showing a different expression than he usually shows in his matches.
The ref soon signals the bell to ring, officially starting the match off! Brick and Ennui circled around the ring before the two grappled each other, wanting to gain first advantage in the match as Ennui did so by pushing Brick away and landing a hard chop to his chest. "Chest chop by Ennui! This man isn't holding back at all!" Ennui soon chopped Brick's chest again and again and again, leaving red marks all over his chest as he then had him in the corner and started delivering hard jabs and blows to the United States champ's head. The referee soon stopped Ennui, nearly causing him to be disqualified as Ennui grabbed Brick and clotheslined him hard. 'Yes, destroy him Ennui! Show him why you are more worthy for the title than he is!' Crimson shouted out as Ennui lifted Brick back up and soon Irish whipped him onto the ropes as he soon landed a big boot and followed it up with a springboard leg drop. "Ennui is showing no mercy towards Brick, he must be feeling truly enraged after last night. Brick refused to hand back Ennui the title even after being to by Jacob Masters since Ennui was attacked by two masked figures after the ref got unconscious."
Ennui then locked in a camel clutch onto Brick, wanting to defeat him easily but Brick overpowered Ennui, escaping the clutch and quickly pulled Ennui down as Brick soon locked in a camel clutch of his own. "Brick now has the camel clutch on Ennui! Wait, Ennui has the ropes!" Ric said as Ennui grabbed onto the ropes as Brick released his hold as Ennui returned to his feet but Brick dropped him down with a spear. 'Spear by Brick!' Edge shouted out loud as Brick went for an early pinfall but Ennui kicked out before the ref could even start the count. "Ennui kicked out quickly, Brick needs to do a lot more damage if he wants to remain United States champion." Brick soon lifted Ennui back up as he started upper cutting Ennui over and over before he ran to the ropes and clothesline himself and Ennui out of the ring. 'Both men are now outside the ring, let's hope this doesn't like Jo and Jasmine's match last night.' Ennui quickly returned to his feet as he soon grabbed Brick and slammed his back against the barricade and soon followed it up with another slam, this time on the ring apron. 'I am going to MAKE you regret never handing me back my title!' Ennui swore as he soon pushed Brick back into the ring after breaking the ref's count of 4. Ennui soon climbed up the turnbuckle and waited for Brick to return to his feet. 'Do it, Ennui! Break him!' Crimson cheered Ennui as Brick returned to his feet, only to feel a powerful flying clothesline curtesy of the Brooding Male Goth.
"Ennui now has the advantage once again over Brick! Can he really become a 2 time United States champion?" Ric said as Ennui soon started stomping down on Brick over and over, damaging the Cadet's chest even more. 'Ahh! That title belongs to me, Brick! You never won it honorably! If you were truly an honorable competitor, you should have surrendered that title back to me!' Ennui spoke towards Brick as he then lifted him back up and slammed him down with a chokeslam as he then went for the win. '1.2-' Brick kicked out until Ennui locked in a sleeper hold, refusing to let Brick go at all. 'Give up already! Tap out now!' Ennui screamed as he tighten grip even more, causing Brick to lose a bit of motion as he felt on one of his knees. "Brick is down to one knee! Is Ennui going to make him pass out?" Ric said while the crowd all cheered for Ennui yet many others cheered for Brick to escape. 'I... can't... give up!' Brick struggled his way towards the ropes but Ennui pulled him back towards the middle of the ring as he tighten his grip even more. Brick was losing conscious until...
"HEY! Who's that!?" Edge shouted as a mask figured arrived and slammed Crimson against the steel steps causing Ennui to stop and exit the ring, but the masked figure quickly escaped towards the crowd. Ennui soon went to check on Crimson, seeing if she was alright at all. Crimson told him that she was fine but also said to get back to the match, before he gets counted out. Ennui quickly entered the ring, stopping the ref's count at 6. However, Brick took the advantage as he grabbed Ennui and did a spin buster hard before he then climbed up the turnbuckle and landed a big senton bomb onto the Brooding Male Goth. 'Senton bomb by the Military Cadet! He has taken the advantage after Ennui got distracted. I don't get who would do that towards the Goths?' Ric said while Pete said, 'Maybe it's someone who was wronged by the Goths, but I don't think there's anyone who the Goths wronged.' While this was happening, Brick lifted Ennui back up and pushed him against the corner as he started elbowing him over and over. The ref soon told Brick to stop in which he did but Ennui grabbed him by the throat and attempted a chokeslam, but Brick reversed it and slammed the Male Goth down with a German Suplex.
"Ahh! I will not give up and lose the United States title! I will win and stay champion! I cannot lose!" Brick, filled with determination, got Ennui back to his feet and soon setted up to deliver a powerbomb but Ennui reversed it and soon slammed Brick down with an Alabama Slam. Ennui screamed like a demon as he grabbed Brick and slammed him down with a powerbomb before he then got him back up but twisted his arm and pulled him towards the turnbuckle. Ennui then climb up to the top turnbuckle and walked onto the ropes. 'One of Undertaker's signature moves!' Edge said as Ennui then landed an old school onto Brick. 'Old School by the Brooding Male Goth! Ennui isn't down just yet folks! But neither is Brick!' Ennui and Brick both are getting more and more exhausted but both of them refuse to give up! Ennui soon landed a blow to Brick's head but then Brick did the same thing as the two started throwing punch after punch towards each other. The fans all cheered for them both but Ennui soon countered a throw and landed headbutt onto the Cadet as he then grabbed him by the head and connected a suplex as he then went up the turnbuckle again, wanting to connect either a frog splash or another leg drop like earlier but however, Brick got back up and jumped onto the turnbuckle. 'Brick is up the turnbuckle! Is he going to slam Ennui from up the turnbuckle!?' Gerry screamed as Brick started jabbing Ennui as he then grabbed him by the head, wanting to connect superplex but Ennui wouldn't let him at all
"No, Ennui! Don't let him! C'mon, finish him off!" Crimson screamed towards her gothic king, encouraging him to not give up as Ennui soon stopped Brick from landing the superplex, assaulting him on his head and chest as he then grabbed him by the throat, as he soon dropped down, slamming Brick down with a super chokeslam! 'Oh my god! A memory from last night! Ennui just did a super chokeslam onto Brick just like last night at Heaven or Hell! Wait, Ennui is back on his feet!' The commentary team were on their feet as Ennui got back up similar to how Undertaker did as he returned to his feet and soon decided that it was time! 'Time... to end this.' Ennui and Crimson both did the throat slicing motion as Ennui begins to set up for the Tombstone Piledriver. Brick slowly returned to his feet as Ennui soon grabbed him and setted up for the Deadman's finisher. "Yes, do it! Drag him to hell, Ennui!" Crimson slammed her hands against the apron, showing a different side of her as Ennui son enough... slammed Brick down, piledriving the Cadet down. 'IT'S ALL OVER! Ennui has Brick down on the ring mat!' Ennui grabbed both of Brick's hands and pinned him on his chest, pinning down like the Undertaker. '1.2-'
However, before the ref count down to 3, another masked figure, this time, a more buffer one, entered the ring and attacked Ennui, causing the referee to signal the bell to ring, ending the match. "No! Not again!" Edge shouted as Crimson entered the ring but soon the same masked figure from earlier arrived and stopped her from saving Ennui as the two started attacking the Goths while Brick rolled out of the ring. The masked assailants punched and stomped on Ennui and Crimson, not letting up... until to everyone's shocker... Mike arrived. 'Wait a minute! It's Mike!' Mike arrived, holding a steel chair as both assailants made an exit through the crowd yet again while Mike threaten them that he will find out who they are! Ennui and Crimson both slowly returned to their feet while Mike looked at them and slowly exit the ring as Brick sat against the barricade holding the United States title.
"Ladies and gentlemen, your winner by disqualification, the Brooding Male Goth, Ennui Wilson. However, still your United States champion, The Military Cadet, Brick McArthur!" The crowds were deeply disappointed while Ennui slammed his fist against the turnbuckle in pure anger as Mike looked at Brick then at the Goths before walking away with the steel chairs in hand still. 'Oh man, Ennui once again was screwed over by some unknown figure but at least Mike was able to save them... but why though? Why did Mike come out and helped the Goths out?' Gerry said while Edge replied back, 'Perhaps whoever cost Ennui the title is the same one who cost Mike his rematch last night and also caused Zoey's injury in the first place.' The commentary team all wonder while the scene changed back to the locker room area, showing Cameron heading towards the ring as his handicap match against Max and Ezekiel is up next. 'Well folks, coming up, Cameron Wilkins is to take on Max Bolton and Ezekiel Murphy in a handicap match! Will Cameron get his retribution from last week or will Max and Ezekiel easily take the bubble Genius down? We'll find out after the break.'
Backstage Segment
Ennui and Crimson were both walking through the locker room area, both of them bruised a bit but both deeply enraged until Masters arrived. "Ennui, I am sorry what happened to you just moments ago. I didn't knew-" Ennui soon grabbed him by his shirt and said, 'WE... HELPED YOU! WE ASKED FOR NOTHING BUT NOW THEY WANT TO FUCK US OVER! You...' Ennui let go of Masters while angrily screaming as he slammed a fist onto the wall. "Look, I am saying this to you right now. Because of this, I am giving you another chance, but you need to earn it. In two weeks, there will be a battle royal to determine the number 1 contender for Brick's United States championship at the next PPV event. You will be involved in it... all you have to do is win. That's all... okay?" Ennui sighed deeply but nodded, 'Fine...' Masters soon continued on, "Also, I haven't seen Crimson compete at all since she fought Izzy. So, you two will be in action next week. Until then, take care for now." Masters left while Crimson held Ennui's hand, comforting her fallen Gothic king.
Ennui takes the win but Brick remains United States champions after two unknown assailants interfered in the match. But also, Mike came and saved them from getting even more bruised from the assailants. But also, during the break, Masters announced that Ennui will be in a battle royal to determine a number 1 contender for the United States championship.
Coming up, Cameron seeks to get some retribution as face off against Max and Ezekiel in a two vs. one handicap match. Will Cameron get another win, or will Max and Ezekiel get their first win in TDW tonight? Find out in the next chapter.
