The ROOT nins were stunned. These traitors were defying their great leader Danzo. They were the superior ones not these traitors. The ROOT commander spoke.

"Kill them all!! For Danzo!!" he cried out. Tge ROOT nins rushed at Tsunade and the others. Quickly, the sannin showed why they were the sannin. ROOT nins are falling left and right but kept coming. Rania was fighting too but something felt off.

"Trent, can you link me to Danok?" Rania telepathically asked Trent.

"Done.""

Danok, is it me or is something off with these nins?" Rania asked.

"Something is off. They appear to be like liches, coming out of a generator. This is concerning because I can't sense dark power." Danok linked back. Rania threw a nin into the another one. They seemed to be unaffected. Rania suddenly understood. Quickly, she called to everyone else.

" They're morphus liches!! Take their heads!". Rania said, pulling her sword from her side. She quickly sliced the heads off of two nins, their bodies becoming ash. She heard a grunt and looked to her left. Galen was under attack from all sides. Quickly, Rania ran towards him, taking out two liches. Galen was still fighting three liches. Rania grabbed one and snapped his neck. She was under attack from two more when she was flattened to the ground by a heavy weight. Her breath was knocked out of her. What the hell? What knocked me down? Rania thought as she was pinned down. She tried to get up but was held fast.

Danok, whats holding me down?" Rania asked."Some sort of chain. We are trying to get you free.""Chakra chains. Thank goodness i didnt use my blood chakra." Rania spoke. Suddenly a voice spoke.

"Well, i caught one. Not the one i was aiming for. Lord Danzo has promised me a great reward for you." A red haired woman said. Rania looked up at her, curious. She looks like Kushina. Suddenly, the chains began to burn into Rania. She didnt cry out as is was a minor annoyance.

"Time to end this. Chakra chain art: Constricting ...oooof" Karin spoke. Suddenly Rania felt the chains gone. She was helped to her feet by Galen. Quickly she noticed Karin was in a tangle of silverware. She knew who had saved her. Sebastian was a few steps away with Ciel. Ciel looked at the girl with disdain. Sebastian smiled at Rania.

"Lady Rania, are you alright?" Ciel asked. Rania was still a little breathless.

"Good enough. You're timing is impeccable as always, Ciel. This girl is concerning so we take her with us. Where are the others?" Rania asked.

"Alucard and Adrian are dispatching the last of the liches. The nins are interrogating the few ROOT that were here." Sebastian answered. Rania nodded as she was walking towards Karin.

"What is your full name?" Rania asked. Karin snarled.

"Why do you want to know?" Karin spat. Rania was calm as she walked up. KI began leaking from her as she neared Karin's restrained body. Karin began to fidget as she felt the KI. Within a few minutes, she was sweating and barely able to breathe. Rania smiled coldly.

"I've barely released any KI and you are already near unconsciousness. Weak, pathetic, and stupid girl. You will tell us everything." Rania said, releasing more KI making Karin pass out. Sebastian wrapped her up tightly. Rania quickly joined the the others. Tsunade was tending the injured while the other jins were insuring the liches were dead. Danok walked towards Rania, concerned.

"Are you alright?" Danok asked softly. Rania smiled.

"Yes. I'll be a little sore tomorrow but I've had worse. This nit here is a prisoner." Rania explained. Danok glanced at tge girl.

"She looks like Kushina. A clone?" Danok asked. Rania shook her head.

"Not sure but we will found out. Can you put wards on her to make sure she doesnt have trackers?" Rania asked. Danok nodded and placed his hand over Karin's heart. Murmuring a few words, seals appeared and dissipated quickly. Ranis tgen turned to the rest of the nins who were boarding. Tsunade walked over.

"No casualties on our side, some serious wounded, and a few minor injuries. All of these things are dead. We've loaded all on board except the ones standing here. We are ready to board when you are-or should i say after i examine you?" Tsunade told Rania quickly. Rania quirked an eyebrow at Tsunade. Tsunade spoke.

"I know the smell of chakra burns. You reek of it." Tsunad. Rania shook her head.

"Later, we've got to get on board so..." Rania began, only to be cut off by another voice.

"The ship can wait, Rania, let Tsunade examine you or I'll have to tie you down and let her do her job " Galen said. Rania grimaced.

" I'm certain that I will be alright. I've have for worse that this. But if you insist, I'll have her examine me. Danok, please make sure that the prisoner is secured. I'm sure Ciel wants Sebastian with him. We'll join you later." Rania said, knowing that Galen would back that statement up. Soon only Rania, Galen, and Tsunade were on shore. Quickly, Tsunade motioned for Rania to sit down. Once seated, Tsunade began her exam. Tsunade knew that Rania couldn't be healed or treated with chakra but could be examined. Tsunade ran her tests quickly.

"Nothing broken but you are going to be sore for a while. The chakra burns will heal in a day or two." Tsunade said as she finished her tests. Rania smiled as she stood up. Galen nodded.

"That means being careful, I know. Now to go home." Rania said, as they boarded the ship. The group was quiet as they tried to get some rest. Rania was leaning against the mast if tge ship when she heard a noise. Quickly, she unsheathed a small dagger to throw. Suddenly the shadow moved and grabbed for her. Rania was on her feet in an instant. The nin threw a potion bottle at her but Rania was able to deflect it to the side. The nin jumped at her trying to cut her. Rania was able to parry the blows but had a disadvantage in reach. She was the only ine above deck so she had to stop this nin soon. Suddenly an idea came to her.

"Who are you?" Rania asked as their blades met again. The nin replied.

"Why do you care? All nins are murderers! The bitch you have on board MURDERED my family!! I want her head!!" The nin screamed. Rania put her blade down, realizing that this girl was only after Karin and not her. The nin tgen removed her mask to reveal a girl no old than 14. Rania looked at her.

"The woman you're after is under arrest for such crimes. She will face justice." Rania spoke. The girl looked up at her. Seejng truth in her eyes, the girl began to sob.

"She...was the representative of the village when she came to see us. She laughed and then released those chains. My father, mother, and siblings were killed and the new Damiyo was installed. I grabbed tora and ran. I want justice!" The girl explained, puuting a familiar cat out. Rania walked over to the girl.

"You're the fire damiyos daughter, aren't you?" Rania asked softly. The girl nodded.

"My name is Suki. I'm the youngest." Suki said. A movement caught Rania's attention. Jirayia had come up deck to see what the commotion was. Jirayia looked at the girl.

"Lady Suki, what are you doing here? Your parents..." Jirayia spoke.

" Are dead." Suki said still sobbing. Rania looked at Jirayia as Tsunade and the others came up.

"Tsunade, can you take Suki below and see if she is injured in any way?" Rania asked. Tsunade nodded.

"Come, Suki, lets go below." Tsunade said wrapping her arm around the girl. The pair quietly descended. Rania looked at Jirayia and Danok.

"If the Fire Damiyo is dead, then any treaty is null and void. Which means that the treaty that he signed with the other villages are voided. Danzo wont make a move after tonight." Rania said.

"What makes you certain he wouldn't act?" Jirayia asked. Rania looked at him, her eyes cold.

"If he had the manpower to take us, he would have sent them. My guess is that his takeover fights have depleted his ROOT and until the recuits are fully trained he will just keep sending small units of hired soldiers. Also, the bitch that chained mention something of a prize if we were killed or captured. That means that he is the one who raised the bounty on our heads." Rania said as the ship neared Velos. It was midnight and the city was quiet. The group stepped off the ship with the nins going one way and the Consul Guard going another. Quickly, everyone made their way to their own sleeping quarters. Rania was in her room when a knock sounded at the door. She knew who it was and opened the door.

"Hello, Mother. Shouldn't you be asleep?" Rania asked Tersa. Tersa glared at her daughter.

"You were injured tonight. I came to see if I could help and to make sure you are ok." Tersa said softly. Rania removed her coat so she could undress for a quick shower. Tersa sucked in her breath. Rania's body was covered with dirt, bruises, and chakra burns. Tersa immediately acted.

"You plan on taking a shower?" Tersa asked.

"Yes, Then sleep." Rania said.

"No, shower, then I will rub you with ointment so you will be able to breath tomorrow. And who burnt you?" Tersa said as she opened the small cabinet in the room. Rania paused a moment.

"Mother, it was a girl named Karin. She used chakra chains to attack me." Rania said as she entered the shower. She hissed as the hot water hit tender flesh. She was soon out and in her robe. Tersa was waiting for her.

"Impossible. The Uzu clan were the only ones who could use chakra chains. Unless shes a lost relative." Tersa said as she began to rub the ointment in Rania's skin.

"Mom, she looks alot like Kushina. Is it possible that Kushina was cloned?" Rania wondered aloud as her mothers hand, infused with magic, soothed her aches. Rania found herself growing sleepy and her mom guided her to her bed and continued to massage the skin. Tersa soon noticed that Rania was asleep. Quickly and quietly she replaced the ointment and left. Tersa was in the common room before long giving a death stare to Danok.

"I didn't get injured." Danok said to his adoptive mother. Tersa pursed her lips.

"This girl that attacked Rania, does she look like Kushina?" Tersa asked. Danok solemnly answered.

"Yes, enough to be classified as a younger sister or daughter. She is to be questioned in the morning." Danok said. Tersa looked bewildered. Her family consisted of herself, Rania, Tsunade, and Naruto. There was no mention of another or her magic would have picked it up. Something was amiss.

Konoha

Danzo was sitting in the Hokage's seat waiting on the report if his commarder from the mission. Suddenly, the door opened to reveal said commander.

"Report." Danzo said. The man spoke.

"The mission was a loss. We were defeated. The mercenary force was wiped out." The nin said.

"You dared to come here after failure! Where's Karin?"

"You told me to report to you. She was killed along with the others." The nin reported. Danzo scoffed. Suddenly, the officer became cold and dark. The nin's face took on a laughing smile.

"You were warned once. Attack the nins or any innocent people again and you'll be sorry. Your little commander is an example of what i can do. Sweet Dreams." the voice said as the commsnder began to l. Suddenly, his head exploded all over Danzo's pristine office. There were bits of blood and brains everywhere. Danzo roared.

"Send someone to Pathon Island! And clean this mess up." He shouted as the nins rushed to obey. Danzo grimaced. Perhaps he needed to hold back these attacks for awhile. He needed money and he needed to train more soldiers.

Mist Village

Pain looked out over the village that they had acquired. It was useless as a nin village now due to the nins leaving and taking everything with them.The secret scroll of the Mist village was said to hold countless forbidden justus but was lost. Konan was behind him.

"We need allies. Cloud, Iwa, and sand have all joined together against us. The leaf is a joke of a village. I have heard of a land in the south that holds promise. If we could get there, no one would stand in our way. Sasori, Tobi, go to this place and bring the leader to me for "reeducation". Pain said. Deidara was mad.

"I wanna blow stuff up!" He whined. Pain glared at him.

"We need stealth. Without Zetsu, they are the stealthiest. Meet back here in three days." Pain said, leaving the meeting. The others quietly followed. A black butterfly fluttered away towards the south, its message dire.

Velos-Morning

Rania woke up as usual. She felt the soreness from last night's attack as she got up. The burn marks were gone. She quickly got dressed and headed to the training area. Hinata was waiting for her there but she wasn't alone. Gaara had joined her. Rania looked at Gaara curious as to why he came. Gaara spoke.

"Naruto told me that you helped him summon Kyuubi. Can you do the same for me?" Gaara asked curious. Rania nodded.

"Yes, the chakra demons were never meant to be caged like monsters. I can help you call out Shukaku. Say SUMMONING JUSTU:SHUKAKU!" Rania said. Gaara bit his thumb and yelled the words. Suddenly, a young man appeared clutching his head.

"MAKE HIM STOP!!! I DON'T WANNA KILL ANYMORE!!!!" Shukaku screamed. Rania spoke.

"Make who stop?" She asked.

"THE MONK!!! KILL, KILL, KILL THATS ALL HE SAYS!"
